À l’occasion de la sortie du Temps du rêve, recueil bilingue, japonais-français, de haïkus de Seegan Mabesoone aux éditions Pippa, Aurélien Rossanino reçoit le poète français expatrié au Japon dans les Balades Culturelles Franco-Taïwanaises.
Lauréat du 79ème prix de l’Association du haïku moderne – le premier étranger à recevoir cette distinction –, Seegan Mabesoone est à l’origine d’une révolution stylistique dans la poésie japonaise en ayant créé le « mukuku », haïku animiste dont il éclairera les dimensions esthétiques et thématiques. Dans son dernier recueil, l’Homme semble avoir disparu…
À l’occasion de cet entretien, Seegan Mabesoone, spécialiste et traducteur de Kobayashi Issa, évoquera aussi son apprentissage de la poésie japonaise, notamment auprès du maître Tōta Kaneko, son parcours au Japon, où il est installé depuis 1996, et ses liens avec la Polynésie française, car il est aussi l’auteur d’un recueil titré Haïkus aux Marquises – entre autres nombreuses publications.
