fix for Tuesday, the first of October. Israel's delivering a
series of blows across southern Lebanon as it begins a
ground defensive. Lebanese health officials say Israeli attacks have killed
more than one thousand people in the past two weeks.

Seen Ann's Jeremy Diamond says, for the past few hours,
a steady thud of artillery fires been ringing through the
air close to the border. We have wondered whether or
not this conflict between Israel and Hasbela would escalate to
this point, and tonight it certainly has. Meanwhile, state media
in neighboring Syrias reporting three people have been killed and

just before one this afternoon. Emergency services located the person
in a critical condition and they couldn't be revived. Support
for the Commerce Commission blocking Food Staff's merging North and
South Island operations. The watchdogs found it could substantially lessen

competition and increase the risk for price coordination with Woolworth's.
Food Staff says it's disappointed. Consumer n z's Jamma Rasmussen
says merging could have also hurt suppliers.

really increase supply of vulnerability.
