to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who says a
potential hostage deal could be finalized early this week. Rubio
confirmed that HERMAS has basically agreed to the framework proposed

in exchange for an Israeli military pullback to a previous
front line with Gaza. President Trump called his proposal a
great deal for Israel and welcome to Mars's initial response,
saying the group had accepted key parts of the twenty
point plan, including the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian

prisoners and an end to the fighting. Formal negotiations are
set to begin on Monday in Cairo, just one day
before the second anniversary of the war, and Israeli delegation
is traveling to Egypt for the talks alongside representatives from Hermas,
the United States, and Qatar. Rubio said the release of
hostages is the top priority and something the US hopes

to secure quickly, possibly within days, but worn that the
second phase will be far more difficult. That includes questions
around who governs Gaza after the conflict, how to disarm
militant groups, and how to prevent future attacks. Despite progress
on talks, there was no pause in Israeli air and
