In this update, police are continuing to search for a
second suspect after armed police swarmed a west Auckland mall
yesterday evening. Officers tracked two people to Newlyn Mall shortly
after five pm following reports of a person being robbed
by two men and threatened with a firearm. Officers guarded

entrances and exits of the complex before arresting one of
the suspects and recovering a firearm. A video showed to
our newsroom shows police sweeping the bathrooms of a mall
cinema after moviegoers were ordered to evacuate. The UN Secretary
General is renewing a call for a cease fire in
the Gaza Strip. Air strikes have killed an estimated three

hundred people in the past three days. Antonio Guaterez is
also expressing alarm over reports Israel plans to expand ground
operations in Gaza.

Emphasizes that United Nations will not participate in any so
called aid operation it does not adhere to international law.

US President Donald Trump says he will speak to Russian
President Vladimir Putin over the phone on Monday in regards
to stopping what he's described as the blood bath war.
Writing on his truth social account, Trump said he'll then
speak to Ukrainian leader Voladimir Zelenski and various members of NATO. Meanwhile,
overnight Ukraine said a Russian drone strike hit a civilian

bus in Ukraine's northeast, killing at least nine people. A
third of Kiwi's aged over thirty have high blood pressure,
and now the Heart Foundations launched a campaign to raise
awareness of the condition. It effects over one million New
Zealanders and is the biggest factor in heart disease, the

don't even know it. Heart Foundation medical director Jerry Devlin
says Kiwis need to take charge of their heart's health.
