Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yes, big homework hats.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Today we are talking about budget beauty, and with everything
just increasing in price so much, we just thought, okay,
this is the time to talk about products that are
actually really affordable because often will say like drugstore or affordable,
but it's only affordable if it's on sale. These days,
so many drug store makeup products or beauty products are
(01:14):
still like forty dollars. Yes, so we have not affordable.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
Nothing is over twenty dollars.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
To including like that's full price.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yea twenty Kelly told me I'm not allowed to recommend
something that is currently under twenty dollars. I love finding
a sale, so it was a little extra challenging for
me because I had on sale and it's a retail
for under twenty dollars price, Yes, and be good, but first.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I had to find the liner in my bag. So
we've hit up the Ubis for their best budget suggestions
with the extra challenge of under twenty dollars full price.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
My best budget beauty hack would be Designer Brand and
it's a liquid blush and it's just a beautiful color
and it lasts all.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Day, and it's I think, like ten bucks, ten dollars fifty.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
I don't think I've tried that one, but I love
Designer Brand.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
So my cheapie is a face mask. I love the
classic five dollars from your average chemist. Just a garniate.
Whack it on while you're doing the dishes, fifteen minutes, beautiful,
cheap BUYE love them.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Oh, I don't know if I would count. I don't
know if they're now the brief. I mean, listen, they
did because we said under twenty dollars, but like a
single use mask.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
But you said under twenty dollars. What is there under
twenty dollars?
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Why?
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I want products you can use for more all the
time under twenty Still that.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Is really yeah? Good enough?
Speaker 2 (02:39):
She parts by like a c if we're grading the system,
she gets this sea. I love the.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Lip and chake tint from MCO Beauty. It's in the
shade dusk and it's under fifteen dollars. It's really beautiful.
You can just use it to get that sun kissed look.
You can also use it on your lips.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
So I love it.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Like some products like that one are, But so many
of the products were like over thirty dollars. I feel
like a lot.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Are those so many things generally maskas, even mascaras who
are choose to be a cheapie, like they averaged twenty
five dollars when I was looking at them.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
That's why it made it so hard, I know, to
go under the twenty go under that twenty dollar mark.
After the break, Kels is going to talk us through
her budget, bues.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
I am. So what I've done is I've got my
full face of makeup, all under twenty dollars full price.
I bought most of them in for show and tell.
And I used them on my skin, so I use
them to do my makeup today, just in case you're
watching along and you're like, yeah, but are they actually good.
(03:48):
I would never recommend something that I hadn't personally tried
and adored. First up, I've recommended this primer for years.
It is the Astralla's Dewey and Daring hydrating primer. It
is nineteen ninety five and it is so good. Make
sure that you don't get the illuminating one, because that
one's awful. It's not like weird glitter in it. It's
(04:09):
not good. So that one. Then for foundation, the Ordinary
Serum Foundation twelve dollars and seventy cent ceremary twelve dollars
and seventy cents. I've been wearing this so much lately.
It is such a beautiful light serum tint with good
coverage in it, and I get compliments every single time
because it's just so.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Glowy's a good brand, it really is.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
For concealer, you mentioned this a couple of weeks ago,
the Elf Camo concealer. It is so high coverage. It
is very similar, I would say to the tart shape
tape actually, and it is twelve dollars. It's really really good.
I recently rediscovered that when we were doing the New
Beauty Awards. I'd forgotten about it, but I have recommended
it before for Contour the designer brands Contour wand eighteen
(04:53):
ninety nine. This is really good. However, it's not as
easy to blend as more higher end products that I
have discovered, so just bear that in mind that you
have to work real quick when blending, because it just
drive down a lot quicker.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
Than I was expecting, one side at a time.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
The color is beautiful and the formula is really nice.
Blush Mecha Max Blush. It's a stick. It's so easy
you literally just draw it onto your cheeks and then
blend it adds twenty dollars. It's so blendable. Four brows.
The MC Beauty Shape and Sculpt sixteen dollars. Really really good,
so easy to use. It's got like not too fine
(05:31):
of a tip. It's not. It's more like the Anastagia
Beverly Hills in terms of the actual tip more so
than the benefit. And then this bull is really good too.
Mecha Mac's Single Shadow. They're ten dollars. I haven't actually
opened this one because I had a bunch of other colors,
like they're very bright, the colors that I absolutely froth
on ten dollars, like the pigment's amazing, so good. And
(05:51):
then mascara. I've got the elf Lash Extend. It's what
I've got on my eyelids. Doesn't actually say tubular, but
I think it's definitely tubular. Gauging by the actual little
thingy really really good, not like two volumeizing, which I
actually don't want something super volumeizing every single day. I
just want something that's gonna then and make them more defined.
(06:12):
Then for my lips, the Designer Brands pigment powt Lipliner
eleven ninety nine. It is really creamy, really easy to apply,
super pigmented. And then I really love the NYX fat oil.
This is a mini, but the big size full price
is nineteen ninety nine. It's plumping, it's juicy, it's really pigmented.
(06:33):
I absolutely love it. So that's what my full face
is currently wearing, all under twenty dollars. Did I go
out and shop for some things? Indeed I did, because
I couldn't find anything good at home. After the break,
we're moving on to Sarah Marie's face. Yes, all right,
(06:54):
Sarah Maurie, what's in your noggin?
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Well, unlike you, I didn't bring anything with me. You
had a lovely short top listen.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Just not as good as a student, are you.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
It's just so much to bring a bag at the
top with our ubi with the face mask. Okay, yeah,
I literally have my laptop everyone in my bag and
I'm like, I ain't putting anything. I found a half
featen sandwich in there from Mallai this morning.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
I did my makeup in the car and that's why
I was happy to bring them in.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Oh okay, Well I did it all at home and
I was like, I want nothing. I don't want nothing
else in the centuries today. I didn't even wear a
necklett nothing. I was like as minimal as I could
be today. So this is my recommendations. I think I
did pretty well, and I think you'd be proud of me. Okay,
maybe you'll be moved up to a bee. Maybe I'll
be moved up to a bee. Possibly an AA plus
so primer, the Natio Ageless Illuminating Primer. It's nineteen dollars
(07:42):
lovely for that lovely glow. Con sealer maybe ling instant
Agra White says can Sealert. It's normally twenty two ninety nine,
but Chemist Warehouse will sell it for nineteen ninety nine.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Okay, does that make I'll allow you, like not a sale,
I'll allow, but you're not moved up to the bee yet.
Come wait, okay, come on, I did so good. I
thought I did all right? Why also, I will actually
allow you a few extra dollars for that one because
it is so damn good.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Oh okay, al right, so guys, you have to buy
it from the link on the notes for it is
so good though, like get the twenty dollars mark, but
it is really good.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Okay, God, I'm such a street teacher. You really are
in my class. No, no, no, I.
Speaker 3 (08:25):
Feel so much pressure. I remember bringing in something in
your hated to, like I hate that.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Or when you tried to shark tank me something and
a sent nut and you're.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Like, no, such a good pitch. But in all fantas,
you're right.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
So foundation elf flawless finish foundation sixteen dollars currently six
dollars stop. I had to double check this. I'm like,
continue some sort of they have, like how many shades
they amount of.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Yeah, do you think I would like it?
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:57):
You know what, it's kind of I think I think
you would.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
It's just different to like, it's not like a shiny
jewy kind when it's in between. It's a little in between,
which is kind of what I like. Yeah, because I
don't want to always have to use too much power.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Me, I mean, I want to look oily on flawless.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Satin Foundation six dollars. Wow, see, I know, I do
believe you. There's a lot of shades there. So I'm
not quite sure why it's for six dollars, but it
does retail for sixteen, so it's like a double whammy.
I feel it doesn't a plus move. That is someone's move, right,
So for powder, room will stay. Matte Press powder sixteen
dollars currently eight dollars.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Don't unless that. I wouldn't even even ever considered adding
a powder into my list because I was like, who
uses a powder every time? They do? Make up a
lot of people, A lot of people.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
I do you know, want your makeup going nowhere all day?
Do you make up him?
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Because my skins are dry? Just goes You're staying put today.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Blush the Elf Camo liquid Blush, which is sixteen dollars
and super pigmented. I love that eye shadow Morphi which no.
I love Morphi Morphi to ready in five eye shut
a palate. It's eleven dollars, easy to blend five colors
and they have beautiful shade. For an eyeliner, riml Scandalize
(10:14):
Waterproof Coal and Cajal eyeliner ten dollars ninety nine, so
eleven dollars.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
Nice and creamy, smudgeproof and long lasting.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
For a brow pencil, Maybelene Express Brow Ultraslim Pencil, it's
eight dollars fifty.

Paris Voluminous Muscara twenty dollars.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
I think I did really well.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
