Com. Oh all right, wedon't have this plus of a stupid story
pot for you today is normal becauseI don't know show prep some of us

(00:23):
down to day, but just siftingthrough and trying to rake them up for
your Optimist Prime in the news,he gets arrested. Shut the front door.
Sometimes, even if wisest, aman in machine can make an error,
said Optimist Prime. And Transformers.Well, there's a man in Texas
who knows that all too well, because law enforcement officials last week, well

(00:44):
this past weekend arrested Arnest God OptimistPrime. He legs he stole a vehicle.
Austin police said, uh, andarrest Affidavid for Optimist Prime Blakely,
who's been charged with unauthorized use ofa motor vehicle. His actual legal name
Optimist Prime Blakely. He changed hisname with the Optimist Prime. Wow,

(01:12):
pretty bold name for a guy withouta car. Optimists stopped by Opicers on
Tune fourth after he was seen drivinga vehicle. There was a port is
stolen and it looks like uh asa robot in disguise. Optimist Prime took
cover in a red and blue semitruck. There's no description of the vehicle

(01:33):
stop by Austin police. That's funny, optimistly like, that's a commitment.
Man. What's your name? OptimistPrime? Right to go legally change it
to that. That's a little sketchy. Ladies, call that a red flag.
Feel free to call that a redflag? You all right with that

(01:53):
one? How awkward at the wedding? Do you? Optimist Prime? Take
this one? Man? Auto boughtsroll out all right. Boston police are
searching for two men accused of wellstealing over two hundred thousand dollars in cash.

(02:13):
Wow, so, police said thevictim that would draw money from a
Berkshire bank in Finway and later setinside of it. I guess inside of
his car outside of his check cashingbusiness. Now that's why it was getting
two hundred thousand dollars in cash. He's a check cashing business, gotcha.

(02:37):
That's plausible, I guess right.At first, I was like, what's
this dude doing two hundred thousand dollarsin cash? Damn? So he has
a check cashing business. Boston Policesaid two men walked up to the car
wearing badges at nine twenty six inthe morning say that they had a warrant
for the victim's arrest. The twomen dragged the man out, who's a

(03:00):
eventy six year old man? Ohwow? Yeah. They took off the
vehicle and the cash inside of it. Police later found the car an empty
money bag, but not the robbers. They're looking for these guys. Still,
what's the most amount of cash you'veever had on you? You ever

(03:23):
had two hundred grand? No?No, you ever had one hundred grand?
I know sometimes you do cash transistionsfor cars. That's still a lot
of money for uh no, Ican't. I think maybe thirty thirty five

(03:43):
thousand somewhere in that ballpark. Okay, the most I ever had cash,
and it was for a cardial. How much job was? In hundreds?
Twenties hundreds? Doesn't think I'm verymuch Triman doesn't. No, No,
I mean you can get two hundredthousand dollars in one hundreds in the backpack
right really easy, So I knowthere still a lot of money. Man.

(04:05):
Yeah, you know what, that'sa that's life changing. Money,
right there, cash two hundred Yeah, that changes life. So gona give
me two hundred thousand. I'll showyou all right, I guess Bad Boys
Right or Die had a fifty sixmillion dollar opening this weekend, far better

(04:28):
than they expected. Oh that's betterthan they expected. Yeah, okay,
they said. It's the fourth installmentof the Will Smith Martin Lawrence Actual comedy
series, opening at a fifty sixmillion dollars theaters over the weekend. It's,
let's see, much bigger, biggersuccess than what they imagine Will Smith.
It's his big biggest success since hegot well, oh since he slapped

(04:51):
Chris Rock at the Academy Awards andthey're calling it, oh, where's that
at? His comeback? Will Smith'scomeback? This is the comeback, uh
huh? With a fifty six milliondollars over the weekend, Will Spread is
back? Is he back? Maybefor some people? I don't know.

(05:13):
I'm kind of at that point whereI mean, for what was it maybe
a month or two after the slap, that's all you saw on TV was
him. I feel like we gotoversaturated with with Will Smith. I'm still
not It's gonna be a while tillI want to see a Will Smith movie.
Oh why that offended you? No, just we got so inundated with

(05:35):
just so much Will Smith. Yeahwhatever, I'm like, didn't occupy any
time in my mind. I'm like, yeah, just stupid movies I'm never
going to see Yeah right, broright he plays the same character in every
movie. Yeah, yeah, that'sthe problem. All right. So if
you do ride shares, if youdo deliveries, if you do like you

(06:00):
know people that do Lyft and Uber, they also do like Uber eats,
I would assume. So, yeah, so between picking up people and food,
they just have that. If they'renot picking up any person, they
could switch over to Uber eats maybe, right, right, Yeah. I
think they're always driving for something, whether they're picking people up or going to

(06:23):
get food. I think they're alwayssame person, always hustling. Yeah.
Yeah, Well there's been apparently abig sowing demand for moped scooters and smaller
bikes in big cities for delivery services. Oh okay, and apparently these these
cities like Boston, New York,Washington, d c. I started cracking

(06:44):
down on delivery companies. They've beenissuing warning letters season illegal illegally registered vehicles
and launching street patrols to enforce speedlimits. I want to see a little
cop cops scooter jump pull over, pull over. Fiveeen Cops on scooters couldn't

(07:13):
afford the real bike. Hunh it'sa little blue siren on the front,
or even better on their helmets.Baby steps, baby steps. Anyway,
Apparently these scooters have been causing alot of uh well a lot of cities
a headache, so they start crackingdown on them. Dude, I want
to say. In a letter thisweek to the food delivery companies DoorDash,

(07:33):
grub Hub, Uber, Boston officialscited an alarming increase an unlawful and dangerous
operation of motorcycles, mopads and motorsmotorized scooters. Where's the Oh here this
they put drivers, motorists and otherpedestrians in imminent danger. That's the line.

(08:01):
I was like, Oh, they'rereally going big on these things.
Imminent danger. We are all inimminent danger due to that little time scooter.
When I hear imminent that means likeit's time to go to the tornado
shelter. Like it's I feel likepeople are invading when it's imminent danger.
Yes, not a personal scooter, but the the law enforcement guys said,

(08:24):
we're all in imminent danger. Thisletter alleged to some drivers operating unregistered vehicles
breaking traffic laws, warned of animminent crackdown on these vehicles like it also
demanded that the companies explain how theycan ensure the drivers are operating safely,

(08:48):
to which the company is like,we can't. And next, New York,
listen to this man, New York. They've already seized thirteen thousand scooters
and mopi this year alone. Wow, and they crush a bunch of them.
They crush more than two hundred illegalmopads and delivery vehicles, you know,
to prove their point. I couldsee that being very popular in New

(09:11):
York though, especially with you know, not as many people own cars there,
a lot of people order delivery foreverything. Yeah, I could see
that being as Eric Adams says, the Mayor of New York City, they
have terrorized many of our pedestrians, particularly our seen older adults. That's just
like you said, the ones thatare too fragile to get out of the

(09:33):
right right in imminent danger. Writerswho think the rules don't apply to them.
They're going to see the aggressive enforcementpolicy that's in place you get Americ
the drivers, it says the drivers, many of them immigrants from Latin American
countries but also from West Africa SouthAsia, say they are just trying to

(09:54):
earn a living and they are providinga service that get customer their food fast.
We're not all bad, says LuisLopez, a delivery driver from the
Dominican Republic who spoke to the AssociatedPress on Friday from his motorcycle in the
area multiple fast food restaurants near theBoston Public Library. He said, we

(10:16):
come to work, we earn aliving, we pay rent, and we
send some back to our families. That's their goals. Lopez came to the
US about three years ago. Acknowledgedthat he and other drivers are driving on
registered vehicles. They've been seeing runningred lights, diving onto the sidewalks,

(10:41):
menacing pedestrians. I'm not sure whatthat is, you know, and they're
just they caused a little bit ofa headache, I'm sure for a lot
of pedestrians people, and I thinkthe big deal is they're just diving on
sidewalks and scoot around through there.I could see that being an issue,
you know. He said he waspart of the group of ten delivery drivers

(11:03):
outside of a Chick fil A onThursday night. And I guess they just
wait out popping the restaurants to waitfor people to order it. They just
run and grab their food and rollout to him. Oh okay, but
it's funny, man, when yougo and read the story. Most of
them, honestly got most of themare lawless and are unregistered and whatever.

(11:24):
But they don't really seem to care. They're like, and what we decided
here to make it? Hey,we start here making a living. You
still got to do it, youknow, with the proper tags and registrations
and all that stuff. You know, stay off the sidewalk, stop running

(11:45):
over and menacing pedestrians. An idiotairman, This US Air Force captain.
Now he's being investigated. He's postinga video of himself driving his Tesla cyber
truck. Oh look at me,bitch, cyber truck. I'm driving with
one pinky woo, look out fast, I'm going oooh, look at me.

(12:05):
This dumb ass. This dude isa He's a damn Air Force captain.
What are you doing anyway? Hisname is Matthew Wallace. He was
identified as the driver He Koreem's downa quiet Las Vegas street. Wallace,
who is stationed at the Creech AirForce Base in southern Nevada, kept his

(12:28):
foot on the accelerator tuntuntun and thenumber on the speedometor climbs. Oh,
how high did it go? Oh? Let's see Wallace. Uh, the
electricar hums up as it pick speeds. Look. This says in an article
that ranch houses and pine trees blurby, Oh, blurby. At one

(12:56):
point, these sixty eight hundred poundsvehicle accelerates to eighty three miles an hour.
Ranch housand and pine trees are ablur. Come on, man,
can't focus on anything at eighty three. Hudo's going so fast. Everything was
just a blur beside me, Iwas going so fast? How fast man?

(13:18):
Two hundred and ninety, No eightythree, bro, I was doing
eighty three anyway. The videos promptedthe US Air Force to investigate the incident.
Somebody's in trouble to me. Notthat this was in a neighborhood too.
This was residential streets, not highway. Yeah, highway speed. He
shouldn't have been doing eighty three drivingwith his pinky to show how easy.

(13:43):
The cyberge truck motivates like that's allhe's doing is showing off the cyber truck.
Really, really, the big problemhere is that he posted it to
social media. Yeah, and thenhe posted to social media. Look,
man, I don't know when peoplegot to learn this lesson. You can't
post things to social media breaking alaw anymore. They can find you that
matter who you are. Stop postingthings if you're breaking the law on social

(14:05):
media, ask clown, because really, you could do like ninety in a
residential and as long as nobody postssocial media, you'll be okay. But
if you're the one doing it,don't post it to social media. Just
stupid ass, clown, what adummy, And don't do ninety in residential
or eighty three or eighty None ofit looks good? All right? Airbnb,

(14:30):
this is the wild story of theday. Can you imagine like for
some people having a rental property oran airbnb, it's just a you know,
it's a layer of side hustle totheir portfolio. Right, They've got,
you know, plan to do somepassive income type things and maybe the
real property is you know, somemeans of doing that. Not everybody that

(14:54):
owns a rental place is like justloaded up like big baller, you know,
shot collar deal. It's not thatway. Sometimes they inherit a house
and they can't afford the taxes andstuff, so they have to airbnb it
out to right recoup those things.Well, this crazy story out of North
Carolina, a month long Airbnb rentalhas become a nightmare for a North Carolina

(15:20):
host because renders refuse to leave. The single parent and the triangle is out
of money is now having to fightto get a property back. They're refusing
to leave until there's an eviction order, which is kind of crazy. This
all started with this woman's Airbnb gasmade a long term rental reservation through Airbnb.

(15:43):
They checked out on October twenty fifthwith a checkout date, or they
checked in I should say on Octobertwenty fifth with checkout date of May twenty
fourth. Well, the clean ladywith clean the rental and the renners were
still there. They danced at thedoor and they told the clean lady,
no, we haven't moved, doubt. She said she should have come back
tomorrow. They said, no,don't come back at all. We're not

(16:03):
moving. Oh that's bold, right, They went to the rental. The
owner went to the rental with police, and the renters promise the police officer
they would leave first thing in themorning. Next morning, the renters still
there. Oh. Instead, ahandwritten no transpersing sign was on the front

(16:26):
door stated we will vacate the propertywhen you filed the proper paperwork and civil
magistrict court for an eviction for weare legal residents of this home. Oh
squatting. Huh yeah, this ismy place and I mean I'm counting on

(16:47):
this income my sons in college.I'm a single parent. This woman explains
she contacted Airbnb for help as shealready had another long term read her book
through Airbnb, ready to you know, move in. She said, Airbnb
has not been helpful. They're sendme messages and you know, basically saying

(17:10):
that you know, you could takethe legal legal avenue to get them out,
that she should pursue the legal avenuesto get them out. Well,
the legal avenues are months long scenarios. Jacked up, man, That's where
it's jacked up. Anyway. Soevery and B does have on its website

(17:34):
sections voted to things to consider beforehosting monthly stays. Airbnb WARN's host,
oh one's host who have guests whostay for a month or longer, they
may not be able to remove aguest without going to court. AIRBMB has

(17:55):
that, oh man, and anyguest that says longer than ninety days is
typically considered a holdover tenant, andthat means more rules for them. Oh
so it's more difficult to get themout of your house as a holdover tenant.

(18:17):
Could you call the power company andhave them turn the power off to
your place or the water turn thewater? I believe so because I know
if they're like legal rights in theirname, renters can put it in their
name. Sometimes if that's the case, they don't have a shut off,
you know. Yikes. She hadto file eviction paperwork with the courts and

(18:41):
they're trying to, you know, process it as soon as they can,
but it may be thirty to fortyfive days for the courts to process it
and issue an eviction notice, evenat a hurried up pace. So these
these renters are these you know whateversquatters are basically gonna live there for two

(19:04):
to three more months for free. And that's at the shortest timeline. What
shady ass people, man? Ithink those kinds of people need to be
exposed. Yeah, there's because there'slittle loopos that make it difficult. And
you know, you're taking away thatwoman's only income man, you know,
like damn or at least a bigchunk of it, and so far,

(19:27):
and she's got to paid COREK costs. You imagine that costs a lot,
you know, So there's just alot of costs involved that sucks. I'd
be able to get them out,Yeah, I'd moved back and moved back
in, and they would like meas a roommate, just saying
