Boxing Day deals. A new report shows New Zealanders have
lost two point three billion dollars to scams this year,
mostly through online shopping scams. Net Safe tips for out
smarting scammers include shopping only with verified retailers, sticking to

secure payment methods, and checking banking activity regularly. Deputy Chief
Executive Andrea Leask says people should also be wary of
deals that look too good to be true. Scammers are
masters at creating urgency, and if a deal seems too perfect,
