Good morning. I'm Wendy Petrie and this is your morning
news fix for Tuesday, the sixteenth of December. In this update,
the New Zealand Jewish Council says some political leaders need
to reflect on the rhetoric they're using. After a terror
attack at a Harnaker celebration in Sydney, New Zealand, police
have been bolstering their presence around Jewish sites after the
target attack and Bondai on Sunday, a father and son

opened fire on a crowd of some one thousand people,
killing fifteen and injuring more than forty. New Zealand Jewish
Council President Juliet Moses says this was predictable when you
look at patterns of antisemitism. We know what to look
