this update, the Prime Ministers addressed thousands of people commemorating
Anzac Day at Gallipoli. Today marks the one hundred and
tenth anniversary of New Zealand and Australian troops landing on
the Turkish peninsula. Chris Luckson says Gallipoli is a name
etched into our country's national identity. He says Turkeys protected

the cemeteries and memorials as they would for their own.
Many young Turks lost their lives here defending their country.

A hospital Soldier's block in Canterbury's Handma Springs is reopening
today day Anzac Day as a community center. Hu Nui
mayor Mari Black says it's significant Milestone to heal the
Queen Mary Hospital building that has historically healed so many people.
Auckland's North Shore locals should remain out of waterways until

tomorrow night following last night's recycling plant fire. The mammoth
blaze sent plumes of toxic smoke across the city. The
clean up process is under way, with Fire and Emergency
confirming the fire no longer poses a hazard. Auckland Councilor
Richard Hills says people should stay out of the water
at Milford Beach, Wiro Estuary and Caster Bay. He says

will be and while it's diluted, there could still be
a risk to people's health. Bird conservationists in Waikato have
broken their previous record moving two hundred and thirty two
Kiwi to new homes. Since February last year, they moved
