shift in the US. With Donald Trump officially sworn in
this morning as the nation's forty seventh president. He claims
the US is entering its golden age.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
America will reclaim its rightful place as the greatest, most powerful,
most respected nation on Earth, inspiring the awe and admiration
of the entire world.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Trump has outlined his priorities, including ramping up oil drilling,
overhauling trade, and cracking down on migrants. He says he
wants to take back Panama and rename the Gulf of
Mexico Gulf of America. Senate majority leader John Thune has
compared his approach to Ronald Reagan's.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
One of the things that resonated throughout your campaign was
the unshakable belief in our country and in her citizens.
You remind us of very that's possible in America.

Meanwhile, Nelson's mayor is fact checking Trump's inauguration speech, again
wrongly claiming that Americans split the atom Kiwi Ernest Rutherford

what makes Americans extraordinary.
