Good morning, I never ready Manu, and this is your
morning news fix for Thursday, twelfth of June. In this update,
New Zealand's export revenue from food and fibers is forecast
to surpass sixty billion dollars for the first time. Agriculture
and Forestry Minister Todd McLay says strong global demand and
healthy prices across key markets are positioning us for record growth.

The latest Situation and Outlook for Primary Industries report projects
export earnings of fifty nine point nine billion dollars with
a year ending later this month. That's three billion dollars
higher than expected in December, and McLay says with this momentum,
it's on track to reach sixty five point seven billion
by twenty twenty nine. Heavy hitters include dairy exports lifting

sixteen percent to a record twenty seven billion, and horticulture
rising nineteen percent to eight point five billion mean. While
beef and lamb New Zealand is concerned whether the settings
around farm to forest conversions go far enough. Todd McLay
has introduced legislation to stop large scale conversions. Research shows

soon be rolled out by some of the country's largest retailers. Woolworts,
The Warehouse, Briscoes, Rebel Sport, Bunnings, Miter Ten Farmers, Michael Hill,
Spark and One End Zed are all supporting the use
of the tech. It follows a successful trial by Foodstuffs
