Speaker 1 (00:00):
Remember last week where I told you that I got
sworn out by a driver because I forgot to put
my indicator on, probably a little bit.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It wasn't long enough for him.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Had many colorful words to say, some of them which
ended with head. Was really nice of him, the amount
of times he said it to me. I did the
same thing to someone else today.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Did you swear?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I didn't swear, I'm an angel?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
You swi?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
They no hand gestures?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, there were hand gestures. Helen's vail. I find very
difficult to drive through without finding other people who struggle
to drive for these people.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I don't look for these people. I don't feel as
though I do.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
But today I was trying to get from a like
a park spot where I dropped one of the boys off,
and I was trying to get back into traffic, and
I just sat there with my indicator on, and I thought, okay,
just leave it on, Just leave it on.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
No one stopped, no one, No one slowed down with
my indicator.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
On traffic going too fast. Did you screechat a little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I screeched out a little bit, and they just kept
on coming.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
A little bit more, a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
And then I got into the far lane and then
this big black truck just went in front of me,
to which that's where my astoundment was expressed through my mouth. Yep,
you started with you very fast, and you have a
very large truck.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
You could put me in your boot.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I could be in your boot with the way you drive.
So it's been a week of road rage in Helen's
value for me. So I want to know the Battle
of the burbs? All right, gold Co Suburbs.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Which suburb do you think has the worst drivers?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Like I said before, from Varsity all the way up to.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Every suburb, well, it.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Was usually it was the suburbs.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I was just traveling along and as I was traveling
on that's coming into work, there's one car that had
to either get in front of me or just wanted to.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Beat me wherever I was going.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Yeah, I was like going, I have no idea what's
happening here, So I'd like move over or I'd slow down,
and they just try and scooch on in front of us.
They were in a little white Audi, but they had
it in for me, like they were just in a
race and they had to beat my car for some reason.
And then when I did pass them and they were
stack behind a car.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I was like and then kept driving all.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Right, So maybe it's Beanora has the worst driver.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
That's wherever I'm driving, Okay, wherever you are, all right,
Darren Battle of ther Where is the worst drivers of
the old cars?

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Run Away?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
No one uses their indicators?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Run Away? Is that on a Saturday near the soccer.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Club every day?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
And I think where I lived run Away over? I
think big trouble with the years ago?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Did I run away by? I don't you've ever lived
in Runaway? I think maybe are you talking about Big
keV or Big tread? I think it was the guy,
the cleaning guy.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Yeah, we get mistaken a lot.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Never seen in the same room at the same time
because he's dead.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Christine from Surfer's Paradise. Are worst drivers? Which suburb the
whole of the gold yet got it.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
For every suburb okay.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
All of the gold cases.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
I'm a new the driver originally from Victoria, and I
still cannot get over how bad the drivers are.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
What's their worst traits? Like, what's their thing consistent? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I know one indicates here?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Okay, they don't know how to merge, they don't indicate,
and they don't know how to do really bad driver.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Now I'm with you there, Christine. Some people just don't
know how to merge. I don't know what it is
with that word, but yet it's called merging for a reason.
And indicators. It's like they were they weren't put on
the car.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Tracy from Madriba. What is the suburb with the worst
drivers on the Gold Coast?

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Well, I think it's Ashmore. A couple of blocks before
and then that main intersection at Ashmore is an Ashmore
and then a couple of blocks pass when you're going
to Hodder.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Oh, okay, round Bundle Road.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Yeah maybe that's Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Like
people just they are forever changing lanes trying to get ahead.
It is like, just make your peace with the fact
that that's a really congestive spot and you're not going
to get anywhere, like two spots forward, five spots backs,
and like even this afternoon, someone at that main intersection

(04:39):
tooled out from the middle lane in front of me,
didn't get into the turning lanes to ten left, so
I almost had an accident. So but it's most mornings,
most afternoons, I'm just watching it play out in front
of me.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, lucky you were a safe driver. Tracy, You and
Pature for the driver on Monday TU night ho tomornight
