The Lexington Minutemen (20-3) for the 4th straight year will play for a district title. Lex on Tuesday night beat Ashland, 69-48, at Willard High School in the Division III District Semi-Finals. The Minutemen got nearly a triple -double from junior point guard, Seven Allen, who scored a game-high 21 points, dished out 11 assists and grabbed 7 rebounds. Allen played incredible defense and make it difficult on Arrow ball handlers to bring the ball up the court. Jakob Legron was huge off the bench for Lex, as he drilled 5 three's and added 17 points. Two other Minutemen scored in double figures, as Brayden Fogle had 12 points and 9 rebounds, while Gavin Husty chipped in 10. Ashland (11-11) was led by Gabe Baith and Paxon Ediger, who each had 11 points to lead the way for the Arrows. Lexington will now face Sandusky (16-7) for the district crown on Friday night (6 pm) at Willard High School.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
