Ryan Oh. Yes, telephone number if you want to call
at around seven o'clock. You can. That's trivia time four
(02:11):
oh seven nine one six one four. When I happened
to know, I think we got a really great prime today,
a couple of great prizes, so we'll let you know
about those coming up. About that about seven, are we
still doing the thousand dollars giveaways? That still happened? Yes, us,
it still happened. Okay, I didn't see an email Sandy
will stop yet. I I just curious. So yeah, we're
still doing that. So give that a shot around nine
(02:32):
o'clock or so, trying to win that thousand dollars. I
know we had a couple winners last week, so you
very well could win that today. What was up everybody is?
It is a Monday. The week of Halloween is this week.
We had a big weekend over the weekend with the
Monster Brewbus. Obviously we're going to talk about that. I
saw Angel and Ryan both on Saturday, but we were
(02:55):
in different different areas talking to different people running around.
I didn't even get chance to ask you how everything
went on Friday night because you had the you had
the vital night Friday night. How's that going?
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Smashing success so much so that we're going to do
three of those next year at the same location. But yeah,
we had about anywhere from at the at the peak,
we probably had about fifty fifty to sixty people and
then it's just you know, Evan and flowing through the night.
Had plenty of new music to play, everything from the
(03:29):
Bay City Rollers.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Oh No. I was gonna ask you what was the
most unusual vinyl record?
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Some of the most unusual record.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Basity Rollers is pretty unusual.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
I'll check raise you on that one. One of my
great friends, his name is Chris, Him and his wife
came out there and Chris is also is just a
record avid vinyl collector and everything. And he brought out
and it had it was an epic moment, had my
room dancing, had the people in the bar that's right
behind that room, the venue dancing. And it was a remix,
(04:00):
electronic remix, kind of a wie remix of a baby Shark,
oh No, on a forty five, on a painted for
a picture disc forty five. It was absolutely and again
it was just the way that the DJs that actually
produced it, there's like, I we're stealing this song from
the kids and making it cool for the parents, right,
And it actually it killed that night. It was really
(04:21):
actually worked Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was absolutely it was
really cool. I had a bunch of people, you know,
moving around.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
So any any vinyl that you had to go, We're
not going to play this one.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
No no, no, no, no no no. Everybody. Everything that
was brought was really cool. Shout out to Erica vinyls.
She was selling records and people were this happened a
handful of times. They bought records from her and they
walked over to me and asked if I could play them.
That's pretty cool. Yeah, so that worked out smashingly.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
So how many how many vital records do you think
she brought with it for the.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
Oh dude, Well, she does her thing. It is absolutely
a very cool setup. So she takes up about anywhere
from three to four of the banquet tables. She probably, man,
I don't even know how to guesstimate, probably let's say
a couple of hundred.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
And then she also had CDs out there. She had
cassette tapes, she had a couple cool books, and she
had some rock and roll tees.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
So she t shirts so she I love rock and
roll te Trying to fix that, but.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
No, she has a fantastic setup, and again it was
a really great to have her come out there.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Uh, with that experience. So I have a bunch of
older I mean Lea's are older. These are like from
the fifties and the sixties, older, you know, vinyl records
that I think about like taking to her and giving
to her whatever, donate to her, you know. But I
don't know if anyone would want anything from the fifties
or the sixties, you know.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
Like it's definitely it's definitely with her.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Uh, you know, let her take a look at him
if you if you feel that way the other thing,
and I don't know, I guess.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
They're just sitting in my garage. They're just gonna sit
there until I die. I would say, let's look at
it like these are there's nothing's gonna happen with these.
I'd rather I'd rather get them. Is someone where if
somebody would enjoy them, you know, are.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
They in decent condition?
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah? How was it just sitting there? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:03):
I said, take a couple of pictures of what you
got showed to her and see what she says. Yeah,
you know, that's probably the best move. So that's what
ends up happening with uh, and she would be the
first to tell you. Ultimately, what ends up happening is
a lot of people, you know, they get out of
buying them, or they or it's been.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Passed down, passed down, passed down. That's what's happened. So
I never do anything.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Yeah, and so that's I mean, she had a great
find a few weeks ago when we were into varies
and uh, it was a like a record deal that
she's got going on or where she's selling records for
somebody else and everything. So yeah, and it's something like that,
you know, where it's just been collecting and then you
get to a point where you're not sure what you
want to do with it.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
So Base City Rollers, that's pretty unused that that was
the first or second record.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
And then a lot of it was fun. We had
some uh, some Toto, we had some hip hop, some
electronic music. We had I'm trying to think of some
Linyl Richie. Actually I took Richie by him up or yeah,
I was dancing on the Ceiling.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Album Okay, yeah, I actually had that album.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
So that's the thing again, that's the neat thing about it,
and it's just kind of like, you know, how I
set it up. It's like, hey, we're hanging out in
my living room, so we're I'm running the gamut of everything,
trying to play a little bit of everything. So uh,
it played some early Black Sabbath. Oh nice, Uh play
some Santana. I took a picture of all the record
(07:26):
I think most of the records anyway, and I'll be
posting those later on the what the Hell's Angel listen
to Instagram page.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
So we'll plan next year, we'll plan it. We'll have
a little more time because this kind of you kind
of find out like a couple of days ahead of time.
So I like I couldn't make it, and I wanted
to come, but it was like kind of last minute.
But next year when we do it, maybe have some
a little plan one, Like I said, we're going to
do three one a quarter.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
And uh, just because I work well with Dom and
those guys over there at West End and you know,
they they give me the space and I'm allowed to
bring in, you know, because it's cool to bring in
someone like Eric Final. The first time I did there,
uh uh, strange candy hot Sauce was there, you know,
and so like the having so I like having a
couple of other things there so to make it a party. Yeah,
(08:09):
making a party, have a cool vibe with that.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
So that's it. Good. Well, I'm glad that went well.
And uh and yeah, you you got the old we'll
get into every We only got a couple of minutes, hea,
but we'll get into everything with the brew bus obviously
for the weekend. But you got the you got the
sandwiches and stuff really quick. This time. I turned around
and you were You were there pretty early.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
So uh so so I don't I can't speak for look,
I love Jersey Mike's. I can't speak for which crew,
which crews or whatever. But I think because the order
was so large, Yeah, when I got there, because last
time I had picked up before, they only had a
couple guys working. Uh but because it's such a big
order and they treated it as a catering order. Right
(08:46):
when I got there to pick up the subs, I
mean it was done.
Speaker 5 (08:50):
Yeah I didn't have and yeah, so.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Right like I got there right at ten and we
were loaded up with the sandwiches a boy like ten ten.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yeah, you were here. I mean it went to like
everything went really really well on Saturday. We'll talk about
that a little bit more in the next segment, but right, so,
right did you get to do? I know you had
to get someone to help you with kettle corner on Saturday,
they all get to take care of him.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Yeah, I got it, got it done.
Speaker 6 (09:14):
I had some people help me oscar for fire inside,
and his daughter wanted to help ount. So I was
like cool, okay, and was able to get it all
worked out.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
I haven't checked any of the money or equipment yet.
See how it all went. I just kind of got
home Saturday evening and didn't get up till now.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Yeah, you know what I was. I mean, I don't.
I always see you're younger than me, so I keep
checking everything off too. I'm getting older. But man, I was.
I was pretty tired on you know, Sunday. I didn't
feel like doing anything. I didn't want to go on
the course. It was raining, so.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
I'm bad with My nephew's birthday is his sixteenth birthday,
and I was like, way too hungover to get up.
No really, so I just sent him money and my
wife they went and did that.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
I wasn't hungover. I just was really really tired and
just laid around most of the day because when it's
rainy like that, you just feel like sleeping.
Speaker 5 (10:06):
And I don't want to hear about y'all being tired.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
I had a bust ass on Sunday.
Speaker 5 (10:11):
Yeah, I had a good yesterday.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Yeah. I saw the picture you and Angelique.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
That was the Hispanic d Kaya Orange Festival with the
Orange Festival Kye Orange Frincile.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, Kaya Orange Kaya Orange Festil How dow it go?
Speaker 4 (10:22):
It was absolutely fantastic. No, it was absolutely fantastic to
get there early. All the big suits were there, so
Andy was there, Judy was there so uh and networking.
And I'll tell you this from my perspective, guys, typically
our station isn't included in something like this, so it.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Was really cool. Why not.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
It was really cool to see, like when they're doing
the scroll of all the radio stations, that real radio
is there. It was cool to see the real radio
ten and we represent the Hispanic community here. We got
we got you and angel Leak and that's all of
that's all real recent history in the past.
Speaker 5 (10:58):
Real radio was it a I wouldn't be included that.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Well know, you're right, but I mean you've been here,
now what ten years, fifteen years.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Yeah, and some of the stuff, you know, it takes
time or people just don't don't think of it in
the moment. The people get used to just their standard, uh,
you know, routine. Now it's just routines. And so again
with changing of leadership and whatnot, and just wanting to
include everybody in the cluster, it was again it was
neat to have us out there.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
It's fine, right, you are one hundred percent correct. And
so today at around nine thirty, I'm supposed to go
to a sales meeting. That was so because a lot
of the new Hispanic salespeople don't know anything about us.
So I'm supposed to go there too to introduce me
to them and us and Angel.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
Don't get shut down with that, man, Why.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Am I supposed to speak like slower and louder?
Speaker 6 (11:47):
Yeah, hello, Russ me, Russ, you sell me.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Don't do like I did?
Speaker 1 (11:57):
What'd you do?
Speaker 5 (11:58):
Now?
Speaker 4 (11:58):
I'm saying, like with my internship, don't be Jeff Wagstaff
when I was when when I was interning, that was
one of the biggest and best jokes ever. So I'm
interning Ryan, And so the whole bit was on the
pillows file that I was an exchange student from Puerto Rico, right,
and so you know English was my second language, you know,
(12:18):
it wasn't.
Speaker 5 (12:18):
Really strong in that.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
And there's a moment and I have witnesses, Kathryn Brown
being one of them. Jeff Wagstaff stops me in the
hallway and he's like, how's it go away?
Speaker 5 (12:31):
Are you having a great time here?
Speaker 4 (12:34):
And Catherine her eyes got so big and she was like, oh,
I'm not going to let him off the hook on this,
and she oh and so and literally they were walking
to another meeting. So Russ everyone there and knows English.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Now he's walk in there and go, oh love me.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
I'mo is Russ, Mucco Gusto, Gusto is mio.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
All you need to know, guys is grande tonto de tito.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Baby, I don't even know what you just said. Okay,
oh that's good. Grande tato, grande tonto tonto like tonto. Yeah,
you can remember that one, right, Grande tonto.
Speaker 6 (13:15):
Divertito, divertito too big.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
I hesitated to because I think they would get they
would get where he was going.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Yeah, you just have a very American accent.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
That's all there. You go. That's all it is, all right, listen, Uh,
great weekend. We're gonna go over everything that happened on
the Monster Brewbus. Here's the thing, man, when it goes
so well, there's not a whole lot bitch about her
complain about. But but you know, we'll tell you some
of the fun stuff that happened. And we got to
think a bunch of people that that came out to
say hi to us and stuff. I gotta think the
couple in Leesburg that say, man, I saw this hat,
(13:56):
I want to give you this hat. I got a
Yellowstone hat. So I got this great gimmick. Now people
give me hats, which is awesome. But thank you to
the couple that came out to Leesburg.
Speaker 6 (14:04):
They just announced they're canceling that show.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
No, did you hear what Tyler Sherdan did.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Yeah, he just signed up with NBC with Peacock and
now all his stuff is going to be on Peacock
at NBC and NBC is going to be doing a
bunch of new stuff with Tyler Sherton. Uh so he's
uh yeah, and that is massive deal. Yeah, they broke
he broke his whatever deal with Paramount and it's going
full on peacock and they plan on doing a lot
more shows. So that's that's pretty cool anyway. All right,
(14:29):
So a bunch of other stuff going on today. It
is a Monday. We'll wrap up and tell you what
happened on the Monster brew Bus here when we come back.
Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the Mansters the morning.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
Sure you could call your family, but then they'll start
calling you all the time.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Instead, I just say, Alexi, play.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
Real Radio one oh four point one on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Bro for the uh Monster Guest Hall of Fame starts
tomorrow at Real Radio dot TV. That's Real Radio dot them.
You can vote for the Monster Guest Hall of Fame.
The nominees this year are Donnel Rollings, Billy Gardell, Nick Swartzon,

for me. I appreciate that. Welcome back to the Monsters
in the morning. We're RADYO one on four point one.
I am Russ along with Angel and Ryan. Several people
texted this morning, are you guys live this morning? Yes,
(15:43):
we are live. Oh yeah, threw them off with all
the music before him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's.
Speaker 6 (15:48):
A beautiful July third two.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (15:52):
I love it when you play music in the morning,
but that one.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Had nothing with me.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
No, I know, I know it gets me up though.
I like hearing that. Okay, here to me. So Saturday
was the big you know, big Monster Brew bus. I
want to make sure I thank all the sponsors. And
I don't have my paper in front of me, so
make sure I remember. M c A Transportations, got to
thank them, Puddle Jumpers, they're sponsors. Thanks to them, m
(16:16):
NC Fence, thank you, fellas Mo who showed up. Mo
himself was there sending us off. Yeah, he sent us off.
He wanted to take a picture with the Monster belt,
the wrestling belt. I took a really cool photo with
him and h and Jersey Mike's were all sponsors of
the Monster Brew Bus. What I forget?
Speaker 5 (16:37):
I said that?
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to really want to
thank them because they jumped on board just to do that,
and all the all the sponsors make stuff like this
so we'll do it again, right like when you sponsored.
So I can't thank you guys enough for doing it. Uh,
two buses full going to Lake County, and and you know,
we did like we always do. We show up here
(16:58):
at ten o'clock, bus leaves at ten thirty. It seemed
to be smoother this time then than ever, you know,
like everything was very, very smooth. We did forget to
take the photo of everybody all together before we got
on the buses, because people got their sandwiches and then
went ahead and got on the bus. I was like, all,
should we tell me to get off the bus like
(17:19):
a picture now? We'll do it later. And I think
we forgot to take a full photo of the entire
two buses, but that's okay. There were a lot of
photos floating around. We want to thank Brooke, who is
so great at brook Steal. She takes She was there
as our promo person, but also took photos of everybody
and video and all that kind of stuff. And you
(17:39):
know in the parking lot that was cool. Moe was
there giving out all kinds of merchandise. He's got great
merch you know, so he was doing that. We had
two buses, you know full. We had a red bus
and a blue bus, and a Daisy shows up dressed
like she was going out that night. And she was
dressed in I don't know what you call it, like
a ball gown thing, but she called it a Mexican
(18:02):
ball gown. Uh and uh. And she brought two bottles
of tequila and two bottles of Triple R blended whisty
uh to give out, which was which was awesome?
Speaker 6 (18:12):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Ryan shows up and Ryan's dressed Ryan was dressed up
like President Trump. It was. It was very funny and
you were doing your impersonation all day. And then so
now was was Christina?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Uh, Malania, She's Milania. We did a couple of costume
and it.
Speaker 6 (18:29):
Was I was curious to see what it would be
like to do uh a trumpy impression because uh, because
if you I learned an important lesson.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
I learned a few important lessons, which.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
Is like if you if you love Trump, then you
kind of liked what I was doing, and you did
not like Trump, you still like it.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
No, it takes a minute to figure out what I'm
doing with it. Oh really, And then they're like, okay,
it's funny.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Oh as soon as I saw you. I knew because
you had the wig and the hat in the and
the and the long time.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
There was one lady.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
He was the people that disliked it.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
They were giving him authentic uh cussing out, yea man,
why it's costume.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
It's fun.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
We went.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
We went to Chicago Fire and Uh, I was a heartfelt.
On first of all, I've never had a Chicago hot dog.
That was a great hot dog I've ever had in
my life.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Nobody told me that Chicago hot dogs. Yeah, I think
we did rush the guys he was in and here before.
I mean he may have back then. I don't remember
things from back then. Angel. I mean that day, no
one said they had him down the street.
Speaker 6 (19:26):
I had no idea, dude, Chicago hot dog is one
percent of the way to go floaded up with like
a nonsensical amount of stuff. Yes, and then the bread
they used is a different kind of hot dog.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, never had one before. I though I
had known they were down there. To walk down it,
I got, I got. I got to that there was
two bars. So we went to uh Wolf Branch Brewing
and they were like, hey, if you want to walk
down to the other place, I'm like, man, I'm sitting here,
I'm comfortable, people are talking. I got Savanna Sweno playing,
so I just didn't feel like walking to the other place. Yeah,
and if someone would have said they've got Chicago hot
(19:58):
dogs down there, my ass up and limped on down there.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
It was funny because uh, Chicago Fire, like, it looks
kind of like it's a building, but it looks People said,
just look for the place that looks like a hot
dog stand. So I just walked down. I was like, oh,
there it is. And then inside surprisingly that a full bar. Yeah,
like a full bar bar. Because Wolf Branch prove it's
beautiful place. It's just a brewery, just beer. So I'm like, okay,
let's get crazy. At the Chicago Fire. I was in
(20:24):
like full trump emode. I was like, guy's coming in a.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Beautiful time, beautiful people.
Speaker 6 (20:30):
And and this one lady, one lady was sitting there.
I was trying, so I was making everybody laugh by
the way, she's sitting there with her husband.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Her husband's laughing his ass off.
Speaker 6 (20:40):
She's sitting there straight faced, dad look at me the
whole time. I finally broke her at some point, but
I got one laugh.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
Out of her and I'm like, I win, is that
because she was a Trump maniac or because she doesn't
like Trump? She don't think it's fine?
Speaker 3 (20:53):
But it's funny.
Speaker 6 (20:54):
Because Chicago Fire they're like, yeah, well, you know, like
they got I guess they have a lot of regulars.
They come in there and they're like, yeah, you know
who would love you? Is is Democrat Rick? They're like,
who's Democrat Rick? He's like, He's the one Democrat that
comes in.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
This lady though, was she like upset because she thought
you were making fun of our president? Or was she
upset because she doesn't like our.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
PRESID think it was the stick and where it was launched.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Okay, they just want to laugh at any day.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
I guess I don't know. I was having fun with it.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
It's so fun to do that and just like and
go hard and because when you're in a character, I've
never done a character in person, just a round town before,
you can.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
Go a lot harder in a lot of different ways.
And it was very interesting. It's very fun.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
I showed up as rowdy Roddy Russ. I have my
kilt on, I have my rolly Roddy Piper shirt on
and the wrestling belt and everybody's like, oh my god,
N's gonna be so mad. I'm like, listen, I had
the kilt, I had the shirt, I had the hat.
I wanted to be able to display them the new
MWO belt to everybody. That's the belt that the men
will be wrestling for trying to win, and.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Much better than that woman one. You got it.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Yeah, I know, the men's one. That's badass and people
and I love, you know, I love the fact that
people like taking photos with it.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
And the one kid that I told you guys about
that is a great singer and he's autistic, but he
and his mom and his dad all showed up and
he was so happy to take a picture with that
belt like that made that made him so happy. And
I got him a gig out in Leesburg because his
band is great. I mean, they got a great band
and the kid can really really sing. Uh, Monster Mags.
(22:31):
As soon as I got off the bus, Monster Mags
was in Leesburg, got to see her, gave her a hat.
She got her m w O hat and she loved that.
It was great to see her.
Speaker 6 (22:39):
She loves a golf cart, yes, and she gets a
travel she brought the mayor Alan Reesman Riceman.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
I think it's right.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
The mayor was there.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
That's right. She had a golf cart.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I cout a golf cart. Down guy.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
Now people kept getting that golf cart. She was like
taking people back in back.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
She was a little shuttle.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
I should have got a Chicago dog.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
Damn it.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
Man. Uh it was. The ride over was great everyone.
I mean this time, it seemed like everybody kind of
loosened up, like right away, which was awesome.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
You know.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
A Bow came along with us. He was awesome. My
wife came this time. I'm glad she she came. It
was really really good.
Speaker 5 (23:15):
What else?
Speaker 1 (23:16):
And Daisy and I spent the first part of it
like passing out the whiskey and tequila. And there was
one one young lady and God lover her. She was awesome.
But she by the time we got to the first stop,
Bow pointed her, said, she ain't gonna make it. Rust
I'm like, we are talking about she's fine, we just
got here. She was already trashed by the time we
(23:37):
got to the first stop. And when they got to
the first stop, the first person she ran into was Angelique,
And I gotta tell you I got nothing but love
and respect for Angelique because she is like a mom, right,
she is like a she is like a step mom
or a mom or whatever. And she went into mom
mode and took care of this girl. I mean, running
(23:59):
and getting her Sam she was right, and getting her
you know, calling her husband for her, you know, getting
her in some water, taking care of I mean, she
was a mom for at least an hour. I think,
take care of this really nice lady. I mean she's
she's a sweet lady. But she just and she brought
her own bottle of whiskey and drank half of it
by the time we got to the first stop.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Well, she's nervous.
Speaker 6 (24:21):
And people getting nervous, you know, they do that and
they go a little harder because they don't they don't
understand what they're doing because maybe they don't really drink
all the time drink.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
And she came on and like she's like her husband
said she can go for her birthday. Was her you know.
But we took care of her and she had a
great time.
Speaker 3 (24:37):
But I had to put her in her husband's car.
Speaker 6 (24:39):
You did, yeah, But the last the last stop, she
she was not she was not doing well and so
I like, like basically break into her phone. Right, we
got down to like one time left before the phone
locks itself for ten hours.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
And I'm like, oh god, all right, and I'm like, honey,
I need you to really focus. What is your pin number?
And then finally we got on the last one. He
got there. He's great. We met him a bunch of times.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
He showed up at the last place because Russ. Yeah,
they've been calling me about my wife all day. I said,
Angelique has been taking care of her. I didn't know
you were as well. But Angelique's been taking care of her.
She's good. Uh it Maybe once again, every time we
do these things, I gained more and more respect for Angelique.
She's just a sweetheart. She took care of her the whole.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Time, just like a seventies janitor. It's fun.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Who was Angeline?
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Somebody said it looked at Angelie goes, oh, you look
like you're wearing a shower curtain, and I'm like, damn,
that's a mean thing to say. What would you say?
Speaker 3 (25:34):
There are some great costumes that people were wearing.
Speaker 6 (25:37):
Did you see the the Loki and the TVA agent
with that lady made her own costume from scratch and
it looked legit.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
They're the they're the winners of the costume contest on
My boss and then the winners on your guys' bosses.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
Yeah, Reese was a was it one night one night stand? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Yeah, it's not who the information I got so.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Oh really I announced it on the bush. Jack told
me to pick and I picked Reese. Who did Who
did you think it was?
Speaker 5 (26:10):
Uh? Well, I got I will we'll square away because
I got a different information.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Oh no, Jack said, who do you want? And I said,
that's definitely reed because he was a one night stand,
which was so creative and it took a lot of work. Uh.
On the it was like a uh it was a lamp, right,
and then on the lamp he had like a table.
The table was around his waist and he had like
lines of cocaine. It had a cigarette, had lottery. And
(26:36):
then his his girlfriend, who's wonderful. Uh, she was the
jager that got him there. And she did once again
what she always does. She passed out on the bus
and there's a picture of her and it's on it's
on our I put it on the Instagram or whatever.
But now she knows when she passes out to put
like a hat over her face or something because her
(26:57):
because Reese will take a picture of her and ended
up putting it in some calendar, you know, so she
knows how to cover herself up, which is was really funny.
But she woke back up and it was still a party.
And by the time we got to.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
The last disco nap in between breweries, yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
She took old disco nap, which was good. But those
two were great and they are always a lot of fun.
On the bush were some other costumes.
Speaker 3 (27:21):
Well, Tommy Austin was Prince.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Oh, yeah, that was good.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
We had John Lennon, John Lenny.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
That was really good. He shaved his beard for that,
didn't he the John Lennon guy, Yeah he did.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Actually he did Eddie because I don't recognize it.
Speaker 5 (27:35):
I told him he.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Had to tell me who he was.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
Yeah, which is just a creepy old man mask.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
The young lady that did dressed up as the guy
from It's Always Sunny and Frank Reynolds.
Speaker 5 (27:50):
Yeah that was funny.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Yeah, there's there was some great castles. Really glad people
dressed up the people that did, and I.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
Thought more people would dress up to be honest with you.
I thought more people would, but we toad. Hey, listen,
do it if you want to. You don't have to
if you don't want to. The one guy, one girl
was a leaf. No, no, what a guy was a leaf?
Andly it just some people just wore T shirts right.
One T shirt said leaf. I want to said leaf blower.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
There was a woodman. There was a like a lumberjack couple.
I remember them telling.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
Me what.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
That couple was from Tampa to come that guy they
drove out to hang out with us.
Speaker 6 (28:28):
But there's there's not a theme, and I forget what
it was, but they're just the lumberjack people in my head.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Wasn't there someone from like way out of state that
was on.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
The red the Yeah, Chris who came from North Carolina.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Him and his buds flew down.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Uh when we got to the second stop. The second
stop was in to Berries. Uh the supper cowgirl and
UH and Doug were awesome, I mean really really great.
They they I mean they performed, they were awesome. Uh
that you're obviously The Puddle Jumpers is a great place.
I enjoyed it. I had some food when I was there.
I think I had the Casadians or something like that,
(29:05):
but everyone was kind of sitting watching them and vibeing
down there. I never made it upstairs. How was the
upstairs at school? It was a really good vibe that had.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
I can't recall recollect they're their beer distributed or they
have beer samples up there as well. And then speaking
of food, I just remember I had pizza. I had
a couple of slices of pizza from Chicago Fire as well,
and they do it. Yeah, I had great pizza over there.
But yeah, it was a really good fun vibe. What
was neat about it? And maybe something to consider for
(29:36):
any future broadcasts up there. I think it might be
fun to do a broadcast from that balcony. Russ, I'm in, Yeah,
that sounds good. So I just I don't know if
there's enough room for uh goes with or it's like
it's good for the audience to come and hang out
unless we set up something in the bar.
Speaker 5 (29:53):
But it was nice.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
The day was so nice that it was nice to
be up there and catching that breeze.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Yeah you mentioned that last time. I think idea the
two the two guys addressed like Ricky Bobby, Yeah, shake
and Bay. They were funny that that was pretty cool.
I'm trying to think of what else say. I'm gonna
look at my photos there. It just was a it
was a great vibe. Everybody like there was nobody that
that was uncool, Like everybody, Oh, this is the guy.
(30:18):
This this guy was from from far away. I I
can't remember Chris, Okay, you remember, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's.
Speaker 6 (30:25):
The guy who wanted to made sure we don't talk politics,
but then would not stop talking politics.
Speaker 1 (30:29):
Oh I know. He started to try to talk and
talk about He.
Speaker 6 (30:33):
Sent in a hot take that goes like, hey, guys's
gonna be on the bus coming from North Carolina, please
don't talk any politics.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
And then the guy mostly politics from that guy, So good, good,
good on you, Chris.
Speaker 6 (30:43):
You know what I like, people just want to talk
about it. It's like I never want to talk I
don't ever.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Want to talk about politics. Christina was funny because anytime
Christina took.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
A photo to go resting, yeah, and like.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
Every picture I have it Christina, She's like, I guess
that's her Melennia Trump person And I'm like, look at
that's a pretty good rest in bitch face.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Oh yeah, I like at home all the time.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
My wife mary Ellen. She dressed like Mary Ellen, dressed
like Freddy Krueger. Right, And so before we left, she
put like some soot or whatever on her face and
then and the people are like, dude, you got a bruise.
And she's like, I don't have a bruise. I've got
some on it. I'm Freddy Krueger. What are you talking about.
She finally had to wipe it off because everybody thought
she had a bruise on her face. Uh, it was
just it was just Freddy Krueger stuff. We took some
(31:27):
We took a good I like that photo we took
together all all the monsters. That was pretty cool. Yeah,
that's a good photo that we took. Karen was there
with the hat. She she she's the one that brought
she brought a hat for Uh Monster Mags was Monster
Mags deserved to hat. Oh there's the photo I was
telling you about with Christy when she was sleep on
the bus, which was which was awesome. Uh what else
(31:50):
what else happened that was?
Speaker 3 (31:51):
It was really just a good time.
Speaker 6 (31:52):
Like if you ever get a chance to do the
Brew Bus and you haven't done it before, it's just fun.
People roll on their solo to have it good. That
there's one showing by himself is dressed as a wise man.
Was his costume.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
U friends, and it was everybody was hanging with him.
Speaker 6 (32:06):
Hanging out with him and hanging out with everybody, best
friends with everybody. By the end of the bus, but
if we're if you asked me what happens by the
time we got back here.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
By the last run home is when everybody was dancing,
and even my wife was dancing, like I mean, And
then I know Daisy said that she was h twerking
on the other bus on the blue Bush. Did she
get the did she get did she get like money
involved or whatever? Angel and got people towerk dancing.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
She gave it was twenty It is either twenty bucks
or twenty Uh.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
What's the twenty pounds? What was the pound?
Speaker 4 (32:41):
Yeah, she had some foreign denomination of money and a
twenty dollars bill and she gave that out to the
best workers.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
She did that on your bus, and then she came
back for that last little run. She came on our
bus and she was collecting money. What are you doing?
She's like, we're doing awork contest and she collected money
and passed to people who were doing the best working.
Mary only got five bucks, which was nice. Uh but
uh yeah man, all like a lot of times, it's
fun to have something to complain about because you know
(33:10):
it makes you but really there's nothing to bitch about.
It just was a fun time. I didn't really get
to talk to you guys that much at all, because
you know, there's so many people pulling us some different ways. Yeah,
but I had a blast. I had a lot of fun,
you know, just everybody was so nice. Got to meet
so many cool people, like taking the photos.
Speaker 6 (33:28):
Yeah, I'm gonna next year that I'm pacing myself a
little bit better than I did this time.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
I didn't even really get drunk.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
Oh, I definitely did. It was it was a zany
like I'm hurting today.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Really you are?
Speaker 3 (33:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (33:43):
You did?
Speaker 1 (33:43):
You drink a lot? You didn't seem like you did. No.
Speaker 4 (33:46):
I did, like I said, because I knew I had
to do the thing on Saturday, so our Sunday Sunday. Yeah,
so yeah, you seem fine. Shout out to Leesburg Chicken man.
He's the one that we had whiskey on our bus.
And so he hooked with a really fantastic bottle of
Bookers Nice and so share that with everybody. So I
wanted to make sure give him some props. We had
(34:07):
to actually a couple bottles of his whiskey out there, I.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Know, and I know Daisy brought a couple bottles of
my whiskey on your bus too. Yeah, yea, you guys
had the whiskey and the tequilas so did we. I think.
Here's what I kept thinking was, I want to make
sure everybody that paid to be on this bus has
a great time, right, Like, That's all I kept thinking about.
And by the time we were back, everyone seemed to,
you know, And that's what man. This was so much fun.
That's what you know, and that's what we strive for.
(34:30):
So we're obviously we'll do this again next year. We're
gonna do it, you know, twice in twenty twenty six.
If you've never been on a Monster Brew bus when
we play on the next one, you want to grab
them seats because it is. It is definitely a blast
and nothing to complain about. It was. It was really
really good. So all right, I take a little break,
don't go anywhere you're listening to the mantra of the
morning Ray up angels. Everything I forgot, I don't. I
(35:00):
want to make sure everybody gets the love they're supposed
to get from the monstrous.
Speaker 4 (35:04):
How about the bus drivers, Uh, let's sake you, Okay,
they are absolutely fantastic.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Uh mc MCA transportation transportation. Yeah, our bus driver was
a very nice lady.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
Yeah, our guy was absolutely fantastic, just incredibly. It's fun
to see them, how they weave in and out of
when we go into some of these small, smaller places
with those huge ass vehicles.
Speaker 1 (35:25):
And we should say those buses are normally buses where
they take you know, tourists from Disney.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
To you know, the cave o guyhead just something like that. Yeah,
our guy had just gotten back to Florida. He was
out in Arizona. Uh, he did it. He had been
gone out for like a month or so. He was Arizona.
He had done a cross country truck kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
But normally they don't do like monster beer bus parties,
you know what I'm saying, where they allow us to
party like crazy on over that. Normally they don't do that,
and they and they do that for us because the
owner is a fan and he's a super nice guy,
and they allow us to get as wild as we
want to, and can't they We looked great bus drivers, man, yeah,
great partners with them, I don't I don't remember their
(36:06):
names were so sorry.
Speaker 6 (36:07):
But the dude, the black dude, Yeah, he can park
a bus.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Impressive, Holy crap going through Mount Dora.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
Yeah yeah, I mean I had to help our other
bus driver park her bus too.
Speaker 6 (36:20):
That's how he did a move that like she goes,
she goes, I don't think I can do that, so
she calls him over.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
He gets it parked in there too. I was like,
that's so impressive.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
I don't want to think all the people that showed
up at the different locations. You know, they knew we'd
be there at a certain time, and by the time
we got there, there was already people waiting for us
when we got there. That's super cool. I love that
aspect of it. Because if he couldn't afford to go
on the on the most brew bus, or maybe it
just doesn't work out for you, you couldn't get tickets
or whatever, you can always join us at one of
(36:49):
the locations. And uh and yeah, man, that's just uh.
I just want to make sure everyone gets the love
they deserve because it was a it was a fantastic day.
I'm not I'm not sick of it yet.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Now I don't just do it next week?
Speaker 1 (37:04):
No, I say, it is like I remember, like the
last we did several monster cruises. I remember the last
Monster cruise. I'm like, okay, I'm done with this now,
I'm not doing it anymore. Or the very last Miss Monster.
I'm like, okay, I'm done with this now, I'm not
doing it anymore.
Speaker 3 (37:15):
I need to do the cruise now. I don't like
it again.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
I don't feel that way about the Monster brew Bus yet.
I'm still between the two buses.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
Not one person tried to convince me to go on
a cruise. They actually encouraged me to stick to my guns.
I heard more. I heard more horror stories of this
brew Bus than I've ever heard ever.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
I can tell you if we're not all into it,
I'm not into it, so I don't care. I think
I'm going to plan a cruise for me and my
wife during Christmas time. So well, okay, well here I'll
do mine.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
I mean, we're going to be one hundred percent transparent
and then let's do that as well. Because I don't
want to make it sound like I'm holding it up.
There are other reasons why I'm not interested. It can't
cost me money to go do this, correct, right, And so.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
That's that is another part of it. Yeah, they're not
willing to Yeah, I mean, if we're gonna get a
bunch of people to go on a cruise like you know,
this is a money making uh yeah, no, no, just
because we gotta we gotta make some money.
Speaker 4 (38:10):
All firsthand, we all firsthand have knowledge of other employees
who they've they're whatever situations, they've done this and lost
them thousands of dollars to do this, and you're and
you're supposed to be quote unquote working. I have zero
interest in do that.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
I might when we used to do the monstercras, we
used to make sure we got to take care of you. Yeah. Yeah,
so I would have to be that. I don't know
if they're willing to do that exactly.
Speaker 5 (38:32):
So I might.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
I could be interested in doing a three day cruise
potentially just to start off, like the Gentleman suggested last week,
but it's probably gonna be something on my own. According
and I'll come back and tell you guys about it.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
I think that beg Yeah, yeah, yeah, they got to
be willing to pay us. Yeah, I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (38:49):
Yeah, after I heard some of the like again, that's real.
I like it.
Speaker 4 (38:52):
I like you said, and this, I mean, this is
this is recent. This isn't you know last year or whatever.
I talked to someone who went one. They did their
their radio station cruise. It's it costs me two grand.
I'm like, yeah, we're not gonna grab it.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
We're not gonna take a thousand people in a cruise
ship and make me and I'm gonna pay They they
ain't have.
Speaker 5 (39:09):
That because well because that's the thing.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
The cruise is making all the money, right.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
And and we're there, there's no time off for us.
That's what that was what we were What I was
telling is like, that's what.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
I've been telling Ryan. Everything you're saying is one hundred
percent true. That's why that's why I didn't want to
do another cruise.
Speaker 4 (39:24):
So talking to them and they were like, yeah, that
that's the other part, Like we're working the whole time.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Ryan.
Speaker 4 (39:29):
You think it's tough on just doing the brew bus?
Oh yeah, you know, I can't I can't imagine, like
you know, twenty four to seven, you can't you know,
have a downtime.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
Yeah, if you walk out of the cabin, then you know,
listeners want to chat with you and talk to.
Speaker 6 (39:40):
You and dead I want to chat with him and
did you guys are like anti cruise.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
It's fun point listeners, I'm the cool one. I would
do it for you.
Speaker 1 (39:50):
There you go. Well, my point is is that I'm
still excited about the monstril brew bus because everyone has
been successful. And uh, that was a lot of fun,
Like I really and I was really glad my wife
came this time because she, you know, she had a
really bad experience about three three busses ago, you know,
and made her not want to go. Uh And she
went and had a great and she was dancing and
(40:10):
having a good time. And I'm like, oh, this is
this is good, this is this is awesome. So uh yeah,
all the way around, it was great. Thank you to everybody.
I hope I didn't forget to thank anyone. I hope
I didn't forget this, you know, to mention.
Speaker 4 (40:21):
Shout out to our partner so Chicago fire Wolf Branch,
Eaton Abbey and uh Puddle Jumpers. Yes, yeah, I mean
without their their help, it doesn't happen as well.
Speaker 1 (40:32):
So Chill Jumpers was a big you know, a big sponsor.
They were great. Savanna Savino I forgot to mention her.
Savannah Savina was performing at the first stop and she
was great and awesome. Uh, you know, that was good.
And you know, I asked those two to perform and
and you know for tips and stuff, and they gladly
did it and people were tipping them, which was good. Uh,
that's the first time I'd really seen the stubborn Cowgirl
(40:53):
and Doug perform for a long period of time. And
