do you face the shower, We've talked about if you
do so poor body wash, We've talked about do you forget.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
That you've watched you that was me?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Yeah, totally ultra Okay, I want to know now, this
is something that I certainly have. I would say, never
have done put music on or played a video to
watch whilst I'm in the shower. Video weird like the
YouTube clip. No, never put music on at all.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Ever.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
No, it's not a celebration. It's a cleanse, get out
and go. You got too much time on your hands.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Sometimes gives you the books. But yeah, back in the day,
I used to listen to two songs and they would
last my shower and have a quick shave before I
head out.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Sangon. You would actually have to line it up when
your day, would have to get the cassette tape to
the right bit to have, like I'd have nineteen sixty
four Way to Go.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I've had like five songs, but it don't take me
two songs. Like I'd record like five songs on a
blank tape. How you dubbed them next to each other? Yeah,
and then just chucked it in and then preparation for
the shower is gettings on the cassette player, go on
right temperature and then a press play jump in the shower.
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
What was the song?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
First song was by Big Mountain, Well baby, I love
you way? Are you singing it for yourself? Into the
shampoo bottle? Just having a just listening to it washing
and then I come out and have a shave and
then I play The next song after that would be
PM DRMS set a drift on memory.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Yeah you got a type?

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Did you do the wrap?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Breakdown? Work for words?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Why are you shaving?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Cut yourself for a bit? Longsided?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
This is like an actual like a couple.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I have a couple of drinks. I'd have a shower drink,
I drink outside and then bang them out and then
my mates to come pick me up and let's go.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Down on the town. Don't you have to have the
music real loud to hear it over the shower.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I don't have to have it that loud. You can
have it like it. You don't have to blast it.
My kids do they have?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
So?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Your kids actually take speakers into that they take the
little full boombox, Yeah, boombox and Bang play it.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
But how long are they in there for? Like seriously
enough for me to jump in the shower and turn
into an ice cube?

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Wow? Yeah, all right, we're going to know music in
the shower. Is that a yes or a no?

Speaker 4 (02:38):

listen to music in the shower?

Speaker 3 (03:41):

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Normally it's likely in the mood, slow, nice and kill yes,
and then it would just be while I was drinking,
ready to go out, pregaming. But now it's literally the
hardcore stuff, so I can drown out my children and show.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
How hard too are we going.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
I'm talking about the top level, the highest notes. I
don't care what it is if it drowns out my
children noises and I get to have a shower for
an extra five minutes with it. I also want to say, noisy, Yes,

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
