In this update, Russian President Vladimir Putin's dismissing claims Moscow
is planning to attack European countries as nonsense. He's spoken
at a marathon televised event lasting almost four and a
half hours. It comes as European Union leaders have announced

loan for Ukraine to help fund its defense against Russia.

The New Zealand Mountain Safety Council says no unusual weather
