Good morning. I'm never ready, Manu, and this is your
morning newsweeks for Tuesday, sixth of May, and this update
concern over the major impact US tariffs could have on
the New Zealand film industry. US President Donald Trump has
most recently written he had like one hundred percent tariffs
on all movies produced outside the US. Tataki Auckland Unlimited

Chief executive Nick Hill says this screen industry is a
vital contributor to Auckland's regional economy, generating one point seven
billion dollars and employing eighty four hundred people. He says
the industry also fosters international partnerships, including US studios, distributors
and creatives. Exports are hoping for big results from negotiations

on a free trade agreement with India. New Zealand's chief
trade negotiator and his team are in India this week
for the first round of talks. India's GDP is expected

prison sentence carries a higher chance of reoffending. Some families

a crack on Banks Peninsula. Four households remain evacuated and
the area is still in a state of emergency following
last week's wild weather. There's still particular concern about a
