of credit, but she is amazing, absolutely amazing.

time that I went back to college and went for

You do realize, Lisa, if you are going to be

Speaker 1 (05:26):
And where is Jordan graduating from.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
James Madison University in Virginia.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Okay. In case anybody that needs a new financial person,
they can contact you and let's get Jordan hired before
summer's over.

Speaker 3 (05:46):

Speaker 1 (05:57):
What can I do for you tonight?

Speaker 3 (05:59):
Thank you?

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Thank you?

Speaker 6 (06:01):
Who're so excited because as kids on the way home
from the Jersey shore, my son and daughter, and we
used to listen to you all the way home from
the Jersey Shore. They loved you. But when you said
something about graduation, I said, you know, I have to
call her and tell her about my daughter. Megan. She's
thirty eight years old now has five sons. When she

(06:24):
got pregnant with her first son, she was in her
last year of college. She had her son, Wyatt, who's
fifteen now, then got married, then bought a house, then
had four more sons after that, and she started dinner
at the dinner table. One night, they were talking about college,

(06:44):
because why it's fifteen, and they were asking questions. Daddy
whered to go to college? What'd you get? And when
they said, Mommy, where'd you go to college? What degree
did you get? She said, well, I never finished college
and they were like, what what do you mean? So
she got kind of embarrassed, but at that moment she said,

(07:05):
you know what, I'm going to prove something to my
son's and I'm getting choked up now. So that September
she went back to school and she just walked on
May ninth and got her degree from Georgie and Court University.
And I am so proud of her.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Got a little busy with planning birthday parties and going
to orthodontist appointments and cleaning a house and sporting Evincent
soccer and soccer and soccer and baseball and basketball, and
finally she said, oh, wait a minute, wait a minute,
I forgot about mama's dreams.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
Right right, And she did it. And when she walked
across that stage on May ninth, we was so proud
of her that we were over the moment.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Hi Fran scene, Welcome to the Delilah Show. What can
I do for you?

Speaker 7 (08:04):
I wanted to make a dedication to someone really special
in my life.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Who are you thinking of tonight?

Speaker 4 (08:11):
My mom?

Speaker 7 (08:12):
I wanted to make this dedication because she's the most
wonderful person I know, and I just love her so much.
And I'm currently a senior in high school and I'm
going to college soon, and I'm just like thinking about
how much I'm going to miss her.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Where are you going? How far away are you going
from home?

Speaker 7 (08:31):
It's not that far, but it's like an hour or two.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
So close enough that you can come home on weekends
and get lots of Mama hugs, far enough that you
can start to form your circle of friends and make
life choices. Yes, I hate the thought of my kids
growing up and moving away. I really do. I've only
got a couple left at home, and I don't know

(08:57):
what I'm going to do. But I will play a
song for Mama to let her know how much you
love her.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
Oh, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
All Right, you have a great night. I so hope
you have enjoyed these radio moments as much as I
enjoy bringing them to you. I'll share more with you
each weekday on Hey It's Delilah.
