All right? Let's start okay, let's start here.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Our last time Orlando Pride was against the Houston Orlando
Pride played was versus the Houston Dash. That was Friday,
October the third. That was a one one draw. Their
next match is going to be versus the Portland Thorns.
That's this Friday, October the tenth, at eight pm Orlando
City as they're getting ready for the playoffs. So we've
got just two matches left. They tied with Columbus one

(02:05):
one here at Enteringco Stadium. Well, ain't no magic. Preseason
versus the Miami Heat is San Juan, Puerto Rico and
they win one one.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Eighteen was what was the crowd like it was it
was Jim Park.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
They love their basketball in pr we have we have,
they have their own professional basketball league there. There's been
a handful of guys that played in the NBA that
have played in that league.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
And so yeah, us.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
And our very own Angel Rivera played in that league.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yes, I did, just for a few years. Yeah, a
long time ago. That's so. What's awesome about this is that,
like during preseason is where you got you kind of
get to see your your bench guys kind of step
up and that's who gets the majority of the time.
So it's good to see some of these guys playing
very very well. So again, it's preseason still, but it's
a good again. You like to see them, uh looking

(02:55):
this well, the next game is gonna be Friday, October
the tenth versus the seventy six ers w NBA action
going on. Aces are they're dominating this final so far.
They leave the series two to zero. Their last or
the last night they played versus the Mercury, they win
ninety one to seventy eight.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
They weren't even cool about it.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Yeah, yeah, they're just overpowering right now. Next game is
gonna be Wednesday, October the eighth, at eight PM, as
well as the best out.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Of seven, oh others five no out of seven the
final seven. Okay, so yeah, we'll see how that goes.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
We got Major League Baseball playoffs happening right now.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
That's right, and.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Uh man, uh, if you're a Yankees fan, all you
got to look at is our host of the show
why your.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Team is in the toles that they're in now.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I have not wore my Yankees until today. And I'm
telling you right now, right if you want to win
all that money you lost this weekend, bet two thousand
dollars on the next game of the Yankees. I'm gonna
wearing my Yankee hat today. I'm wearing my Yankee hat tomorrow.
You verbalized it on a win.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
You verbalized it. You verbalized it on Friday.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I didn't wear my hat until today.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
It doesn't matter. It's not about a hat.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
It's about you verbalizing a team that you're supporting, and
then that you do, you transfer the curse to that.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
You bet two thousand dollars on the Yankees, They're gonna
win the next game.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
You'll be in, You'll be in light Flynn.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I'm telling you I got I'm wearing my hair my Yankees.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Hat today and we got people in our chat.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, they's the people people don't know Yankee fans.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
You tell us people don't Yeah, what are you?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
I'm wearing my hat today and tomorrow to give the
positive juice and watch when they win. You're like, oh
my god, that Russ has Russ's the one that put
them over.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
Shout out to Craig Ryan on our YouTube chat. He said,
why is Russ wearing a Yankee hat? That makes sense?
Why Toronto beat us so bad? Please take it off.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I didn't wear it until today.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Now now I'm wearing it tomorrow and the good luck
he's gonna go to the Yankees and the Yankee is
gonna win tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
It's saved money it anyway, And you set it on Friday.
The only reason you did wear the Yankee hat off
Friday is because you forgot.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
That's it. You said that I was.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Actually because it didn't at what the colors.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I had on, right, Well, that's you even being more
honest today.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
So yeah, the Yeah, the Blue Jays were just Toompson
dominating over the Yankees.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
First game, they beat them ten to one.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
And we can't. Yesterday team beat us.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Come on yesterday they beat them thirteen to seven. See
Mariners won versus the Tigers yesterday three to two. What
we have games that we have going on today, it's
gonna be Dodgers and Phillies. Dodgers leave that series one
zero and Cubs.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
All right, if you want, if you won't bet, if
you won't bet the real thing, won't you just bet me?
Bet me you won't bet me? What the twenty bucks
on the Yankees tomorrow? Sold twenty bucks.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
I'm taking the Blue Jays.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
You have the Blue Jays.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I'm sold, gotcha, all right?

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Twenty spy they play again on they don't play, Yeah,
they play again tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Marris, I'm wearing my hat today. I'm wearing it tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I'm gonna be gave the Yankees luck and watch you're
gonna lose twenty dollars.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
I want my money. I want my cash money tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yankee fans, how y'all feel about that? Let us know.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Hit us on real mobile seven seven zero, three to one.
We'll see how that goes, all right? Now? What like
Ryan said, this was one of the more bizarre or
just ridiculous NFL weekends in regards to wins and losses,
it was my god, it was just all over the
place place. But we started off on Thursday four. Down
Ers beat the Rams twenty six to twenty three. First

(06:18):
game of the day was Vikings over the Browns twenty
one to seventeen. Cowboys beat the Jets, who are oh
for still thirty seven to twenty two.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, the Jets are the only team that have not
won a game. It's part for the course.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Right in a game that like, really okay again, I
know you guys love your rookie quarterback, but he had
a couple of turnovers. It seemed that game that was
definitely winnable. But the Saints beat the Giants twenty six
to fourteen.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Yeah that's that dark kid, right, Yeah yeah, Jackson Dart.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
I like him. But yeah they lost.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Colts just whooped up on the Raiders forty to six.
They weren't even cool about that forty Yeah, Colts are
just their on one right now.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Dolphins let one slip away. Believe they lost that game.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
To be honest with the Dolphins, who were ahead seventeen
to nothing, and I was like, you know what, I'll
go watch a movie with my wife, you know, because
they're they're in they lead, no big deal, and next
thing you know, they just start stinking it up. Their
defense is just not both of both the teams have
bad defense, to be honest with you, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's not like it's not like the Carolina Panthers are superstars.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
No, we had Broncos. This is one of the good games.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Broncos give the Eagles their first defeat of the season
twenty one to seventeen. Uh, Texas and Ravens and Texans
just beat up on the Ravens without Lamar Jackson four
to four to ten.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
You know, at the beginning of the year, you thought
that the Ravens were gonna beat make another run for
the Super Bowls.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Now they're one and four.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Yeah, they're just decimated by injuries though.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Stinky as the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Yeah, they're they're they're crushed by that.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Je Jets are Titans.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Titans a squeeze one out versus the Cardinals twenty two
to twenty one. What I thought was probably the most
entertaining game of the day was the Bucketing versus the Seahawks.
Buccaneers get that field goal at the end there and
they win thirty.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Eight to thirty five.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
That was a good game.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Lions versus Bengals again, thirty seven to twenty four. The
Commodore's whip up on the Chargers twenty seven to ten.
Late game last time again there was another highly entertaining game.
Patriots beat the Bills twenty three to twenty and then
we got Monday Night football tonight, the Chiefs versus the Jaguar.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Best college team in the state of Florida, University of Miami,
will you University of Miami. Yeah, they went up there
and handled FSUO. They handled FSU. Gators won, right, Gators
didn't win?

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Oh yeah, yeah. They beat the Texas.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
They beat Taxings, which that was you know, that was
a pretty good game. Actually, boy, if that port Manning kid,
like you know, Arch Manning, they put a lot of
pressure on him to try to, you know, be like
his great grandfather and be like his grandfather and be
like his dad, and he's stinking it up.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
Uc F looked like they were going to actually beat
Kansas for a minute too.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
They did lose bet on that game. And I was
i because you.

Speaker 6 (09:07):
Said it was winning like the first two quarters, and
I'm like damn it.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
It's not fun to bet on your team. It's definitely
not or to bet against them.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
So you bet against your team.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Yeah, because that's the smart bet, but you lost. No,
I won because I bet on the Jayhawks to win.
But when you say it was winning the first two quarters,
it's the most conflicted experience I have.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
I was never doing it again. But you bet against
the Patriots, I bet, I bet on the Bills.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
You bet on the Bills, which was the smart bet, really,
but the Patriots somehow turned it on.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I don't know how that happened.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Yep, because they I mean, because I mean the Bills
looked like they were like just on their way.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
There was a tight game, dude, I mean there was.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Again, it was low scoring, and they, I mean they
were the Patriots were in there. They weren't bullied around
by them, so they can I mean because again Patriots
win by a field goal twenty three.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah it's close, y Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
So tonight Jacksonville is I mean, uh, Kansas City is
in Jacksonville, right, I think, yeah, they're in Jacksonville. You
think Old EverBank Stadium is old Swifty gonna be there.
You think she following, She's promoting the album. Man, she's busy,
so she she don't have time to go to a
Jacksonville game.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Not now, okay, you know, and like like we were
talking about, just to wrap up that loop we were
talking about when we did the ones and twosday like
nine o'clock on Friday. By the end of Friday, she
had the number one album, number one single.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Not only that, it was number one by far, and
it had more more downloads than anything in history.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
Yeah, they're just you know, the the swifties are older
now and they wake up later.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
In the morning. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, it's still going to hang over.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
We got some NASCAR news.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
The Final eight Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blainey, Kyle Larson, William Byron,
Christopher Bell, Chase Elliott, Chase Brisco and Jelley Logano advanced
to the semi final round of the NASCAR Playoffs following
Sunday's road Course race in Charlotte and one of the
bizarre stories that happened to the weekend and even had
to change a broadcast of one of the games. Former

(11:04):
Jets QB and current Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez was
stabbed on Saturday, Indianapolis, then arrested at the hospital for
allegedly and drunkly starting a confrontation by attacking his sixty
nine year old truck driver.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Yeah, he's thirty eight, and he gets into a fight
with a like a seventy year old man, and the
seventy year old man like, this guy's gonna kill me,
so he pulls out his knife and stabs him a
couple of times. But Mark Sanchez doesn't even remember the fight.
All he says, all her members is reaching for a window,
like he doesn't remember. He was drunk, drunk, He was
way the hell drunk. When you don't remember anything, He didn't.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
Remember anything stabbed, Yeah, you're probably pretty drunk.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
He don't remember being stabbed.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
He don't remember the altercation with theirs video of it,
and I guess he throws this seven sixty six, sixty
nine seventy year old man down, and the guy felt
like he had to, you know, to protect him, protect himself,
so he pulls out a knife because you know, Mark Sanchez,
this guy, you know, was a NFL quarterback in good shape.
He's a lot younger than than him, so obviously the

(12:04):
older dude was scared.

Speaker 6 (12:07):
And then one of the charges he got hit with
was like breaking It was like something along the lines
of breaking into an automobile. Sec the second you try
to come into my car, it's on for whatever.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
So so his car was outside of a bar, back
in an alleyway, right, is that the situation.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
It's like over parking or something.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
And the truck the guy, the old man was driving
a truck and the truck was in the way or something,
so he was trying to tell him get out of
the way, and then he throws the old man down.
And imagine that you're in the hospital. You don't remember
anything because you're way drunk, and they and you wake
up in the hospital and then they and then they
put handcuffs on you.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Like I would tell that dude, bro, you better get
your blood checked and everything, just to see if, by
chance that someone spiked your drink or something, you know, because.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
It is odd that he doesn't remember anything, or maybe
he's just.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Saying that or yeah, there's that, Yeah he could he
could be doing that.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
All right to more big dumb fun than me.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Come back.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
You're listening to the mantra in the morning, and you
can make your scarecrow this week.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
I'm gonna drop mine off in Mount Dora.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
I think Wednesday. I was supposed to go Tuesday. I
can't do a Tuesday. Wednesday. I'm gonna go see our
buddy Chris Carson in a Mounta door and drop off
the scarecrow I made for us for the monsters. Got
a monster shirt on. It's about six foot tall. Looks
pretty good.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
It's heavy. It's pretty heavy.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
But I saw the video you were talking about Angel,
that guy that made a scarecrow with his son.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
And that was really really good.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
A lot of people have done it at you just
pay your you donate fifty dollars with the car like
k cancer screening fund. It's, you know, a fundraising event,
but it really is a fun thing to do for
Mount Dora. And they've got a big fall Harvest festival
that's coming up and you can take it like a
take a you know, a drive around this you know,
the downtown area, and they have the parade of scarecrows.

(13:57):
You can vote on your favorite scarecrow. They're also going
to have drone display that night on the eighteenth. They're
gonna have a band called cat Ridgeway is going to
be performing a bunch of fun family stuff and it's
all a part of that. I'll be out there with
my Triple R blended whiskey if you want to pick
up a bottle of that. For the holidays, I'll be
signing bottles. It'll probably be the last chance you'll have

(14:17):
to get that with me to sign it if you
want that.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
So that's gonna be on the eighteenth.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
But make your scarecrow this week and drop it off
in Mount Dora. And for more information you go to
Real Radio Monsters dot com.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
That's Real radiomasters dot com.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Going back to this we talked about at the end
of the segment with the Mark Sanchez thing, it's a
it is a big story, major news. You know this
guy former he was a jen right. Yeah, it says
for the butt fumble.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Now what was that?

Speaker 1 (14:44):
It says it here and I don't really remember the
butt fumble.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
What was the butt fumble?

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Well, basically was jetson to play and he ran into
his own player and fumbled the football.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Okay, his own center.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Yeah, I think I do remember that, Okay, yeah, So
but now he is an analyst for Fox Fox Sports, yes,
and he was in Indianapolis for for the Colts Raiders
game on Fox Sports, and I guess, you know, a
couple of nights before he goes out and gets pretty drunk.

(15:17):
You gotta be really drunk if you don't remember any
part of it. And it says here that the man
that he got into an argument with, which was a
sixty nine year old man, he's thirty eight year old
former athlete, so you know he's in pretty good shape.
This guy's a like sixty nine year old man, gets
into an argument and the older man hits him with
pepper spray. But pepper spray doesn't do anything to Mark Sanchez.

(15:39):
It didn't stop him. So the guy pulled out a
knife and stabbed Mark Sanchez like several.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Times times, multiple times.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
So now that he's been arrested, do you think Fox
Sports will drop him from the from being an analyst.

Speaker 6 (15:56):
I don't know how he got this dude continue to
have a career after, Like even because the butt fumble
was like a pretty big moment in sports, but like that.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Because it happened on Thanksgiving Day, that was the thing.
It happens on a day where everybody's off that it
becomes the thing that that's what goes with it.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
But that's what the biggest thing that that dude is
remembered for. It is seriously that so get I'm sure they're.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Like, let's get another guy in here. Let'll be fine.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Yeah, I'm sure there's a lot of other quarterbacks that
you can get in. It was he was he good
at me because I don't remember him as far as he.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Was all right man, he was you know, not he
did he was adequate, right, It's not that he was.
He wasn't like the Tony romo of it when he
got into the booth. So yeah, I mean he did
his thing. He could probably gets the gig because of
his college and uh professional uh uh, you know, fame whatever.
And you know, as time has gone on, he got

(16:51):
you know, he would get a little bit better every season.
But yeah, I'm sure they've got like a what's that
called not a morality clause, but something to that effect.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
I'm sure. Yeah, so this is a bad look for him.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, And they mentioned it on Fox Sports. You know,
they said, listen, you know, we still haven't wrapped our
heads around it. They didn't have a definitive statement. They
just say, hey, you know.

Speaker 6 (17:12):
They're like, our thoughts go out to Mark and his
family was like, what they said too, and it's like
he attacked an old.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
I think what was happening, though they didn't have all
the details even at the time of the broadcast that
he got pulled off of all we know what it
initially broke is what as the story developed. What initially
broke was that Mark Sanchez was in an altercation and
that he had been stabbed, and we didn't know all
these other details, so we assume, oh.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Poor Mark, he got stabbed by somebody and down and
then it turned out, oh, he was beating up an
old man, and the old man was defending himself and hit.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Him with pepper spray.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Pepper spray didn't work, so he had to revert to
a knife.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Like I said, And a couple of people texted and
kind of saying the same thing. If I was that dude,
I would have them do blood work on me. I
would have them drug test me. I would have them
try to, you know, see if there's because if if
this doesn't, this is out of character for the guy.
From what we can tell, he doesn't have a history
of this for we we can what we can tell,
he's never been in trouble or arrested before. As far
as we know, right, all these things are going to

(18:10):
be first for this particular guy.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
So if they could prove that, hey listen, he had
something that his you know, he had something that's blooterating
that's not normal or whatever, somebody spiked this drake.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Yeah, again, it doesn't it doesn't negate everything, but it
does help kind of explain the situation.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
You know, if if that were the case, then we
would do you think that he would probably keep his job, Like, hey, listen,
was in his fault. Somebody spiked his drink and he
got super aggressive and try to beat up an old man.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
That's a hard one to explain.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
But why why are we trying to like make we
do this with.

Speaker 6 (18:44):
Certain people where we we get weird benefit of the
doubt and then like try to make up like these
situations that could happen with some people to explain what
goes on. Could be this guy's just a jerk and
he's drunk and they never caught up to him.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
One of the Ryan, You're one hundred percent we don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
You know, I don't know this guy at all.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
But like all all I'm saying is based off of
what we publicly know, and the things that we've seen
of him, the worst moments in his life happened on
the football field, not outside of it.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
I like to lean towards being positive about folks, you know,
I like to lean towards the positive.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
But it's positive. And then there's attacking a set almost
seventy year old man.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
That seems wrong.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, but maybe but maybe he was on drugs and
didn't know what he was doing.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
That's not an excuse in my world.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Well no, that's the other part.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Right. Let's say he is abusing drugs and this and
he got caught out there, then this could be the
vehicle that you know, gets them to get some help.
Not necessarily that it puts him back on TV. But
I you know, that.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Could be as simple as he got drunk and beat
up an old man, which is bad, Which is bad,
and which is probably more likely this whole scenario of
somebody spiked his drake and you know, he didn't know
what he was doing.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
I mean, but you gotta leave, you gotta you gotta
leave a possibility for anything.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
You know, I don't if you're an attack to the
old men and you're you're a very it's still very
in shape, uh former quarterback that I'm not giving you
the benefit of the doubt.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
You're probably just an ask.

Speaker 6 (20:08):
Lots of people get through life being assholes and and
do bad things and it never catches up to them.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
I like to get all it takes that.

Speaker 6 (20:14):
One time for finally do it. Yeah, maybe it'll turn
his life around, he'll be a better person.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
But like, don't go attacking old men. Don't. Don't do
that when you're drunk.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
What if you're wrong?

Speaker 1 (20:23):
What if there's somebody that was in the bar and
they hated the Jets and they were a Patriots fan,
and the.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Spike old Mark sand We're gonna throw some I don't
know what would make you mean like that? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:33):
But but what drug?

Speaker 1 (20:35):
What drug could you throw in someone's drink and make
you mean and want to beat up an old man?

Speaker 5 (20:39):
I don't know, it's not he.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Tried to love on him.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
If it was actually maybe that was the problem.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
Maybe yeah, well yeah, what would what?

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Lolcohol? It's alcohol. Alcohol makes you mad.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
So we can't spike alcohol.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
It's just alcohol.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
You could spy.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
I mean, like, I don't think anybody's roofing Mark Sanchez.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
If that's what we're going with that's.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
What that's we're trying to give him better Why because.

Speaker 6 (21:01):
He's an ass who trying to find old man who
got stabbed by old man with man straight.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
He doesn't have a reputation of being an ass until now.
So that's why Angels saying it could be Bill Cosby.

Speaker 5 (21:13):
Was a nice guy until we got found out.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Russ, this is a good point.

Speaker 6 (21:16):
I don't know what to tell you, Like some people
just get found out, some people don't.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
I like to give benefit of the doubt until there
is no doubt. What's happened? What's happening with the old
uh uh monster Hall of Fame guy? Uh that we
took off the wall? What happened with him? Do we
know what's going with him? Oh?

Speaker 5 (21:33):
I don't think there's many updates.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
What's his name?

Speaker 5 (21:35):
I think he bailed out John?

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Yeah, so he is he admitted to it or is
he saying saying he didn't do it?

Speaker 5 (21:42):
Or imagine gonna go to trial, but it's gonna take
a while. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I would like to give him benefit of the doubt,
but I don't think. I don't think. I don't think
we can't his his plaque is still it all.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
It's still in here, and I know it's in here
because I put something in there today that's a little embarrassing.
And I'm I ask your guys, what do you think
I should do? I think I just so remember how
I said that, you know, I felt, you know the
Teal Piper.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
No, no, no, Teal Piper.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
You know she's got that belt and the same belt
that Ambernova had, and it's a big belt. It's actually
a guy's belt, so it's big when they when they
have it in here, right, So I ordered another belt
that I thought, you know, they have one that will
fit them right when we'll go around and when they
could wear. And so when I went I looked and
I designed the whole thing and everything, and it said,
you know, women's belt. Let me show you what they

(22:31):
sent me. I think I think it's I think.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
It's a little too small. Is this a kid's beat?
Is that too small?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
My god?

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Embarrassing? You bought a toy?

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Would that even fit around?

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Is that metal or is that plastic?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
No? That's metal. No, that's I think that's the I
think that's the right one. Dude, Well, you think this
would fit around Teal Piper.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
It'll fit around Amber.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
It will.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
I don't know if it'll fit around Teal.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
That it's a lot smaller than the other one's like
for children.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
But that's the whole point of it, Russ, because.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
It's got to fit around it. But but look if okay,
if I that's the okay, right there is where it goes.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
Will that fit around Teal Piper?

Speaker 5 (23:13):
You think no, I'm gonna go no, you think no.
I think it's too small?

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Damn it.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Man.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
It came in and when I open it up, I'm like,
oh my god, that looks like a kid's belt, but
it's smaller.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
Damn you put a kid's belt in with a picture
of John Reep.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
That's messed up.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
That's a good.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Point that way. So so I don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
It looks it looks too small, but maybe i'm looking
at because I'm compared it to the other belt that.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Looks very very small.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
It does, doesn't it.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
But this is the only they had men's belt and
women's belt, and this is the women's belt.

Speaker 5 (23:52):
I don't know. Teal will be here tomorrow, right.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
I don't know. I haven't invited it for tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
Oh, okay, well it looks small. I don't know, but
these ladies are small. Amber could fit in that for sure.
Amber's very tiny, that's true. Yeah, but Teal's a muscle mommy.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
I don't know a muscle mommy.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
Hell yeah, well anyway, yeah, so I was told to
stop saying that on air.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Were you really?

Speaker 3 (24:14):
My wife is mad at.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Me, why because you said you wanted her to be
a muscle mommy.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
So, And then my wife's like, is that what this
whole thing has been about, to go into the gym
and whatnot. I'm like, no, your.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
I don't know, man, Like, I'm sorry, it's a thing
that I.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Have, uh like muscular women.

Speaker 6 (24:33):
Something hot about it, especially like old like older ladies,
like we're talking like in their like fifties or sixties,
and they got like arms something hot about that.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Back in the day, they would have said that sounds gay.
But whatever, he's up to you. It's like fit older
ladies hot. Yeah, oh yeah, who's the hottest fittest older
lady you can think of?

Speaker 5 (24:52):
I don't know. I just see them out. They're always
getting brunch, you know what I mean. And I'm walking
around winter Park. I see them and I'm like, what
arms Hell, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Those are the ladies in winter Park and they basically
work out every day.

Speaker 6 (25:04):
That's all they do is just work out and yoga
and and and just brunch.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
It seems like a great lifestyle.

Speaker 6 (25:09):
Yeah, but yes, but when I see Tea, like, my
wife will never get to wear like Teal Piper's at
for sure, It's just impossible.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
She's just a tinier lady.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
I don't think this will. I don't think this will
fit around Teal Piper will. And I'm not She's in
great shape. I'm not saying she's out of shape. I'm
just saying she's she's a you know, muscular girl lady.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
I don't know, is there like when you're ordering these things,
is there a size up from that or is it
just women's And it.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Says men and women And this is the one that
came in for women, And when I open it up,
I was like, man, this seems really small.

Speaker 3 (25:41):
What women could really fit into that?

Speaker 4 (25:43):
But isn't it like well, I mean, and you tell me,
but isn't it more about them being able to carry
it on their shoulder?

Speaker 5 (25:48):
That looks like they want to wear it.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (25:51):
But I think they want to wear it. But maybe
I'm looking at it through the eyes of a dude.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
It's just so tiny compared to the other one, the
other one.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
So that that's what we're doing. We're comparing it to
the other one.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
This is just this is the size that they want
that fits around them.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
I don't know it in here.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
I thought you were going to do the plaid thing.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
No, No, I don't really order the pink I just
want to say I just want to have a conniption
that I was even thinking about it, trying to get an.

Speaker 4 (26:20):
Emotion out of it, asked them for their advice, and
you just went ahead and still order the pink belt.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
I had already ordered it. I was just trying to
get some emotion out of her.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
It's a thing I like to do, get her, to
get her to freak out a little bit. It's fun.
But yeah, I ordered the pink one. But but this one,
I think it might be too small. I don't know.
I'm not you know what, I won't tell Teal Piper
that it's in and I'll invite her in and say, hey,
let's see if this fits around you.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
All right, But I'm with Angel. I always thought the
thing was like they carry the belt. I've never seen
the wrestlers like where the.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Belt often Yeah, yeah they do.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
I mean, I'm sure like for photographs, but usually it's
like when they're doing the and stuff like that, they
have it her on their shoulder.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Because you noticed that when Teal comes in, the one
that she has is so big that she can't keep
it up there because it's a dude's belt.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Yeah, but it looks cool.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Somebody should have liked this one. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (27:11):
I don't know these ladies. They hate your design, they
hate the sizes that you get. I'd say, I say,
get it, get it, let's get a new champion stuff.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
I listen, So any any woman in any restlant organization
can challenge Teal.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
Piper belt situations any time.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Anyone who wants a challenger can can challenge her, and
uh and and you know they gotta they gotta beat her.
And then you know, they don't have to make another
belt in another color. It's somebody else's leotards. It is
sort of ridiculous. Hey, hey, listen, if you want to

Speaker 1 (28:34):
To check it out at real radiomonsters dot com. I'm
Russ Rollins along with Angel and Ryan. So I've said
this many times before and it is always hit and
a miss, but I'm still a big fan of Saturday
Night Live because you know, it's it's hard to pull
that off. It's hard to pull off funny it's hard
to pull off good skits and good jokes. And I'm like, man,

(28:57):
this is gonna be great. They've had all summer, you know,
all kinds of crazy things have happened. You know, Saturday
Night Live they go right at political jokes. Uh, you know,
they do it all the time. That's what they do.
Oh black and not Wait. And then of course Bad
Bunny was the host, and with him being in the
news last week with the super Bowl and all that controversy,
you know this all this is gonna be this is

(29:18):
gonna be awesome.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
It was not.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
It was It was not an awesome episode of Saturday
Night Live.

Speaker 6 (29:25):
Theydn't come out of this, didn't come out of the
gates with a banger.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
As boy.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
I was very very disappointed.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
I was like, man, I thought, you guys disappointed box
and this is a tale of two different America.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Funny, it wasn't funny.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
They didn't really go at at you know, all the
different things going on with Trump or whatever.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
They didn't really handle.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
They didn't talk about Jimmy Kimmel stuff that that much.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
They didn't go that much stuff.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
And I thought Bad Bunny, though, I want to pull
for him before a bunch of different reasons. Uh, the
fact that he the way he talks is so slow
that I can it's uncomfortable to listen to him talk
for a long periods of time. I didn't think his
skits were funny, so I just didn't find it.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
You thought it was funny, Yeah, he crushed it.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
And it's again I go to It's the Tale of
two different Americas. For the skit that they did with
a Chado, that's a huge the skit that they did
where they dressed up as the kids show.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
It was the very last Oh, that was terrible.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
What the hell was that?

Speaker 3 (30:24):
That's based on a real show. That's a real show.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
I know that that show exists.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Yeah, and that.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
Show used to pull in Or has had three point
five million viewers an episode. It's one of the most
popular shows in all of the world outside of the
United States of America. And so that was almost like
an omas Or tribute. And I thought they absolutely nailed it.
And Ryan is right, if you're not familiar with that show,
you've never seen that show, you don't know the context

(30:48):
of that show. That's going to fall deaf that like
it did.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Sat there staring like, well, this is not funny at all.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
It was a pretty good because I've seen that show
before in various other things, just like it's on the
read it and whatnot, and it was a pretty good
adaptation of that. But my wife had never even heard
of it, and she was so confused why all that
was happening.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
And it's I guess, like I said, it's an example
of you know, it's a two different worlds that we
live in the sense of that if you were to
be on any of the social media platforms and where
you know, there's a Latin and Hispanic contributions to it
and everything. Everybody was really happy and thrilled with his performance.
Everyone thought, you know that he did fantastic and he
did fine. I thought the episode overall was weak writing.

(31:31):
They seemed to recycle the same like four cast members.
I think they don't have a lot of confidence in
their new people because it was the same four people
in almost every skin. With Sarah Sherman, it was Mikey
Day and the little blonde one.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Yeah, they really pretty blonde lady, and they were it
was like we were they the only ones that will
work with that bunny. I didn't understand why they were
the only ones that did skits. Yeah, and when he
read the lines, that was very slow. And I know
he has I guess he doesn't speak fluent English or whatever,
so so you know he was struggling with that, which made.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
It hard to watch.

Speaker 3 (32:06):
I just I just did.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
I was like, man, I was hoping for a much
better Yeah.

Speaker 6 (32:10):
I think, like, like I said this last week, it's
not that SNL is unfunny to me, it's that they
stopped being edgy and taking on like, uh, taking on
topics with the vigor and the venom that they used
to do. I thought they're the opening sketch this with
its Pete Haig Seth.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
I was like, they're not. Maybe they're afraid of the FCC,
just like all the other.

Speaker 6 (32:30):
Networks are right now, and they don't want to go
hard in the paint one.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
Way or the other.

Speaker 6 (32:34):
But I've always viewed Saturdaynight Live as like kind of
you know, alt comedy.

Speaker 5 (32:39):
It's supposed it's supposed to be edgy, you're supposed to.

Speaker 6 (32:41):
Speak the truth to power in kind of a way,
and they're just not doing it right now.

Speaker 5 (32:46):
At least its first episode is not great.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
And my boy camp Patterson, I feel like they utilize
him in a very stupid way.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
So that you tald and I didn't you said you
mentioned him before. I didn't remember. You said a guy
from Central Florida was gonna be on Saturday Night Live,
and and all he wanted, like the whole skit was,
I want to say the N word.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
I didn't find that funny either.

Speaker 6 (33:04):
Well, with that, you have to like you got there
existing knowledge camp Handerson exists and that he was on
Kill Tony and that like he does say the N
word quite a bit, and that was the controversy online.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
I had no idea.

Speaker 6 (33:16):
He's kind of in a rock between a rock and
a hard place, because the fans of Kill Tony don't like,
really didn't want to see him go to Saturday Live
where he's going to be a watered down version of
whatever he does. And then people who aren't Killed Tony
fans see this guy who's gonna come with the history
of saying like a lot of controversial things and be like,
why is he on here? So I don't know an

(33:38):
interesting move. I just I think Cam's very funny. I
just thought that sketch they did on.

Speaker 5 (33:42):
Weekend Update really didn't didn't.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
You know what I did see though, angel I saw
this yesterday and and a good thing about Bad Bunny
being put on the Super Bowl as all these different
people that just had no idea that because I saw
the like interviewers going, well, why would they put someone
who's not an America and singing the national I'm singing
it right.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
There was a right winging girl that I forget her name,
the blonde headed to check who she she just got
eight up on her podcast, and then they.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Were like, hey, if you're if born in Puerto Rico,
you're an American citizen.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I think a lot of people didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
I mean, there are so many and I think it's
bringing that to light, which you inc you could say,
is a good thing.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
If you're an average dude in Mississippi, you don't know
Puerto Rico is part of that.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
You had no idea.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
I had an average history teacher in Arkansas. I went
to Gosnell High School and he was a history teacher. Yeah,
this is god honest truth. He when he was like
when we were in class, in the middle of class,
in front of all the my other classmates and everything,
and he just was like looking at me and getting
a new student that we're talking about, like the senior
class at that school was probably one hundred kids. You know,

(34:52):
everybody knew everybody, everybody was in everybody's business. And he
was like, what are you? And I was like, I'm America,
and you know, it's like no, but where are you from?
I was born in California. And he's like, well, yeah,
but you know, uh, And what he's basically trying to
get is like, why are you brown?

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (35:04):
I know you're not white. I know you're not black.
And so I was like, well, my parents are from
Puerto Rico. Did not know what Puerto Rico was? Wowight
on Puerto Rico?

Speaker 3 (35:11):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (35:12):
I never never heard of it. That's a history teacher.
And then I explained it to him what it is.
Explain to it that we're a commonwealth, not familiar with
commonwealth's and not a familiar with the political status that
I was an American citizen.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Right.

Speaker 1 (35:23):
But I think I think that this what the good
thing this has done is is more than any time
in America, we are learning that, you know, people who
are you know, from Puerto Rico are American citizens.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
I think a lot of people didn't know that, you know,
so at least.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
And I don't indict the people themselves as a mad
as a point of contention. It's more like a reflective
of what people have been saying about the way that
we teach our American history. Yeah, and the and the
things that are conveniently left out.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
I didn't learn anything about Puerto Rico in school other
than Puerto Rico existence as part of the US.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
And think about it, literally zero history about it.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Well, when you're a.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
Kid that went to high school here in central Florida,
yeminant all in Florida, right, and one of the biggest uh,
you know groups that have come to Florida are Puerto Ricans, you.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Know, and so so you you you got Mexicans, you
got Puerto Ricans, you got Cubans. And out of those
three Puerto Ricans are American citizens, the other two not.
And that's the confusion a lot of people have, you know, Uh,
they didn't know. So I think that I think that's
a positive thing that is happening with the Super Bowl.
Thank I was hoping he was going to do better

(36:29):
though on Saturday Night Live. And I know you say that,
you know people that.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
You, like I said, it's a like I said, a
tale of different Americas and different points of view and everything.
But like I said, if you follow a lot of
the Latin stuff, that they really getting proper to remember
it's the second time being there.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
What did you think about the about the bit about
the uncle like, uh chat chbt and it's at your.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
Gbtuh yeah, I thought again, I thought that was clever.
Here's the thing when it comes to like how they
produce these shows and how quick or how much time
you have. You're right in the sense that it being
the season opener, the season premiere, you would think they
would have had a few weeks to do this.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
I don't think they did.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
I think they did they again did the pressure cooker
or of it of it all? Because how do you
underutilize cam like that? How do you underutilize all these
other guys in the sense of how long they're going.

Speaker 6 (37:22):
To be just like as just a big deal of
the new cast and all the people leaving to not
even like have some of those new cast members really
on at all?

Speaker 2 (37:30):
What is that share? Sarah Sherman what ch yeah?

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Yeah? And and one other guy, mikey Day, there's only
three that really we're participating.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Yeah, and in mar Marcello.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
It was like there's parts that were interestingly.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
At one point they had the girls the I think
the I think the k pop band is twice that
actually does the K Pop demon Hunters that they have.
They had them on there for like for like a bit,
for like a tiny joke. I thought that was pretty funny.
But then they sang that damn song that won't get
out of my head again, dad damn golden uh. And
I actually like that skit because I'm a person with

(38:08):
no kids who watched K Pop Demon Hunters and thought
it was a very good show.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
It's a good movie. Yeah, and that.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
May national news that those girls are on and they're
also going to be on Foulon I guess this week,
which is a sort of a big deal. Anyway, all right,
we take a little break, we'll come back. It's time
for Ryan to bring you the nerdy news. You're listening
to the max of the morning
