Speaker 1 (00:01):
How are you, mister wheat Trow.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Bred It's Friday. I'm fantastic. Happy Friday. We're here. It
was just Monday a minute ago.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
I got a note from from Adam this morning. He said,
I if Tim Wheatrow doesn't say that he's fantastic, I'm
out of here.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
No, you're sticking with us, Adam. It's Friday, you have
to be and.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
We are fantastic.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
The stock markers Cisco went crazy yesterday. I think all
three indisses saw saw gains and even set a couple
of records.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
So let's run through some numbers. What happened yesterday?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah, let's uh, that's Cisco that I'm just going to
jump right on that one right there. Bred the tech
giant stock leap thirteen, near his best day in fifteen years. Wow.
So yeah, very interesting. But before I give you the
indusses here, what what happened you today? In the economic
information that came out, the US retail sales was last

(01:05):
month at one point sixty five. They were expecting only
point five. It came in at point five, so it's
dropping a little. But retail sales minus autos this is
where it was at one point nine. They were expecting
point eight. It came in at point seven, so not
as I mean, it was a little bit below expectation,
but not as bad as what they thought. But we're
starting to get the pressure on inflation or the worries

(01:29):
about it, and I'll come back to that. But the
dow yesterday, this lookd at some positivity. The dow yesterday
was up three hundred and seventy points, which went over
fifty thousand has been there before, It's been a little bit,
which is point seventy five percent yesterday s and P
five hundred setting a record at fifty six point nine nine,
so basically fifty seven points at point seventy seven, just

(01:51):
like the Natzi Cup two hundred and thirty two points,
which is point eighty eight of a percent. If we
look at the futures today though, that pressure of inflation
there straight the ten year is up four point five
three and the two years over four percent at four
point zero five. So that puts pressure and worries on inflation.
And you come back to the futures in this morning

(02:12):
and you look at them and they're red. We're negative
for possibly the open by nine point thirty, but anything
can changed. But that's what they're saying pre market, and
you might as well go back to money oils. Trude
oil over one hundred bucks one hundred point sixty one
Brent up one hundred and nine dollars or at one
hundred and nine, should say, up to that one hundred

(02:32):
and nine. Both of those are up a little bit
over three percent this morning. Diesels Hold and Steady at
five dollars and sixty six cents. Ohio average came down
three cents from yesterday. It's a four dollars and fifty
nine cents, and I've seen it lower than that driving
around Toledo.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Mm hmm. Yeah, Yeah, it depends on where you look.
You can find a price, and it's probably best. I
don't know, I've never used gas Buddy, but I understand
that if you use gas Buddy you can actually kind
of find out where the gas is lowest and then
shop around a little bit.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
M I agree, And I've seen, you know, like one time,
I've mentioned that I've seen lines before outside of Costco
weeks ago. But yeah, it's it's a little rough sometimes
out there finding some little gas prices. But they'll talk
about step up up thirteen point seven percent nice Spiking
holdings up five point five and Yetti holdings up six

(03:28):
point two percent. Not really anything to do with tech there.
So it's nice to see those companies coming up if
we look at other companies, so of course we know
about Cisco, JB Hunt Transport up seven percent. I like
seeing that, especially with the diesel prices. Welden was up
six point ninety seven. On the negative side, Biogym was
down six point four to three, quak Coom off six

(03:50):
point one four. Boeing even though they're supposedly going to
get some some more jets sold over in China, they're
making a deal over there. We're down four point seventy
three yesterday.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
I'm looking forward to looking forward to this weekend.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Then, are we expecting any government or reports or earnings
reports today as we kind of clear out the calendar
on some of these things.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, we're getting to not a whole lot of big
names coming out when it comes to earnings. We have
RBC bearing coming out sign a calif Luna, uh, just
to name a few. On the economic calendar, we have
Empire State Manufacturing Service, so a manufacturing number coming out
today at eight thirty.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
All right, good, idea. We'll keep an eye on that.
Are you going to be out running this weekend?

Speaker 2 (04:34):
I am. The zoo has a race. I'm gonna run
the five k Oh yeah, a little zoo.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Oh. Well good.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
You're not not being chased by any wild animals or anything,
are you?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I hope they keep them in the cages. Red. That's
very fun racing.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
