It’s the 1980s in snowy Norway and the long-haired teenage rebel, Petter, is flicking through a magazine. He spots an advert from Stephanie, a teen in Minnesota, USA. She’s looking for a pen pal. From the moment the pen hits the paper, the two form a bond that sees them through life-threatening illness, drugs, grief, and crime. Their young love is put to the test when Petter is arrested.
