news fix for Monday, fifth of May. In this update,
the Defense Minister is tight lipped over whether a major
investment in the military will mean better pay for frontline troops.
Defense contractors will be lining up the abyds to build
the Defense Force's new maritime helicopters due to Collins revealed yesterday,

two billion dollars has been set aside for new helicopters,
while nine hundred and fifty seven millions being near marked
over four years for Defense Force activities. The Minister told
Ryan Bridge troops already had quite large pay rises last year.

benefit from that, so they get extra money from that too,

to twenty on opening, with the option to expand over time.
Danieda Mere Juele's Raddick says a tender is due out
this week for a concrete contractor to build the foundation.

The ministers assured me that the project is on track
and I will very much be looking forward to seeing
concrete on the ground for foundations for the buildings in
the middle of this year.

An early start to the ski season maybe on the horizon,
as impressive levels of snow cover canterburyze Mount Hunt. More
than a meter of fresh snow coats the slopes, six
weeks out from the mountain scheduled opening. On the back
of some tough years in the ski industry, Ski area
manager James mackenzie says there's a chance this will bring
forward opening day.

Hope that the snow sticks around. So the best scenario
is the weather stay's reasonably stable, stays cold, we don't
get a huge amount of loss of that awesome snow
that's already there, and we get off to a fantastic,
hipboring start up on the MOUNTA hup.

In sport triathlete Hayden Wilde has been hospitalized in Japan
after a bike crash. He's broken a shoulder blade four
ribs and suffered lung damage. Chelsea have defeated champions elected
