or something like that, if you would have checked the

And she gives a look to him, and if you've
watched this, you know what I'm talking about. She gives
a look to him that is the most I will

some point, and it's probably some of the best acting
I've ever seen.

other actors and actresses in it that you recognize from

one of the kids in it, and she's all grown
up now.

because he watched it after I said to watch it,

because he watched it after I said to watch it,

you know, wanting to win an Academy Award or be
nominated or something.

He's well out of the like out of all the
movies that have kind of done this thing where they're
taking these you know, characters and make them you know,
uh doc you know, docu dramas, whatever you want to
call it. So far, he's the one that's still getting
the run that he's going to get. Then he's going
to get the nomination.

Yeah, now, and that's not my opinion.

This is like you know, people from different industries, pages
and publications and everything. Let's put it this way. Vegas
was had to spread on this. He's the odds on
favorite to get it for that particular role.

Well, when they're talking about movies in twenty twenty five
and they talk about movies that tank, Christy comes up
with Sidney Sweeney and then they talk about The Smashing
Machine with Duane the Rock, John say that both those were,
you know, big flops. So can do big flops get
nominated or do you know.

It'll be interesting?

I mean like like like whenever the Oscars pick a
like a movie that like we've never heard of.

It's always like, well it did so well at festivals,

Don't got to standing ovation at Colm. Yeah, so that
got a standing ovation as possible. Christy got a standing
ovation at another film thing. And here's the difference of failure. Right,
you could be let's say, a commercial failure and be
a critical success. And that's how they're painting his movie
with Christie. They're not given they're not giving it even

And you guys love them. And I'm going to watch
it as soon as at home.

was there the times that she was the champion, and

these people. So I definitely want to see it. I
just didn't want to run out to the movie theater.

I feel bad for a little bit, even though I
wasn't a big fan of the movie itself.

him not get an Oscar.

Did was they released Frankestan on Netflix obviously, but so
they could get the Oscar nomination.

They kind of they were kind of playing the system.

It was out two weeks in the movie theater, it
was out for.
Speaker 6 (27:27):
A couple of weeks and and only in like three
thousand theaters. Yeah, and they did that so they could
just do the bare minimum to get the Oscar, and Netflix,
you know, wanted it on their platform. Well, the Oscars
were like, we know what you're doing, and no, we're
not going to allow this.

Really, so he's not eligible for he.
Speaker 6 (27:46):
Can get he can get like technical Oscars, like the
movie can be nominated for like technical Oscars, but he
can't win Best Picture.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
I seriously enjoyed that movie. Yeah, I thought it was
really really good.
Speaker 6 (27:56):
It's the shame because I think if they would have
just released that movie normal, he would.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
Be up for a lot of that stuff.

Yeah, well, Smashing Machine, I was just say I didn't
like it.

if he won or lost.

He seemed like a painty ass and it really had
no ending at all, and I wasn't. I mean, you know,
the Rock, you know, I think you know the Rock
does good stuff and and all that.

But he was good comedic actor. I don't need to
see him be serious. I don't need to see the
serious side of the Rock.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't need to see that. So anyway,

the tree that we got, the Christmas tree that we
got normally was like three or four hundred dollars or something,
but we got it on special. We got it for
one hundred bucks and it's it's from China. So like,
I don't know, I think you still you can look
and find deals.

You know, there's always gonna be deals, And like it
didn't slow down like the black It slowed down Black
Friday shopping, but not to like, you know, the level
they thought. People still dole out money in this time
of year because we're in a capitalist society and that's
what we do.

I'm just like, like you guys said, like if you're
gonna help us out with the bike drive, we really

deals out, but typically historically for businesses, that's why Black
Friday was always kind of a big deal. Is that

what I'm saying, get back into it. Just doing a
quick search around a couple of different financial indicator sites,
RUSS bicycles are anywhere from sixteen to sixty percent higher
now depending on like again, like if you're buying a
high end bicycle road by kind of thing, which is

a few thousand dollars, that's probably where you're going to
notice a more impactful kind of a situation because of
some of the specialized parts that make up comprise those
very specialized bicycles, are you know, manufactured elsewhere right.
