Uh that should be a lot of fun. All right,

(03:36):
So we'll take a little break. We come back, we'll

we return. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the match

(03:56):
of the morning. All right, Trivia time, So I see
everybody's on the line to play with trivia. Who do

(04:19):
we have first that wants to win one of those
incredible prizes? We got tickets to the Cure Ball, we
got the kiss, a live T shirt at the anniversary,
a live T shirt and fifty dollars to Hard Rock
Live and then also the Sea World tickets. Those are
great prizes.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
So russ I've had to incorporate a harder screening process,
a questionnaire that everyone has to pass.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Yeah, good, good, good.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
So the only person that's played trivia with you on
here was nine months ago.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Everyone else is new okay, good, all right, good, and
the guy from nine months live say, I've never done
it before. It could be a girl, well the lady
then you like, or could be a guy. Okay, you
don't know. We don't know, So we'll start like this.
H versus Raphael from winter Park. Hey Raphael, Hey, no money, Hey,

(05:13):
good one, Hey buddy, I got a trivia question for you.
If you get it right, you are the man. You
get the plug and promote whatever you want. You can
take whatever prize you want out of those three prizes.
Which one are you gunning for? I think the SeaWorld tickets.
SeaWorld tickets. Yeah, I figured that would be that would
be the answer. Okay, no problem, man, Well good luck.
If you don't get it, don't worry. You've got Angel
and you've got Ryan that can help you. We asked

(05:34):
you to try to answer it, you know, as quickly
as you can. We don't want you googling it. But
I don't think you can google this one because.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
I don't know who's walking right now.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Okay, yeah, I don't even know who the source is they?
I know they they talk to fifty Oh okay, it's
it's from Spotify. But whatever. Uh so Google, well you
can't google this. This is what they did? Is is they?
They figured out what are the best Christmas songs to
work out to because of their beats per minute. So
the number one song to work out too because of

(06:03):
beats per minut it is all you Know? All I
Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey. That well, okay,
there you go. That's why I figured that's the easy one, right.
I want to know what is in second place? It's
one hundred and forty nine beats permitt it. It's the
second most popular song to work out too. What do
you think that is?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Jingle bell rock?

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Jingle bell rock is dingle bell jingle bell rock? Hold on,
let's see if I got that one out on here.
Jingle bell It is not in the top ten. Who
do you want to help? Do you want Angel or
do you want Ryan?

Speaker 5 (06:40):
I want my man Angel.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I need those beats per mint it. Come on, buddy, Angel,
beats permitt it. Okay, So the number one song to
work out to, according to this poll is Mariah Carey
All I Want for Christmas is you. It's one hundred
and fifty beats per minute. The one that is in
second place is one hundred and forty nine beats permitted,
so it's really close. What do you think is the
second most popular song to work out too? I think it's.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Because well then, the cool thing about this song is
that they actually fire cannons off in it when it's
at its peak.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Oh man, what's that song? Hold on a second, if
I can find it real quick.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Ross, Oh, that's not the song then, And I.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Think it's called sleigh Ride. Slay ride, yeah bye, I
forget what orchestra, but it's like it's got like explosions
in it and everything, and it goes super fast. It's
an orchestral performance.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
It is that sleigh ride. I'm sorry, who we got that?
We got? Dallas Free Melbourne, Hey, Dallas? What's that, buddy,
hey man? Second most popular song to work out too?
That's a Christmas song. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.
Santa Claus Is Coming to Town is in eighth place.
That's one hundred and forty one beats perit it so

(08:00):
you're on board, but it's not not there. Right by
the Boston pops Ryan, you can help him out and
win it for him. It's the best song ever.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Okay, this is bogus, bogus list. Let's go.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
So you know as as that song. So it's okay.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
I just hear you singing somewhere rock dun dun dun
d dun dun dun dun dun dum.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Oh, you know what I didn't do. There's a key
question we should be asking him. You should be asking
for this hint. It's going to be dent.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Dn't give me an answer. What's the second one?

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Go bell jingle bell jingle, I'll go away.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
That's in third place. That's that's one hundred and forty
eight beats per minute. So you were close, but no, cigar.
Who do we got next? We've got Jen and the
A p K all right, Jen, A p K Yo Jen,
what do you think second most popular song to work
out to? It's one hundred and forty nine beats permitted.
Which one do you think it is?

Speaker 6 (09:06):
My reels have been flooded with Carlton dancing like the
holiday music, and I think it's a least do that
is correct?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
That is the itswer police Navidad is one forty nine
beats per minut it and that's the second best song
to work out too. That's a Christmas since my guy,
it's Hostephilusiano. Yeah yeah, ah yeah, we talked about it.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
I don't ever think of that song as being fast
at least, no, I mean it is, I just don't
think of it.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Yeah, that's a good We introduced that one on Friday night.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Yeah, that's a number three. It's a number three.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Uh what do you mean.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
I'm looking at the list. It's at number three. What
I'm looking at you?

Speaker 3 (09:47):
No, it's number two right here? Okay, yeah, you like
fact check me again?

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Yeah, I'm fact checking.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Wasn't a right there in second place? Felice not be done.
I wrote it wrong, one hundred and forty nine beats
per minute.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
I'm looking at the source that that's from, and they
wrote it wrong.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Well, congratulations, Jian, you are a winner. And uh what
would you What prize do you want to take with you?

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (10:13):
Probably the hard rock.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
That Oh good, yeah good. You'll get fifty dollars to
go to a hard rock cafe and a kiss a
Live t shirt that I'm hoping I'm going to get
one of those. Two and they look really cool. Cool cool.
So how long how long you have been listening to
the show?

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (10:31):
Many, many, many, many many years. Well, it's like just
just after the war, is that what it is?

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (10:37):
I think just after the war after all?

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Right? And what do you do for a living? Jin?

Speaker 6 (10:43):
I work at the theme park and I do like
I do gigwork like Uber, instacart.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Okay, that's very nice. And what would you like to
plug and promote and tell us about?

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Oh, while you're thinking about that, Jen, thinking about it,
have you noticed or has have you noticed like a
drop off in like those services, like with the Insta
cart and everything has demand for that kind of dropped off.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
It's it's wide open.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
It's busy all day long.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
I'm glad to hear that.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
Yeah, yeah, all of it, Uber and start all of it.

Speaker 6 (11:20):
Okay, door dashers, but I don't do that, but yeah, definitely.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Is there anything you wanted to promote or tell us about?

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Ah?

Speaker 6 (11:29):
I can't think about anything right now.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Okay, all right, Jen, have a great holiday. We're gonna
put you on hold and get to your prize. Okay,
take care, bye bye, cool cool someone winners. I We're
gonna uh oh the other song. Could you imagine working
out too? And here's the list? Is that all you
work Christmas music? Nobody? I think jingle Bells was in

(11:52):
third place. Rocking Around the Christmas Tree is in fourth
and then they got another jingle Bells with Michael Bublay
is in fifth place.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
I just can't imagine. Like it's so like, you're so
love Christmas. They're like, I gotta I gotta run to
jingle Bells.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
I know, well, because all right, so when you break
it down and they and they show you the categories
in it, like for example, jingle Bells is actually a
trance E d M remix of it that they're using
for this and so so it's a different take on it.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
So like if you already uh so, if you're already.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Working out to M music, but it's the holiday season
and they throw that song into your playlist, you're not
You're not gonna not work out, you know, right?

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Do you guys work out to music when you're throwing
on music?

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Let me remember the last time I worked out.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
I like it in the background, but I can't, like
I can't wear their headphones.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
The like way A new record tai Chi lasted three days.
That's it with it? What was that? What he just
ended up being?

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Board?

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Poor master?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Yeah, I have mushrooms to take the mushroom.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
I'm doing. Therefore, there we go.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Yeah, that's the conversation you had about.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
I promise you have recorded any of this.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
If you'd gone to a Taichi studio, you'd still be
doing it, you think, I one thousand percent I believe that.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
I don't think so. I don't think I would want
to get dressed and go out and you know, well
that okay, But all the things that you're talking.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
About rest things you have to wear a time.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Yeah, that's something different. Work out, it's in the name.
Everything that you.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
Just described is something different than actually like once you
get in there and you have the trainer and then
that gets you fired up and you start doing it.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
How many of these days holidays? Is our last week
before Christmas and all that kind of stuff, and that
there was a holiday question, So find out how many
of these things have you guys already done? Getting ready
for Christmas? Okay? Listening to Christmas holiday music, we all
we all have done that. We don't know that. Uh,
watching a holiday movie, if you guys watch a holiday movie,
not yet, not yet. I'm telling you YOURVRVY is great.

(14:01):
I'm that's not gonna be the one that, Oh you
should try it. You'll like, it's really good. It's got,
it's I'm totally it's got Doel and it's got you know, Daredevil,
and it's an adorable movie with the dogs and you
love dogs all the things. Right, not gonna be the
one my go to movie yet. Well, if you want

(14:22):
to watch a new one, that's a good new one.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
Uh us Adam Sandler movie that came out for Netflix,
The George Clooney and Adam Sandler.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Yeah, we talked about it on Friday. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's not a Christmas movie. But yeah, I watched it.
He had he had questions, what'd you think?

Speaker 5 (14:38):
Oh, I haven't seen it. I just waner it is
worth watching, like because.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
The whole thing on it, Oh, you weren't here, my
bad dude, Yeah, you weren't here right here.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
I was like, I know, I too know, but not that.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
No, no, no, no, no, that was.

Speaker 5 (14:52):
Kelly j Kelly.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
I loved it, but boy, it begs a lot of
questions for me personally for sure, Like all the time
I spent away you know, doing stuff to make this
show happen. I spent away from my kids, like it really,
it really hit me pretty hard.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
Did you while you're a mushroom tripping did you think
about that?

Speaker 3 (15:10):
You know what? That might have had a lot to
do with what was going on in my head? For sure.
You like things that you did in the past and
how they affect you, know, how you're going to end
up in.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Death And uh, now do you want to try Are
you at all interested in going to the Orlando Ayahuasca
church and trying that out?

Speaker 3 (15:25):
Probably not? No, not after what I went through that paradox.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Oh so at the was there every ever a time
that you were scared?

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (15:37):
Yeah, like scared, Yeah, like you're scared of.

Speaker 5 (15:41):
What, like scared of the way of like you were
scared that you thought you.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Were dying, or if you were scared that you were
out of control. I was out of control. And then
the fear that I would end up being like a
loon alone at the end, like there'd be nobody with me. Yeah,
you needed somebody to go on this ride with you,
and I was trying to manipulate it so it could
be merry. And it's at the end, you know, but
see that that's yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
So when you're doing all that kind of stuff and
you're starting to try to instead of holding on for
the ride, but you're trying to control the ride, that actually, uh.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Remember Angel, I didn't realize what was going on, and
I thought I just had cho my candy. No, I
understand what you're saying. What I'm saying to you is
that don't be so hesitant. Instead of you know, doing.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Three, do one and then maybe and now that you've
now that you're on the other side of it and
you kind of know what you can expect, I think
if you were ever to be inclined to revisit it
and did it, like I said, instead of going three
or four, go one or two.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
And here's the thing. The person that left these at
my house were like, these only work. There's still and
I'm like, okay, whatever, because I don't like gummies, I
don't like all that stuff. I'm like, oh, well, these
are just chocolates. But then they were shaped like a mushroom.
I should have known that. Yeah, it was usually a
dead good boy.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
I left a YouTube video recently and it was it
was like three Granny's take mushrooms. But they did it
at this facility in like Oregon, and then they uh,
they seen that one. They had a pretty intense experience
all around, but they but there there's like a staff
to like help you and kind of guide you through
the things.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
I had a wife who had two mushrooms going through
the same You guys battling at that time, are you
guys like, are you guys talking? Are you guys gyes?
We thought we were both dying together?

Speaker 5 (17:20):
What are the dogs doing at this point?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Oh? Oh my god. There was my point where one
of the dogs was lying to the dog and in
my mind I was going through this fast timeline and
I'm like, okay, so if I think the dog's alive,
he's dead. Oh the dog just died. Oh And I
started crying because the dog had died. And then I'm like, oh,
the dog's not dead. The paradox, like everything was the
reverse two seconds later it.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
Was Yeah, it was It's funny because like like Russ
is like, this is this is horrible, this is awful.
Run you would hate this, And I'm like, that's kind
of how it sounds in my head all the time.
Is it really like there's a lot of that going on,
which is very for a guy always say this to
people like you, I would I wouldn't wish on my
worst enemy to live in my head for a day.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
For me, it was loss of control of everything, and
anything I thought was normally gonna happen, the exact opposite happened,
and I'm not used to that. So then I was
trying to manipulate the situation because I thought people were
talking to me through the cartoon and they were giving
me clues of how to get through this so I
could end up where I wanted to be, And it
was always Homer Simpson talking to me. That is the

(18:21):
part that's.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Character.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Well I looked it up through the chat TBT thing
I was telling you about, and it said, my inner
voice is basically Homer Simpson because he's you know, non threatening,
and he deals he deals with things with humor and
like that's my that's my whatever you know, subconscious or whatever,
which makes sense. That's pretty much a la.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
Just happened to be on and it was on yeah,
because I'll be could you imagine if it would have
been John Wick?

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Well, you know what, when I went to sleep, you know,
it was on Mary Owen's Ghost shows, and I remember
the ghostly stuff happening too, so and then she turned
the channel and when she turned the channel, it was
on all night Simpsons.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
You didn't even think about recording any of them.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
I thought we had a chacuterie board with some wine
and I'm going to sleep early on a Friday night.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
This is amazing. Can we do this on air?

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Honestly? What did you do with the leftover? Okay, I'm
gonna some things. I should keep my mouth shut, keep
your mouth shut. So what do you do with the
left And I'm talking myself into saying this? I know
that's why.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
That's why I'm telling you do say it exactly. That's
what I'm telling you to do it, because then you're
going to go, No, Angel, you're not gonna tell you
the story. Don't tell me what I'm gonna tell you
the story?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Right now? I could see where people that if they
do this, they don't know what they're doing, or there's
something that you could do bad things right right right
because you don't know what's real, because in my head
you think it's real, and it's like, okay, well, if
you want to, if you want to show her that
you absolutely love her more than anything in the world.
Then you got to stab her because that was so
because that's the worst thing that you could do, and

(19:59):
then then ends up being the best thing because it's
a paradox. And I could see where somebody would get
crazy and go get a knife and go this is
how I show you. I love you, like like it.
I'm telling you like it is. You don't know what
you're in and you think that is a reality.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
I will say this because I've been fortunate that in
the times that i've uh, you know, tip my toe
into that pool of that, I've been really lucky to
have people around me that had way more experience than
I did and that and so that my experiences, even
with my very first experiences with that, yeah, I was
way more eye opening and pleasant and uh.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
I cannon ball into the sea of muscles, I'm gonna say,
thought thought provoking and everything.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
But I had people around me that were like, you know,
like hey, dude, and checking in on you, and and
and just all all those kinds of things. So yeah,
I could see where that version of what you did
was a little disconcerted.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
It was a lot disconcerting. And then you can go
through these different timelines and visit like what would life
have been if I would have done this or done that?
And uh, and then you're convinced that there's millions of
timelines to get to the end and that God was
talking to you just craziness.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
No, you're it's just a hacky Marvel movie, right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
it was Okay, my life was a hacky Marvel movie
timeline and Loki was there, you need to fix it
all that's that's nuts, man, I get Oh.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
And then there was a whole thing where it's like, well,
in order to actually die, because you're trying to die here,
in order to actually get there, you got to do
all the ten commandments, but you got to do the
opposite because that's the only way to get into heaven.
So you got to steal something and you got to
kill somebody, and you gotta like all and I couldn't
remember all this.

Speaker 4 (21:44):
You just a real quick reset of what you were
doing this because as a lot of people texting in
and are catching this song.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Somebody came over to my house for Thanksgiving and they're
into these like gummies and something. I'm not into it,
and they say, oh, yeah, I've got these these candies too,
but they don't they don't do anything, you know, they're
not and I'm like, okay, whatever. So we were making
a show coutereri board on Friday night and I was like, got,
there's some chocolates, let's put them, you know, a part
of the short counterery board. Turns out they were full,

(22:10):
Like no, they were shaped like a mushroom. I should
have known, right, But and then afterwards I looked like,
what does this say? And they said you're supposed to
do like a quarter of it. And I took I
ate three chocolates, and at about eleven o'clock at night,
I was convinced I was dying, that I was in
this paradox thing where every two whatever you think, two

(22:31):
seconds later the opposite would happen, and you couldn't break
out of it. You couldn't get out of it. And
it was it was a countdown to death, and it
was a countdown to the end of my life. And
I'm like, okay, well, you know, I want this to
be pleasant, but I would like to make sure at
the end of my life I have you know, we
got Mary Ellen with me. And but if I think
I love her, then I hate her and then okay,

(22:53):
so well I don't want to do that. Yes, yes,
if I want to live. I got a stabber. I
mean like, it was crazy. This for about six hours
of crazy, and it seemed more real than right now.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
I mean, yeah, we can't even prove that this is real.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Right now you're dreaming and technicolor. That's why. So it's
more intense. Correct, right now, I could just be finishing
out this timeline. There's other timelines that I tried to, uh,
you know, go to You cannot be real. I thought
about you in it.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
Don't think about me while you're tripping on shroom you
were you were there? Oh that's weirder, so you ain't. Okay,
I don't like that. Do you want to do it again?

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Bo? Was there too?

Speaker 5 (23:38):
You want to do it again?

Speaker 1 (23:39):
No?

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Not that that was frightening.

Speaker 5 (23:41):
No, And see now you've done it now you know.
Now you know what to expect. And they're like, okay,
let's let's just not go into the paradolm you know,
paradoxical timeline thing, and let's just have a good time.
Did you listen to music or do anything fun like that?

Speaker 3 (23:52):
The Simpsons were on all night long.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
You just watched seven hours of The Simpsons, and.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
I was talking back to Homer, Simpson's mayor. Homer was
me telling me what to do so I could get
to death the best way. And then and then Marge
was Mary Ellen, and then Bart was my son Ryan,
and then uh Lisa was Kim Hooker, and they all
were trying to get me to come over to heaven
the right way. But I had to listen to them
through the Simpsons.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
Were you seeing all the fractally stuff like the spirals
and all that?

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Or yeah, everything was real as real as it could be.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
Did you look at yourself in the mirror?

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Did not?

Speaker 5 (24:28):
Okay, you should try that next time. That's a lot
of fun.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
I bet I look skinny because anything I thought was
the opposite.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
You have just out of curiosity, not that, Ryan, and
I want any of them? Do you have any of that?

Speaker 3 (24:42):
I got a whole box of those things. I do
not have any There was nothing nowhere, No cool okay,
but but uh yeah, the persons in all these aren't real.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
These are yeah, whoever that person is, did you a
huge disservice?

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Yeah? I guess and no, totally.

Speaker 5 (25:02):
He's two seconds away from blurting it out him too much.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
I know, well, because like, honestly, all it takes is
a little bit of research.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Rush, you got a lot of research. I'm research. I'm
you the professor. I'm telling you.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
When it comes taking the mushrooms or acid or anything,
of course you're gonna do research.

Speaker 7 (25:21):
I didn't know what was gonna do. I thought was
just eating chocol's office. He told you, Hey, these don't
even work. That's irresponsible of that of that person, because
all you gotta do is again, those things are are
for sale, and they're for sale out of the state
of California. And all you gotta do is flip the.

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Back of it.

Speaker 4 (25:34):
And if you see you at one specifically angel what
specific label that it's got the exclamation point on it
that lets you know that it's authentic.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
That's would be the guy that the candy would be
like a skull death skull, and you'd be like, oh,
cool skull.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Eat that skull. I'm eating shaped like a mushroom. And
I didn't think about it until halfway through whatever was happening.
You're not dying, it's it's it's it's that chocolate. You eight.
And then I'm like well, I can't beat the chocolate.
Then I forget that two seconds.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
Charcol has never failed me before.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
It's my friend and everything I would think two seconds later,
i'd forget. And then you get and then you get
afraid that you're gonna forget things that are important.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
Oh that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I can't imagine. Dude.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Did did you find any like life changing like epiphanies?
Did you have any of those?

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yes? Oh, like what a bunch, But some of them
I can't talk about. All right, tell you you're listening
to the mands of the morning. He last we heard,

Speaker 3 (27:55):
I've had a couple of people like you guys are
so irresponsible. You're not talking about Rob Reiner being murdered
less yesterday. We talked about it first thing, first thing
this morning I talked about I said we would revisit it.
Very sad. A lot of people in Hollywood very upset.
Billy Crystal, Larry David Are, I guess close friends with him.
They showed up after the murders while the police were

(28:17):
still there. I guess Tom Hanks is a super a
good friend of his. Barack Obama has talked about it
and knew him very well. And it is shocking. And
now I've got one source that is saying that it
was Rob Ryder and his wife were stabbed by their son, Nick,
who's thirty two. That is a source that I you know,
we don't know that to be true.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
But that's the people magazines reporting. And then that's not
just stabbed its throat slit.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Yeah, that's that's a special kind of angry.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
Yeah, they're saying that, Yeah, that he's got.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
A history of additional addiction, addiction.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
Yeah, he like was living on the streets for a
while and whatnot. I think they did like a talk
about it where he was like, you know, on the
on the on the back end of that. But you know,
drug indics it's a terrible thing. It's hard to get.
It's hard to get.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
This time of year past that.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
And then on top of that, you put this time
of year and just you know all the things that
go along with it. You know, it can be difficult
for some people.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
And I mean, okay, not knowing what kind of drugs
he's on or whatever. But you know, if you're not
in your right mind and you're thinking one thing in
your head and it's not reality, you know what I mean,
Like I can see that now.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
Yeah, it's uh that your your your experience changed you
and how you look at these kind of people.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
Yeah, for sure, because in my mind, you I'm thinking, oh,
I got to do this to show the ultimate amount
of love. It was crazy. It's crazy. So I mean,
who knows. I don't know why he would kill both
of his parents, but a lot of people say he's
just one of Rob Reiner was one of the sweetest
guys ever and they're in shock and it is very sad.
And uh, for those of you who don't know who

(29:51):
Rob Reiner is, if you ever watch the show All
in the Family. Back in the day, he was he
was it was called him meathead, you know, he was
h you know, the young the younger guy with with
was Archie his name, I think it was Archie. Yeah,
And he also directed to stand by me the princess

(30:11):
bride when Harry met Sally. And this is kind of
I heard this and when Harry met Sally, he was
making the movie and at the end of that movie
they were supposed to not get together. But while filming
the movie, he met his wife, who was murdered as well.
He met her and realized that love can work out
and change the end of the movie because he fell

(30:32):
in love while they were filming it. I thought that
was kind of interesting. Uh, it would have been a
totally different movie if they if they have not if
they didn't stay together, because it's a great love movie,
you know, misery. Uh, a few good men. The American President,
like he's done a lot of stuff in like, say's
spinal tap and he just recently did spinal tap too,
which was not that great, but you know he recently
did that, and uh, yeah, that's a that is shocking.

(30:55):
And I remember we said this a couple of weeks ago,
like someone will pass away in the next couple of weeks,
a celebrity that'll blow us away, and that that definitely
shocked me. This morning when I woke up, it was
it's sad.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
Yeah, that's super sad. And like the reporting's kind of
all over the place, and some places are reporting like
it's you know, not naming the person with TMZ, just
as like a few minutes ago posted that, like the
son is in custody of the La County Sheriff's Department.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
So it is the nick. Yeah. And I saw a
picture of all the kids together and he was the
one that looked disturbed in the photo I saw. I mean,
they all looked happy, and he looked disturbed. He looked scary.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Yeah, seventy eight years old and you get taken out by.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
Your son, murdered by your thirty two year old son.

Speaker 5 (31:39):
It's not like the mental health and drug drug health
stuff is like so important, Like it's such a hard
thing for people to get out of. And this guy
had all like literally because Rob Runners car Runner's son. Right, Yes,
so you're like Hollywood legacy, you have every door available
open to you. And this guy who went to rehab
a bunch of times kick kick, I have more of

(32:01):
a a not a softpart in my heart. But there's
like room for me to go, Like you're somebody who
needs help, Like the chemicals in your brain have now
been fully taken over and hijacked. Yeah, And but like
when he had the access to the rehab he had everything,
so what stopped him from being able to get out?
I've always like drug people. I have to cut them

(32:21):
out of my life completely because they can't. They can't
fix it. They can't fix it.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
And that's just question because I this, this is one
of those things that I disagree with you about or
or you know, we we don't see eye to eye
on And that's when you use the term nepo baby
in like a negative way, like it's a bad thing
or whatever. So Rob Reiner, in your eyes, would be
considered a nepo baby. His dad was famous. Lah, But
you can't say he didn't deserve He deserved everything he got.

Speaker 5 (32:48):
I mean, you can be a nepo baby like Rob
Bryner who went on to have an illustrious career and
did a lot, but that those doors were open because
of nepotism. Or you could be Dacotah Johnson. You could
just be a terrible actress and you keep getting rolled.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
She was on Saturday Night Live. Did you see her?

Speaker 5 (33:01):
It's terrible? Wh who's that singer?

Speaker 3 (33:03):
I don't know, Guys aren't familiar with Lily. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (33:07):
I only know, but she's David Harbor's ex girlfriend.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
So before that, she dated whatever, she dated one of
the guys from Chemical Brothers.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
And a few years ago she sings. She never was
She's not, she said she on Saturday Live.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
Very noticeable.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
She's not quote unquotely like a songstress. But she does
make music, and she came up through like MySpace and
stuff like.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
That, and a few years ago she had a really huge.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
Huge album that did well. I've used back then when
I first got put on the show. I used to
read on a couple of times, and you guys both
liked it. Yeah, And then over time she's kind of
been She's always been like a pop culture kind of
celebrity kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
And she's played with she plays with music. Let's say, well,
I always fast forward through the musical stuff. I don't know.
I'm watching Saturday Live to laugh.

Speaker 5 (33:52):
So fast forward and I look at it for about
like the thirty seconds to see if I like, what's happening.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
What did Johnson do? I mean, I think she should
in the background.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
She just came out while Lily was singing, and I
think they actually exchanged the kiss on stage.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
It seems like every song was about David Harbor.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
No, no, it is, and that's what. So that's why
she's getting critical acclaim right now. This particular album. The
whole thing is about that relationship, so all the bad,
all the you know, the the distrust, the disloyalty, everything,
And so that's why. And I guess because of it
being so raw, people are responding to it. It's gotten

(34:27):
favorable reviews the album has. But again, Lily Allen has
never been known to be a like incredible vocal performance.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
I pause. I actually watched an entire reformance because I'm like,
this is a joke, right, Like she's some kind of
joke artist. So it's bad she can't sing.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Yeah, and so did Dakota Johnson sing.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
No, she was just saying he stay in the background
as a silhouette supposed to like represent her like being
alone in like a room while her man's out there cheating.
And then and then at the very end of the song,
she opens up the car is revealed that it's Dakota Johnson.
She says something for I wish she said, but I'm
sure it was prolific.

Speaker 3 (35:02):
It was just like a performance piece. Yeah, okay, all right, yeah,
we gotta take a break when we come back and
side for the King of Denmark Ryan Holmes, to make
his daily proclamation. You're listening to the match of the
morning
