this update, Prime Minister Christopher Luckson is meeting with China's
President Shi Jinping. They have delivered opening remarks ahead of
their bilateral meeting while at the APEX summit in Peru.
Luckson says New Zealand places great significance on its relationship
with China. The links between our people and between our

who scammed New Zealanders out of hundreds of thousands of
dollars has been sentenced to more than three years in prison.
Police say twenty six year old Jack Dylan Hennessy took
more than three hundred thousand in cash from Aucklander's Shannon
Johnstone reports.

Hennessey pled guilty to twenty seven charges in August. The
scam involved people being called called by someone posing as
police asking them to assist in the covert police operation.
Victims are conned into withdrawing money collected in person by
a fake officer. Two other men are also facing court

for their alleged roles in the scam in other parts
of the country.

Disappointment for many who were hoping to run in today's
Queenstown Marathon. Flights last night into the city were prevented
from landing due to heavy cross winds. In New Zealand
says it's been trying to rebook alternate flights. That's news.
In Sport, French captain Antoine du Pont is ready to
accept the challenge of the All Blacks again in Paris.
