Speaker 1 (00:01):
Got a lift time with Moira and.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
It is an amazing time in our lives when we
get to talk to someone very famous. He's a freestyle
rap phenomenon, Harry Mack. He's making his first ever trip
down Under with the Odyssey Tour, delivering a unique live
shows across Australa and New Zealand. Ladies and gentlemen, Harry Mack.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Yeah, yeah, yay, Hello, Hello, what's going on you guys.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
It's very cool to talk to you. We've watched you
for so many years on YouTube, on all of all
online and to have you on the phone, he's an
absolute pleasure. So thank you for taking time to talk
to us.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Oh no, thank you for having me and I appreciate
the support. Thank you guys for watching the videos and
bringing me on your show.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah no, it's amazing. I remember seeing your videos on
TikTok and a magel and the way that people just
give you three words and you just blast out this
rap is phenomenal.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Oh, thank you so much, Thank you so much. I
appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Does your brain work in rap all the time or
do you have like normal language like the rest of us,
or are you constantly even if you're thinking about your
shopping lists. Are you like rhyming the whole time?

Speaker 1 (01:17):
That's a great question. I do sometimes think in normal language, luckily,
or I would probably go in shame. But it is
true that, like if I start freestyling and any points
throughout my day, then the rest of the day there's
kind of like at least a vague rap going on
in the back of my mind, Like while I'm washing
the dishes, I'm doing raps about the soap, you know,

(01:39):
and things of that nature. So yeah, once I turn
it on, it's hard to turn it off.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
You said that you get a lot of influences from
a lot of people, like from jay Z to De
La Soul. Have you ever crossed paths with people that
influenced you in your career?

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Yeah, definitely. Yeah, I've been fortunate to meet some people
that I look up to. I got to do a
freestyle for Joey Badass, I got to meet and do
a freestyle for Andrew Lamar. So you know, I've been
really fortunate in that sense to meet some of my
heroes in the game, and hopefully I can continue to
meet more as time goes on.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
I've just realized that this is your first show in Australia.
I'm wondering if Australian audiences are going to shock the
pants off you with the words that we actually offer up.
I think it's going to be very different.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Yeah, I definitely think so. Like I'm curious if I'll
be completely stumped by maybe some of the local slang.
I might have to ask somebody to define what these
words mean. You're going to see if you can rhyme
anything with veggimid.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Well, actually, I've just realized in this chat there's been
a couple of things that we've said that Harry probably
doesn't even understand, like stoked and all that kind of stuff,
that the Australian language is so different, and I've just
I really hope people are gentle.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
I don't well, stoked actually made it over to the US,
so that one I'm good with, but I'm sure there
will be others that will completely completely baffle me. So,
you know, but I don't want them to go gentle.
I want them to go hard. I want them to
try to stump me up the front of the game.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
All right, We've actually come up with a few things
that if you've got if you've got the energy. If
you feel that, you know, you feel like you can
do it, we want you to try to. These are
words that mean a lot to our audience here on
the Gold Coast, so to you, we will give you
an explanation of them as well. So we work for
radio station Hot Tomato. So that's the radio station name
that we would like you to somehow incorporate into a rap.

(03:28):
Then we've got Gold Coast, of course, that's where we are.
We've got Big keV. Now Big Trev is the guy
who you're talking to, but people sometimes call him Big keV,
which always makes us laugh. He was also a personality
on the Gold Coast who used to sell cleaning products,
which is just a bizarre story.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
But he was white and I'm Fijian.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
Wow, okay, I know, I don't know I got that one.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
So your actual name is Big Trev, yes, but you're
often mistakenly called Big keV. And Big keV is a
real person. They used to sell cleaning products.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
He won, he was passed away.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
But what.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah, yeah, all right, I don't think you'll be able
to find a word to rhyme with. Moira, which is
my name.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I love it Moira.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yep, and then the other one we've got is Big
Brother for you as well. Now, Big Brother was a
massive two thousand and four show here in Australia. The
Big Trev who you are talking to, one a million
dollars on that reality TV show of course, everyone living
in a house.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
No way, that's amazing. Yeah, Big TV you won, you
won the mill.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Yeah, that's incredible.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Okay, these are awesome suggestions. Let me make sure I
got them. Don't remind me unless I asked. We're gonna
go with Hot Tomato, which is the name of your
radio station. We're gonna go with Gold Coast, which is
where I'll be performing tonight where I'm at currently. We're
gonna go with Big keV, which is not the name
of the and I'm talking to. It's actually Big Trevy
recipes to Big tab Yeah, a cleaning product sales person.

(05:05):
We're gonna go with Moira, which is maybe unrhymable. And
then last to night leave, we are going to go
with Big Brother, right, which is the name of the
show that Big Trap actually one million dollars on All right,
I think I'm ready?

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Should I drop this? All? Right?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Here we go, y'all, Let's get it.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, yeah, okay, come on yeah yeah one so wan
so uh yes one till one to said, I'm coming
enough to met to with the rob Rode though.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
I'm blessed to be rocking here on hot tomorrow. Though
y'all know I got them crazy flows that they're amazing.
I'm live on the radio station. Every time I sit,
I got to deep in the zone. I'm not really
on the station, but I'm here on the phone. We
connected Mack could be fitting the hard stuff connected through
my phone, so I'm keeping them bars up. Y'all know
the jill we get about to work with the freeze,

(05:57):
I'm tapping him with y'all virtually. I'm gonna break it
down to have a microphones just what I hold most.
And I'm shining right when I'm rhyming on the gold coat. Yeah,
I said, I've never been no fail you. I had
to bring my tour out here to Australia bringing the
thunder no mistakes, and I never blunder when I'm ticking
free styles down under dope rhymes. Y'all know woman's slang
a few because my lips is in the pocket like

(06:19):
a cane or rule. I make you holler the free
style scholars. Matter of fact, the instrumentals get juice like
a dwala. I break it down every time I'm doing
my thing. They said, mag are you gonna understand Australian slang? Well,
I don't know, but I truly hope. I mean luckily.
In the US we say soap. But there's plenty of
words that y'all might bring onto which I'm made find

(06:39):
a difficult to clan. I'm gonna break it down for
ever when I flow up the head and I gotta
say rest in piece of big pans. Hey, y'all know
that we never been faked. When they called trap bat,
it's truly a mistake. Yeah, I'm coming off the top
shining and beaming with rost stuff. Big Cab was slanging
cleaning project. Well, I say, Libric's got a sparkling yeah,
whag reference. That's why I be targeting. I'll be coming

(07:01):
off the top of this with liberty destroy. Yeah, yo,
I think I just run the work with Moira. I
beat to win Medium's hospital. I'm putting all competition in
the hospital. Shoal upright the flow. When Finn this dog
I got to go, I'm chopped and foats are they
better not? No, mo, I'm approval of the greatest one.
I come right off the tip of this the way
y'all do my friends. Man, y'all know that it's ridiculous. Yeah,

(07:22):
I'm really making your holler. I'm trying to win Big
Brother and get a million dollars. And I said, I
gotta do it like Big Trap. I don't write it,
I recited off the top of the head. And y'all
know when not be sitting and I be rocket for sure.
Come and see me get Gold Coast the Odyssey Tour.
Let's yea holy crap. That was amazing. That was brilliant.
