dollars has been sentenced to more than three years in prison.
Police say twenty six year old Jack Dylan Hennessy took
more than three hundred thousand in cash from Aucklander's Shannon
Johnstone reports.

Hennessey pled guilty to twenty seven charges in August. The
scam involved people being called called by someone posing as
police asking them to assist in the covert police operation.
Victims are conned into withdrawing money collected in person by
a fake officer. Two other men are also facing court

Disappointment for many who were hoping to run in today's
Queenstown Marathon. Flights last night into the city were prevented
from landing due to heavy cross winds. In New Zealand
