the oppositions laying into legislation to lift the threshold for
pay equity claims of gender discrimination. It's being dealt with
under urgency and is expected to have its third reading
this morning. Last night, Labour's Ingrid Larry says the bill

This shocking, despicable, backward announcement was made that puts the
rights of women in this country back into the dark.
Ages Workplace Relations Minister Brook van Walden says she's trying
to make the claim system more robust. The current threshold

Almost half of schools across New Zealand have a vape
store within walking distance, despite recent legislation aimed at preventing this.
Auckland University research shows forty four percent of schools have

three hundred meters of schools, but existing shops are allowed
to continue operating. Study lead Ronan Payanda says they've identified
