Very cool. Time to be a nerd twenty twenty five.
Not gonna lie to you.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Uh but yeah, man, Uh, first of all, Batman news rush, Yeah,
big Batman news happening. I saw this, uh, scar Joe Scarlett,
Joe Hanson one time, one time. That was my Hollywood actress,
your crush. Yeah, because Christina kind of looks like her
a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Uh oh, I don't see that at all.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Well do you tell her that to her face?
Speaker 2 (01:39):
I think Christina is much better looking me too. See
what I did there?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Yeh yeah, yeah, yeah, but she is now uh, I
mean it looks like she's getting the nod to jump
into the next Batman movie in place of Zoe Kravitz,
who's back down of playing Catwoman.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
So, but they're not gonna have Scarjo play Catwoman. There's
another character they want her to do.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Here's my thing. I don't know why I feel this way,
but I do. I think you should either you either
pick Marvel or DC and and the two should not cross.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
You should not flip over to the DC world. If
you're already a Marvel superhero.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
That's that's super sailed a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Buddy.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
There's there's lots of actors who've done both.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
No.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I know, Ben Affleck was was Daredevil and he was Batman.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Who else is split? Oh yeah, you had?
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Let's say here, well you have.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Michael Keaton was in Spider Man and he was also
famously Batman.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
True.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Holly Berry was in a couple of g C and
MC movies.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Oh yeah, she was a catwoman for like a really
bad catwoman.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
And she was Storm in the X Men.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
That's right. Yeah, I don't know. I just for some reason,
I don't like when they do you like when they
flip like that.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Uh, it does not bother. It doesn't bother because they're actors.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Scarjo is supposed to play in the Scarlett Johanson who's
supposed to play in Batman.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
I don't think they've said yet. They haven't said yet.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Here's where I'm at though, on it. Stop giving Scarlett
Johanson stuff. She's had all the things. We're good now,
scar Joe, we're good. I know you've got a fairy
in Manhattan to pay for with your husband, but no,
I'm good.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
I'm scared Joe app They've.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Literally she's done Asian face, she's done a bunch of
other different kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
She's been in everything. I don't need her anymore.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
But I'm not that enthralled with her, and I know
a lot of people are, and they think she's beautiful
and all that.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
She doesn't. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
I'm not that big of a I don't dislike her,
but it's not like I go crazy over her like
you do.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Well, I stopped going crazy for I don't know. I
you know, I don't know. I just kind of find
her acting to be not that great now at this point, right.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
I'd falling out with several of my legs.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
You know how this goes. I was a Natalie Portman
fan for a long time.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (03:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yeah, I know I do this too, you know, I
no longer you.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I know what it was.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
I found on Nallie Portman's like way smarter than me,
and it was like, nah, I don't need this.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, I'm not a Reese Witherspoon guy anymore. I was
for many many years, and Dylan Dryer not there anymore.
And then it was Jennifer Gardner. I know it's worth
an end, not with a d Gardner, But now I
think I'm more of a Jennifer Lawrence guy.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Okay, Well, you like who you like, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I've always had like an actress in the background too,
where I'm like, okay, there's my hall pass.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Hey, but I don't have that.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Do you mind?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
I know this is nerdy news, but while we're talking actresses,
do you mind if I point something out?
Speaker 1 (04:35):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (04:36):
There are actresses that are really really good at what
they do, but they don't lean on their looks. Would
you say that, like the one we're talking about Scarlet Johansson.
The part of the appeal of her is that she's
really considered a beautiful woman, right.
Speaker 4 (04:53):
I mean there's there's movies where I really liked her
into that one she's in with Bill Murray, Lost in
Translation and things on it.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
So she has movies where she's a great actress too.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
But do you think that people like her for her
acting skills? Are like, oh wow, that's that's that Scarlin
and Johanssen, she's hot.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
I was more of a fan of how she looks.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Okay, So there are actresses, and there are three different
shows out right now where these women it's not their looks.
And I'm not saying they're ugly or they're you know, unattractive,
but they're not. They don't lean on their looks, but
their acting is absolutely incredible. And there's three shows and
I crushed one this weekend.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Now I told you about all her fault with Sarah Snook.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Sarah Snook is one of the best actresses that's out there,
not particularly over Yea from Succession not. You know, you're
not gonna say I'm watching it because she's hot.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
She's just a great actress.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Another one is the Pluribus that you guys have me
watching with a real Seahorn. That's another one that is
not relying on her looks. She's just an incredible actress,
you know, just off the chain. And I don't know
who's better between Ria Seahorn and Sarah Snook when it
comes to acting. And then I watched another one this weekend.
I'm like, damn, this is another one that it's not
(06:06):
her looks. The reason we're watching it's that she is
a freaking incredible actress. And I got to put her
up here with Sarah Snook and Reya Seahorn. And that
is The show is called The Beast in Me and
it's on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Claire Danes Claire Danes was.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
From Claire Danes is a beautiful actress.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Do you think so? Yes, I do not think you're.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
An insane person. Danes is classically beautiful.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
I don't know, man, I don't know that I would
call her. I don't think she's leaning on her looks
for her for what she does. I mean, okay, right there,
she looks pretty. Okay, I get you. But in this
show In the Beast in Me, which is really good.
It's on Netflix if you haven't seen it, I would
say I crushed the entire thing this weekend and it's
really good. But I don't know that she she doesn't
(06:53):
lean on her looks like. Her acting skills are right
up there. And these are sure three women that got
leads in their own shows because they're just great, great actresses.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I well, Clare Danes had both.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
I think she clar Dance is incredibly strikingly beautiful and
is an amazing actress.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
At the same time.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
She makes really weird eyes, like her eyes get all
big and weird, and she's got big ears.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
And she acts with her face that you need. You
need a face that acts.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
She's got an actor that's the.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Problem with most of like a Sydney Sweeney. Her face
can't act.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Yeah, yeah, she sees she's an actress only because she's hot.
Right now, another one, Mark, Margot Robbie is actually a
really good actress.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
But we did you think of her being hot? First? Agreed?
Speaker 4 (07:33):
Margot Robbie is so distractingly hot it gets in the
way of her acting, correct though. Yeah, yeah, so I
don't know I but like dudes have this too, Like
there's yes, like, who's the guy.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Glenn Powell isn't because he's good looking? Dude.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Well, there's fat Matt Damon, which is that fat Damon?
Fat Damon?
Speaker 4 (07:50):
I can't remember his name, but he's an incredible actor. Yeah,
he looks like a melty Matt Damon. But then Quentin
Tarantina got still taking l's right now because he decided
to call out Paul Dano.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Yeah, that poor guy.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
You know what he said. He's like, man, that really
hurt my feelings. He's like, man, that really hurt.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
But he's but Paul Dano is an amazing actor, but
like not conventionally attractive by any means.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
But here's neither. Quentin Tarantino.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Yeah, yeah, Quentin Tarantino is is a bug man.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah, he looks like a bug man.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Who's why is he talking about people? I don't know?
Speaker 4 (08:26):
But Quentin Tarantino. I mean, here's the thing with Tarantino.
You can't take away his directing. He's like one of
the greatest directors of our time, I know. But as
a person and as an actor, he's horrible.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
You know. Oh yeah, he's the word.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
He always puts himself in his movies and he cannot act,
that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
And he wants to put actresses feet in his mouth.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
And yet he's talking about other people's acting.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Uh, Just one last little bit of nerdy news The Boys.
The Boys dropped their final trailer, or I find the
trailer for their final season came out and it looks
like everybody's gonna die. It looks very apopcalyptic, and it's
just what I need. I like when a season plays
out a run, it's noses ending, it doesn't overstay, it's welcome,
(09:09):
and I think the new season The Boys is gonna
be great. I watched gen V on Amazon Prime, which
is like the spinoff where that's like the kids in
you know, college, and I guess there's gonna be some
more spinoffs after this.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Main season ends. But I'm good with that.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
I think Homelander is one of the greatest characters on TV,
just as far as like, not necessarily the actor I'm
talking about. The character itself is such an interesting, complex character.
I get mad at him all the time, right, you know,
like he really like boils my blood, and I rarely
find that in a TV show or a movie.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
So boys, fans stick around for that. That'll be coming.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
It looks like it's gonna be dropping on May twentieth
of next year. So a little bit of time, a
little bit of tom But you have just heard the
nerd brought to you by that mortgage guy down from
that mortgage guy don dot com. Don't miss the boat.
Compare your quote with that mortgage guy. Donnie does it all,
including small business loans, and it's fantastic to work with.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Check them out on show.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
It shall be all right, hey, if you want to
join us on Wednesday, the Monsters, the News Junkie, and
The Jim Colbert Show are all gonna be at Orlando.
Harley Davidson brought to you by Just Calmo. Please bring
buy a bike and we're trying to get as many
bikes as possible to give kids for a Christmas and
we will all be there on Wednesday, So come by,
bring a bike, say hello and join us. And once
again it's at Orlando Harley Davidson. You can see it
(10:28):
right off by four. That's the one you can see
off I four. I think you get off of John
Young there to come by and too hide tole Yeah, yeah,
so do that on Wednesday. Obviously we'll be there from
six to eleven. The News Junkie will be there from
eleven to three, and then Jim Colbert Show will be
there from three to seven. All this Wednesday, you're listening
to the Mantra, the morning Bill. Hey if you don't
(10:59):
have play And Saturday night Transliberian Orchestra is happening.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Now there's two shows.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
I forget which I know. I'm at the seven o'clock show.
I'm at the second show. There's a there, there's a
show beforehand. I think it starts at maybe three or
four o'clock or whatever.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
And what they.
Speaker 3 (11:16):
Do trans Iberian Orchestra is they take a portion of
the proceeds and they give it to local charities. And
they have picked the Karla k Cancer Screening Fund as
one of the charities and I am going to be
asked to be on stage right before the second showing
and it's quite an honor. And we you know, we
take the money and we help people get cancer screening
(11:36):
if they have cancer you know, in their family and
they you know, they have financial problems, they can't afford
to get the cancer screening. We pay for them and
try to help people catch cancer early and save lives.
And which is uh, you know, which is you know
a way I've been dealing with my my sister passing,
but they've they've chosen us to to you know, receive
a check on stage, which is really really cool. And
(11:57):
I will be at that second showing at inside Berrian Orchestra.
So if you are thinking about doing it, I remember
portion of the proceeds goes you know, helping helping prevent cancer,
and uh, it will be a great time.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Have you ever been to it? Ryan T.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
S O. I have not yet myself been to it.
My mom went and she loved it, loved it.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Are you going this week or no? Saturday night?
Speaker 1 (12:19):
No, I won't be able to do it this week.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Yeah, it's fun though, Man, it really is cool. It's
it's a full on rock show. But it's Christmas. And
I know that doesn't sound like it goes together, but
somehow it does and they do an incredible job. So
that's this Saturday for that. I remember this Wednesday, we're
collecting bikes for uh, you.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Know, for kids, you know, for for Christmas. Welcome back.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
I'm Russ with Ryan all here today. I do have
another topic.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
But it's I'll do it, jes come on.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
But it's a really good topic and everybody's talking about it.
But okay, it's got trumping it and people get mad
if you even bring him up and whatever, so I'll
skip it for a second.
Speaker 5 (12:57):
Well, I mean the hook, okay, Well it's just this okay,
and I'm actually going to defend Donald Trump for those
of you that are that are you know, we're like, oh,
you're only one way.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
I just trying to be I'd use my head and
like this is just what I see right right, so
and listen, part of this is terrible, uh. And that's
the the fee free days that they have at the
National parks. Like the thing just came out, Ryan, and
they decided to uh, they decided to drop Martin Luther
King Day and to drop June teenth, and those aren't free.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
You can't get into the parks for free.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
For those, but for Flag Day you can get in
for free. Right, but Flag Day also is Donald Trump's birthday,
so depending on what. And this is why I wanted
to bring it up, because I wanted to point out
the hypocrisy or the you know.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
Hey, you.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Almost can't believe what you what you hear, because there
are some news agencies that are reporting it as well.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
On Flag Day you can get to.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
The parks for free, and other places are saying on
Donald Trump's birthday, you can get into the National parks
for free, depending on who wants to spend it, you
know what I'm saying, Like, on how you want to
spend it, they just coincidentally they're the same day, and
you know, and you have.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
To ask yourself the question.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Okay, well, first off, to drop Juneteenth and to drop
Martin Luther King Day is horrible. I mean, that's almost
like saying that, hey, we know there's a large portion
of you know, Black Americans that really these days are
super important and we're not gonna we're not gonna, you know,
we're not gonna notice them at all. We're gonna take
(14:42):
them off. That's terrible. It's horrible. Those days should be
free as well. It's a travesty that they're taking the
They're just terrible. But to add Flag Day, I have
no problem with that, Like that's okay. You know, Flag
Day should be free at the National Parks. I get that.
The fact that it's Donald Trump's birthday. I mean, do
you I think that's the reason you can get in
(15:02):
for free on those days? Or is it because it's
Flag Day? It would it makes sense if it's Flag Day.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
There's nothing like sneaky. I don't know if.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
He wanted it to be his birthday, he would just
say it. That's how Donald Trump is well.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
On NPR, it says National Parks fee free calendar drops
Martin Luther King Day, Juneteenth are dropped ads Trump's birthday.
They don't mention that that's Flag Day. And I think
that is a spin that is not fair, you know
what I'm saying, Like, I believe they're adding it because
(15:38):
it's Flag Day, not because it's Donald Trump's birthday. But
I don't know how who decided to do it that way?
Speaker 2 (15:45):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Now, if I go to another one, if you go
to Fox, they say that it's because it's Flag Day.
If you go to CNN, they say, well, yeah, he
did it because it's Donald Trump's birthday.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
So that's you know, that's the way it's reported. You
have to ask yourself like, well, okay, what you know,
what's the real.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Reason the dropping. The dropping of the two dates is
petty af it's terrible. It seems to be the m.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
It's almost like saying, hey, listen, uh, the history of
Black Americans is not important to this country. What you've
what you've what you've done and provided to this country
not important. We're gonna take that.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
I think I know these guys that the unfortunately I've
just lived through Thanksgiving. Uh, so I know these guys.
They're not they're not They're not like what black people
did is unimportant. It's that like these guys genuinely believe that, hey,
we're all the shame. Okay, you shouldn't have black days
(16:43):
over we don't have white days, okay, So that doesn't
need to be a thing that separates us, that divides us.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
That's literally how they look at it.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
A lot of I don't think a lot of them
think in a hateful way of like stop giving black
people holidays. I really feel like they they're just like, hey,
we've moved past that.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
You do realize the Black Americans, it seems as if
they're saying, Hey, your days that are important to you
aren't important to us, and we're not even gonna let
you in the parks for free those days.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
That's terrible.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Uh well there's still federal holidays, right, so they're still
getting the day off.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:13):
But and white people could go in on those days also,
they still got to pay. It's not like they made
it free for whites. That would be a different scenario.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Right. It's funny to.
Speaker 4 (17:23):
Talk to these people because I always like to hear
people out like, believe it or not, people that text
into this show. I'm very middle of the road, I
really am, and I'm a Republican. So I got a
lot of people in a family and a lot of
friends like this. They literally just feel it's the same argument.
It's comical that they do it to me, but they do.
(17:44):
It's the same argument that they're like, oh, well there's
a beet and then there's specific black things that like,
and they feel genuinely feel that we've moved past it.
I don't necessarily agree that we've moved past it and
fixed our mistakes, but that's why they want this stuff gone.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's not I don't think it's mostly out of hate.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
There are some hateful people out there for sure that
definitely just want to go, but I don't think the majority.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
I just think the optics of the country doing that
is bad. It looks bad, and why not just let
and let people get in to the National parks on
Martin Luther King Day for free and June teenth for free?
Who cares? What does it matter?
Speaker 3 (18:23):
And instead of reporting that, you know, you get in
for free on Donald Trump's birthday, I think the report
is is that that's on Flag Day. And I think
that's you know, and I'm not a Trump fan, but
I but I'm defending it side of it here. It's like,
you know, it is Flag Day. You should be able
to get into the National parks for free on Flag Day.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
I think that Flag Day is a weird one for me.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
It's all been odd holiday because it's the adoption of
the very first flag that we had. Yeah, but we've
had several flags since then.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
I mean, the flag has changed, the flag has changed.
Speaker 4 (18:55):
I mean it was the first the circle stars were
the thirteen stars.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Then as we slowly started adding more.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
States, Yeah, they added more in.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Flag.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
In general, I respect the US flag and all it does.
I think I would love it. It was just like
a star, just one star, one big star, Texas style
in the corner.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
And let me tell you why.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
As a child, very hard to draw the American flag
when you have to, when you have to sit there
and count out fifty stars and leave all the spacing.
I remember like the days they'd be like, Okay, we're
gonna draw the flag. I did not like that. Same
thing with the Florida flag. I want the Florida flag
chains too complicated.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Hey, you know how the Disney the flags that they
have only have like like forty eight stars or whatever,
so they can keep them up all the time and
they don't have to take them down like that, and
they don't have.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
To abide by lazy Disney.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
They don't have to abide by the rules of taking
the flag down or whatever either.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
They have like.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
It looks like an American flag, but guess what we're
missing the doubles stars.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
That's true story.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
That feels lazy and unpatriotic, even though they have America
Town there, you know what I mean? Yeah, put just
take the flags down. Hire the flag guy. He just
goes through the park all day putting up and taking
down flags.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
That's weird.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
I would put forty eight flags stars on that. That's
why I don't want to add another state, you know.
And there's all this talk about like Atica adding like
another state fifty one stars.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
It's very disruptive to the design off.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Yeah, we're good at fifty fifties at least perfect geometrically.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, you know what I mean. But I don't know.
I would Where are you at on the Florida flag?
Is it a good flag for you?
Speaker 2 (20:36):
I know, I think we could have done better.
Speaker 4 (20:39):
I think we could have done way better because I
like the white in the in the red stripiness to it.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Which when you get to that seal of Florida.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, there's a woman on it. Yeah, there's a Spanish
ship on there. Yeah, there's like some fruits and the ocean.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
It's a lot.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Yeah, we should clean it up a little bit.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
I would just like a big f to be honest
with you, just a big just just floora here's our
flags just a big a f take that.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
It does sort of look like the stars and bars.
This sort of looks like the Confederate flag.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
Yeah, I'm kind of a vexology nerd. I really that's
and that's just flags.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Yeah. I really enjoy like a well put together flag.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
And there's a lot of states right now that have
like been like toying with the idea of changing their flag,
and they offer to artists and they put these things up. Yeah,
and some of them are really really good and some
are trash. But I think if I had to make
a tier list of our flags, out of fifty, I
think Florida ranks probably lower forties.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yeah, it's not Yeah, we could have done better. We
maybe putting we should put a gator on.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
There, Yes, shark, flamingo, anything like that.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
You said flamingo the other day, you said flamingo shouldn't
be the state bird or.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Scrub j The problem is that Flamingo has great pr
team and everybody knows about the flamingo.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Not everybody knows about the scrub jay.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
And I think this flamingo is kind of cool looking.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Flamingo is a cool looking bird, But this Flamingo's other
places I mean they're gators other places.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
The scrub jay is the only thing that's here. So
I do you know what, I want?
Speaker 2 (22:05):
A panther?
Speaker 1 (22:05):
I want? I want either. I want a badass animal
on my flag.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Panther, panther, gater. You gotta go gator right with a knife.
People think about gators in Florida. Matter of fact, they
just did on CBS Sunday morning. They did.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
They were like in the Evergrades and the ever Glades
that that moment of silence they do or whatever. Uh,
they do this thing at the end of the show. Uh,
and it's like they go for the Uh.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
It's not silence, but it's like a moment in nature
and for like one minute, they just put the camera
in nature. And when they will go to Florida, it's
always wait to kill time. I guess I don't know why,
but I love it.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
It's like there's no sound, it's just the the sounds
of nature and you get to see the gatory whatever
doing gator business.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Yeah, like we are not like let's let's let's like
kind of lean into it. Look, we could do it
as a temporary flag. Maybe we just change it for
a year and if you like it. We can go back.
But like, yeah, we're known for gators. We're known for
being like a little rough and ready for order man style,
and I just don't think our flag portrays that. Right,
We're not like agreed at least make the Indian like
(23:07):
the Native American woman.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
Hot, you said Indian, You almost said Indian.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Well you can say it now. Trump said, so that's true.
You did not be able to say it.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Now you can say it. Now, you can say it,
say it all you want.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
He did. He did what you do, which is he goes,
he goes Indian. Can't say Indian. Indians. Everybody wants to
step saying except for the Indians. They like it.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
The Indians like it.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Yeah, nothing like I'm in.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
I'm literally you can watch me in the growth of
this show over the six almost seven years I've been
doing this.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
Look, I'm the first one to admit a my opinion
can be changed. Yeah, And I'm at the point in
this era of my life nothing matters and.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
I'm not gonna get upset about it. Good.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
That's kind of where I'm at. Like you want to
you don't want to change the name.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
I don't care.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
I see people get so mad whenever we bring out
if we bring up politics, and that really wasn't about politics.
That was this our country has decided to let people
into the national parks free, and they've taken away a
couple of days and added one. And I was just
curious what people thought. But boy, you bring it up
and it's still a lightning rod. And guys, I really
don't care that much. Like I've got my opinion or
(24:13):
what I think is nice and what I think is
not nice.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
And other than that, I don't go that much deep
into the politics.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
And when I go home, and then when we cut
these mics off, I get my car, I go home,
and I kiss my wife and I pet my dog.
None of this matters. Yeah you know what I mean, Like,
I don't. None of these guys live rent free. In
my head, no meaning unless it's But I'm also like
a baby, to be fair, Like I have a very
big problem with the cognitive awareness. So if something's not
(24:42):
in front of me, I kind of forget about it,
which is a bit of a blessing. It's mostly a curse,
but it's a bit of a blessing because until I
turn on the TV of whatever, propaganda channel happens to
beyond then I'm unhappy, so I just turn it off
when I go about my day.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
I will say this Saturday on Saturday, because you know,
we were up late Friday night the Missponstrable Burlesque and
I was, you know, uh, feeling tired or.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Whatever, and it was kind of rainy. Basically we just.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
I didn't really watch I watched a little bit of
college football, not that much, and we just turned on
like Christmas music and sat on the back porch and
looked at the lake and watched the sunset and just
enjoyed life.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
And I sat back fifty times to go, man, I
love my life.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
I love where I'm at, you know, just just appreciated life.
I don't sit around and get mad about Biden or
Trump or Obama.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Or all like that.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
Like that's stuff like we I look at the news
in the morning, and if it's part of the news,
I'm like, I probably need to mention that. Other than that,
I watch whatever Kiss does.
Speaker 4 (25:39):
I Also, I just got mad about something our listeners
brought up. Did you know there's an Orlando flag, an
official flag of Orlando.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
Haven't seen it?
Speaker 1 (25:48):
It's this Oh yeah, I wish like I want this change.
Let me tell you why.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
I want our identity as Orlandonians stop being that effing fountain.
So it's there's so much more to Orlando than this fountain,
and we put it on everything.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
It looks it's the fountain.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
Was kind of looks like a nipple, though it looks
like something else.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
It looks like the head of something spitting out some
water is what it looks like.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
Yeah, but like if it turned the flag sideways, it's
like a, yes, it's a it's a nipple spring water.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
I see that. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah, I don't like it changed the flag.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I didn't know there was an Orlando flag. There.
Speaker 3 (26:27):
We go, Okay, So I had a little little drama
over the weekend. I'll tell you about when we come back.
You hear drama.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
It's just like it's like our own little personal drama. Uh,
we got that.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
And then also coming up in a little bit, we
will have trivia your tank to win some stuff. Now
I don't know what kind of prizes we have. Last
week it was amazing. Will it be amazing with Ryan? Uh,
we don't know. We're gonna blame it all on Ryan.
That cattle corn is looking good.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
You want it? I mean, you know at some point
you come here get it.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
You know, Miami Dolphins crushed the Jets. I mean it
ain't got a rushak. They crushed them. It wasn't even close.
Break all right, you're listening to the Mars in the morning.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Taking his way to the ring for more rams your
Florida triple ray.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Well I wasn't doing it now, I was doing at nine.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Oh you said trivia surprises and whatnot.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
I assume it was.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Now howing up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Yeah, okay, well never mind, we're done.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
We're doing it at nine o'clock though, shut up, there
you go, Now you getting nothing?
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Okay, hold on for one second, yeah yeah, let me
need that.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Welcome back to the Marchess Mornings. We're Radio one on
four point went, oh look what I got got some
teteal corn, I got cash money in my pucket.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Tired for this today? What I don't know.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Why you would have bet on the Jets. That don't
make a whole lot of sense.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
It was a fourteen dollars a pretty promising coming, honest with.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
There, So you bet because it was a they were
the underdogs.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
They were underdog.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
I think and like I said, my parlay mostly paid
off except for the Jets.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
I think the Jets. That was a winnable game for
the Jets. It wasn't like that.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
It did not look like it.
Speaker 4 (28:23):
Again, that spread was only plus one thirty, so it
wasn't like it wasn't one of those like four hundreds.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
So you know, I'll take it.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Hey, you want to hear a little behind the scenes drama.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (28:37):
This is real?
Speaker 4 (28:37):
You?
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Ok, anytime I'm talking about wrestling, Okay, you know, there's
a part of it that's tongue.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
In cheek, you know, you know, goofy, goofy. You know,
we're having fun, a little big dumb fun. You have
fun with it. And then some of it is like, okay,
this is real, negotiation.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Real because you know, there there's a lot involved in
putting together a big wrestling match. And the thing that
we're doing in winter hey is like all you know,
we've got the friends of ours from Pro Wrestling Action
that are that are you know, doing a lot of it.
But I mean, you know, I'm putting it all together
and we've got the we we got the bus that
(29:13):
Ryan's going to bring from Orlando to here.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
That's you know, that's part of the situation.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
We've got a sponsor that's out at winter Haven and
this is that Tanners and Old Man Franks Hillman Motors,
which is where I bought my boat. They're one of
the sponsors out there. This has grown into a pretty
big event, which is you know that takes a lot
of uh takes a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
To put one of these together.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
And uh, it started out that I just wanted to
do a little something fun out in winter Haven where
I live. And then now it's turning into this big,
big event. We're all gonna be there. Angel's going to
be DJ and you know, Ryan's got the Bush. Angel
League's gonna be out there to come out with Amber Nova.
Ambernova's got her match against j C.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
Love Teo. Piper uh is going.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
To you know, she's your MWO champion and she's the
main event.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
And then we've got the men's tournament because the next
year we're going to add a men's champion. Because we
had the women's champion, might as well have a you know,
a men's champion. So right, I'm putting it all together. Right,
So when I when we look at put the word
out that hey, there, we're going to do a tournament
for men, and there'll be one guy that's the winner
and he can come in and promote, just like Teal
(30:18):
Piper gets to come in and promote. I have more
guys wanting to do this, then we have space for
a tournament.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
You know what I'm saying, Like a tournament. I think
it's how many all together?
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Like eight, guy, you know, we need eight, eight, nine, twelve,
I think twelve all together.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Then I have over twenty.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Five guys that want to do it, so I have
to like talk to them and look at their look
at their their videos, and we'll look at their videos
and stuff, said which guys would be the best.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Ones to be a part of this tournament? And uh,
and one of.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
The guys that really wanted to do it is Teal
Piper's husband, Demos. And you met Damos. He was in here, right,
a big scary looking guy. Yeah, so Damons like he
definitely wants to do it.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
So almost it's.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
When I'm talking to some of these guys that that
you know, want to be in the tournament, and at least.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Four or five six of them wanted to. This is
like this is on the real right, want to warn me, like, don't.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
Trust that guy Demos and don't trust Heal Piper.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
You can't trust them. And I'm like, what what do
you mean? Like like they just want.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
To know that, don't be in real Like they just
want to win those titles and they don't want to
They don't want to.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Do anything for you guys. Uh, you know, and.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
They don't want they don't want Demos to be a
part of it. Teal Fine for whatever reason, these other
guys don't want Damos to be a part of it, uh,
you know, claiming that and this is a little you
know that he's uh what's it called when you're a
little too uh uh a little too rough? Uh you
know you're a uh stiff, Yeah, very stiff.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Uh. This guy is dangerous. You know. I want me
to not put him on the bill.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
And I put something on I put something on my
social media about it because I'm like, well, man, you
know all these guys are saying, hey, Triple or watch
out for Demos and the Rowdy Club. He's there too, stiff. Uh,
you can't trust Heal Piper or Demos.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Like all this stuff is the stuff that guys are really.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
Saying to me, and I'm asking that, you know, I
was asking our listeners, do you think I should you know,
include them or not? Everyone pretty much is saying include him.
They don't care if he's stiff or not. They don't
care if he's you know, you know, uh, you know.
Speaker 4 (32:32):
How is it with wrestlers where they're like the pettiest
little bitches.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
I have not seen more dramatic people.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
And like I've gotten to know wrestlers now over the
last you know, so long been doing this show.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
They're petty little s talkers.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
Yeah, and they like hold grudges of things that happened
like a decade ago.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Yeah, he's not well, he's not liked it, and they
don't want him to be in this tournament.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Uh. And I've got to make a decision of.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Whether of these no name dorks was that it.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
There's five of them that said it.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Okay, well that's maybe not being petty.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
Then the five of them is say, hey, you can't
trust that guy. And they're saying you can't trust heal Piper. Now,
she's fantastic, she's been fantastic with us, But they're saying
that they want. They both want to win both they
both want the mw A titles, and they're gonna like
not ever do anything for us after that, and they'll
ruin our entire wrestling gimmick.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
I would actually like that, So I would.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
I put a lot of work into this.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
So like you know, my a man that likes to
watch it all burn it down. So if it's the
daughter of Roddy Rowdy Piper that makes this all come
to an end, nothing would make me happy. Well, uh,
I have, I have case Rick Flair's cousin.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
So everybody that I've worked this out, now, everybody that
wins in winter Haven will all advance to Earthday Birthday.
Like so so everybody that wins is going to advance
Earthday Birthday. So when I said that, that's when I
had a lot more because now that the word got
out with the wrestlers and they all want that, they
(34:05):
all want that kind of attention. I mean, this is
a you know, you have hundreds of there'll be thousands
of people at Earthday Birthday, not hundreds of thousands, thousands
of people on Earthday Birthday, So for them to get
that opportunity is a big deal. So I got a
lot of guys clamoring to want to be on the
bill in UH in winter Haven, and I've got to
weed out who is going to be on the bill
and who is not gonna be uh and and the
(34:27):
one person everyone is saying, don't let him be a
part of it as they're saying don't let Demos be
a part of it because he's super stiff, and I
think they're like, he's gonna kick hard.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
The vibe that I got from him when he was
in here, it was like he don't.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
Play yeah like that, Like I don't know the vibe.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
The vibe was a little bit more intense with that guy.
You know when we had when we had a you know,
Papa ded here. Yeah, yeah, when we had Max Danger
yeah here, they were great. The vibe was good. When
Damos came in, maybe just because he's such a large,
imposing dude with like a resting bitch face.
Speaker 1 (35:05):
Yeah, I was like, oh, we can't. I can't throw
jokes at this guy.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
So do I include that guy? Even though all the
other wrestlers are saying adult just to make it just
to like you, I know how you are.
Speaker 2 (35:17):
Just listen to watch it all burn down.
Speaker 1 (35:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
I mean, what if it was one petty ass wrestler,
it'd be like, okay, but five is a lot. I
would actually and take that into consideration.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
And there and there's over twenty two guys I had
to talk to, and I gotta go through and pick the.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
Best ones that twenty two guys.
Speaker 3 (35:33):
That want to be a part of the because they
want to they want to be able to perform and
do the thing at Earthday Birthday. By the way, Earthday
Birthday is gonna be March twenty first, and whoever wins
in uh In in winter Haven will advance to a
title match at Earthday Birthday, which is very nice of
(35:53):
w j R R To let us be a part
of it and you know, be in front of thousands.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
It's a really really cool thing.
Speaker 1 (35:58):
Uh So, Ambernova loses, doesn't go to earth Day Birthday.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
If Ambernova loses, she does not go to earth Day Birthday.
J C. Love will go.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
And if Teal Piper is beat by Island Girl Tracy Taylor.
By the way, Island Girl Tracy Taylor is in the
world of women's professional wrestling is a big deal. She's
on Wile Wrestling like every Saturday. She's on national television
every week.
Speaker 1 (36:20):
He uh, you know what.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
I tried to schedule her, and she's such a big star.
I can only get her to like zoom in a
couple of days before the match.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Oh I don't want that.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
Well now, well we'll zoom her in because she's a
big deal for people her into that kind of you
know who are into that wrestling. But like, uh, there
are people that say Teal Piper doesn't deserve to be
in the ring with Tracy Taylor. So we'll see. I mean,
I don't know, uh, you know, uh, but what what
what if what if Teal Piper and her husband both
(36:51):
had MW our title?
Speaker 2 (36:54):
You know, our titles?
Speaker 1 (36:54):
I don't like that. I can't tell you why I
don't like that, but I don't like that.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
See that's that's so should we not?
Speaker 4 (37:02):
I I don't know. I mean, can we get demos
in here as a solo interview? Because last time, I
mean it was very he was he didn't talk much,
but he didn't talk much.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
I really don't know his vibe.
Speaker 4 (37:11):
Where the other guys have gotten to come in and
at least at least the you know, money money boy. Uh,
he's a child of my brain. I don't know, he's
a basement dwelling, uh trust fund baby.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
The trust fund guy yet but at least he came in.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
He had a personality and it was it was.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Blake Banks, Blake Banks, the trust fund kid.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
And my brain's still better than Demos because Demos didn't
actually talk that much.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
See, I don't know, I don't know what Demos is.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
Like I've already said Papa D I definitely want on
the bill and uh and of Blake Banks, definitely. I
haven't decided anyone else yet. And and all these other
guys are saying, don't include Demos because uh, he's he's
a problem. He's a you know, the the rowdy club
is here. They they take it really serious. I'm like, well,
that's kind of what I want.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
I kind of kind of like that. So anyway, that's
a little bit of the drama I had to deal
with this weekend. Just say, you know, at.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
Five is a light like, Okay, you've been in you've
been in tumultuous relationships, right, yeah, and when you when
you start dating somebody, if one person comes over, it's like.
