In this update, thousands of people are protesting in the
streets of Tel Aviv against the Israeli government's plan to
occupy Gaza City. The plan, which was approved by the
Israeli Security Cabinet, would see the Israeli military take control
the BBC Zema Nada says hostage families and their supporters
are calling on Netan Yahoo to change course.

They believe forcing out the roughly one million Palestinians that
live there, and indeed it's believed there are some Israeli
hostages being held there that it could endanger the lives

A new five year partnership is forming looking at barriers
to healthy food in South Auckland and addressing the high
number of fast food outlets. Health Coalition is pairing with
Clear Foundation with the goal of creating a healthier food
environment in the area. Jordan Dunn has more.

The groups say there are ten fast food outlets for
every one fresh food outlet in South Auckland. The initiative
is supported by Healthy Families South Auckland, University of AUCKLANDMAS
Foundation and gr Mackenzie Trust. Applied research will be led
by Morena Connect, toy Tangata and Mangday based community leaders
and organizations.
