In this update, China's president has praised Chris Luckson's positive
attitude during his first trip to the country as Prime Minister.
The leaders have met at the Great Hall of the
People in Beijing. Ji Jinping commended the loosening of restrictions
for Chinese travelers announced earlier this week. Speaking through a translator,

Air New Zealand, Air China and Tourism New Zealand have
announced a strategic investment to boost travel demand to New
Zealand for Chinese tourists. The partnership will see nearly half
a million dollars invested by the three organizations towards stimulating
in bound tourism from China. The funding will be used
to support a marketing campaign to drive greater awareness of

New Zealand as a preferred destination for Chinese travel. At
least forty people said to have been queuing for food
have been killed in an Israeli attack in Gaza. The
