Speaker 1 (00:25):
Guilty about it.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Hello, and welcome to you Beauty the Daily podcast for
Your Face.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
I am Sarah Marie.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I'm Kelly mccarronon we're doing spirit Fingers, Spirit Fingers.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
I don't know why we're doing spirit fingers.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And this is in her bag and today it's a
Desert Island edition, but it's.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
A bit wrong.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
The spirit Fingers is like, please never get stuck in
it as an island, because I would not fair very well.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I've been roasting Saramony before we even turned on the mines,
before we turned on the cameras, about one of her
choices that she has since removed.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I changed it.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
I had to find the liner in my bag.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I found this really hard, did you easy?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I thought I was trying to do something where I'm like,
I don't want to put something on.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
My list that was too predictable that you would do.
But then I.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Don't think you're gonna guess what. Some of the things
I've got on my list. Oh my god, these are
the products that we would not go anywhere without, especially
a desert island.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
First up, let's ask the ubi's what is the one product?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
And no one would expect you to take to the
desert island deserted not desert. That sounds like a grim
place like at least if you're on a deserted island
you can swim, and if you're a desert island, not
go You're done.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Okay, I know this one sounds like a bit of
a rogue one to take to a deserted island, but
it would one hundred percent be the Laura Mercier translucent
setting powder. Are you telling me you're not sweating when
you go to a deserted island? Yes, you are, so
you will one hundred percent be wanting to take this
to touch up and make sure you do not look
really at all?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Who is seeing so random?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
You're on a deserted island, Who is seeing you sweat?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You can't use that for anything else. Literally, you have
no mirror. Are you applying?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Unless you bring a brush? Is your second option?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
You could put it under your pits to stop you sweating. However,
it would actually know that would turn into chalk.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
No, you can't. You can't use it. It's turned into
a pit paste.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Like She's right, it's random, it's very unexpected. I yep,
very I don't want to be mounted a desert island.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
No, I want that glowing I'm an islander.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
She's a nailinger exactly, be like you know you're not
a mat quaint.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
No, you'd be like.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Sarah, stop like putting the coconut oil all in your body.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
We need the up on my body, seat and me
some of that.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I would take the tacher kiss you lip mask, because
then you still wake up looking kissable on a desert island.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
This, guys are gonna die? I did everyone.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Miss the point of what you not understand what a
deserted island is?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Who are you there with it? You're kissing kissable limps?
You know when you're dying?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
You we're going a mirage literally?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, sorry, God, of course you're hopefully on a desert
a lined with someone for company, but we're not worrying
about kissable lips.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
So the way I did this is you and I
are stuck together or a by myself. Okay, that's how
I pictured it.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I was like, we are either in a situation where
we would drive each other up the wall, but you know,
you never get we'd never get bored.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
We would never get bored. We'd be bickering and giggling
the entire time.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
They'll be like we could see from the bones, they
don't laughing.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
They died giggling and one of them was roasting the
other one.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
One product I'd take to a deserted island is SPF fifty.
There is just no way you could survive if you
burnt your body or face, so it has to be SPF.
And never would have said that a few years ago,
But now I'm just thinking of sun and damage and
Ireland and yeah, all of the above.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, I reckon less BF.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
She responded. She missed the brief because it was something
that we don't expect. That was the questions. However, it
was the only smart answer. It really was, because you're
going to be stuck. You don't know how strong the
sun is, and at least it'll cover like nose shoulders,
you know what. The other two with their translucent powders
and their lip masks, they're going to be asking to

(04:28):
borrow the SBF. You know, what clever SBF lady is
not going to be wanting to borrow the translucent powder.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
She's going to be like, what have you got to
trade with?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
And they're going to be like, I've got and you
know what translucent powder and lip mask to be like
it's burning man.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
But island addition, no one wants your lip masks.

Speaker 7 (04:47):
Okay, So the one product I couldn't live without on
a deserted island would definitely be my Lanna lips falm.
I am addicted to that thing. It comes everywhere with me,
and you know, if your lips feel good, you feel good.
I'm also thinking if you get one of the flavors
like the coconut and mango, it can be a snack
and your lips can keep moist straights.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I feel like she has won because it's not super
expected that it would be so specific, but it's clever
and she's really thought it through and it is useful,
I know.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
But then she ended it by saying she's going to
eat it if she gets the coconut, if.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
It's a yummy, if it's a I get it, at
least shmeer it a little bit inside your mouth so
you get a bit of flavor. Also, if it's got
a nice fragrance, it could be a perfume. I think
that's a stretch. I think the fact that she picked
Lala lips is fine. If flantel lips works for you,
it doesn't work for me. Actually, I've tried. It could
be better than nothing. I would rather have that than
a lip mask, because what the hell is going to

(05:44):
do latter lips. At least you could put it elsewhere,
elsewhere your nipsy What are you doing on your nips?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I'm assuming I don't have clothes, so they're a bit
I'm actually swim wear on.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Okay, or uncomfortable on a desert island together. I'm naked,
I've got swim You've.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Got to swim suit on, So you're quite uncomfortable that
I'm just naked.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
I think I swear to you.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
The fact that now you're a naked and afraid you're
just like on that TV show where you're just like
wving naked, I probably do quite well well.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
The fact that your.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Head went there straight away, then, yeah, I just assumed
there would be no clues.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I'm allowed to take beauty products, but no clues.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I'm so scared to see your listen now because in
your head you're naked.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
I'm like, what has she got? Well, after the break,
let's get into it.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Number one thing I'm packing for a deserted island is tweezes.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Why because I am so hairy? Not touching you on that.
The pantheron not for nappy rash.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
If you've got dry lips, if you've got irritation, you've
got a graze.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
It's quite multi purpose.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
You can get the panthon that's like got the antiseptic
on it.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
It doesn't have to be like the nappy rash one.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
But I think that's a good multipurpose one, yep that
you can use and you can use it on your
eyebrows to tain them instead of using your tweezers.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I don't take your brows with the You're really underestimating
just how hairy I.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Really am, like as an ethnic person, hairy eyes that
you have hairer problems than I do.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
A razor. You are all about hairmade or we've only
just begun.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Okay, my armpit hair Sarah Marie once again, Although we
could use it with the pubes because the raisers. All.
If you're gonna have to look at me naked all
the time, I'm unsure.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
I don't want you clean shaven if you are naked
on an island with.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Me and you're like, why take the pit like use
it naked, and then worried about shaving your pits because
why didn't you bring down We will be platting them within.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Two weeks you didn't even bring like super.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
I would let my pits get hairy from stuck on
a desert. You can borrow mine. You're next on your list.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Okay, a large like the one leater pumps of the
QV Gentle Wash, because we're gonna still need to wash
here and there, and you're.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Naked, you're definitely gonna need to wash well.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
You can use this on your face, you can use
this on your body, you can use this on your hair. Yes,
so it's multi purpose. You can use it for shaving.
QB Gentle Wash, so you can easily just use that
to lubricate your legs, your your pits, and god knows.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
What else you're gonna use to shave in front of
me on this thing.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Everything sight is not the signed up.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
For with Lucky Me, beauty products that you're gonna laugh
at me now for this with your list, we have
such a different list.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
By the way, you are so right, people are gonna
take something from yours like it's a helpful.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
I mean, I hope so, but we'll see, we will see.
I'm just GONI stick to body now. Since we're doing this,
I'm still bringing my QV So it's my QV skin
lotion in the one leaders the big lotion, more to
use very.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
It is useful face and body.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
You know you're gonna get dry dehydrated on an island,
and you can mix it with sand for a dihy
body scrub or I like that.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah, so I thought.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Bring that and because it's so big, Okay, what's your
next one?

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Weant, but I'm taking it off.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
You can deal with me being stinky, Oh my god, deodorant,
you can deal with me being stinging. To replace it
with now, last minute, a detangler brush.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
I'll take that. I took that off my list because
I was like, I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Have very thick hair, and we will end up early,
not or hurt.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
We are curly hair girls, so.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
We need the detangler brush. And I've actually got a
specific one in mind. The Strand Detangler brush. It's wet,
all dry heat twenty five dollars. We can share it
because it's also easy to clean, so you don't need
to worry about her effect.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
It goes singing.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Effect with my next one, which is the John Frieda
Curl Cream Freeze East Dream Curl.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'm worried about being so hairy and you're taking girl cream.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Yes, because hello, this is my hair naturally, can you imagine?

Speaker 1 (10:18):
And this is what bush and my pits and you're
worried about.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
We can use the girl cream and we can use
use your brush and put the curl cream in our
curly hair so at least our hair is not matted
so together. Really, yes, and it's moisturizing so we're not
going to feel like crap.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
And we can use the qv wash to wash our hair.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Okay, and then I have one more item on my list.
We'll go ahead. Tell me what you've got first.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
I've got the Naked Sunday's Beauty Screen foundation tints. Oh great,
I'll use it. You've got the you'll use that please
just on your face.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I feel like if I knew your naked I would
have gone more with their body because.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
It's like a bigger thing. I've got something for us.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
And before that, you can use it as a bronze
a on these days where you feel really like mah.
And yes, it's really hydrating base, so it's kind of
like skincare. But sber So, I thought, you know, I do.
That's something that's a little practical in there.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
My next thing actually is practical, and I didn't need
to be told that I had to have some because
I did have some one my practical thing. One of
the questions that we got was, okay, something that we
want just to be constantly refilled while we're on the
deserted island together. Well, my answer is the now food

(11:34):
Solutions Sweet almond oil uncented.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
It is a multipurpose oil.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
I've talked about it in our Friday episodes a bunch
of times before. It is so good you can use
it for absolutely everything.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
What is this multipurpose oil? Literally just a sweet almond oil.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
But it is the most beautiful, Like it's so affordable.
You can get one liter. I don't think you will
not understand how much oil that is.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Like, okay, it like an oil you can eat with
or like it's Josh, but probably could.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Okay, so we could use it to cook our fish
or me. When you think that.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
You're just a picture of you, it's featuring you.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Sweepy cake. I'm naked cooking a fish my almond oil.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
You brought tweezes. Do you really think I'm gonna cry?
Do you really think I think you're gonna be able
to catch a fish?

Speaker 1 (12:22):
I will with my sins and my tweezes. You got
ras use my.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Armpit hair to fashion a net to catch the fish.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Anyway, the almond oil is you can put it on
your face, body hair. This is much more useful than
your curl cream. You can use it as a conditioner.
You can use it to a brush.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Yes, that's the only thing that pairs well with mine
is your brush and my almond oil.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
The only reason I don't have an oil is I
pictured we had coconuts that we could make some oil.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I don't know that, and I bet you're making me
clamber up these trees to get them.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
So out of our list, we've got one product that
you'd allow to run out and one product you would
want to have, like endless.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
What was your yours is the well I was run out.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
My answer was actually that I would allow everything else
to run out because I stopped caring. Okay, And the
one product I don't want to run out is the
almond oil because it is so multi use and multi
purpose and we can literally use it for everything and
it lasts such a long time.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
Well, I would let my curl cream run out for
jeez raisers, Okay, but I would want to keep my papantham, you.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Know what, with the almond oil and the papan then
between it.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
Just like I just figured we're going to be like Sore.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
You're definitely gonna be chaps climbing.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Up that tree for me to get my coconut oil naked.
You're gonna need my papanther. I will for sure. We're
going to survive a very long time on this island.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
And listen, this is potentially the most rogue episode on
a Thursday we've for quite some time.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
But I hope you've at least gotten a giggle.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I reckon you've got at least five solid good recommendations
of what people need to pack when they go to
this island by choice.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
If you got by choice, bring mind plus at a
brush and you're.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Good like just tweezes. You could do a lot, including
trying to get a fish. Anyway, that's all the time
that we've.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Got for today. Please, if you want to watch us
both crying with laughter.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
On YouTube if our producer allows it, to go up
and follow us on Instagram at you Beauty Podcast.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
