It was just another night at the office for Shelby senior QB Marshall Shepherd, who accounted for 7 TDs in the Whippets 49-14 win at home over Pleasant.
Shepherd, who now has 29 TDs through 5 weeks, threw 6 TD passes, 4 of which were to senior WR Blaine Bowman, and Marshall also ran in a score. One of the TD passes to Bowman went for 97 yards, which is a school record. Shepherd threw for 462 yards. Bowman caught 10 passes for 303 yards. Shelby now 4-1, moves to 2-0 in the MOAC and will play at Marion Harding next Friday. (Aired 9/17/21)
