news figs for Monday, the twenty third of June. The
US claims Iran has tried to fool the world for
long enough. America has had three Iranian nuclear sites with
bunker bombs, with no confirmation yet of the extent of
the damage. Secretary of State Mico Rubio says the president
gave Iran plenty of opportunities to negotiate. He told Fox

News Donald Trump set out his expectation for Iran more
than sixty days ago.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
The Iranians didn't like the latter. They didn't respond to it.
They are ultimately entered into fake negotiations and tried to
play them along. In essence, they thought they could do
with President Trump what they've done with presidents in the
past and get away with it.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Meanwhile, in New Zealand, Air Force Hercules aircraft has flown
out of Auckland this morning to help Kiwe strand it
in the region, heading to an undisclosed location. Foreign Affairs
Minister Winston peters A told Herald Now officials are working
to help our people registered in danger zone, including those
doing so late. Yeah, it's faustrating, but that's what we

Two other news, a man's facing serious charges after two
people were injured in an assault at an Auckland night market.
Emergency services found two people in a critical condition when
called to Pukenger's Aylesbury Street about seven pm on Saturday.
Police say a twenty three year old man handed himself
in last night and is due in the Monaco District

Court today. A young Kiwi will wear the names of
one hundred and fifteen women killed worldwide while running when
she runs the Topaw Marathon in August, hawks Bay's at
twenty three year old Nicole Pendro was stalked and chased
by a man while out exercising. It made her realize
how the danger's women face running are amplified during winters

Founder Dame Julie Chapman says the gap has grown between
those who can afford essentials and those who can't. The
children's charity has launched its winter appeal to raise money

security is a big problem and they've seen a fifteen
percent spike in school lunch orders since last year. She says,
