Good afternoon. I'm railing Ramsey. This is your afternoon news
fix for Friday, the twenty eighth of November. Customs and
Police say they've dismantled part of an organized crime syndicate
believed to be smuggling large quantities of meth and cocaine
through Auckland Airport. This week, they've arrested the president and
seven members of the twenty eight Brotherhood MC gang, bringing

the total arrests since February to forty three. Customs Investigations
Manager Dominic Adams alleges the syndicate would place unaccompanied baggage
on in bound flights for compromise baggage handlers to retrieve.

This technique was deployed across multiple global supply routes, including
flights from Kuala Lumpo, Bangkok, Santiago, Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco,
and New York.

Top up holiday payments have been made to more than
eighty three thousand current Health en Z workers. Health NZ
has paid out ninety three percent of the world money
owed after holiday pay had been calculated and distributed incorrectly.
Payments totaling ten point nine million dollars have been made

Remediation work continues for three regions, the Lakes District, Mid

will require agency chief executives to compete with other candidates
for the role if they want a shot at staying

but Labor worries that change may make chief executives more

hoping to redeem the party from its twenty twenty three result.
The party's conference starts in Auckland today. It's aiming to
campaign on three main focus areas, jobs, health and homes,
underpinned by a targeted capital gains tax.

support really starting to grow and we're really looking forward

The Dominion Road Business Associations accusing its local board of
acting as a handbreak on prosperity. The Albert Eden Local
Board voted against the government's proposal to increase Eden Park
Concerts Association manager Gary Holmes says the board's decision is
staggering economic vandalism.

We've got Minion Road you know, that are fighting to
survive or a fession, and here we have a local
board turning away two hundred and fifty thousand dollars of
ephonomics stimulus.

has called for expressions of interest into expanding Supernetball with
