(00:01):
Backstage. Welcome to backstage with Brook. You're all access past to music city
where nothing is off limits. Graba drink, let's go backstage. Logan
Crosby is here, y'all. Howare you? I am so good?
How are you good? I meanyou gotta be great? Because excited for

(00:24):
you? Thank you? Yeah,I'm excited. It was fun making it.
Now it's out, you can enjoyit for a little bit. Literally.
So when you're when you're on socialmedia and you're releasing something for the
first time and people are like, you know, people got something to say
about things, What is it likefor you when you you know, I
mean you this this EP is prettypersonal. I feel like twenty three days

(00:46):
in La Yeah. Um, kindof being open and honest and just vulnerable
with your fans. Is that ahard thing to do for you? A
little bit? They've enjoyed it.I think they like wanted to kind of
get to know the story. Andit's like, I put out five songs
in this literally the entire projects justone story. Um. But I mean
they've supported it, they've loved it, so, which is great. I
mean, you have people you knowhere and there that we don't like the

(01:07):
song and I'm like, Okay, there's a skip button on there for a
reason if you'd like to go intothe next one. But then it's also
true, like I mean, peoplemight say like, well, I don't
like your shirt, and you're like, well, I like it. You
know, I'm wearing it, soI like it. But yeah, I
mean, it's one of those thingsI wrote. I wrote these songs,
and like you said, they weresuper personal. Um, I mean some
of them. I wrote, likeI know run Away with You, which

(01:27):
is the first song off the project. I started writing that when I was
in college. Wow, I meanabout like this the girl that I wrote
the whole project about. So it'slike it is real personal, like the
whole thing is. But like Isaid, a lot of people love it,
and you know a lot of peopleare like, you know, even
though like that wasn't our story, like twenty three days spent a certain place,
it's like that kind of told ourstory of our relationships. So that's
all worth it, you know.Well, And I feel like being an

(01:48):
artist too, like being able tojust kind of like write things down and
put them out like what a wayto like cope with things. But also
just like I mean, lay yourheart out. Oh yeah. I mean
writing songs is great therapy. Imean it's like if I can't go to
my therapist. So I'm like, all right, well, let's just write
a song this week and we'll figureit out next week. Do you have
a favorite song from the eph Imean I liked all of them. It
was really hard, like trying topick what's the single, what's the focused

(02:09):
track? But probably twenty three Daysin La or run Away with You.
But they're all great. I meanI love all of them. And then
I feel like kind of the storyyou tell through the videos and stuff too,
it's just a really cool thing. Was it fun making those and kind
of like telling the story along withthe songs because I like seeing the visual.
I feel like just makes it evenmore. The visual is cool.
It's like with this project, I'mlike, I know, I want to

(02:30):
do something really cool. We're gonnago in and cut all these songs,
like I want to make something reallycool. And so we went in and
made like the promo video which likekind of told the story and like an
interview format and it was super cool. And like I said, I had
a bunch of guys in La thatI'm friends with, and I'm like,
all right, this is kind ofwhat I want to do. They're like,
we got you. So it's aboutthe LA And we were in San
Diego and LA and shot everything andtook a bunch of pictures and I think

(02:50):
we were out there for two days. So we did all that really quick.
But it was fun. It waslike it was a full sprint,
Like from the time we got offthe plane to the time I got back
on it was we were shooting atall points of time. You're like,
I'm running on caffeine and oh yeah, and Jesus, I mean there was
literally there was one day that wegot back to the airbnbat like two in
the morning. They're like, youhave to be up at four thirty so
we get a certain shot. AndI was like, you know, I'm
not even gonna go to sleep.I'm just gonna drink a diet coke and

(03:12):
I'm gonna be fine. You knowwhat. I'm so glad that you brought
up diet coke because I don't knowwhat. I was just like scrolling through
your socials last night and I sawthis video of you talking about like the
apple cider vinegar like thing. Orwhatever that went viral on social media and
you're like, no, I'm gonnahave my diet coke and that's it.
Yeah, it's like I mean, and it's like coming out with the people
doing like the cold plunch stuff andI'm not gonna do that, like you
can do it, and that's fine, Black, I'm not gonna do that.

(03:32):
But yeah, I mean diet coke. I mean, that's never It's
never broke my heart. I knowLuke com says beer never broke my heart.
Diet coke, diet coke. Imean, I'm a bachelor, like
to the tea. Like if youopen up my refrigerator, there's like beer,
diet coke, and like some stringcheese from like a year ago.
And you're like, I mean,but I always have I will always have
dit coke, okay. And Irelated to you so much because diet coke

(03:53):
is like my weakness, Like thatis my thing. Whatever we got to
eat, it's diet coke with alime or a lemon in it, and
it's just like my thing. Andmy husband and I we started seventy five
hard and it was just like, what is one hard thing that is gonna
be really tough to give up,and I gave up diet coke, and
I regret that. I regret itso much because this is like every time
somebody talks about diet coke, mymouth like starts celebrating, are you are

(04:14):
you doing seventy five hard? Likenow, yeah, you can't have a
dot Coke? Almost brought one in, so you're welcome. Well, there's
one in the fridge. I can'thave next door, so if you need
it, I got to. Yeah, I love it dot Coke. It's
like one of those things. Itried to give it up and I got
like four days in and I'm like, what are you doing? Like I
mean I was having like withdrawals, like I was having the shakes of a
diet coke. I mean it wasbad, But I love dot Coke Coke
seriously, that's like on my rider. I'm like, if I whenever I

(04:36):
go anywhere, I have to havea diet Coke within like fifty feet of
me or I'm gonna I'm gonna haveIt's it's a little it's a little comfort
just holding one. I mean maybeI should just try holding the can and
just see it hold it. IMean, I know people always like you
know, just like sniff it andjust see if you like. Okay,
like I can smell it and youjust put it down. But I'm not
gonna do that. No, I'mgonna drink. Listen, you just gotta
make me a promise that within thenext I think I've got what sixty like

(04:58):
three days left or I'm really badat mauth, I've got something. I've
got a long way to go.So you just drink all the day at
cook from me. Well, Igot you. I'll probably do two or
three a day, just in oneI'll dedicate one to you. Okay,
Loogan, So this is our firsttime meeting. I followed you on socials
for a little while, but kindof take me to the very beginning of
your story and where it started onbackstage with Brook. I really like to

(05:19):
dive into just kind of like yourstory and like where you come from,
when music got planted in your heartand just kind of like talk through those
those moments because I think they're socool. Yeah. So I grew up
in Georgia, right in the middleof Georgia, kind of in the middle
of nowhere. But um, growingup, I mean, like both my
grandmas went to church, like smallBaptist churches, so anytime I went to

(05:39):
visit, they made me sing.I'm like, okay, whatever, So
that's what I did. Yeah.Um. And then kind of as I
got older, I started singing inlike bands when I was in high school
and like church bands and like garagebands and whatnot. Never really like played
you know, out in front ofpeople besides like a church. And then
kind of when I got into college, it was like the party trick that
they like, give him a guitarand he'll sing to you. Yeah,

(05:59):
So that's that I did. Andthen when I was, I guess going
into my second or third year incollege, U I posted a TikTok yes
and it kind of did well, and then it was like I posted another
one and I just started, youknow, like doing covers and whatnot on
social media. But I told myself, I might look, when you like
hit a certain amount of people thatyou think. I think it was like
ten thousand followers on TikTok. You'regonna go to guitar center, you're gonna

(06:21):
buy amps, you're gonna buy cablesand mics and whatnot. You're gonna start
playing. So I guess it wastwenty twenty one is when I kind of
started playing and just like I mean, just college bars because I mean when
you're twenty one years old, yea, and they go, we'll give you
two hundred dollars in cash and afree bar tab. I'm there every So
it was like Thursday, Friday,Saturday nights, just kind of within because
I went to school at Uga,so I was in Athens, so there

(06:43):
was always somewhere to play in Athens. And then the town I grew up
in actually out of college and itso there were like two little college bars.
So I started doing that and justkind of you know, playing and
whatnot, and then everything on socialmedia kind of took off, and then
that's when the TV show happened.Yeah, and so that kind of elevated
everything for me. Well, Ilove the TV show because I feel like
Claim to Fame you really just kindof like showed off, like how I
mean, I don't know your oneline year jokes, like you're just a

(07:05):
funny guy. Yeah that's the rumoron the street. Um. Yeah,
I mean Claim to Fame was coolbecause I mean, obviously we you know,
it wasn't like a singing competition, but you were you know on primetime
TV, which was awesome, andlike I said, that, you know,
changed my entire life. But fromthat I was able to get you
know, management, a publishing deal, a publicist, you know, agents,
whatever it was. And it's kindof those things where like that's a

(07:26):
show and even talking to some ofthe cast now because season two, you
know, actually I think season well, season two, episode five comes out
tonight, and it's like I've talkedto some of the people on the show,
and it's like, if you wantto use it, you know to
kind of like take your next stepin your career, if you want to
be in the entertainment business, youcan. There are also people that I
was on the show with it,I mean still have their social media's on
private. Ye we did it,you know, we were on TV,

(07:48):
and then that's fine, but youcan really use it to kind of elevate
everything. But that's kind of whathappened to me. I gained a lot
of followers, and then I putout music around the time it was coming
out, and then I moved toNashville like two weeks after the show went
off the air, and then that'skind of when everything started happening musically,
for me, you know, andkind of that guy took as the next
level. Well, I'm not gonnatell you that I'm a huge Florida Gator
fan, so just we can youknow, it takes all kinds of cons

(08:13):
listen, you guys. So Iwas actually talking about my little sister about
this. We growing up would goto Florida Georgia games like literally every single
year. It was just our thingin Jacksonville. Yeah, and then you
know it was always we all dranktoo much. One of us siblings all
got into a fight. It wasjust like, I don't know, it's
like the quintessential, like our familyjust is getting into a fight at the
Florida I love that. I meanthere's every time I've been to Jacksonville,

(08:37):
let's say, yeah, where's yelling? Yeah, I feel that a little
bit personal level a little bit,but listen sec all the way. So
oh yeah, I mean anybody thatif I mean, if George is not
you know, you know, playingfor it, I'm like, what like
baseball, like LSU, you know, playing for the NAST Championship. I'm
like, I'm not an LSU fan, but please win, for the love
of Christ, please literally we're thebest. We gotta make sure that everybody

(09:01):
about to say everybody knows. Literally, So when you made this transition to
Nashville, obviously, like people movehere to like chase a dream, right,
and I feel like, you know, sometimes it can be a little
daunting or you know, just alittle bit like, holy crap, there's
so many people here trying to dowhat I'm doing. How do you stay
motivated in that, you know thataspect of you know, I'm different because
you are. I mean, I'veheard somebody called you emo cowboy cowboy.

(09:24):
Yeah that's fun. Yeah, Imean and that We'll talk about Megan Maroney
in a minute, but I guessI kind of got that nickname from her.
Yeah, But I mean, itwas moving, was you know,
it was really fun. It wasdifficult at times because it was like,
you know, I had I wasI mean, Claimed to Flame was the
number one show on Hulu, lastshow, which is great, and it
had great writings on ABC, andlike everything was happening, and then I
moved and it was like I didn'thave a publishing deal, Like I wasn't

(09:45):
on a tour. I'd only hadlike two songs out, So it's kind
of at first a little bit difficultbecause it's just like, you know,
everything I was on such a highand then it's kind of like came down
really quick. Yeah. So Imean, but my thing, like when
I was trying to stay motivated, then it was like you know who you
are as an artist and as aperson, and like you just have to
say true to yourself. You haveto write the songs that like, you
know, you've lived. And Ikind of feel like that's why I like

(10:07):
stuff starting to happen now, isbecause like all the songs and I'm putting
out or thinks that I literally cantake you to the place that I,
you know, live these songs downout and it's like I feel like those
are the things. And like Isaid, when I'm in the writer's room,
you know, I'm very vocal aboutlike why I wouldn't say that or
like that's not something that happened tome. And which is great because all
the people I get to collaborate withthe like awesome, like let's just fight
like what did happen? Like let'slet's dig deep. Like I said,

(10:28):
of this therapy, half the time, you know, lay on the couch
and put your feet up and whatactually happened. Yeah, but yeah,
I mean the thing with me,stay motivated just like you know who you
are, like write your stories andtell your truth, and like people are
gonna end up finding that and connectingto it totally. When you put out
like you know something personal as inyou know this EP and things like that,

(10:50):
do you ever get like emotional hearingit? I mean, does it
take you back and you get likea little sad sometimes like how does that?
How does that work for you?Because I know everybody's different. Yeah,
I mean it definitely like takes meback to especially like this project,
like to a time that you know, like I was in love with this
you know, certain person and Iwas in a certain place and you know,
like I said, the EPs verylike reflective on like this was a

(11:11):
time in my life that you know, like and and the truth is,
like I loved this person so muchand I was like I thought this person
I wanted to marry and be withright then it was like it just didn't
work out that way. And soit does get I mean, because like
you do pour a lot into thatrelationship for it not to work, and
I'm like, well, you knowwhat, I'm just gonna write some songs
about it. But yeah, Imean it's definitely you know, kind of
like reflective. And I sat back, I guess two weeks ago around the
time when it came out, andI was like, oh, I was

(11:33):
like, that's that's heavy. Listento it. I was like the people
that like don't know me or likehave just found the music and listen to
that, I probably like, whatin the hell is going on with this
guy? Like what's wrong? Youknow? But I love it, and
like I said, it's my story, so and I'm sticking to it.
Yeah, my story, and I'msticking to it. If you could rewind
back to college days, playing thosebars, having your open bar tabs and

(11:54):
tell yourself that you know, you'reliterally your career is doing this, what
would you say to him back, you know, a couple of years ago,
hold on, just hold on.And I was thinking about that last
night. Actually it was funny becauseI was like going through like I never
go through d ms on Instagram, but like I was going through them and
just like seeing the people that havelike found my music and they've supported me.

(12:15):
And there's people that have supported mesince those days. And I never
thought it would get. You know, it's not that it's big now,
but I never thought it would bethis. If you'd told me a year
ago, you know that this wouldhappened here, Especially two years ago when
I was I would literally take myphone and prop it up on my window
sill in my college apartment and justplay covers. And I'm like, if
you would have told me that Iwould have been on tour with Megan Moroni,
I'm like, I would. Ihonestly probably would have slapped the hell

(12:37):
out of my future self. Butlike, don't don't say that. Don't
don't play with me, don't dothat. Don't do that. Go give
me a beer at the bar. You'll give me a die Coke Oka,
please. I'm glad you brought upbeing on tour with Megan Moroni because you
had another round this fall. What'sit like being out on tour with her?
I know, she's just I feellike she's just as funny as you
are. She is hilarious. Whenyou put us two together in a room,

(12:58):
it gets it gets crazy quick, but I mean it's fun. And
she's kind of been like the industrylike big sister to me, and she's
like always been super supportive. Itold her a couple of weeks ago,
I'm like, there were times thatyou believed in me more than I believed
in myself because I was I rememberI was sitting on my couch. It's
a story I don't tell a lot, but I'll tell it. I guess
it was November of last year andI was watching the CMA's and I had

(13:20):
I had like nothing going on,Like I mean, I had no publishing
deal, I had no tour.I was very quickly running out of money,
um, because Nashville is expensive, and I was like, I don't
know what I'm gonna do. Ihad two songs out they were doing,
you know, fine, but nothingcrazy. And I literally said on my
couch and I like cried. I'mlike, I don't know if this is
like if I'm supposed to do this, because I'm like I said, I
mean, you come off such abig high, and I'm like, I've

(13:41):
got to find something to do.And then the next day my agent called
me and he's like, do youwant to go on tour with Megan Moroni.
I'm like, of course, Iwant to go on tour with Megan
Moroni. Hello, yeah, andum and so you know, she took
me on on tour and we didyou know, everything in the spring,
and then obviously she I mean, she's a superstar. Yeah, I've known
that from the first time I mether, which we like. So she
went to Georgia. She graduated rightbefore I got to school up there,

(14:05):
so everybody was like, you gottameet this Megan girl. Yeah. So
I started following her and then sheput out hair salon. Yeah, so
I covered it on TikTok and shereposted it and which is crazy. And
then I went to see in myfest last year and I met her for
the first time and we've just beenI mean, we were fast friends.
We've a great friendstance. And likeI said, she's believed in me,

(14:26):
you know, at times when Ididn't believe in myself as an artist.
And she was like, you're awesome, You're a badass. You're gonna be
fine, You're gonna come out onthe road with me, and then you're
gonna do it again. And I'mlike, well, this is great.
You're like okay, well, andit's so true that you need those people
in your life, that that communityof friends that are going to what I
say, like intercede for you,Like when you don't believe in yourself,
right, They're like, I'm gonnabelieve in you. I'm gonna make sure

(14:48):
that you know it. I'm gonnamake sure that you know you stay on
track, because sometimes it's hard youget in those moments. I mean,
I just posted on Instagram the otherday about how I was just like having
a day. I couldn't. Youknow, you're just like in a hole
in your mind and getting out ofthose is just like so hard. Sometimes
sometimes you just need somebody else totell you that you're gonna be all right.
Oh yeah, Like I said,we text, you know, each
other about songs and just different stuffall the time, and just you know,

(15:09):
we bounce ideals off. I mainlybounce all deals off her and she's
like, don't do that. I'mlike, okay, gotcha, or she's
like do that. But um,but like I said, she's been great.
I mean I'll you know, I'mgonna forever being that to her because
I mean she's just she's awesome andshe kind of, you know, has
lifted my I think music career countedto a different level just because she supported
it and and her fans when shetells them to do something, they will

(15:30):
do it. She's like listen tohis music. They're like, yes,
we got you. Um. Ithink that's kind of where I got the
name Emo Cowboy because she's the Emocow Girl. We're on tour together.
I mean, but like I said, she's been awesome to me. Yeah.
Great when it comes to this, like I feel like, what this
weird social media world where it's likeeverybody feels like they know you and you're
like, I've never seen you before, and like meeting people in person?

(15:54):
Is it weird to you to havethose relationships where you're just kind of like,
I mean, everybody knows what you'redoing, where you are, what's
what's going on with your life? And so the funny story I have about
that is, so my dad retiredback in April, okay, and so
shut out to shut out to Toddgoals. I can't wait to congratulations tide
Um thirty two years. I'm like, it's time to go um. But

(16:15):
he caught. He doesn't sit stillfor more than like two minutes. I
mean, he's retired, he's alreadyfixed up his old truck, he redid
a mountain house. He just hejust does God come help me with mine?
If I'm supposed to cuss. IfI'm not supposed you can cuss,
you can, I'm gonna cuss alot. But anyways, um, So
he called me. He's like, you're on tour this weekend, Like can
I come out on the road withyou. I'm like, I mean like,

(16:36):
yeah, of course you can. He's like like, I want to
sell your merch and stuff. AndI'm like, oh great, so cool.
He's been in some of my videosand whatnot. Let people know the
Todd Father is what they call him, that's the Todd Father. So he
was selling merch in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He can sling some merch. I'm
like, does merch for country arts? That they would be best friends.

(16:57):
He was slinging merch like nobody's business. But people would come up to me
in the line and they'd be like, where's your dad? But they did
They did not care about me thatI was just up there playing songs and
this my T shirts are like,Noah, where's your dad? And he's
over there, and I mean youlook, he's got five T shirts,
he's got he's taking two pictures,he's got somebody, you know, at
the register and I mean people peoplelove him, but I mean that's kind

(17:19):
one of those things. It washe didn't know what to do. I'm
like, hey, dad, likeyou're kind of like kind of famous,
like within my little world, likepeople know the Todd Father. But i
mean, yea. Social media isone of those things where it's like they
see him and they're like, okay, well that's kind of our dad too,
and I'm like, wait, holdon, no, that's mine.
He's mine. He can be sharedsometimes, but you know, not all
the times. But you know,he's great. And you know, like

(17:40):
I said, the people in socialmedia, I mean they do see you
and they see into your life. And I'm one of those people. If
I'm hungover, I'll grab my phoneand make a TikTok and usually those are
the ones that get two million views. And I'm like, really that one,
that one. It's always the onesyou don't work hard on. Yeah,
it's just like me laying in thebedroom and go do not do not
drink moonshine out of a brown papersack in Alabama. Two million views later,

(18:02):
people, that was my moonshine,And I'm like, of course,
it is how traveled all the waydown to South Alabama. I don't know,
but I'm glad you saw it.Oh my goodness. I was just
thinking about your dad and I feellike you should have a shirt that you
sell that to the Todd Father.Somebody sent me a picture of a shirt
the other day. They found itlike a belk and it said the Todd
Father and apparently it was like someold rock band. I'm like, well,
if they need a front man.He can't sing, but that's his

(18:26):
name. He can hit the triangleor something. You just point to him.
It'll be fine. So, speakingof social media, I know we're
kind of talking about that. Areyou on threads yet? Have you have
you? Have you gotten into this? What do you think about it?
What's the what's the what's the reviewfor you? I mean, I like
it. So I was on Twitter. I was big on Twitter, and
then like once I got on Claimto Fame, like Twitter is just a

(18:47):
nasty place. I mean, liketruly, it's like I mean this in
the nicest way, but sometimes likethe worst of the worst, people just
pick up their phone and go,let's tweet something, and so kinda like
wants Claim to Fame went off andlike you know, I started putting music.
I would look on Twitter and I'mlike, this is awful, Like
it was mean, and I waslike, I don't like this. So
I just deactivated my Twitter account, which I'm actually forever thankful for it.

(19:08):
And not one time since then Ithink I deleted it, like January,
Yeah, not one time if Igone, I want to get my Twitter
back. Yeah. So when threatscame out, I'm like, oh,
it's like Twitter, but like betterbecause like it's you know, the Instagram
people are using. Yeah, I'mlike, so people that aren't you know,
crazy angry at the world. Um, And so that's when I downloaded
it. I love it. It'schaotic. I just kind of it's all

(19:30):
my truth of thoughts go on threatsAnd I love it too because it's just
like somebody will what do you callit threat? Somebody will thread something.
Somebody will say it sort of tweeta thread, a thread, threaded thread,
somebody threaded it, threaded it.I don't know we can coin that
term. It'll be fare we go. But they'll say something, and like
you said, this is kind oflike those like those thoughts that you think

(19:52):
about that you don't say out loudand you're like, oh what, I
can say it here right. It'slike my thing is like if it it
can't make it on my instagram astory. Yeah, but I can still
talk about it, but just noton my Instagram story. It goes on
threats. You know. It's funny. I was having this conversations with one
of my girlfriends. She was likeinfluencing full time, right, and she's
just like Instagram is like my wholesomeLike here I am. But she's like,

(20:15):
I feel like my TikTok, Ijust feel like nobody sees it.
But she gets millions of views onthere. But she's like, I feel
like TikTok is where I'm like unhinged, like nobody sees it. Like I'll
tell them my deepest, darkest secrets. And that's how I feel about my
threats. Like I'm just like I'llsay it. Who cares. That's the
thing with threads. I'm I'm justgonna put this out there. Yeah,
you can take it or leave it, but I'm gonna put it out there.
But no, I love threats.I have a great time on threats.

(20:36):
I'm on threads often, all right, So I'm a threat threader.
You're a threaderader. I guess you'rethreading. Okay, we really need to
figure this out because I feel likenobody knows what it is. I'm on
Twitter. I'm gonna tweet something.I'm gonna threat something. Did you hear
though, that Twitter is not tweetLike, it's not Twitter anymore. It's
called X. Like they're changing everythingto like it being called X. As

(20:56):
of literally today, Elon's just outhere. I don't know what he's doing.
He's got chaotic energy. I cantell you that. Um, yeah,
I don't know. I'd like sellingon Twitter. I have no idea.
Yeah, Like I said, Iused to get news from Twitter,
and then I was like, youknow what, Actually, that's the worst
idea in the world. Go getcable and just listen to the news.
But yeah, no, I don'ttweet anymore, but I thread. We're

(21:19):
threaders, ladies and gentlemen, We'rethe thrider. We're gonna thread. Have
you. I feel like you needto like copyright this ladies and gentlemen situation
and tell your mama lover. Yesand yes, there was a show that
I had I guess like a monthago that I did not say it.
I'd always say to the end.Oh my god. I was like,

(21:41):
I've lost my career. I'm done. I'm gonna go sel Car Insurance.
They started to try to cancel peoplethat we're on Instagram, like we were
at your show and you didn't saytell your mama lover. So it's like,
I mean I put it on thebottom of my set list, like
in big letters, like say tellyour mama lover. But later stage and
I'm like, okay, yeah,I totally forgot to do it, and
I was like it was bad.I like put my phone up. I'm

(22:03):
like, we're gonna look at thistomorrow. Ye go make a whiskey diet
coke, of course, and you'llbe fine and you'll be already. Yeah.
No, I forgot to say ittotally. It just slipped my mind.
It was just one of those likeit was a great show and it
was like the energy was super bigand we were just rocking out, me
in the band, and I justtotally supped my mind. Sometimes you're just
having too much fun, you forget, you forget all the good stuff.
I was like, never again, where did it come from? Is it's

(22:25):
just something you just started to say. I have no I think it was
a TikTok. I think I justsaid it at the end, just because
I had like five second stuff onthe TikTok and I didn't know how to
TikTok when I started doing it.And people now they're like, well,
you know all about TikTok. I'mlike, actually, I have no idea
what I'm really I just post stuffand it just happened. But I think
I just said it, and thenlike people started comment I just said it
a couple of times and then itjust became like tagline, just say it.

(22:47):
And It's funny when people come toshows like we brought we brought our
mom and I'm just like, Ilove you. I do love you,
but like I just met you,Janet, it was great to see you.
I love you so much, likePatty and yeah, so Patty,
Patty, we love you, Pattyabout shout out to Patty. Yeah,
I'm like, okay, I guessI'll tell you I love me in this
bar. I'm not a cool hilariousOh my goodness. Well, I am

(23:08):
really excited about this EP of yoursand you're going back on tour with Megan
Maroni. What are some of yourgoals for the rest of this year.
Oh. Um, we have acouple more songs we're working on. Um,
we're about to start working on arecord because I love my team.
We're insane, we all are,and it's like, all right, projects
out, next thing, and soit's like, now, let's look at
the record. So we're kind ofwriting towards like that, and I kind

(23:30):
of know like what I need forthe record and whatnot. We already know
what we're gonna call it. Weknow what the singles are, which is
great. Um, I don't havea record deal, so we're kind of,
you know, just like in thatindependent like I'm gonna I'm gonna ruin
this. It's like I don't knowhow to spell. So whatever you said,
it's perfect. I got the justindependent. Um. But yeah,

(23:51):
I mean I'm like I said,independent artists have a publishing deal, which
is great. And I have youknow, my producers Jonathan Singleton and Bensonnetti
who they do Zat Brown Band andLuke Combs. I mean, they're heavy
hitters, are great and it's funbeing in the studio with them. But
like I said, we're working onsome more stuff. But I mean kind
of just like waiting on the rightdeal to come along, and like as
these shows pop up, like youknow, go play all these shows and
go back on tour. I think, I'm I think the next six weekends

(24:15):
I'm playing like festivals and whatnot. It's festival season, which is great,
but it's hot out there, soI drink your water, literally drink your
water. I try to limit mydiet coke and take until after the show.
Tried to water throughout the day.I'm mike a beer in there every
once in a while, because youknow, why not, you have to
have fun. I mean, forthe love of God, What's what's your
beer of choice? Uh, michelobUltra, then Miller, Like we drink

(24:36):
a lot of Miller Light in college, and then Coors Light. I actually
had a friend I love Courseline.I had a friend that worked for course.
She was like an intern and herjob in college was like to give
away X amount of beer a weekand then this was yeah, and she
was like, my job is justso hard. And her job was like
she had to go like for twelvehours a week to bars or parties or
something and hand out Coors Light. You're like, open your fridge. Just

(25:00):
text would be like, I needto get rid of these, and I'm
like, come on, like andshe but she would bring thirty six packs.
But like what a dream in college? Free beer? It was great,
But yeah, cores. I likea Coors Light. Yeah, but
those are the beers that I throwin. They're kind of like two o'clock.
I'm like, I don't go untilseven, just a little She just
needs something to take the edge offjust a little bit. I love that.

(25:22):
Well, we do this thing toend the podcast. There's a little
gumball machine right next to you,and there are random questions in there.
There's one waiting for you, sogood luck. I don't know what it
says, but I took the topoff because literally nobody can open the tops.
It always takes them like five minutesto get the tops off. So
I saved you a little bit oftime. If you could have dinner with
anyone dead or alive, who wouldit be? Oh god, just one

(25:45):
person or a group. I mean, you can write this story. Probably
Steve Harvey. Okay, I'm abig fan of family feud like a dream
of my new mine too. Yes, I was just like in another dreams,
I just want to host it onetime. Just give me one,
just one episode. I don't wantto do it for twenty years. Just

(26:06):
give me one episode. I'd loveto do it. I feel like you
would crush it, would give meone. Just give me one episode.
But Steve Harvey, he's funny. He lives in Atlanta. I've driven by
his house before creep on the wayto a friend's house and they're like,
that's Steve's house and I'm like,I'm like, that gate is sixteen feet.
I'm just gidding. Go knock onthe door and he'd be great.
But yeah, like a cigar,Let go to a steak dinner, Okay,

(26:27):
have a glass of wine or twowith Steve Harvey and then smoke a
cigar afterwards. Dream heck, yes, I mean I feel like, I
mean, that's that's got, that'sdoable. I feel like that's very,
very doable. And I feel likeSteve too, like I don't know.
I always follow him on social mediaand he always post these videos of just
like these like inspirational messages and I'mlike, dude, come on, Steve

(26:48):
funny. I mean, you'll lie. Because I watched like his old stand
up like when he was in Kid. I'm a big fan of comedy.
I think that's where I kind ofget some of my humor. Totally love
comedy, like any comedy special thatcomes out on Netflix, Sit me on
couch and I'm ready for it.I'm ready for it. But yeah,
he's funny. I watched all thisstuff. I'm a big fan of family
if you always haven't been, butyeah, Steve Harvey, that's definitely.
We got a guest host for SteveHarvey TV on Instagram. I know it

(27:12):
already because I follow him to heposts every day. It's like I wake
up the first thing I see ishim yelling at me again in the gym,
and I'm like, get something somethinggood for yourself yet, But yeah,
no, that's that's my that's mydinner. I love that. I
hope maybe one day, everybody inthe comments right now, tax steam,
everybody, tax tea. Let's getyou to dinner. Steve Hardy, Steve
text him, just thowing a favorite. Just I'm a good day. He'd

(27:33):
