Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I heard this story this morning about a pilot
United Airlines leaving Los Angeles and flying to China.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
It was a big one. It was a seven eight
to seven worrying from LA.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
They had to turn around over the weekend because it
was discovered that one of the pilots had taken off
without his passport. So they left LAX at two o'clock
on Saturday. They had two hunred and fifty seven passengers
on board, thirteen crew as well, headed northwest over the
(00:31):
Pacific Ocean down for Shanghai. About two hours later, the
plane turned around, headed to San Francisco, landed about five pm,
and because he didn't have his passport, they had to
change the entire crew to find the crew, changed the
entire crew, and they.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Said that there was technical problems. The crew technical problems.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
And what they had to do was then put everyone
back on the plane and then send them across.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Because he forgot his passport.
Speaker 3 (01:02):
Couldn't he just fly the plane, touchdown, to stay in
the plane, to get out and then fly back.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
No, because he's technically.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah, but they're not allowed to work again without enough
of a gap, so you can't stay on the plane.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I'll get off of it, like that movie you saw
with the island and the plane and stuff where they
camped down on the What was that movie that you
watched for streamers digest?
Speaker 2 (01:24):
It was really really bad. I actually watched it as well.
Probably most things things.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Oh I thought he'd be able to that's just suck.
So yeah, well, yeah, we're traveling. There was a few
of us, probably five of us from here, and we
were heading to Melbourne and was a boy strip. We
all met here and then we got in the car
like a cab to drive to the airport and Brisbane Airport.
Halfway down the track, well not a half half an
(01:53):
hour down the track. My mate said, I forgot my wallet.
It's on the bench at your house. And we went.
Of course she did, of course she did. We nearly
got him to get out and go back and then
just meet us there, but we had to turn the
cab around. Oh my god, did he when we got there. Wow, lucky.
We left a lot of time before we got there.
But it's just that because we're all on that mood.
(02:13):
And then he was just turn.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
When do you reckon? He realized? Do you reckon?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
He realized at that moment or was he gearing himself
up to say it.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
He was giving himself up, when's the next exit and
looking at his finger. Okay, this makes me a good pars.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Now I'm I'm gonna have to say it. Now, come on.
Speaker 3 (02:33):

Speaker 2 (02:35):
We want to know what was the worst thing that
you had to go back for.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Eli was one of them. We left him on a table.
He was a newborn, like he was fairly fresh.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
At a restaurant.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
No, no, at home?
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Cool?
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yeah, because we got there and he was asleep, so
he was in the basinet and we put him on
the table because we got home and then we had
to go and pick up Jackson, and we just kind
of left like, oh, that's right, we just had another child.
