this update, a man's been given eight charges, including murder
and attempted murder over the death of Senior Sergeant Ninn Fleming.
Fleming died from her injuries after a car drove into
her and another officer conducting foot patrols after New Year's Eve.
A thirty two year old man is charged with murder,

attempted murder, two charges of assault using a vehicle as
a weapon, two charges of wounding with intent, as well
as dangerous driving and driving well disqualified. The man will
appear in court tomorrow. And police have charged a man
with murder and attempted murder following the death of a
baby in Hamilton yesterday morning. They've confirmed a baby died

in the early morning incident on Fairfield's Douglas Crescent and
another child and woman remain in hospital in a serious
but stable condition. The thirty four year old man remains
in hospital in a stable condition under police guard and
will be remanded in custody to reappear before the High
Court in Hamilton in February. The FBI is investigating any

potential links to ISIS after a teslas cyber truck exploded
in Las Vegas. One person is dead and seven others
received minor injuries after the truck exploded outside the Trump
International Hotel in Las Vegas, with the driver being the
only death. Authorities believe it's an isolated incident and there
is no further danger to the community. Las Vegas Police

Sheriff Kevin McCahill says there are no indications of ISIS
links at this point.

A road safety campaigner says there's no one single solution
for reducing serious crashes on our roads. New Zealand's recorded
