Speaker 3 (00:37):
Eric, I'm excited. You just never know what's going to
happen with you, cal.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
The problem is, I do have a couple of shows
and tells today, and I fear that I may have
lost your trust with my shows and tells. I hope
to win it back by showing and telling some truly
exceptional good products.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
There was an incident, but we're moving past me.

Speaker 2 (00:53):

Speaker 4 (00:58):
I have recovered and I'm excited for this good good forgiven.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I always love it when Erin fills in on our
Friday episodes because she tries more product than anyone. I know.
She gets the best of the best, and she's always
got the best recommendations. You've gotten me onto some of
my favorite products. So can you kick things off with
your spendy spendy baby spendy.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
A liar complexion stick. Have you tried this one?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
No? I haven't, and you always have really beautiful skin
and makeup, so I always trust your recommendations.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Tell me about this.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
That's a pretty big compliment. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
This is a foundation stick. Basically, it's eighty dollars, so
it is spendy. Obviously, you can get it at Mecca.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
If you said it's two dollars, I'd be like, wrong category, see.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Wrong category, speedy, You're not doing this right. I'm obsessed
with foundation sticks right now. There's loads of them out.
You've got like the Challotte Tilbury one. I think Anastasia,
Beverly Hills did the.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Barm They're all very glowy.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Though.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
This is just like a proper foundation stick and I
can't stop using it.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I'm wearing it today.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
The reason I like this one so much is because
the formula is.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Really she up, but it's buildable.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
When I think of the stick, sometimes I think cakey
because they're so thick the pigmented, but your skin doesn't
look pake.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
It all looks very fresh.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
It's really lightweight.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
It has, you know, with the Aliyah Super Serum foundation
or the foundation serum that they do. I can't remember
what the proper name of it is that has like
tons and tons of skincare ingredients in it. This one
does as well. It's basically like a skincare makeup hybrid.
Most formulas are these days, but this really feels lightweight
on the skin.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I've got dry skin. I think you have dry skin
well too, the same.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
It feels really comfortable on the skin, hydrating, and I
love that it's buildable as well, so it's good for
every day, but you can also build it up if
you want to go out.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
I recommended it to my sister in law and she
got one. I'm loving it. I love a new foundation.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Same, there's something so exciting. Well, you like makeup, just
like we love makeup, and so we really love discovering
something that's a little bit different and really effective.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Mine isn't makeup. My spendee tell me.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Over the next little while, a lot of my recommendations
on Friday will be hair, which will be helpful to
our friend Sarah from Monday's episode, who was asking about
hair products simply because, as I mentioned, in the Monday episode.
My hair is fried and I've been told by several hairdressers, Sis,
you need to put down the bleach. You have to stop,
Like the breakage on top is just so hectic because

(03:28):
my hair grows fast. I have to get it done
every four weeks. Bleach every four weeks recipe for a disaster.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
So do you have a current routine that you use
for like the haird I.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Do, but it's clearly not working, so I need to
try different things. So a couple of weeks ago, I
was at a Sephora event and the hairdresser he did
look at my hair and go, oh, dearie me. He
said it a lot nicer than me. He was a
lovely chap. I also fell over in front of him
and really stacked it and he was delightful. He was like, Hn,
you need to be using the Oliplex number four and

(04:02):
number five, so that's the bond maintenance shampoo and conditioner.
I'm a huge fan of Oliplex, used heaps their products before.
Constantly have number three, which is the mask in rotation,
so I will use that when I remember type thing
like I think I have used them before and thought, yeah,
they're really nice, But I'm like, they are so expensive
and they don't make my hair feel that much better,
or they don't smell really nice, so I'm kind of like,

(04:24):
I just don't really get the appeal of having them constantly.
But I have been using for the past few weeks
and I really have noticed a difference in the quality
of my hair, like it already is just feeling a
little bit less snappy after washing it. So I think,
while I'm trying to get my hair back to a

(04:45):
better quality, then I'm going to stick with this. You
also don't need much depends where you buy it from,
because you can actually buy them on special at Amazon
when they've got different deals going, but it's generally you
get the duo for ninety seven dollars from a Door
or Sephora valued at one hundred and eight dollars. That's
a lot of money for a shampoo and conditioner. But
if you are also suffering from a lot of breakage

(05:07):
and really poor quality hair, maybe have a look give
it a go.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
I've used it before, not consistently, my hair feels so
much better using it as well.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, it honestly just feels healthy.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
It just feels better, like stronger as well.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Yeah, I like it.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
It's spendy, but I guess you've got damaged hair and you.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
You kind of need to probably spend a bit of dosh.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Get in there. Okay. Can I move on to my
saving please?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Because I'm so excited about it.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I okay.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
It's the Loreal Glycolic Gloss Lemonation Treatment twenty nine ninety
nine or I think it's fifteen dollars at chemist Warehouse.
I am loving this. We talked about the range on
Monday when we were answering a Q and A question.
This is the lemonation treatment that you use in the shower.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Sniff my hair? Can you sniff? I've got the product.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I spoke about it about a couple of months ago.
I'm just so happy that you also love it because
it is so good. It makes your hair feel kind
of stupidly soft.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
They've got a whole range and it's gone viral on
social media. I think I saw different people using it
and I was like, Oh, I have to try that.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
So what have you got next?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
My saving is a hair brush and I brought it
in for show and tell. But unlike Monday, I promise
this is a kind show and tell because I want
you to use it.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Don't mind my blonde hair. I want you to just
run it through your hair.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Oh that feels lovely. What is it?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Twelve dollars for this brush.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
It is a mix between bore bristles and then the
regular Nylony Ermi ones twelve dollars from Amazon. I just
saw it when I was doing a haul a couple
of weeks ago. I sort of thought, oh, it's twelve bucks, like,
I'll just give it a go because I really love
discovering products that other people aren't talking about so I
can recommend to them or be like absolutely not. This

(06:47):
is awful and I was blown away. It just makes
your hair so shiny. My hair is so coarse because
I've got naturally curly hair, as do you. It's designed
for naturally curly hair and effortlessly glides on three hair.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
It's so good.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
If you hate brushing your hair or you suffer with
hair brushing, this one to go.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Twelve dollars.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
Okay, oh, okay, cal After the break, I need to
tell you about the new night cream that's saving my
flaky face.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
I think you're gonna like this one.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Well I will, because I've also got a flaky face
that needs saving.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Newbie, so anything else, but it's new.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
All right, erin tell me about your aquaboost. I need
to have a boost of aqua.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
So this is Sukin's new range.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
It's called Sukin Aquaboost three D Hyaluronic Acid night Cream.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
It's thirty dollars.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
It is so nice, nice, so nice. It just leads
your skin so deeply moisturized, soft supple the next morning.
It has hyaluronic acid in it. It's got nice cinnamid seramids.
It's just a really really bloody good moisturizer for winter.
I feel like my skin just feels so much smoother

(08:03):
and less angry.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Because Lee has told me about this prot too, So
now both of you, with two different skin types, I
need to try it.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
You'll love it though, because you tape to me.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
It's light weight, but it's still lovely and thick, and
your skin feels really silky and gorgeous. It feels so
much more lux than supin products.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Yeah. I mean is that we love pharmacy products because
we know that they're going to go on spash.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Well, funnily enough, mine is also available at some pharmacies.
It's definitely available at Priceline. It is the rock Roc
Dorm Correction jewel I cream. When I saw this, I
was like what on earth? Because there are some masks
that have come out with this. One's for the outer
perimeter of your face where it gets really dry, and

(08:49):
then this part of the mask is the in a
portion of your face that it gets earlier.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
This is a jewel I cream.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
So it was developed to be dermatologists and plastic surgeons
to help treat both the upper and lower eye areas,
but with completely different formulas rather than just going, oh,
here's one formula put on the whole area when the
skin is so different. So if you think about it,
on the top of your lids as we age, what
we're trying to do is stop it from sagging, and

(09:18):
on the bottom we're trying to keep up plump, but
we're also trying to keep it really hydrated and reduce
our fine lines.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
We're not worrying about fine lines up the.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Top, so the upper eye gel lifts and firms the
look of eyelids, and then the bottom part so the
lower I cream is really good at smoothing, depuffing, and
reducing dark circles and fine lines.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
It's just so a picture of it, Okay, I was like,
I'm understanding.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Sorry, sorry.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
So it's like a little pot and it's got two
different sections in it. One's like a creamy one and
one's like a geljel.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Okay, So full price, it's fifty six ninety nine, but
like I said, you can get it from the pharmacy,
so you'll be able to get it cheaper than that.
But I'm just so impressed with it and really looking
forward to trying it to see what the results are
long term.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Ooh, I like that. I'm wont to try that one. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Anyway, after the break, I need to tell you about
a product I dissed and actually made fun of publicly.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Should do this off it?

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I do, and now it's almost an empty.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
So shut mustache. So many months ago I saw all
over TikTok and Instagram Australian creators and people were getting
so excited because the summer Friday's Dream lip oil was
coming to Australia. Marianna, who is the founder of the brand,

(10:38):
was like very excited about launching it into Australia and
people going off anyway, so When it came out, I
choofed myself to Mecca. They only had a couple of
shades left, but I bought one in the shade Blush Dreams,
and then I reviewed it and I was like, it's fine.
It's a lipoil, it's a tinted lipoil. But it's forty
three dollars. That's outrageous for I didn't think it was

(11:02):
like any better than something that was in the twenties
or even less type thing.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
It's almost empty.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
So I feel like it deserves a mention on you, beauty,
because especially a lip product.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
In our job, finishing a lip.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Product just doesn't happen. They just disappear.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
They firstly just disappear, or you just get so excited
by something else and something new and fancy that you
forget about the other one. But the color of Blush
Dreams is kind of like my perfect gloss shade, I guess.
And it's really juicy and I really love it, and
I'm almost finished it, and yeah, it actually is really
good and amazing, and it's like, oh, yeah, me going, oh,

(11:44):
forty three dollars, Well, what's better? You buy a couple
of twenty dollars ones and never use them more than
a few times, or you spend forty three dollars and
use it all the time?

Speaker 4 (11:51):
True, true, True. I love summer Fridays. I love their
lip butter.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
I love their jet lag mask. Listen.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I'm nothing if not honest when I need to backtrack,
when I've been a little bit hypocritical or said something
that I went back on. Here, I am owning up
to my mistake. Erin, did you shop anything or finishing?

Speaker 3 (12:10):
My one?

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Is the new Elizabeth Arden Saramide Lift and Firm cream makeup.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
It's a foundation seventy five dollars.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
How have I not heard of this newbie fresh on
the shelves. I tried this the other day and as
soon as I put it on, I put it on
my hand before I put it on my face, and
I was like, I don't know if that's really my shade.
It looks a little bit too orangey for my shade.
I mixed it in with a brush, applied it to
my face, and I was kind of like, it's like

(12:40):
a mate formula.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
I'm probably gonna hate this. Anyway. I applied it to
my entire face and it was beautiful.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
It was.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Nice and plump and juicy. It wasn't Matte matt but
it wasn't glowy. It was that nice in between. It
was just such a beautiful formula. The coverage was really
really good. I got lots of compliments after wearing it.
It was just such a beautiful formula. It was almost
it's not like a whipped formula, but it's kind of
got that feeling going on. It's like a creamy it

(13:09):
feels beautiful on the skin. You need to try it.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
