Speaker 1 (00:08):
Welcome back Monsters Mornings.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
We're ready to one on one broadcasting live and Orlando
Hartley Davidson.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
It does sound a little different.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
We know because we are right by the interesting you
can hear the cars.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
As they drive by. If you do drive by you're
going to work, you want to hank your horn. We'd
appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
We're looking for people to bring as many bikes as possible.
We now still at seven o'clock, one hours in we
have two bikes and eighteen helmets. Thank you for the helmets.
I forgot about that. You can bring the helmets. That
would be great as well. Poor Flooring is setting up
over there. They're one of our key sponsors and they're
gonna have an area set up where, thank you guys,
where if you want to put bikes together, you can
(00:48):
put bikes together like a floor setup, so you can
put bikes together. For those that just bring them in boxes,
that would be great. We appreciate that. Welcome back on
Russ Rowlands along with Ryan and angel and Meernova, Angelique
the dance and Queen here as well. We'll talk about
how great you did the other night, but you killed it.
We'll talk about that, but now it's time for Angel
(01:09):
to bring you Monster Sports.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Poster Sports brought to you by great friends over there
at Antika wood Fire Pizzeria and Market located right there
in Alsmont Springs. This is the hookup, guys, go to
our web. This is our website. It's a you know,
iHeart iHeartMedia website and has all our sister stations involved.
It's Central Floridasaves dot com and right now you can
(01:33):
purchase a fifty dollars gift certificate for twenty five dollars.
So it's a fifty dollars value gift certificate for twenty
five Wednesdays. They do a cool thing where they're have
priced on selected bottles of wine at Antiqua, so definitely
swing by there for lunch you could. This is a
great stocking stuffer and just a heads up, there's only
(01:53):
a limited number of these gift certificates and they're starting
to pick up the the intensity where people are buying these. Again,
you want to go to the website Central Florida Saves
dot com and purchase your fifty dollars value gift certificate
for twenty five bucks at Antiko Woodfire Pizzeria and Market.
Let's see where we want to start. Actually, yeah, let's
stry right here at home. Orlando Magic or Magic handling business,
(02:17):
handling work. People were concerned with our guys going down
with injuries, but again it was a riveting, riveting game,
intense game until the fourth quarter. I think against the
Miami Heat and Miami Heat are good this year as well.
We went into this game same record. But what's an
awesome abouphesis is the end season tournament, the NBA Cup
and the Orlando Magic beef the Miami Heat last night
(02:40):
one seventeen to one oh eight here at home to
move on to the next round of the NBA Cup
where they'll be meeting up with the New York Knicks.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Now, this NBA Cup thing, the reason it's important to
the players is they get a nice little bonus, right
they make money.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah, well that's a huge part of it. I can't
diminish that at all. But it's also for some of
these guys, will be the first chance they get some
NBA hardware, you know, it'll be the first I don't
know if they I don't think they get a ring.
There's a trophy. The team gets a trophy, and I
know that some teams. I think the first team that won,
I think was the Bucks. I think they put a banner.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Like so it gives you, you know, it gives you
all of the bragging rights in the within the season.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
I always hear him talking about the cash though.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yeah, no, no, no, there's no way around it, because again,
you got to get these guys interested and I grab
their attention. And when you're dealing with the millionaires, we've
learned millionaires like more money. Millionaires like more money. So yeah, so, uh,
our next game is going to be the it's gonna
be the semi final, and that'll be Saturday, December the thirteenth,
(03:44):
and hold on single see yeah that game. This is
where it gets interesting because the semifinal in the final
will be playing in Las Vegas. Uh so that game
will be on TV obviously, but it'll be a Team
Mobile arena in Las Vegas Saturday, December the thirteenth, and
that's a five thirty guys star game.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
So out of touch, I am.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
I can't tell you the name of the Vegas basketball team.
It's the Vegas what Vegas.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Las Vegas doesn't have a That's why I don't know,
just because like a neutral.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Okay, that's quite unusual, isn't it for them to play?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
I think that's what they've done. I think that's where
they how they've done the tournament before. I mean, remember,
this is a new thing that they've started, right, you know.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
So yeah, a good place to have it.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Absolutely. We'll go from there to some interesting NFL news.
We were talking about the Indianapolis Colts and how they
their quarterback position has been decimated, right, and they've been
scrambling and scrambling and looking for a quarterback and they
signed a quarterback overnight. This guy, you know, we retired
(04:56):
a year or two ago, not for le Jets, not
that guy, but Colin Caer not Colin Colin. The phone
is not ringing. Unfortunately, that guy's never going to play
in the NFL. That was ahead. But they did call
one Philip Rivers.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Oh wow, who is that?
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Okay, so yeah, so the NFL heads will know who
Philip Rivers is. He can really spin that.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Ball, young guy. Yeah. Forty one for one.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Forty one for forty one, forty two. He's got ten kids.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Three so so.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
They so they called him and he was like, hell, yeah,
I'll come back and play.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
He's he was good on the charges.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
But he's forty four, forty four man, forty four children.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
What do you got to say about that?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Yet?
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Why are you trying to get at him?
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Eighty Dapolis is having a good season. They need somebody
that knows the.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Tom Brady retired to one forty one and he was
the goat okay, like Philip Rivers was okay, as the
Chargers quarterback is okay.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
He needs a good defensive line.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
Yeah, he won't get hit and then after that, you know,
he's fine.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah, that's all they need. They need him to, you know,
just so so one of their regular guys gets healthy,
because QB one and Q two are both out of
the injuries, and QB three just found out last night
that they signed Philip Ropers.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah, imagine that, kid, Chance it's like, oh, by the way, yeah,
you're still you're still holding the clipboard.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
You're now in fourth fourth string.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
A quick reminder Thursday night football, it's gonna be the
Buccaneers taking on the Falcons here at they're at Tampa
at Rampa and.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
State should be uh Atlanta.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Yeah at that should be a w for them. And
I think we'll do the you will do the probably
the other day tomorrow or of the day tomorrow. Do
you want to do what today?
Speaker 5 (06:58):
I don't have it in front of it, so I'll
go by you.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
We'll do one tomorrow once we're back in studio. But
so you know, so you know, looking forward to that
game and then seeing how that, how.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
Well can you get two parlays? Can't you do one
for tonight? Do you have enough games for tonight or
do you have to do it only for weekend games?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Well, it's easier what we do, got like NFL and
NBA games going on at the same time. Just to
do it, keep it in one day, Russ. This is
a new phenomenon. And see how you feel about this.
Are you a fan of college bowl season? I deserve
Was there ever a time where.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
You loved college bowls?
Speaker 2 (07:37):
And it's not it's nothing to do with food, uh,
I mean I like to watch and see what team
in the bowls. I like to see if that that
that the toaster things?
Speaker 1 (07:46):
You know.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
I like the gimmicks about the Mayo Bowl.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
There's a bowl, what's the one that what's the mail
that we all like dukes? Yeah, so that they do
the winning coach of the Duke's Bowl.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah, you know, that's that's that's abusing Mayo.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
I don't like that. I agree with you a minute.
Speaker 6 (08:06):
We always do the we always do the brackets. But
is that for March madness.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
No, we do that for March madness.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yeah they did.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
But they do have like they do have the playoffs
playoffs system for college football. But this year, this is
uh kind of alluding to that record number of teams
declining bowl invitations.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Because their feelings are hurt that they didn't make the game.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
There could there could be an argument, there could be
an argument for that, that right, the decline, that could
be you have to climb. But again, well they were
eligible for a bowl though they really Yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:42):
Once Notre Dame declined, was able to take it and
they declined as well.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Why they decline because in some instances the coaches are like, hey,
my team didn't play good enough.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
To be in a bowl like that, and I respect that, right.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
So so there's so there's a bunch of explanations for
the teams. Yeah, there's some coaches that feel like, hey,
we're not bowl worthy, you know at five and seven
or five and whatever.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
Yeah, to take that opportunity away though you never know
how the other team is going to play.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah, but the.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Bull Ultimately, the bowl is supposed to be air. There
was a time where the bowl was a reward right.
And so when you're five and seven, four and eight,
all that, and.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Then you don't think you're going to a bowl and
they start just drinking beer and like you're out of
shape already.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
And I know.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
So the teams that turned it down were Kansas State,
Iowa State, Baylor, Rutgers, Florida State turned down a bowl,
Auburn turned down the bowl, Temple turned down the bowl,
Central Florida turned down a bowl, Kansas turned down a bowl.
And then the really glaring one where people are like,
you know, saying that this is them just being brats.
Is Notre Dame? Notre Dame turning down So.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Dame though, and it costs you millions and millions of
dollars to run that program, and you could have a
bowl game and make some of that money back. I mean,
why would you, you know, like.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Notre Dames, I would say, in Notre Dame's position, they're
not hurt for the money. They're not No, some of
the some of these other teams paying their coach Notre
Dame so much.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Make us all mad, bro. Notre Dame's good. Yeah, like
they have supporters, Yeah, yeah, they're they're good.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Private.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah, they got a vault in the Vatican, so they
use Jesus and they just called up the Pope and
be like, Yo, can you float us alone for four Millionever,
the loss that we're taking, Hey, we're gonna be a
bowl game next week, Yes, we are Cure Bowl. Uh,
the US taking on Old Dominion.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Two teams that didn't say no to a bowl game.
We're gonna We're gonna be out there. It's gonna be
a fun Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
They're like, we're going to Orlando, why not, let's go.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
ANGELI to your point, this is the part that I
would say would be a bummer, like because usually with
these bowl games, what's cool is the all the perks
in the gift bag and the press swag that the
players get. And I'm sure for the Cure Bowl they're
gonna be hooked up with some really neat stuff.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Yeah, helmets too, those pink helmets. Of course.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
The Cure Bowl is about about breast cancer, breast cancer awareness,
and we're gonna be ridy, We're gonna be in the
pinky section.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Now it used to be the Zone section.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
They call it the pinky section this time because you
know everybody's weren't pink and you sit in the end
zone and we're gonna everybody that sits with us in
the pinky section. They're gonna the first two hundred people
are gonna get those really cool apps that we have annual.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Also, get to go.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
To the tailgate party and you get free barbieque from

They're going to give free pontoon rides for anyone on

radio say it with me.
Speaker 6 (15:56):
We're radio whores, our radio lover.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
That's worse, worse.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
I like that a lot less.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Okay, I gotta talk about that didn't sound like anything
you just asked.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
So before we get further with the bikes I got,
we got to talk about the Miss Monster Burlesque.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
It was a it was an awesome show. It was great.
I you know, we were talking about Amber and.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
She was a great job, did she not?
Speaker 1 (16:25):
I was gonna say, I was.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Gonna ask you, as her coach, what kind of grade
do you give Amber Nova for for her performance at
Miss Monster Burlesque.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (16:34):
I definitely give her a nine from what we started with, yeah,
and where we went.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
Yeah, And it wasn't even that it was that bad.
It was more of.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Just giving her sounds like a raving endorsement.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yeah, really, it wasn't that it's most improved.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
And gave her a nine. But the words that are
coming out of your mouth sounds.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Like a five.
Speaker 3 (16:56):
Yeah, they're not as enthusiastic. Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
That's how I feel about Amber.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
When she talks, she starts as a nine and then
she talks ends as fine.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Your nine. He's doing a lot of heavy lifting there, ladies.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Listen.
Speaker 6 (17:09):
Okay, when we first met, she started talking as if
it was a wrestling match, and so she was like
and then I'm gonna do that. And I was like, whoa,
what is that? That is not you gotta slow down.
And I literally looked at her.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
I said, make.
Speaker 6 (17:22):
Love to the people, look in their eyes, like, seduce them,
hit under.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
The cowboy head. I don't know about that. She said,
I just put my.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
Cowboy hat down and not look at people. I said, no,
that doesn't work this way.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Well, let's talk about that, because when I was watching Amber,
I was laughing a little bit, but going, oh my god,
she's doing so great. And you know, and I must say,
when I'm watching you, you were so.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Good that it made me uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
I had to turn my head a couple of times
because like, I can't think of Angelique like that, because
you were super sexual, more more more sexual central.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Okay, No, no, I was horny. I was horny. I
don't know about you, but I'm like.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Like, we can't look this way. I had to turn
my head. I'm like, oh my god, you were. It
was like you were making love to the crowd.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
That's what you have to do, That's what the girls do.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
Like it's a performance, but you have to like.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
You were really into it.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
To be honest, it's more about what that was.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
It's weird, whoa dude whatever. I'm just saying.
Speaker 5 (18:33):
Never learned anybody's faked it with him.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
He's believed it's real every single time.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
That was really I can't you know what. To be honest,
I was doing a lot of it, just like so
much went on in the other studio myself.
Speaker 6 (18:49):
In the sense of of I just wanted to feel sexy,
you know what I mean. I just wanted to feel
sexy and you stop being creepy.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
I told you I had a look, what do you do?
Speaker 2 (19:01):
It was just it was it was like, way, anyway, congratulations,
thank you.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
So you did a great job. I'm sure you made
a lot of money.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
I did. I did well.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
Yeah, And I actually one of ambers fans like came
up to me at Universal the next day and was like,
I said hi, my name is and he told me
the same and then and then he goes, oh, by
the way, I saw you last night, and I.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Was like, oh boy, hi, nice way.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
To meet that dude. She's at Mark.
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah, don't be creepy, do that ros Let me be
creepy for you. I can just say it was all
radio bit.
Speaker 7 (19:41):
You know, was at the Burst show.
Speaker 6 (19:43):
Yes, he was at the Burlesh Show and then came
and saw me at Universal.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
So I can only imagine both of you were in
for the Burlesh Show again next year.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
No, no, no, no, but no. I just I fired
off my entire arsenal. Boys, I'm gonna have to learn
new eminem trips s M, s N L.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
What that was a lot em and m.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
M yeah, okay are you?
Speaker 2 (20:12):
But but you did a great job and you made money.
I would think next year you want to do it again.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
And it's s M.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
You got a year to learn a different bit.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
I don't know if my a ARP will be there time.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Okay, well we'll just talk. I'll talk into it. But
I'm thinking next year, we don't do it in December.
I think doing it the first week of December so
many people had Christmas parties and stuffing to do.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
I'm thinking October. I'm thinking the beginning of October.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
Uh makes more last Yeah, last week of September, first
week of first weeks of Octavia.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Yeah, and maybe not do it in downtown Orlando.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Do it in a in a in an outlying area
where we always are a lot more successful, big venue, which.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
I understand it's in October.
Speaker 7 (20:58):
I'm on board.
Speaker 3 (21:00):

Speaker 1 (23:27):
It was awkward.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
We've got Santa Claus inside. Santa's going to be inside

Speaker 3 (23:51):
And they also want Orlando, Harley wants to let you

I need tighter one, so I might go get some.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
So all right, we're.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Gonna take a break, and when we come back, I
want to each and one of you guys to tell me, Okay,
when you're a kid, what does a bike mean to you? Like,
I think every kid has a reason why they love
their bike, So we'll talk about that. Also, we have
five bikes. Now, well start, come on, that's a start.
Come on, let's go. We'd love to get more than that.
(24:53):
For God's sake. If I'm gonna get the six twenty five,
we're gonna we're gonn to have to do a lot better.
So please drop by a bike. And if you want
to drop off a sandwich while you're doing that, I'm
russy would eat it. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to
the Mantras in the morning, I bet you out.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
All right, Welcome back to the Mantras Mornings.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
We're Radio one on four point line broadcasting live from Orlando.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Harley Davidson. Right off I four. If you drive by,
give it a honk and let us know you you
drove by it. Give us a home, give us a honk,
give us a hey when you drive by.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
On I four. We are collecting bikes today for the
Paramour and Holton Heights Kid Zone and what's up. I'm
Ros Rollins along with Ryan Holmes, Angel Angelique the Dancing Queen,
and Ambernova is a running around here somewhere and we
have okay, so we now have five bikes. We started
off with two. Somebody just dropped off three. Raphael right, yes, sir,
(26:00):
how you doing today, buddy? I appreciate you coming by.
You were just telling me that you just lost like, like,
what's sixty pounds? Yes, that's amazing, man, congratulations, good on dude.
You did you cheat like me, did you use uh drugs?
Because I'm using drugs and it's not it's not working.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
No, I did not use the drugs. It was just
old fashioned like fashion, cutting.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
The cars, cutting the carbs and do it the right way.
Speaker 9 (26:23):
Doing it the right way, not you know, no soda,
no juices, pasta's breads, rice, yeah, you know, cutting all
that back and it's hard. That's the hardest part is
planning what you're gonna eat.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
So I should stop eating my rice sandwiches. That's probably
good ride rice sandwiches. Don't eat those anymore.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
So you brought us three bikes and you were like, man,
you know, like I wanted to do more, but bikes
are more expensive this year than they've been before, and
I think it's because of the tariffs or whatever prices
have gone up.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Do you want to say how much the bikes cross
or not?
Speaker 2 (26:55):
No, you don't have to, Okay, but you.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Did bring us three bikes and we appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
And you wanted to get a tip to people if
they want to if they go to get a bike.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
You mentioned another location.
Speaker 9 (27:04):
Yeah, there's a Walmart at the corner of Princeton and
John Young and it's like literally a straight shot here.
It's about ten twelve minute drive. Yeah, and they have
a ton of bikes.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
So we told people that if you want to drop
off a bike and then plug your business and maybe
challenge another business, we'll let you do that.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
Is that what you wanted to do.
Speaker 9 (27:22):
Sure, I have a painting business here in town. We've
been at it for about twenty one years.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (27:28):
You can check us out at KCR Underscore Group on Instagram.
KCR Underscore Group, Yeah, on Instagram, and you know you
can see what the type of work we do. We
paint everything from you know, residences to apartment complexes.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Car dealerships, whatever whatever comes our way.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
And I always say, man hire Look, look, if you
can afford it, hire a painter. They do a better job.
I tried to paint it myself and I always screw
something up. I always like, you get a painter, they
know exactly what they're doing and they make it look right.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
The first forward letters of paint are paying.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yes, yes, you have to have patience. And I have
patients for some things and some Okay, I have for nothing.
So anyway, Yeah, at.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
The name of your company is it's Caseyr Group.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Caseyr Group.
Speaker 9 (28:14):
And like I said, we do anything from residential repaints
to new construction.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
Are we challenging all other painters?
Speaker 2 (28:20):
You want to pick one guy that really you want
to really put put the crews to.
Speaker 9 (28:24):
No, I would challenge the home builders here in town.
You know, the all the big national builders that we
have here that can really make an impact and really
put some resources into this.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Yeah, they got some money, they can help out some money.
Speaker 9 (28:37):
And there's a lot of them here in town, a
lot of custom home builders. All these guys out and
wind them here and win a park. Yeah, you know
they can come and you know it's it's right in
the middle of where everybody that and you'll get.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
A free plug today, pick up some bikes, drop them off.
We're looking at five bikes right now. I want to
get to six hundred and twenty five by the you know,
by the end of the day.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
So we got a long way to go.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
We six and nineteen to go.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Six ago, it's gonna happen it's gonna happen, all right,
we'll wrap me up.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Thank you so much. And you also shot us some hats.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
Yes, who's the guy that was? The guy that was
that was taunting us, Ryan, he's the guy you know
I'm going.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
To The.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
Patriots are now the best team in football since I
gave you. I took the hat away from him.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
I put the hat on and then gave it to you,
and now the Patriot number one.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
The curse is broken. This is no longer.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
Thank you, sir. You're right about that.
Speaker 3 (29:31):
Dolphins.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
Yeah, you know what we did break the curse. You're right,
the Dolphins winning.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
I did not wear the Pittsburgh Steeler hat. I just
gave it to the last.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Bet we did. You won, I won the Jets.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Here, hold on, we have.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
Killed the Jets. That killed the Jets.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
Jets know the Jets are a different level of.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
The pasted the curse.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
We're way way beyond which Craft can't save them, which
Draft can't say weren't straight up human sacrifices. Thank you
so much, Funny, Yes, thank you, yeah, man, thank you
for helping well. Your first guy to come by, so
we appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
Only good guy in Orlando.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
I'll tell you that right now.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
We need more good guys group.
Speaker 5 (30:14):
And Peyton, whatever I'm doing from now on, good people
to bring stuff.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
All right, So, so why are bikes important? Okay, like
like when you're a kid, how important.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Is a bike?
Speaker 2 (30:23):
He and I started thinking about it, like when I
was a kid. I don't know about you guys. I'm
sure everybody's story is different, but I remember I had
a bright orange ass I mean bright orange ten speed
bike and that was kind of like as a kid,
I mean like the third grade or whatever, that was
my calling card. Like, oh, Russ, he's got that, that
bright orange ten speed.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
So you've been douche since a child.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
I was born douchey. Yeah, my parent we get that
on the certain please born.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Douche because my parents are from West Virginia and bright
shiny things and yard gnomes and flashy stuff like.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
The yellow Homer.
Speaker 5 (30:59):
Eventually, it's just like that's just what you're using.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
I thought everybody liked flashy, weird stuff like that where
I grew up.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah, yeah so I and mine was a ten speed,
but it had had the tassels on it, right, everybody
else took the tassels off.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
I'm like, no, I'm where I'm having my tassels. Uh.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
And and it meant freedom, right if you have a
bike when you're a kid, you can go all around
the neighborhood and you have freedom. And some of my
other friends, their parents didn't get them a bike. So
I was like, you know, the cool kid with a bike,
and and now, no, I would lift them. I would
let them use my bike every once in a while.
My dad got on me for that. He's like, you
shouldn't let anyone use your bike, uh, because someone's gonna
(31:38):
they'll leave it somewhere and it's gonna get stolen.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
And it did get stolen one time. Uh.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
And so after that, I wouldn't let anybody use my
bike after that ever again, ever since. But but my
dad bought me another bike after my bike got stolen,
and I was going to school and I saw my
bike in this kid's yard and uh, and I'm freaked out.
I I fell off on bike because I'm like, oh God,
that's my bike because I can tell because the tassels
(32:02):
were still on it.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
And uh, so I called.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
I went to school and I went to the principal
and so I got to call my mom and dad.
I saw my bike, and and and they got the
police to go and get the bike, and they arrested
the kid and all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Yeah, so you were.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Born born to snitch.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
That's the hell of shirt, right, that's front and back.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
So that's what a bike just sandwiches. That's what a
bike means to me. How about you, Ryan? What is
the What did a bike mean to you as a kid?
Speaker 1 (32:34):
What mean to me?
Speaker 5 (32:36):
Well, it has two wheels.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
He's gonna throw you on. I for he'll throw you on.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
I f F. Oh yeah I can make it.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
We got lawyers. Uh, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (32:50):
My bike got stolen very early on as a child.
Speaker 10 (32:53):
Uh like right out doesn't surprise me, Like, uh yeah,
but I like I know, I know, I'm not paramore.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
But I was one of the kids that would get
bikes from stuff like this. So like I went, I
went like a year, like a couple of years actually
without getting a bike again because because we couldn't afford it,
or my mom just didn't want to get another one
because we were like like when I was a kid,
it's life wasn't that fun.
Speaker 10 (33:18):
So I didn't I didn't have a bike until later on,
and then I.
Speaker 5 (33:21):
Got a I got one of these bikes.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
It got stolen again.
Speaker 10 (33:24):
And then I got an old lady bike, like an
old grandma bike, like you know that, like a beach
cruiser grandma bike.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
And it was too big for me too, so I'd
have to.
Speaker 5 (33:34):
Like run, I have to like run and jump onto it.
Speaker 3 (33:38):
And no one stole that bike. I had that bike
forever ever.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (33:43):
So it had a big like fat grandma seat, you
know what I mean, Like it was it was great.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
Awesty kind of liked that bike the best.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Uh did you ever have a bike to have a
banana seat? Didn't want to have that? No, those were why.
Speaker 7 (33:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
I remember kids making fun.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
I remember kids making fun of me because I before
I had the ten speed, I had a bike that
had a bananas cy You have the wrong oneasy bikes?
Speaker 1 (34:10):
You think that? Okay, when you're when you're twelve years
old and you're seven for.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Five, what kind of bike do you have to all right,
So I twelve years old, I was made to purchase
my first bicycle. I had the newspaper route This is
in Shepherd Air Force Base, which how Falls, Texas, And
I got the newspaper route on the base, and my
dad was like, Okay, the first thing that you're going
to do, because I'm not driving you in the morning
to do your newspaper route, You're getting a bicycle. Well
(34:35):
the first one, the first bike that I ever had,
was a ten speed that we bought at the BX
on base and it was a couple hundred dollars. But
it wasn't the bike that I wanted. It was like,
this is this is the bike that you need? Yeah,
this is it was forming functions you didn't want to.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
You don't want a ten speed. No.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
It was later on, like a year or two later,
that I got the bike that I wanted. But I
was by that point I was already too big for
the bike. But I didn't want to listen to anybody.
I had saved up my money and I got a
horror a Horrow GT was a BMX bike Harrow GT
with Z rooms. It was this bike right here and
(35:18):
so but I thought, I do that's what you're going
I don't know the name, I don't know, but there
was a small window of time. But like you know,
I was I hadn't started playing basketball yet and everything,
and I really thought that I was going to become
BM a bmxer, but I was already like, I got
(35:42):
the bike and everything, but I was already too big
for it, you know, And so then I ended up
going to like my brother and you know, so those
are what I remember most about the bikes, the first
bikes that I ever got.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Did you have a bike when you were a kid?
Speaker 7 (35:55):
I did?
Speaker 4 (35:56):
I did?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
What did it mean to you?
Speaker 7 (35:59):
It was a cute darn thing.
Speaker 8 (36:00):
And it was a little mermaid bike, had a little
mermaid on it, you know, and the tassels, And that's
the one I can remember from childhood. But I know
I was notorious for getting into trouble. Trouble would find me,
and I remember I got a beaten once. I'll tell you.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
So I'm in.
Speaker 8 (36:19):
My mom was so mad, brand new little mermaid bike.
Right hang out of all the kids in the in
the neighborhood and we're on a river with a dock
that goes down to the river, and there's some older
kids and they're like, well, can we.
Speaker 7 (36:32):
Use your bike? And I'm like, yeah, sure.
Speaker 8 (36:34):
He takes the bike, rides it down the dock, push
right into the river and down the bike goes and
my mom's like, what did you just let happen or whatever?
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Do?
Speaker 7 (36:46):
And he had to swim to the bottom. He did.
He swam to the bottom and he pulled the bike
back up, and.
Speaker 8 (36:51):
I remember walking out of there my mom and she
was so mad at me.
Speaker 10 (36:55):
But uh, this is what a bike meant to you.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
That's your memory.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
It was a little mermaid so to go in the water.
Speaker 7 (37:03):
It was like crazy. It was a little mermaid bike
and it ended up in the river. You did fish
it out. I didn't. The older kid did because he
was in trouble.
Speaker 8 (37:14):
Kid and I rode mostly four wheelers and dirt bikes
growing up too.
Speaker 7 (37:20):
But that's my bicycle story.
Speaker 8 (37:21):
I can remember a little tassels on it and a
little basket.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Okay, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
Four wheeler drives later on in the air.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Did you have a bike when you were a kid?
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (37:33):
I sure did. That was the most freedom ever.
Speaker 6 (37:37):
We were allowed to go from one speed bump to
the other speed bump like where we live.
Speaker 4 (37:43):
Yeah, because the.
Speaker 6 (37:44):
Neighborhood wasn't it wasn't too bad at this point. When
I got like one of my first yeah, really tanked later,
but I mean my brother and I rode all the
time everywhere, and my parents always said, don't ride on
the hand of horse, don't right on the handle bars,
don't ride on the handle bars. And one day I
had to go grab something from a babysitter that we had,
(38:05):
like a street down and I rode. I said, don't worry,
just drive and get on the handle bars up until here.
I don't want to have to walk all the way back.
And I don't remember it's all I remembers being on
the handlebars going and then she made an abrupt stop
and with that I flew off the bike and like
it was bad. But my brother, speaking of special bikes, Angel,
(38:27):
my brother wanted the Mongoose.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
The Mongoose is another huge one. It was a huge,
insanely popular. It had the blue iron cross on there
and everything.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
He loved the pedals.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
The corvette of the bike world.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
It was.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
Did you guys like jump the bikes, like make ramps?
Speaker 6 (38:47):
Dude, I didn't do ramps, but we but we like
tried to physically.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
Do like the whole like the speed bump.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
We yeah, we would do. We would do jumps and stuff.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
We made a ramp and we put it in the
middle of the street for some reason. So when we
would jump, you'd land on the ass, which was really dumb.
And and I was like, I'm gonna do a flip
the ramp I used the ramp I was not Yeah,
I was pat then uh, yeah, I was pat kid
then uh. And I would use the tim speed and
tell about I can do a backward flip and basically
(39:15):
just you know, pull it back and backward flip.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
That was really dumb. I did do that. Yeah, oh wow,
you know why I did it because.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Everybody would applaud. I'm like, oh, I can take everybody applaud.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
That's pretty good though.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
For you to do a backflip, well I didn't land right, crashed,
but everybody clapped and I was like, yeah, I'm a star,
this is awesome.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
Did you ever do it? Did you guys ever do
the thing where like you would take a playing card
and put.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
It in Yeah, yeah, well, without a doubt, always did
that with a bright orange bike playing cards, two of them. Uh.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
And in tassels, did you do the boom box strapped
to your bicycles?
Speaker 4 (39:55):
Yeah? Then it definitely would have been stolen. I mean,
like we really had to be a bike.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
I was just like listening to y'all. That's the main
difference between like like bicycle experience for me and then
you guys, because so we had the luxury or the
false sense of security or whatever living on base, so
it would be nothing. So it's a two hundred dollars bicycle,
and I would get off of it and just leave
it in the front yard. Oh yeah, because yeah, so
(40:22):
and it was so you know, so I've never had
to go through that experience if somebody stealing a bicycle.
Speaker 2 (40:27):
Well, obviously bikes are important to kids. I guess that's
the point of this, and we want to make sure
every kid.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
Come on, we're open for business dropped by a bike.
