The Lucas Cubs won their 2nd straight Division IV District Title on Friday night with a 38-37 win over Norwalk St. Paul.
Cubs senior Ethan Wallace scored the go ahead basket with :18 seconds left in the game, as the win sends Lucas (19-7) to Akron Tuesday and Regional Semi-Finals vs Warren JFK.
Ethan Sauder led the way for Lucas with 11 points, while Andrew Smollen hit 2 huge three's and had 8 points. Andrew Fanello was fantastic on defense in helping slow down Norwalk St. Paul's leading scorer in the 2nd half. (Aired 3/5/21)
