I know this son's a weird one. Last week we
were talking to a mum. She had a baby in
the back seat. When we're trying to have a conversation
with her. The bub was just crying and cannon like
a pork chop. But I after we finished talking to her,
we have the headphones off and I'm noisy, do you
miss babies crying? Because I do? And Moira said.

No, like quite emphatically.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
There was a couple of words before no.

But I heard the baby crying on going way, I
do miss that sometimes I'm not getting lucky. I think
it's probably too late anyway, Yeah, because it's only dust.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Where is everybody leaving scott Because you hear babies across
the road, like in my neighborhood, and you're going, oh.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah, I mean there's there's a joy factor that it's
not your kids. Yeah, such a joy honest.

But I have left many places because it does my
head in so badly.

Like I was even a doctor's surgery and there was
a woman with three kids and all of them were crying,
and I said, do you want my appointment? I was
there early, and I just thought you can have my appointment,
sounding like I was really I just wanted her out
of my face and out of my ears.

Then I go on to an airplane. You hear them crying,
but then I put my headphones on.

Yeah.

I mean that's the beauty of it is that you
can control the crying by ignoring it.

Yeah, not your trial, but sometimes I hear and I go,
I do miss that sometimes.

it just me?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Do you miss when your babies because I remember when
the boys were crying when they were little, and you
just pick them up and give my hug, make everything better.
I do miss that.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Time, that feeling wanted thing, feeling wanted without being asked
to buy them some Yeah, feeling relevant wanted, not just
oh I don't know a bank.

That was fun. Those years were fun. If you miss.

Babies crying.

And we still have tears at home only for me, no,
we usually, but there is there is a lovely thing
of comforting your child. Yes, I like it better when
they can talk and tell me what's wrong. Yeah, because
I do think when you don't know what's wrong with
your child and they're screaming or having a tantrum. It's
incredibly frustrating as my eye rolls back into my head.
