Israel are continuing to discuss Palestine, ignoring its absence from
the table. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benyaminetta Ya,
who have met in Washington, DC. As global hopes grow
for a Gaza ceasefire looking ahead, Trump says he doesn't

know if a two state solution is possible for the

fired off to fourteen countries by the President. It pressures
trade partners to make a deal or risk being lapped
with tariffs next month. Stocks tumbled as Trump revealed new rates,

South Korea and other Asian countries. The BBC's Michelle Fleury

says he's claiming the tariffs are necessary to address US
trade deficits even by the standards of the second Trump administration.
It's been a turbulent twenty four hours for global trading relations,
with more uncertainty ahead. Uber says it believes nine out
of ten of its drivers would quit if they lost
working flexibility. The ride share Giants kicked off its Supreme

we can't work with, then we'll say that before the election.
And back to the US, where survivors of flooding that's
killed more than one hundred people in Texas have spoken

of the trauma. Those killed in the weekend's flash floods
include twenty eight children, and dozens of people are still missing.
