ABOUT THAT SO-CALLED COLORADO DOGE And I'm going to call it a grift. I saw something on Facebook that purportedly said it was Colorado DOGE and it was asking for money. I clicked through to their fundraising page only to find a BUNCH of words and a donate money, but nothing that said who was behind it and what they were raising money FOR. They called themselves a non-profit, but gave no Tax ID information to indicate they have any sort of actual non-profit status where you can deduct those deductions, which I think is a pretty big omission. I asked on the air last week if anyone new about this and Natalee Tennant has the skinny. She joins me with Todd Watkins on to talk about the latest from the angry group of Republicans bitterly trying to hold onto power rather than actually win a race at 1.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
And if you listened last week, you heard me talk

(00:02):
about this thing that I saw pop up on Facebook,
and it said.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Colorado doge.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
If you want to get to the bottom of spending
in Colorado, and you want to you want to really
see where all the waste froaden abuse is, donate Colorado doge.
But then it didn't really say what you were donating for,
or more importantly, who Colorado doge actually is, or how
they were going to find out about all the waste,

(00:28):
fraud and abuse, because didn't appear that any of them
were elected officials who would have access to this information.
And so immediately my suspicious antenna went up.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And I said, last week, like, let.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Me figure out what this is, because all over the
fundraising plea is we're a nonprofit.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
We're a nonprofit. We're a nonprofit.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But when you click through to their donation page, which
I did, there's absolutely nothing like a tax ID number
or an IRS status that would indicate true non profit
status that would allow you to write off a donation
to this organization, which in my mind, and I could
be the only one, but I don't think I am.
When I see someone advertising a nonprofit, it means hey,

(01:12):
if I donate under them, I could probably take that
off my taxes. It's a big, big thing, right. So
thankfully Cherry Pie from Complete Colorado was listening to the
show Hi Chery, and she said, oh, I know who
knows what's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
And that means she.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Connected me with Natalie Tennant from Never Surrender and joining me. Now,
Natalie Tenant and Todd Watkins, the vice chair of the
Olpaso Republican Party, have joined me to talk about Colorado DOGE. Now, guys,
I want to say this. I just got this text
from a listener that said, Hey, Mandy, Colorado DOGE stands
for cunning, optimist, disguised organization for generating easy money.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
So let's talk about what Colorado DOGE actually is.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Natalie, what do you know about this shadowy organization?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I also.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Wait, Natalie, hang on, Hang on, Natalie, hang on.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Your bandwidth is not very good.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Turn your video off and let's just do the audio
for you so we can see if we can get
a better connection.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Okay, we're very very warbled there for a moment. Hang on,
She's got there. You go.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Okay, Natalie, now tell me what're doing. That's so much better.
Go ahead, Okay, So.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I got a text I believe it was last Thursday
from numerous people were like, did you see this? Look
what Cody LeBlanc is doing. Cody LeBlanc is in Well County.
I'm in Well County, so we're very familiar with each other,
and I mean, he I'll try not to go scrorel here.
But anyways, it was brought to my attention. I started
looking into it. I figured out the website and again

(02:48):
text went crazy. So everybody started looking at tracer if
you see like do they have filings? Well, it appears
that they have filed something. They were also on the
Rhina Watch podcast and they spewed everything that they're doing
with this, so yes, they are going under the guys
of Colorado DOGE. Okay, DOGE stands for Department of Government Efficiency.

(03:10):
They are no part of the government. Okay. I feel
this is very nefarious. So I looked into it and
it is. They've spoke on their little call last night,
which we were going to have a Twitter space due
to a series of unfortunate events that could not happen.
We are thankful to be on with you today, Mandy,
So thank you. This uses nefariousness because they're using the

(03:34):
logo as well, the name Colorado Doge in big letters,
just like you know DOGE actually uses it. And I
just felt it needed to be brought to the attention
of actual DOGE because it's nefarious that they're doing it
under the guys that they're raising money for DOGE and
they're no part of DOGE. So, Cody LeBlanc, if you
want to go do your little nonprofit and whatever. It's

(03:57):
not the first time he's done stuff like this from
what I hear, go do it, but not under the
guise of DOGE. You're misleading the people. You're not a
government entity. And I don't think DOGE fundraisey. I don't
think that's what they do. They're there to just expose corruption.
They're not fundraising and asking people for money. It just reeks.

(04:20):
And then add the lawsuit stuff into it and Todd.
That's why Todd's on with me, because he is on
the lawsuit and he's fully aware of that. Is it
appears to me appears okay, I don't have facts that
the money that was raised over last weekend, which was
just shive two thousand dollars from all anonymous donnors, donors
nobody would even vouch their name on it. Okay, that

(04:41):
they're using this money. Then didn't they file something with
the courts?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Tod, Yes they did, but I have to correct something
first before I get called out as a you know, misrepresenting.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
I'm the former vice chair.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
My apology is, Todd, thank you for the yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
So I will dare to kind of tread to where
Natalie is is being cautious.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
This is Cody LeBlanc in.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Wealth County, like Natalie said, and Eric Grossman, who is
the chairman of the Mineral County GfG. And it appears
that they stood this up as a fundraising money, a
cruel scheme to fund their attempt to join the lawsuit
against me Nancy Plotzi, Christy Burton Brown, Eli Bremer, Kevin McCartney,

(05:40):
and Britta Horn that was begun by Dave Williams, Hope Sheffleman,
and Anna Ferguson, the former officers of the Colorado GOP
who no longer have standing in the case, so they're out.
Enter a man named Matt Arnold, under the auspices of

(06:00):
a investigative committee supposedly stood up by the Colorado GOP
Executive Committee. His motion to join the lawsuit was tossed out,
and within twenty four hours of that judicial ruling, income
Eric Grossman and Cody LeBlanc attempting to join the lawsuit,

(06:21):
also as under their names, not under the moniker of
Colorado Doge.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
But yeah, I'll put one in one together and.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Have the founders.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Yeah they are Colorado Doge.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Well you're telling me that seems like what it's for.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
It's to fund their frivolous lawsuit.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Well, let me ask you, Natalie, because you said they
fundraised over the weekend and they were on some kind
of show or podcast or whatever, and did they say
they were raising money.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
To file this lawsuit?

Speaker 1 (06:52):
So they've been so they're lying on the internet about
what they.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Did last night. On their call too, they said we
had people that run that call to The funniest thing
too is again a series of unfortunate events. I could
not hold that Twitter space x space last night, which
maybe by the grace of God because they were ready
and they said on their little live that they were
going to live stream my x space so they can.

(07:20):
How is it said they get me in a gotcha
moment for spewing my lies. I'm going all of This
is based off of everything they've said, everything they've posted
their website, their posts, their flyers. I've watched what they're
doing and it is a nefarious They have clearly clearly
stated that they are using this against the current GOP leadership.

(07:44):
Also Todd walk In, Dli Bremmer, KBB, Kevin McCarney, all
those listed in that lawsuit that they are using this
for that this is their first attack, Like, come on, Colorado,
are you going to donate to an organization? We've had
enough over the last two years. And you know, we're
called the coup because we questioned Dave Williams and his antics.

(08:05):
You know, current leadership hasn't even been in office for
thirty days barely. I think we're right out about thirty
and they're already bitching, like give it a minute. But
we got Republicans with frivolous lawsuits and law fair again
raising money under the guise of DOGE to attack our
current leadership. So the coup didn't do any of that stuff.

(08:27):
The coup didn't even file lawsuits, which everybody is a hope.
Shepplman is lying on social media and they keep touting
this that the coup filed the lawsuit. They know, they
did not. Todd in them did not file that first lawsuit.
They did not start the law fair the current state
party leadership did. So wait a minute, we're going to

(08:48):
keep on leep it on, I guess.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
So why is the lawsuit still a thing? I mean,
Brenna Horn is now the chairman of the Colorado GOP
and she's suing herself.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Why is that even still a thing?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
So that's there therein is kind of the the twisty,
you know, serpent nature of this.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
True.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
The three who brought the lawsuit, Dave, Hopandana, did so
under as in their official capacity. So essentially it's the
you know, Colorado Republican Party suing.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
The six of us.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Well, one of the six of us is now the
head of the Colorado GOP.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
So they.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Brita and an attorney named Steve Clinda was retained to
represent the party in this matter, dismissing Dave's attorney, Dave Pigot.
There was no objection to that. Emotion was made with
the court to substitute Brita for Dave and Steve Klinda
for Dave Piggott no objections, and they filed a motion

(09:50):
to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice meaning it cannot be
revisited or and those matters cannot.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
Be brought up in a court anymore.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
And along comes Matt Arnold under the auspices of that
investigative committee that I mentioned earlier, So that put a
stop in rulings and a flurry of answers and responses,
and you know, legal briefs regarding his opposition to Steve

(10:21):
Klinda representing the Party Brita dismissing the lawsuit.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
And a couple of other things that I can't remember.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Essentially those are the judge hasn't ruled on a lot
of those, but the judge throughout Matt Arnold participating in
the lawsuits. So you know, I guess by by default,
then all those other motions are now are now moot.
Whether the judge issues a statement as to their mootoness,
I don't know when or if that will come, but

(10:50):
suffice it to say that and joinder or is no
longer at play. And so then along come Toddy LeBlanc
and Eric Grossman to keep this going. So rather than
dismissing this and putting an end to that, I looks

(11:11):
to me like They're just trying to prolong this law
fair and keep us having to retain our attorneys and
there and respond and file briefs to what is ultimately
going to be the same faith they're going to get
tossed out to.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
So now let me ask you this, Natalie, because you
saw the post, and I read the post, But did
I miss the part where they said that the monies
that were going to be raised for Colorado doge We're
going to go finance these lawsuits.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Was that in that post? Because I do not.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Recall seeing that, And if not, then isn't this fraud
that they are perpetrating. We're not saying you're going to
go find waste, fraud and abuse in the state of Colorado,
but we're just going to use it to attack fellow Republicans.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
So this is their first mission, I guess we could
call it. And again, I'm just basing my opinions my
words right now. I watched the Rhino Watch podcast very detailed,
and I went to the playback. I caught some clips
on it. They clearly clearly said that this is what

(12:19):
caused them to build this is this, this was their
first thing They're going after is retribution that the coup
needs to pay the money back.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I these people don't want to win.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
They don't want to win, They don't care about helping
Republicans win elections. They want to burn it all down,
roll over the ash heap, and let Colorado continue to
slide into the ultra progressive left wing state that it is.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
And I don't know how to stop that.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
I don't know how to make these people recognize that
they are doing far more damage than any right I
know that they're worried about by this continued ongoing nonsense
when they have been clearly, you know, rebuked by the
Central Committee who clearly said we don't want you in
charge anymore. So how does this all end?

Speaker 5 (13:14):
Pricked?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
What do we do here? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
You know a lot. I've had a lot of guidance
on this. I'm very vocal online. Call me an activist.
There's a lot of other names out there people have
for me. But I speak truths, and when I see
nefariousness or something doesn't seem right to me, I'm going
to question it. Kind of like our legislators right now.
You know, I love most of them, but hey, there
is a time to hold them accountable. And to hold

(13:40):
people accountable. We voted you in, we can vote you outright.
But this right here is Republicans attacking Republicans and they're
not giving the benefit of the doubt. Brit It not
quite thirty days. Yet she's going to do great things,
you guys, give it a minute. You know, if they
had walked in and got this smooth transition, maybe that

(14:01):
Dave had promised and they didn't. They're gonna lie about
that too, because they lie about everything. They take their
small factions of a truth and beloviate it to their narrative.
So you know, be mad because there was one hundred
thousand dollars in legal fees or whatever the number is
at this point. But the current leadership did not create that.
Todd Watkins did not create that. He called to question

(14:25):
the actions of the chair and what the actions of
what he was doing. There were other people that jumped
on board with this. I supported this one hundred percent
from the beginning, and I wouldn't change anything. I would
do it all over again. Timing was horrible. But now
they're mad because they lost. They don't have control anymore,
and oh they're gonna come get us a gotcha moment,
they're gonna get a gotcha moment. Enough of the law, fair,

(14:47):
Let's put boots on the ground and do the work.
Let's grow the party, Let's get Republicans elected. Be pissed
all you want. You know, we're still pissed about some
stuff too, but we're not acting a fool. We're just
gonna I'm going to speak truth all the time, Mandy,
and if it puts a big target over me, that's fine,
I'll take it.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Well, it's kind of sad because you know, there are
people who really believe that they're going to donate money
and they're going to find waste, fraud and abuse in Colorado.
And I think it's a very interesting positioning that they're using.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
And it seems I meant.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
It seems like fraud to me, like actual illegal definition
of fraud. When you say we're going to find waste,
fraud and abuse in Colorado's government and then you redirect
that money to continue your personal grievance as a part
of inner party bickering that I don't know how that's
my fraud.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
I've given this out to a lot of people, Mandy,
just know this. I've connected with people, I've spoke with
Electeds and I said, look, this is not a good look. Again.
If Cody LeBlanc wants to go create some nonprofit called
blah blah blah, call it blah blah blah, then call
it what it is. You are not Colorado Doge. You're

(15:58):
not raising money under Doge.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Stop it.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Go do your I'll keep my words clean Hereians, fine,
do your shenanigans and we'll come back that if we
need to. But this isn't healthy for the party. Man,
this isn't healthy at all. It's and it has It's
nothing like what happened last year. This is we didn't
come swinging out. Todd didn't come swinging out with lawsuits

(16:22):
like we're gonna sue you. He just wanted a damn
meeting held. And if they had just held that damn
meeting within the time called, they would have won. It
would have been over. No lawsuits would have happened. They
don't see it that way. They can't see the truth
and logic of it, of what actually would have happened.
But no, they had to come in with a frivolous
lawsuit and here we are they should have to pay.

(16:42):
But no, it's ridiculous. It's intense, it's insane, it's mental,
it's a lot of things, and I'm not standing for it.
So I hope this gets to the DOGE people, the
actual Doage people, and they see because I'm gonna tell
you right now, they're also using the Sheba you know,
dog logo. I think some people should look in that.
Can they use that? I don't think so. Well.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
They put a C around it to make it look
Colorado does. And I just found their actual website, which
by the way, I did not share on my blog
today because I don't want to encourage anyone to go
to this website. But it does say support efforts like
the Colorado Republican Party Controversy Investigative Committee, which by the way,
has been completely disbanded.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Is there saying anymore which.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Is uncovering serious internal violations?

Speaker 4 (17:27):
Well more than that, Mandy, it's been dissolved, and Matt
Arnold thinks it can't be dissolved. He's decided that he
has some sort of you know, divine immortality bestowed upon
him by Dave Williams, who's no longer the chair of
the party. But Britta dissolved that committee, which she has

(17:48):
the authority to do according to the state, the party's bylaws.
And now we have a judge essentially, you know, footstomping
that decision saying yeah, you're subordinate to the executive Committee,
to the Colorado Republican Committee, and you do not have
the authority to act independently on your own. So you're

(18:09):
not immortal and you're not omnipotent. But you brought up earlier,
you know, the idea that this doge is Colorado Doge
represented some sort of fraud, And I would offer this
the G in DOGE stands for government department or government efficiency.
They're not doing anything with government efficiency, they're looking at
party efficiency.

Speaker 5 (18:28):
So would it be more.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Appropriate for them to name the Colorado dope the ope?

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Leave it to Todd, you know what.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
That is like, keep coming around exactly.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
There you go, Todd Watkins and Natalie Tennant. I appreciate
you coming on today. I hope you saved some of
my listeners some of their own money from donating to
something that they think is going to do one thing
when it's going to do something entirely differently. Just to
let you guys know, I'm going to email Cody right
now and invite him to come on the show and
explain himself, so I will all let him.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Yeah, send your regards, but I'll give them a chance to.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Explain why they're not just grifting by using doge when
that's not what they're doing at all. I mean, this
is such a bag and switch it's not even funny. Guys,
Thanks for making time for me today.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
This is every time I think we're going to be
able to move.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Forward right because there are huge and pressing issues in
this state where I believe that the Republican Party has
the better answer for the problems that this state of
Colorado has right now, and we can't even have a
discussion about those answers because we're mired in crap like this.
So let's just shine light on crap like this in

(19:38):
the hopes that little turd will dry up and blow away.
Todd Watkins and Natalie Tennant, I appreciate your time today, guys.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Thanks Mandy for having us an all right, have an
awesome day.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
That is, Todd and Natalie, Oh my goodness, gracious, I'm
sending an email right now inviting these people on the
show to explain why what they're doing is not a
grift when clearly it appears to be a gryft.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
In my opinion,
