newsfix for Wednesday, the nineteenth of June and this update.
Supermarket workers say they're overwork, to understaff and underpaid. First
Union surveyed more than fifteen hundred of the workers across
the country's major supermarket chains. More than ninety percent say
their stores or at least sometimes understaffed, and seventy percent

Secretary for Retail and Finance, Rod Hughes, says they were
essential during COVID. He says it isn't reflected in their pay,
with no supermarkets being a living wage employer. The mother
