Speaker 1 (00:00):
My dream holiday I've discussed this with and my wife
is to jump on a plane with the clothes on
your back and you've got your bag that you just
sit with your passport and like, if you had the money,
just pick anywhere you want and then just travel there
and then you know, collect clothes and the suitcase so

(00:22):
as you go along. I reckon that would be an
amazing trip.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
So sorry, there's there's there's not people who plan.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
I mean that's the only person that there is.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
No You just get on a plane.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Where are you going? We could go, it's going to
take you well, I don't know, get your medication.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
When are you going to be back?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
How much money do I? I don't know what kind
of currency? Well he's got the dog. Where are the kids?

Speaker 4 (00:45):
We don't have a dog.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
The kids are the toilet.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
You can go to toilet.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
So you just get on there. You get a dart,
what you throw it onto a world map? Hopefully it
doesn't land in the ocean, but then you go to
that place and then you just wing it.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Clearly you're still living off a million dollars.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
You went back?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
I wish, but wouldn't you wouldn't you be exciting to
do spontaneous. No, I reckon that'd be fantastic. That's how
I planned most of my trips I go because I
always planned last minute.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
This is something I have noticed about you.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
You will say, say, for examples, Southwest Roxy go and
see and the family goes there every year. Yeah, we
always say to you, okay, so you booked everything as
everything done, And it's like, oh yeah, you never do,
even when you go away on places you don't Actually
you never.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Don't you understand we didn't you the last place you flew,
didn't you book it like a day before.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Didn't you have to go into Sydney for something? You
booked it like literally the night before.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Now, I booked that the night before and got down
there and then I planned out the hotel and the
car the night before and it worked out fine. But
then I'd like to plan a holiday out that way
that you'll go somewhere with Breezy.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
And the ball.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
We land there, what are we going to do? We'll
try and find someplace to go.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Oh no, the amazing race, mate, Life's not the amazing
race Okay, it's not. Don't forget your teeth brush. It's
not any of those games brushes.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I reckon that'd be great, and then you spend time
together trailer or we should go this way or we
go that way.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
That's how this is really going to do. Hear, this
is how we found our house.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
We were driving around for about a month, just trying
to find different places, going to houses, and then we decided.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
One day Internet not around at this stage.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah, Internet out.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
But then we decided one day we got up at
eight o'clock in the morning and went for a drive
and just drove around different suburbs and tried to find
houses out with her sale, and then came across our
house and.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
They drove around until you found, yeah, a house for sale.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
When did you buy your house?

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Two thousand and five?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Okay, so the internet wasn't that big back then.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Internet cafes, Oh yeah, but that's how i'd like to
you're a planing mois.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
You like to go strictly. Good point.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
We have twenty seven diaries in front of me and
journals and everything else.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Everything.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
You need to have a plan for everything. You need
to know what's happening the next day.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
But if you're going to say Paris, the place that
you always want to go.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Yes, Would you plan out where.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
You want to go? Absolutely? I'd be like, okay, this
one day, I will do this, This next day, I
will do this.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
But what if that doesn't line up?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Do you just to line up? Of course it's going
to line up. No, what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Say that you wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower. Yes,
and it was closed when it moved.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
It was closed. It's closed.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
A meltdown, total melt down middle of Paris, me crying.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
You're holding onto the Eiffel Tower trying to avoid the
guy with guns at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Would you have a plan B or that would be
the only plan you'd have.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
No, I'd have several plans.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yes, But then if that was closed, you'd have somewhere else.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
That's not the same as winging.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
It though, that's not winging it.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Joanne, what are you.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
Trev I'm with you good.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Now.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
I feel like everybody picks on you on this station.
I feel like your ideas are great.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
When you did it overseas, we just you go to
a market, they say go here, and then you go
there and it takes you on a totally different road,
a totally different adventure. Sometimes planning doesn't always work Moisy, Okay.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
All right, when did you do this?

Speaker 6 (04:25):
I did this twice in the eighties and the nineties
a long time ago, around Europe, around Europe, around Europe
for thirteen months, we.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Just windedg Was it fun not knowing where you're going?

Speaker 6 (04:39):
Yeah, it was great because all the locals say, go here,
this is a great spot that the trust attractions don't have. Yeah,
we go there and it just opens up a totally
different world for you, and it takes you on another
tree branch, another road, and.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
You wake up without your kidneys.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
That's why you're fine. Thank you.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Joe Kylie from Backpines. Are your winner? Or are you
a planner?

Speaker 7 (05:04):
Planners and through?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Okay, take me through it.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
Ex military. Everything's down to the world.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
Yeah, So it means that you have to make sure
that you travel, and that means charges you even take
a powerboard with you because you just don't know where
you're going to be able to get to your PowerPoint.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
You know, everything that's beautiful.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
What do you think of people like Trevor?

Speaker 7 (05:28):
It's best not to say things that are enough.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Oh, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
These guys, don't hold back over it.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
Even needs to get that card game where you draw
out a card and it takes you to your next
destination and you can go shopping at the shop or something.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
That's that's for him.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
That sounds great. Where's that game?

Speaker 7 (05:48):
I don't know where it is, but we don't want
to play it.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
You and I know we'll be just running to find
that game, Kylie, send it to you. Thanks Kylie Kelly
from Upper Cam planner or winger?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
What are you?

Speaker 5 (06:02):
I am with you, Big Trevor. I would much rather
wing it?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Yes, how good is that? Not knowing?

Speaker 5 (06:09):
I did a Europe trip when I finished high school.
Left the day after schools. All I had was a
train ticket when I got over there, and I would
just go north to South it was too cold, I'd
head back down South Italy, just traveled wherever I wanted
a holiday. Ever, Oh my god, you tried to book
to go to a wedding in Tasmania and it got
canceled five times, like they kept canceling the flight over

(06:31):
and over and over again. Yeah, and it caused me
so much stress. I ended up having a panic attack
in the airport because I canceled my flight the day
of the wedding. Oh so I would much rather wing
it and not have the stress and expectation and rely
on other people and just go with whatever it is.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
That sounds fantastic, that's good for you

Speaker 1 (06:51):
That's hot to night studios in Southport, please is Moira
