So I work for Florida Blue. I'm in Florida Blue Medicare.
So it's kind of hard to explain, but I'm a
senior advisor. I help my team answer questions for members
and basically just help with enrollment after people have already enrolled.
We kind of fixed the issues that come up with enrollment.

to deal so you have to deal with people are
kind of in a bad mood.

this is interesting and again we never we've kind of
danced around this story a little bit russ But there
was a settlement and the settlement this was NASCAR. Michael

Jordan and twenty three, uh twenty one teams filed lawsuit
versus NASCAR in regards to their charter system for the teams. Right,
and this is the way that NASCAR has been doing
it now. All the teams weren't happy about this charter

system because they felt like it kept them, it limited
their possibilities to create revenue and whatever.

But this is what NASCAR did.

Only two teams actually took them to court, come to
find out. Had let's say they lose this settlement or
they don't get this settlement, Jordan says he probably wouldn't
have been able to race next season, Like this was
a big deal to them. So NASCAR in the ninth
day of this trial of this antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR,
they came out and they're like, Okay, we're gonna settle

as the cases you know, being doled out and they're
seeing the evidence that's being presented to the jury.

to launch a professional league. This move allows the NFL

up to thirty two million dollars in said league. So
we're going to have an NFL backed a flag football

supportive and cheering. So that's a that's one of the
games that's going to go down. So some of the
bowl games this weekend. On Saturday, we're gonna have the
Celebration Bowl. That's gonna be South Carolina State versus Prairie
View A and M. And then we've got that it's

either the LA Bowl or the level it's the LA
BWL and that's gonna be Boise State versus Washington and
that's gonna be at eight o'clock on Saturday, the Lea Bowl. Now,
this is interesting and again we never we've kind of
danced around this story a little bit russ But there
was a settlement and the settlement this was NASCAR. Michael
(21:30):
Jordan and twenty three, uh twenty one teams filed lawsuit
versus NASCAR in regards to their charter system for the teams. Right,
and this is the way that NASCAR has been doing
it now. All the teams weren't happy about this charter
(21:52):
system because they felt like it kept them, it limited
their possibilities to create revenue and whatever.

But this is what NASCAR did.

Only two teams actually took them to court, come to
find out. Had let's say they lose this settlement or
they don't get this settlement, Jordan says he probably wouldn't
have been able to race next season, Like this was
a big deal to them. So NASCAR in the ninth
day of this trial of this antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR,
they came out and they're like, Okay, we're gonna settle
(22:22):
as the cases you know, being doled out and they're
seeing the evidence that's being presented to the jury.

So Michael Jordan basically won.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yeah, why is it Michael Jordan never looks happy. Like
when I was watching him to do the interview this morning,
he looked all he doesn't He didn't smile anymore.

He didn't smile like he's happy when he's winning.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Yeah, I don't know, he did win. That was I
don't know if that's I don't know if.

That's like a spike the football kind of a moment
to be like raw raw and in that moment because
of all the whole process of it, Like if you
watch him on the NFL, NBC broadcast, he's NBA broadcast.
I'm sorry, and he's yeah, he's having a good time.
He and and like when when his team is won
races in those post race interviews, he's always pretty joyful everything.

But I don't know, I don't know if again I
would say decorum dictates and maybe just like, hey, listen, Okay,
this was a hard fought process, but I still want
to I still got to work with these guys. I
still got to do all this is so I don't
want to be like, you know, you know, like football
kind of thing, you know. But so it's what ultimately,
what this does is going to help the other all

the teams in NASCAR and help them with their revenue
and be able to you know, make money in the
in the league, make money and everything.

We kind of touched on this RUSS and we're getting
even more details and it's just even more scary. But
the coaches Sharone Moore the University of Michigan, so the
you know, he's arrested now, and there were some instances
or there. It looks like if the stories of the
reports are confirmed. The reason it's kind of to protect
him from himself. There was a point where it looks

like that he was threatening.

To harm himself.

Yeah, it showed up at a residence and with a knife,
but it was, you know, to kind of hurt himself.
So we'll see how that pans itself out. And then
an announcement from the NFL. The NFL is launching a
flag league that with a flag football set to make
Olympic debut in twenty twenty eight. The NFL has voted
to launch a professional league. This move allows the NFL

to enter in an agreement with a partner and invest
up to thirty two million dollars in said league. So
we're going to have an NFL backed a flag football
league here.

And I wanted to get because Dale Torburg has been
so wonderful with us, especially helping me with the wrestling

MWO or wrestling, and I called Dale Torberg and he
helps me tremendously.

this event.

everybody dresses up in Santa outfit and surfs and surfs
and gets out there and surf.

Did That's a long time ago. From a board down

No, Once my surfboard broke and I was too broke
to fix it, I was like, I don't serve anymore.

showed up on Christmas Eve.

Yeah, that's why Santas Surf. It's a big party, dude.

It's pretty It was fun to see it on social media,
but because it is a bunch of dudes, and it's
crazy how the surf bros are and the weekend Warriors
they all got their you know, surfing Santa geiron and everything.

Yeah, And this year Shags Surf Shop is sixty years old,
so it's kind of our big debut back into the world.
And so I'm really excited about it. And I just
