Speaker 1 (00:09):

(00:59):
are taking the party bus from Orlando to winter Haven.
Are there any tickets? I think there's a handful of
tickets still left for the party bus.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
And it was crazy on Friday. All these people were like,
I can't get tickets. I don't understand. I'm like, obviously,
you just go and you click on it. There wasn't
there was a little snaffo. I guess if you looked
out from a mobile browser, there was no button to click.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
That was the problem. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
People hit me up on Instagram.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
And my Facebook all day and I'm like, I'm answering
back with the actual link to it.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
But that problem has been fixed.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
So if you go to real Radio DONFM slash Ryan,
there's a lot it's underlined. I've checked it on three
different phone browsers now and it says get tickets. You
just click that you can go there. But I have
no idea if all the tickets are sold, how close
or close to being sold. I got a message into
Jack Bradshaw, but it is seven in the morning, Yeah
it is early y so, and his notifications were on silence.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Somebody on the Texas Service was complain, Oh yeah, you
expect us to go out to winter Haven get drunk
and then we got to drive home. That's why we
have a party.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
But bus stupid doucer.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, I don't complain, there'll be a negative nelly. Wait,
we were in a bus, uh for fifty people. But
if you're in the winter Haven area, uh, you know
to come out get your tickets. But you know, I
can't get you. Uh, the folks of the Moose slodges.
You wanted me to get them ringside. I'm like, you're
gonna have to, uh, you know, get him yourself.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
So you didn't let it hook your moose brother up.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
I don't get tickets, you know, I'm just there.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
You don't get tickets. You make the ticket.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
No, no, no, that's tanners. I'm just the chicken on
a hot plate.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Man.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
I'm just doing the dancing. Uh, I'm just doing the entertaining.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
So you get your tickets by going to real Radio
Monsters dot com. That's real Radiomonsters dot com, and you
can get tickets for the bus to winter Haven and
the uh you know, the match that night. All of
us will be there. Daisy's coming out, Angel's gonna be
spending tunes. Uh, he'll be your DJ to kick the
party off, and uh and Angela's coming. We're all gonna
be there, So it's gonna be It's gonna be awesome.
That's the first time we've ever gone to winter Haven.
(02:49):
And uh, I can't wait for y'all to feel the
love uh that they have for the monsters out there.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
I don't be feeling no love after what your last
segment and talk about your love that you flegg the field.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
I don't want to talk.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
About Well, I'll be in wrestling.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Then I didn't check my email.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Is the private party VIP party at Russ's house still
on it?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Yeah? Right right afterwards? Yeah, okay, jump on the boat
and we'll boat right back to the house and start
a bonfire.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
Are you taking the boat there?
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah, I'm taking the boat there. Nice.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
You're giving free pontoon rides.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
I'm not giving the free pontoon rides. There's another company, Hillman.
I think it's brought to you by Hillman Motors that
are going to be doing free pontoon rides only for
the folks that come on the party bus.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Can we race you on the other pontoon.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
You can't race my pontoon, but my pond as fast
as they come. I got that. I got that Zazuki engine,
the stealth engine. Oh my pontoon will go thirty five
miles per hour. Man.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Oh yeah, So tell.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Me about Boxy Park that all the video looked great.
Angel and Ryan were invited to host It's a country event,
which is kind of crazy. The little inside stuff, like
all the stations that we have here at iHeart, Like
we don't have a country station. So whenever a country
thing comes up, because you.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Know, we talk about country every once in a while,
listener demo, it's basically out of all the stations, our
listener demo. They you know, it's been profiled whatever, and
so there we do have a strong base of listening. Listen,
I listened to country music.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Which is awesome. So they we fit for that. And
so tell us what happened, what happened yesterday?
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Well, first of all, I want to discuss something that
that it bothers me a little bit and I always
assumed it, but I learned it for real, which is
that we work for iHeart Media here, the monsters collectively,
we work for iHeart but we don't work for that
version of iHeartMedia. What do you mean, Like, there's the
(04:46):
version of iHeartMedia that came out to Boxy Park for
the Bailey Zimmerman concert. That's iHeartMedia. What do you mean
It's almost like they forgot about us.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
It's entirely, entirely Russ Rollins. You're not going to grab
this at all, I don't think, because you've you know,
you've gotten to experience a different kind of role in
all this, but it is a remarkably different experience when
I heart corporate steps steps in, yeah, steps in, and
all these people from New York and from all these
(05:18):
different places, and they treat you or us like, uh,
like talent, They treat they with the utmost respect.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
I was like, Ryan Seacrest, really good again it is uh.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
And the joke this has been said for quite some time,
and I'm with Ryan. This is probably the most blatantly
obvious experience that I've had where I'm like, this is
what we've always talked about.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, this is this is why we should be treated.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
This is where we are not working for this now.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
Because I got there, I expected fully like, all right,
I'm gonna go there. I'm gonna have probably a stand
outside on the sidelines all day. It's gonna be a
long day. First of all, my call to was eleven am.
Show doesn't even start till two, and I'm like, okay,
im gonna stand there. And I get there and a
staff of people come up to me and they're like
like headsets on, like talent here, talent here, and I'm
(06:12):
like me, you're looking around and then they bring me.
Speaker 4 (06:17):
They're like, do you need a new water? They hand
me a Fiji water.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
They hand me a sandwich from Honey Baked Ham.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
This is the way Jack should be treating us all
the time.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
No, this is this is even above Jack.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
I don't think Jack has he could do.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
No.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Jack doesn't get it either. Anybody at Real Radio does
not get this.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
And then they're like, well we get hey, we have
an area for you, uh, and we're just gonna set
you up there. And I'm thinking like, okay, you got
to pop up tent and I'm gonna sit under it.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Cool.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Thanks, And then they bring me over to it, full
ass r V trailerler that says.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
My name on it. Yes, my name says Angel's name
on it.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
And it was air conditions.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Get inside, the coolest of ac is blowing.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
There's a bridge filled with SODA's, Fiji water beers. Uh.
And then I'm like, there's a coffee station, there's a
there's a place for me to do my hair, full
makeup kit.
Speaker 4 (07:11):
Ready to go.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Really, oh my god, I'm like and I'm like and
I'm I'm very much in this moment doing the act
like you're supposed to be here, so I'm I'm while
the staff is with me, I'm just like, of course
you guys did this. Why would you not thank you
so much?
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Thank you?
Speaker 4 (07:25):
And the door closes and I go wow, wow, wow,
look at all this stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
I mean there was like charcuteries.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Oh yeah, so there was all there first. There was
like chips and cookies and stuff, and I'm like, oh cool,
look at all this chips and they're all for us,
Like I'm like a kid in a candy store. But
then a man named Noah comes in with this like
very large, very fancy charcuterie board.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
You got a charcooterie, the most one of the nicest
charcuteriie boards.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
How do we get treated like that?
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Normaleah, That's what I'm saying. There's there's uh, there's a
couple of stations that probably get to experience out here. Excel.
Yeah we got that.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Excel works for this version of iHeart works for this
version of iHeart Real Radio.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
It's like they just like forgot about us and we
live in a basement.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Yeah, we are the bastard, redhead step child.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
We don't get we bring in the most money.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yeah, we don't get brought up into being invited to
these kinds of things were we were we were an afterthought. Again,
I be honest with you, no, no, no, no. Understand
being the rebel and being and being treated like this,
It's we're not talking the same thing, dude. We could
still get treated like this and be the rebel. No. Again,
(08:38):
it was absolutely first class professionalism being escorted everywhere on
talking to different people from iHeart that came from New
York and we're like, wow, that Ryn, that's a that's
a that's a job like you could you could be
an ar for I Heart. What the staff, behind the scenes, staff,
(08:58):
the way that they set up the state my sound check. Uh,
just are our handler, Megan?
Speaker 4 (09:05):
She was handling had a handler.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
She checked in on us constantly and consistently, Hey do
you got do you need anything? The rush rollins again,
this has nothing like Again, we could be that we
are the rebels of iHeart iHeart Media. Yes we are,
but we can also be treated like this when we
are be it. How about this include us in these
(09:28):
kinds of events like we can do the what was
the Christmas event.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
That did jingle ball?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
You could include us in jingle balls. It doesn't always
have to be uh magic or or X or excel.
We could we can handle that. And that's what that's
what we proved to them yesterday. It's like, oh, what
do you guys do? Yeah, talk radio guys, boss. Yeah, okay,
that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
That's that.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
There was a guy, one of the guys of the
crew that helped us set up the stage. He was like,
he was bragging on us. He was telling everybody else like,
oh no, you don't know these guys, these guys been
number one forever in the morning show here blah blah,
and he was part of the crew. He's schooling everybody
else there.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
We got him like he was there.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Oh yeah, he's done. We've done stuff with him before
in the past time.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Okay. Yeah. So so you got there and you're being
treated the way you feel like you should be treated.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
So it's so beautiful, Like in our trailer was right now.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
You look, you both dressed well. You looked as country
as you can look. You know.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, well, I mean I I put on my my
fancy outfit for sure.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Yeah you were you were country without being fake, you
know what I'm saying. Same with Angel you had you know,
it fit, but it wasn't overboard.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Yeah, well I'm not gonna wear a cowboy hat, and
I don't think he pulls a whole lot of cowboy
hat crowd. Yeah, no, it was a younger demo.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
I don't realize how big he actually was.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
Like he's got he's got YouTube videos with like one
hundred and seventeen million views.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
And what's Bailey Zimmerman.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Bailey's always think it's a girl, Bailey's he's a guy.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
It's a guy.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Yeah, because you're thinking about Bailey Callahan, you are correct.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
So it's crazy.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
But yeah, we had big like New York Corporate is there,
and to see the behind the scenes of this production
was actually really interesting and all the companies that come
together to make this whole thing happen.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
But yeah, I can't go back, Russ, What am I
gonna do?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
What am I gonna do?
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Stand out in front of a car dealership again under
a Tanpion hot I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah, we also might not get invited back because Ry
is shared with me.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
So Ry got there a little bit before I pulled Ryan.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Yeah right, I read the wrong email and so I
got there thirty minutes before I did. He's like where
are you. I was like, I'll be there at thirty minutes,
and then come to find out we were supposed to
be there at eleven. But so Ryde gets there and
he he's the first one that runs into the suits,
and so you tell them about thees. You guys write
a lot of emails and they're like, what are you?
Speaker 1 (11:45):
What'd you do?
Speaker 3 (11:46):
Okay, So I don't deal with the corporate side that much.
The most corporate I deal with is really just Jack
Bradshaw a.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
Meeting afterwards on Thay. You did sleep for most of it, exactly.
You barely pay attention him nuts I sent up.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
For seven hours of that point.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
But I'll see Rick Everett in the hallways and I'll
say hi.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
That's about it for that.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
But I don't deal with like the corporate corporate even
even big Boss Judy.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
I don't see her that often.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Yeah, So these.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Guys have like the like they're executive vice president of iHeart,
you know.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
What I mean, like big deal, big wigs.
Speaker 3 (12:23):
And so I get there and I'm just trying to
find people and I'm and I don't I really only
have like a couple of names. So I'm just like
asking around and I don't know who anybody is. Just
gave me names to look for. So I big, big,
executive vice president of iHeart the guy just below him.
I don't know this at the time. I don't know
this at the time. I just think they're just guys
(12:44):
that work for iHeart, like me, like like some slubs
down on the ground level.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
And so they're they're like, oh, are you Ryan, and like, yeah,
like what part do you were for.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
I'm like, I worked for the monsters in real radio
over here, and I'm like, I think these guys are
like tan but radio guys something because they have the
country station in Tampa.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Yeah, And I'm like, yeah, spent that's really cool. But like, man,
it's like I got like forty five.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Emails about this, and I'm like and I'm like, these
jokers love to send emails.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
All I need to do.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
And I'm like, I'm all I need to do is
just show up and just talk, like I don't need
forty five emails for that.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
And then the guys like he points to the.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
Other guy who's like, this is the executive vice president
and well and he goes, he goes, we are a
communication company.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Oh, I mean there were a lot of emails, and
there was a lot of double triple checking and just
confirming everybody in this company.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Stop hitting reply all, stop hitting replies.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
That part. Jack gets mad at me when I don't
do reply all.
Speaker 4 (13:47):
I don't need to play all from everybody.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
He's very specific when it when the conversation confused me, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I could just go back to one person. Why didn't
you tell everybody? I'm like, what do you want?
Speaker 2 (13:59):
You could see everyone that's a part of that conversation,
and in certain instances, everyone in that conversation would would
be helpful if you did the reply off. Well, there's
certain times where you're just talking to Jack, but you
hit reply all to everything.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Well, I do now, because he's got on me a
couple of times. How well I didn't do reply with.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
That stuff that he was the times that he did
it was very specific, like usually.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
I'm going to go back to just one person. Yeah, anyway,
all right, so you you bitch to a to a
vice president.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
Of yeah, like straight from New York, straight up, suit.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
I did not know that.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
That's awesome and it was a bit of an embarrassing all.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Right, I want to hear more about Boxy Park. I
want to hear Angels take on this as well.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
Oh, you can't wait to hear what did Angel pulled
the most Ryan Holmes move I've ever seen.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
I want to hear about that. Uh, and then hear
about Bailey Zimmerman. And and then from what I saw,
it looked like there was a huge crowd, a young crowd.
It was a fantastic All right, we'll tell you more
about Boxy Park event, which was yesterday. By the way,
thanks again to everybody from Trans Siberian Orchestra, everybody that
said hello. The donation was amazing for the karly K
(15:05):
Cancer Screening Fund. I'm going on Wednesday to Light Imaging
FLA to get my screening because early detection saves lives.
So you know, we I'd like to tell you guys,
I think about that this holiday season, but more with
Ryan and Angel when we come back. You're listening to
the mantras in the morning. Welcome back to the Monster's Mornings.
(15:45):
Were Radio one or four point one broadcasting live on iHeartRadio.
It is a Monday. It's our last live Monday of
twenty twenty five. That's crazy. Oh, by the way, there's
still twelve tickets available for the Ryan Holmes Monster Party
Bus from Orlando to winter Haven. Twelve tickets available, So
if you're thinking about going, you want to make sure
(16:05):
you get you get back safe and you can drink
all you want. Jump on that bus and Ryan's gonna
party with you all the way from Orlando to winter
Haven and then you got to ride back afterwards. So
twelve tickets left. Go to real Radiomonsters dot com to
get there. You'll see a little picture of Ryan driving
the bus. Just click on that, or you can go
to real Radio dot fm slash Ryan. He's got his
(16:28):
own you have my own website name on his own website.
I go there, you go so and then there's only
a handful of ringside tickets available as well, So if
you want to get ringside tickets, you better grab them.
I didn't think about that. You know, we're saying they
could upgrade the ringside when they get out there, but
there are going to be sold out of ringside, So
(16:49):
if you want ringside, you may want to just go
get them now. Just go to real Radiomasters dot com.
It's at Tanners on January the sixteenth. All the monsters
out there for a big fun Angels will be DJing
and uh and wrestling is gonna be great anyway. So Angel,
tell me about your experience at Boxing Park. Uh.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
It was absolutely again like in just to echo some
of the things that Ryan said in the in the
sense of uh, we do work for different companies here
there are there are two different companies.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Everything that I in the emails, in all the emails
that were going back and forth, they were asking me, Hey,
what do you need to be on stage? What is
the you know, what do you need for this? This
and this? I submitted all all my requests. Everything was
there on point. I showed up and they're like, uh,
oh hey Angel, the DJ, all right, follow us. And
so I literally walked into the backstage area, walked on stage,
(17:43):
did my check, did all that, and then went and
hung out with Ryan and ate snacks and really yeah,
but it was again it was really it's a really
cool experience. It's a really cool thing to see that
part of our company when it comes to UH production
and on a show, and just like all the they're
(18:03):
very very detailed oriented. And that was that was a
neat experience and in that regard So how about the
concert itself?
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Concert was cool Man.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Uh again, Uh, I'm familiar with Bailey Zimmerman, but I
can't say that I'm familiar with his like whole catalog.
Like someone's try to get at me. It's like, oh,
I'm surprised you don't know who he would who he
is Angel. He was on the X you know, Faster
and Fearus X soundtrack. Oh yeah, cool. That's not the
best soundtrack, so that's probably why I didn't pick up
on it. Sorry. You know, it's like they get.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
That it looks cool guys. Yeah, Geico was a sponsor.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
Yeah, shout out to Geico and uh. And then there's
a they're gonna do more of these this, you know,
the upcoming year, so hopefully, well we'll be uh included
in some of those. The kid was he was a
cool kid. You could tell he's young. We got we
got a moment with him about how old is he?
I think he's twenty four to twenty five.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Two of my friends went out there, Kim Hooker and
and Mary Beth were out there. I saw him.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Yeah, you see, I bought me from the stage. I
saw them. Yeah, but yeah, you know, and the fan
base that was out there there. They really loved him,
singing along with him and everything, and.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Uh, it looks like a young crowd.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
It was a really cool, young mixed crowd. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Angel did the thing that I would hate the most
to do, though, like and he loves it. That's Angel
legitimately loves being a DJ. But he like the show
was from two till five, the actual like from gates
open till closing out right and Angel the guy the
Bailey's immering is only on stage for like forty five
minutes and at the most. But the rest of the time,
(19:32):
Angel's up there just DJ. Yeah, just looking at the
crowd and staring and he's doing a great job DJ.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
But like for me, I'd be like, I don't know
where to look. I'm just like, do I stare at
the pole? Get too much in your head? Yeah, I
can't do that, man.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
I'm good for the five minute bursts that I'm doing.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
But he's up there crushing as a DJ.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Though.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
I think it was like feeling out, like the vibe
of it all, and once once he locked it in,
these people he's like they had eat out the palm
of his hand.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
It's really cool to see.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
What was it? What is it that Angel did that
was Ryan Holmes? Dumb dumb thing. I got to hear that.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
I've never seen this, man, the silliest thing in my life.
This is funny.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
Like when we do an event like this, there's there's
actually multiple companies that have to come together to do
it because like we got Geico, you know, the main sponsors,
So they got their people out there doing stuff. Then
oh yeah they're doing activations. Yeah, they're doing activation. I
had to learn what the term activation?
Speaker 1 (20:28):
Men, what does that mean? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Still, so Geico was okay, So well, uh, this is
again this is the corporate speaking that Ryan was talking
about in regards to when we're doing an event like
this and we have Geico is a huge sponsor. Well,
Geico is on site. They have a tent there and
everything and so uh and they have people manning the
tent and everything is yeah, rush, Like I kid you, not.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
The biggest event I've done for sure.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Yeah, with all the things that we've done, this this
is up there.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
As far as I heeart caring about what we do.
This is literally the biggest.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
They were like Ryan was given the cards, Hey, you
got to hit these points. Yeah, and there was rewrites
and everything.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Oh my cards got rewritten several times.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
So ge goes on site, they have a tent up,
they got their people up, there's a QR code and everything.
So a way that they measure in our interactivity and
everything and activation is how many people you get to
go to the tent do the QR code? Take the
pictures because again that screen that was behind me, that
was probably one of the coolest screens whatsoever. And so
(21:28):
they were taking the images that the people were uploading
there at the event, they're throwing them up on stage
behind you and everything. So that's a version of an activation.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Yeah, I didn't know that. So they're like, hey, it
says on this card. It's like, hey, you have to go.
You have to go make sure Geico gets activations.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
And I'm like, I now.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Know that I put my foot in my mouth with
in front of the executive vice president, not the emails
and the guy just below him. So I have to
like subtly ask like what does that mean?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Does this mean?
Speaker 3 (21:58):
I'm just sure it says it says GUYIC needs activations.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
I'm like, is their phone not working?
Speaker 1 (22:04):
I know That's what I'm thinking I could make their phones.
What exactly that's like to get a response from the audience, right, yeah, absolutely, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
I'm basically getting them to do you know, uh, guy
goes there for a reason.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
And if you know, if you can't get if you
from stage, can't people get people to go through their
tent at least and just do play the game, then
that's a problem.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
So I was focused on that, and then like the
the teams there that were DPS productions and then O
PA V and then like one was doing video and
the other one was like actually managing the stage itself.
And the video guys were interesting because they use the
exact same setup we do.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
They have the.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Black magic stuff like this looks like cooler because all
their stuff like tactical gears.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I was gonna say, there's their cable management is way.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Better better than me.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
But I was like I was talking with them, I
was like, I'm basically the same as you guys.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
I know exactly what all this stuff does. If you
need help, because think about like we gather our own stuff,
put it all together ourselves, no trail, nobody's helping us.
We gotta put Yeah, we are grunts. Were grunts of radio.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
That's what I'm saying. We don't work for the same
We have to grunt at all us. We I had
buddy shout out to Megan. She she's a big deal
with DPS productions, I believe, but also part of her
job is to make sure if the artists are talent
need anything that like she's facilitating.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
She made sure we got salads. She made sure we
got these sandwiches from the Honey Honey bag Ham. We
got honey baked Ham sandwiches. She made sure that we
had a fantastic charcooterie board.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
We made sure we go to mountain doors. That can
we get an engineer? No, she made guy gotta do
it all this well.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
At one point it was very gusty, and I like,
I I didn't do my hair properly right, like, so
my hair started getting a gustified and I say to Megan,
I'm like, Megan.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Man, I really could use some hairspray.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
She's like gets on her headset Calany's hairspray and they
had to like scramble people to go find me hair free.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
It was crazy, dude, I never felt more pampered in
my life.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
They were humping our own tables and yeah, dude.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
So we get done with the show.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
Angel's been up there the whole time being DJing and
for some reason, Angel, So they're about to start the show.
Now the production team, uh, the guy, the main guy, Dan,
he's like he's.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
The stage manager, the stage manager.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
And everybody's kind of freaking out because now it's time
for Bailey to come on, right, and and his version
of like people pampering him was like way higher than
mine too, And I'm already level.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
He's getting treated like a superstar.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Oh yeah, yeah, we like, even us standing there, we
could tell that there was a difference. Oh yes, but
it was I mean like, for example, we had awesome,
awesome trailer. Everything was fantastic. Bailey's had a TV.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yeah, it was like an upgraded.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
So so Angel gets off stage. I mean, these guys
start rushing because the show, the show, show is about
to start. Dan the production man, stage manager's freaking out.
He's all he's all over. You could see that he's
very well. Baby's com bay is coming. Angel Angel Rivera,
six foot seven, Angel Avera comes comes down the stairs
(25:14):
off the stage dance freaking out. He's like on a
call and and Angel stops him and he goes hey
and dance like Angel goes hey because it's like in
his ear up to the head Ben and he's like.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Yeah, yeah, what can I do for you? And he's Angel, is.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
That your gum? And he's like, yeah, can I have
some gum? Makes this man stop? The show is about
to begin. This man's freaking out.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
Angel made this.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
Man stop and get him gum.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
What you need gum for?
Speaker 3 (25:42):
I don't know why he needed go and it was
like he needed it badly and in that moment, and
I was like, this is the most autistic Ryan hool
things I've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
It's just my power movie.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I had been on stage, hadn't really been talking to anybody.
He was drinking waters and just I was like, oh
my gosh, some gum would be refreshing right now.
Speaker 1 (26:00):
So are all these New York, you know, executives gonna
be like, oh man, these small time yokals done in Orlando.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
We crushed it. We absolutely crushed it.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
Some people said we were the best part of the show.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Yeah they were. They were impressed with our professionalism. Like
I said, I got in, I plugged in, got going
super fast. Uh, one of those things when in these
kind of environments, if you're not if you're not us
the distraction, if you're not taking away from everything and
you're just hitting everything, then you're crushing it. And so yeah,
(26:34):
they're happy. The production team, the stage set up team
said thank you and to all of them, uh, the
suits from New York and everything, they were like, you
guys did absolutely great, and uh yeah, some would say
that we were probably.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
The better part of the show. Actually, Actually the people
that the people that went to see My Friends if
they like, yeah, angel and are kind of the best
Brothers show. I guess they said that that guy forgot
some of the words of his songs.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
And stuff happens. I don't think he was sure what
part of Florida was in. Yeah, I mean, but you know,
you're you're traveling all over the place. You know, you're
you're in New York at the start of the day,
and then all of a sudden, recklessly, you're in a park.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I've actually never been out to Lake
Nona before.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
And what did you think of Boxy Park?
Speaker 4 (27:19):
It was great, like very cool little place. They got
out there.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
Lake noticed this weird little town that didn't exist like
the other day.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yeah, I mean I know nothing about it. That are crazy.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
I don't know. We were talking about it, but I
don't know. There was a report that came out probably
in the last couple of months. You guys hit me
up on Remobile if you guys remember this. But yeah,
that part of Central Florida, the people that live in
those communities for their commutes, they spend the most time
on the roads than anybody else in Central Florida right now,
trying to get in and out of that area of
Narcoussi and Algum.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
That used to be the way to go to Moss Park,
right and like if you what.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
I'm thinking, that used to be okay, I know that
that would be the back way that I would go
to go to Kasimi, like Narcoussi and and all that
and get out that way.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
I used to take that road where we used to
go to Moss Park all the time because my dad
would take us camping and so and then I would
go camping out there. So there was nothing out there
when I was young.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
And now, dude, if you were to go out there,
you would again, so Lake doing a area specifically that's
where the Veterans Hospital is. That's where the other hospital is.
A bunch of you know, buildings that are coming up here,
and then just neighborhoods. Yeah, and then from that part
all the way back to like kind of where NARKUSI is.
They're just developing, but they're not building roads.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Yeah, give me some gum. I want some gum.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Whoever gum, guys, Agent means his gum when he gets
up stage. I feel like he was so pampered to
the point during that whole day that he was like, yeah,
I can just start throwing out come.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
I was just like, I just wanted some gum. And
then Right it was the look I do. I had
kind of I stepped in it in a little bit
when I saw Riot's reactions because Right looked at me
like that's what I would do.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
That's the craziest. All right, we gotta take a little bit.
But I'm glad it went well. Guys, that's that's great.
You can see on the social post are up there
shout out to Brooks amazing.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Yeah. Brooke was out there with us, and so she's
the one that shot and edited and helped made sure
that we had some really cool stuff to post. So
I can't say enough about having heard that's the thing.
It was just the three of us from iHeart Orlando. There, Russ.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Wow, that's cool. That's good. All right, then we come
back Monster Sports. We'll start Monster Sports. Probably need two
segments of Monster Sports, but we'll do it when we
come back. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the Manster

I got a thing about this one agent.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
He has an amazing story that he needs to tell.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
I'll tell you Alanda. Anyway, what's happening with Masters Sports?
Speaker 2 (30:12):

Speaker 1 (31:16):
All right, we're gonna start.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Here with some local action that happened over the on Friday.
Congratulations to Lake Mary football.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Yes, oh my god, did you see that?
Speaker 2 (31:27):
Hell Mary, here's the play call from that. Uh one
second here here we.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
Go in eight seconds to go, perhaps the final player
right here, Grubs forced to step up.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
He's got room to let it go. He's got players
in the end zone hoisting it. The ball tached caught
by Shultz and he is fighting to get in and
he's gonna be Colk touchdown, touchdown, Lake Mary. Unblievable. It
was amazing. It was one of the coolest place. If
(32:01):
it doesn't end up in the Sports Center or something,
it should And they won the state title.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
Right Yeah, so like Mary beats Vero beats twenty eight
to twenty seven. That audio that you heard courtesy of
Max Preps, So thank you very much. If it was
going to be on there, it would have been on
their last night, so let me know if it would have.
It was on It made Sports Center last night on Saturday, guys,
So way to go Lake Mary.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Congratulations, what an incredible That play was amazing.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
Yeah, they win the seven A state championships. So congratulations
the kid, the kid from like Mary, Noah Grubbs. Yeah,
he's committed to Notre Dame. Wow, congratulations to him. See
that any of the other players are announced anywhere, that
is super cool. Yeah, but it was a really cool
moment for those young players in a way to you know,
finish out your collegiate high school career. So congratulations to
(32:45):
you guys. We passed the bok. I forget the name
of the team zero maybe vera zero? Yeah, is that who?
That's who they beat?
Speaker 1 (32:54):
That's who they beat? Yeah, okay, so yeah, we passed
their bus on the way back from I think maybe
it was back from uh TSO and they were all sad.
They were all sad.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Orlando Magic Man. We ran into a top top game
on Saturday versus the New York Knicks, and man, uh,
the injury bug is just again. We can't seem to
shake that.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
So we didn't make that the finals of that tournament.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
No, no, we did not. We lost to the Knicks
and Jalen Suggs went down and I haven't seen an
injury report on him as of late, but he took
a couple nasty falls and Polo isn't back to being
one hundred percent yet. You could tell that he's his conditioning,
he's a little off. So we ended up losing that
semi final to the Knicks. What's interesting, this is like
(33:44):
the fourth time we've played the next this season, so
far Oh wow.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
So I saw I think this wording about that game.
It was that particular game and one of the players
had his twin sons sitting on his lap on the bench,
and then and then they call he had to go
in the game. So he takes one of his kids
and gives it to the player to the and the
guy's holding the kid like, I don't know, what do
you want me to do it? It was pretty funny,
but yeah, I guess Nick's They beat him pretty badly
by twelve.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
So, like we were, it was a highly it was
a highly entertaining game and a lot of you know,
fast break points and everything. But at the end, like again,
like I said from the very beginning of the season,
this team's going to go how we go with Jalen Suggs,
and we got to help or figure out a way
to keep him injury free because that's one of our
definitely spark guys. We're back on the court on December
(34:28):
the eighteenth, Tuesday, Thursday, December the eighteenth, versus the Nuggets,
so we'll definitely keep an eye out for that. Man,
I don't know where to start with this in the
sense of, let's just start with all the injuries yesterday
in the NFL was just not a good day for
a lot of key players, one being Patrick Mahomes. Yeah,
this season is over.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
That's crazy, right.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Yeah, it looks like he's got a torn ACL. So
he's done. That's it. And they're out of the playoffs
as well.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
So past decade they've always been in the playoff. This
is the first time in I think over a decade
they haven't made the playoffs at all. Uh he And
now Patrick Mahomes out, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
Torn a c L. So he's the first one that went.
One of the guys that went down, Davante Adams for
the Rams went down with a hamstring injury that looked
pretty serious. And then Michah Parsons went down for the
Green Bay Packers.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
With a torn a c L as well.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
So so we'll see, we'll see what the report is
on with Micah because there's some saying it's a left
knee injury or a cl A left or a knee
injury as well. So you hate a Sunday like that
where you're seeing so many big time names go down
with injuries, yeah, because you know it's going to impact
the rest of the season. In the sense of your
guys are not going to be there, and the amount
(35:43):
of teams that aren't going to be in the playoffs
are you know, basically they're eliminated from playoff contention out
with the losses that they had yesterday. So we're getting
close to where we know, you know, who's all going
to be there?
Speaker 1 (35:55):
The Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (35:57):
They stop maybe that.
Speaker 1 (35:59):
That game, the old game with Philip Philip Rivers, look
at that was that was pretty cool, man, I mean
they didn't.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
You know, all right, we'll start there Seahawks. So I
beat the Colts eighteen to sixteen.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Close game.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
It was an interesting game in the sense of the
last minute. How many you know, the field goals in
that last quarter in the fourth quarter the game, the
points scored in that quarter was nine to three all
field goals.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
Yeah. What The guy for the Colts, the longest he
had kicked was fifty seven. He had to he had
to kick us sixty and he did it without a
without a problem. And it looked like they were going
to win. It looked like old man Phillips, you know,
forty four years old, was gonna win it for him.
Uh didn't they?
Speaker 2 (36:39):
You know?
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Then they came back and and they got a field golden. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
I went eighteen for twenty seven for one hundred and
twenty yards, one touchdown, one interception, interception. Sam Darnold through
for two hundred and seventy one yards.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
But think about this, Philip Rivers had four days to
practice in the for NFL to start in the NFL,
and he's trying to say he's a co coach for
you know, a high school team. That was.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
During the game when they cut to his players at
the school and.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
They're all and they're all celebrated, and he shows them
you know what you just Yeah, I was scared to death,
but I went and I did it, and I did
the best I could. And he admits he was a
little overweight, he wasn't in the same shape that he
normally would be for an NFL season. Uh, but he
went out there and did a great job. And I
was obviously I was pulling for him, and and uh.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
Just a grandpa playing catch with the kids.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
I thought it was awesome.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
You know.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
I wish they would have won. I really wish it
would have been there. They won by one point, that
would have been a better story. But uh, good for him,
man for going out there and doing his best. Did
you why?
Speaker 4 (37:39):
You know it's not a good job everybody?
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, like, what are we doing around?
Speaker 1 (37:44):
Are we're celebrating so much? Not being afraid after five
years going in and started great. I saw.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
I saw the post game interview as well, and so, okay,
cool story. He wasn't afraid.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Well he was impressed.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
No, sports people, I hate.
Speaker 1 (38:01):
You sports people. Everything is everything is about the numbers
and the logic. Like, listen, that's a great heartfelt story. Man,
he lost, So what you know what he showed his kids?
You know what you go in and you know and
he looked awesome, we do he did too.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
He showed his kids that you're old and you lost,
and you shouldn't have been there.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
You should have touched it few for a touchdown, which
is amazing.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
And he hadn't played in five years. He had four
days of practice. I thought it was great. I'm all
for it.
Speaker 4 (38:31):
Well it didn't work. This is not Liam Neeson movie.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
That's story.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
It's a redemption story.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
It's a how was it?
Speaker 1 (38:38):
A redemption story?
Speaker 2 (38:39):
He's in a hall of fame. Yeah, actually he heard
himself because now he's reset his hall of fame clock.
Now he has to wait longer now to get an
inductiments in the Hall of Fame. By playing this one game.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
He shows those kids, you know what, you go out, you.
Speaker 2 (38:51):
Play, You go out, play your art out, a little overweight,
your arms, a little shot, and you still lose.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
I think it's awesome. He shouldn't shouldn't.
Speaker 4 (39:00):
And I would agree with he should he not win.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
He lost. He wasn't a shlub. He didn't look bad,
he looked good, and uh, I'm all I was all
into it, right, That's why I was trying to see
where you were gonna go with this. This is your
version of man can come.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
Back, but he didn't. He's wearing that out proud cry.
Speaker 1 (39:21):
You too are just black screen, both of you. You
don't have any love in your heart for a guy
that's fighting hard. And uh, listen, he came up.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
So we're okay. So just so we're close, so we're clear, right,
So we're given. We're giving participation participation trophies now, right,
because that's what you're doing.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
I'm just saying I'm not proud of the dude for
going out and playing his best and he looked good.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
He didn't wouldn't you've been more proud had he won, Well,
of course.
Speaker 1 (39:47):
I would better story. But he still did not embarrass himself.
He looked good. You know what he could have been.
He could have been Here's what Ryan would have done.
Oh no, I haven't playing five years. I'm afraid to
go out there. I remember getting do it. Can't do it.
He didn't want to gone. Here's what he was like.
Speaker 4 (40:02):
You know what, I'm Philip Rivers.
Speaker 3 (40:03):
I'm like, I've already made all the money. I've got
my family, my ten kids, my one grand kid, and
I don't need to wreck my body potentially with a
with a life changing injury.
