(00:00):
Our friend of the show and afriend two children everywhere gaze against groomers.
Rich Googenheim, welcome back, myfriend, hey manby glad to be with
you again. I am very excitedabout what we're going to talk about today.
I am super excited. Tell meabout some valid initiatives that voters in
Colorado are going to have a chanceto vote on this fall. Oh Man,

(00:22):
you and I both are excited. We found out last Friday night from
the Colorado Supreme Court that we hadbeen given the green light to start gathering
signatures on two valid initiatives. Petitionme two hundred thousand signatures by August third.
And these two ballad initiatives are oneto protect parents right so that if

(00:43):
a child discloses at school that theyare dealing with gender incongruence, that the
parents would be notified. This isreally about transparency and building trust between the
school and the parents, because that'swhat it's about. And ironically enough,
it is the Colorado PTA who isopposing this, inciting us on this.
And then the other ballot initiative, one sixty is to protect girls sports in

(01:07):
Colorado so that only girls, biologicalgirls will have the opportunity to play on
girl sports teams. Rich I saidthis earlier. The fact that we would
even need either of these things tenyears ago would have seemed absurd, and
yet here we are. Here weare, And here's what's really interesting is

(01:30):
the way the left in the mediais flandering these initiatives, especially the girls'
sports initiatives. They're trying to saythat this is transphobic and that it's based
off of hate. And let's letme just make sure that people understand that
as a gay man, I believethat inclusivity means that girls have the opportunity

(01:53):
to compete in a safe and fairmanner. Anything short of that is not
inclusive. And I believe that despitethe smear campaign by the last and the
media, the mainstream media, thatthe Colorado voters are smart enough to feed
through that. I hope so,because this is one of those things that
should not be political. It shouldnot be political to say if a child

(02:15):
is having a struggle that can leadthem down a path that can lead to
lifetime impacts, then parents need toknow about it, right. I mean,
if you knew that a kid wassmoking crystal meth in the bathroom the
first thing you would do is callparents. We would not even think about
that because this is something that isso dramatic and could you know, kills

(02:36):
the kid, but yet something thatcan lead a child to believe that a
lifetime of medical intervention is the onlyway it is considered something that needs to
be kept from parents. I findthat appalling, Absolutely appalling. Is the
politics of it is interesting, Mandy. This last Friday, I was speaking
to and he's at an event toa group of Republicans up in Gunnison,

(02:58):
and I had a gentleman who isa very conservative gentleman just start to try
to tell me what it is thatHe's like, well, I let me
tell you what I believe. AndI told him, I'm like, well,
let me before you even start tellingme what I believe. You're free
to believe whatever you believe in,and I'm going to tell you the same
thing that I tell the transgender community, and I'm telling the vegan believe whatever
you want. But you don't havethe right to impose those value on anybody

(03:19):
else. I don't care if you'rea Christian, I don't care if you're
trance. I don't care if you'rea vegan. You believe what you want,
but you don't get to impose thoseon anybody else. And he refused
to sign my petitions to protect womenin his community and protect the children in
his community because he disagreed with myquote lifestyle. And I'm not, I
am not, I'm not mad aboutthat. I don't care what people think

(03:42):
about my life. That's not onthe ballot. Rich That's so absurd because
you know, we're not even talkingabout it in the case of protecting girls
who want to play sports and don'twant to have to play against someone who
has gone through mail puberty and hasa biological dantage built in. Okay,
So that has nothing to do withgay, transgender whatever the second bill,

(04:05):
although it appears to be a transgenderissue, this is a parental rights issue.
It doesn't matter, you know,if kids are smoking pot at school
or they think they're transgender. Parentsmust know. And the notion that somehow
all parents are evil and would respondpoorly and abuse their child who was having

(04:28):
gender dysmorphia or gender incongruence as youguys defined as a matter of fact,
define gender incongruence, because I thinkthat's important. Let's talk about that.
That what is that what is thatdefinition that really is just telling that is
just itself. It basically means thatyou're not feeling like you're aligning with your
biological body. And so this isn'tabout being transgender. I mean you have

(04:51):
heard and talked about the issue ofthese children who don't even identify as the
same species anymore. Oh yeah, cats and dogs, and yeah, that
was what else turning around in schoolsnowadays. But that's what this comes down
to. Any kind of gender andkongruence, anything like that will be notified
to the parents. And this isabout building back that relationship of trust between

(05:14):
schools, teachers, administrators, andparents that should exist. And it is
inappropriate for gone Fritz and the ColoradoPTA to be undermining that relationship between our
schools, our public institutions, andparents. How are they demagoguing against this?
What are they saying. I'm surethey're saying this anti trans bill.

(05:34):
I'm sure that's it, right,Yeah, that's it. And they're trying
to paint that what they're doing istaking a stance that is pro LGBTQ,
and that is the opposite of whatthey're doing. This type of stuff is
harmful to LGBTQ people, because whatyou do is you keep secrets from parents.
You create a system that is notthat erodes that trust not only between

(05:56):
the school and the parents, butbetween the child and the parents, and
that leads to an increase and suicideand depression because now they don't feel like
they can be state at home andthey're leading a double life that is not
okay. And you're absolutely right aboutthat. Now, I want to ask
a question, how can people gettheir hands on petitions if they either want
to gather signatures themselves or they wantto make sure they sign one, because

(06:19):
two hundred thousand signatures is a lot. So what is that process? How
can people get to petitions if theywant to share them with the organizations that
they belong to or talk to theirneighbors to get petition signed. How can
they do that? Well, thefirst thing is go to Protect Kids Colorado
dot org and you can sign upif you're in the Denver area. We're

(06:42):
going to be at the Denver FederalCourthouse on the fourteenth. We're having a
rally for capacap Gamma Girls, andthen we're also going to be at the
Capitol that afternoon. We're going tohave petition drop off points across the state.
I'm currently down at my parents' housein the Durango area, and so
we're going to have these events aroundthe state tonight. In fact, if

(07:02):
you're in the Durango area, Idon't think there's too many people that can
hear us over here, but I'mthinking at the GOP event in Laplatta County
we'll have stuff here. I'm travelingthe state. I'm hitting sixty four counties
in the next sixty four days becausewe have ninety days to get two hundred
thousand signatures. If you want tohelp be a petition carrier, if you
want to sign that petition, goto Protect Kids Colorado dot org. Sign

(07:25):
up. And also if you candonate, that helps, because you know,
we're doing this all volunteer, butit still costs a lot of money
to print all of those petitions.Well, I'm presently signing up right now
to do this, so let's see, there we go. I am now
signed up at Protect Kids Colorado dotcom. You just said you're having a

(07:46):
rally for the Kappa Kapagama Girls. Those are the girls in Wyoming that their
chapter decided to admit a biological malewho I understand now walks around the sorority
house with an alert member. Let'sjust put it that way on the radio,
staring at the boobs of the othergirls, and now they're trying to
switch that. Is that correct? That's correct. It's my understanding that they

(08:09):
actually didn't voluntarily welcome him in.They were a force to do those That's
what I'm saying, that the nationalchapter forced them to do it, and
now they're fighting it, and Ijust this kind of stuff is it's beyond
the pale. You guys. Womendeserve to have safe spaces and this that's
what this Vaalid initiative will do.This prioritization of the feelings of a tiny

(08:31):
fraction of men who have decided thatthey are now women is appalling. And
I've said it so many times. This is the ultimate flex of the patriarchy.
This is it. This is thelast stand where men are again placing
their own desires and needs over allother women. And I'm just I'm done.
I'm done pretending like in any way, shape or case, this is

(08:52):
not okay. It's just it's notokay in any way, shape or form.
Rich. I so appreciate everything you'redoing. I would urge people to
go to protect Kids Colorado dot com. I will be tweeting that out and
sending it out via Facebook and encouragingpeople to get their own petitions because one
of the things people need to knowabout a constitutional amendment petition has to be
collected from every district in the state. Right, is it every congressional district,

(09:18):
every every state Senate district? Okay, that's why we're hitting the road.
And it's or by the way,so oh it's oh, it's Org.
Wait a minute, is it Orgerdot com? It's dot org all
right, Oh it is. That'swhy I didn't come up when I put
dot com anyway, protect kids Coloradodot org. And you can go ahead
and start helping collect signatures. Ijust got this text message rich and I

(09:41):
want to share it with you beforewe go. This is I have wait
a minute, hang on, Ihave two daughters. I don't want them
competing against boys. I am leftleaning. There's no reasonable argument that can
be made that boys should be competingin girls' sports. This is a real
issue for me. Thank this man, So thanks to you and all of
the people working behind the scenes tomake this happen. Yeah, it's not

(10:03):
left versus right, this is rightversus wrong. Yeah. Amen to that.
Rich Gugenheim, tell your dad,I said, Hill, I'll talk
to you later. Bye bye,we'll be right back.
