going on today.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
So what's up.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
It's our last you know, live live show like in
this studio, which seems like a real show. Tomorrow is
more of a you know, it's fundraising event.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
It's like a telethon.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Are down the Hall.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Yeah, we got that entire studio over there and we're
gonna have it all decorated up.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
It's gonna be great. We got a bunch of bands.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Coming in and just trying to raise money for the
Coalition for Homeless.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
So that's Are they good bands?

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yeah? Okay, yeah, they're all good.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
All Timmy fat Timmy Okay, got Timmy band, oh my.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
And then we've got a jazz band that I haven't heard,
but I've been told they're really really great. They're gonna
do Christmas songs. We got Heather Cantrell. We've got Savannah Savino,
you know her, she's amazing. Monster music man Matt has
done a song. He's gonna be our our, our music.
You know, what do you say?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Producer? I guess, music.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Coordinator, musical director, director, There you go, musical director.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
He'll be not the girl that was here last time
I was here. A young girl.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Music contest.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, she's singing.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
She won the music contest this year and she is great.
You're talking Brianna. Yeah, she wanted to do it really bad,
but her and her family went on a Christmas They
couldn't make it because of the Christmas cruise.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
You know that was a thing Christmas Christmas cruises.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So so this is how my daughter and I are
remarkably different. Russ my kid, she's been she's getting close
to double digits on cruises.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I've I've never been on one. She's fortunate. Her grandparents
are like, uh, what's the highest level.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
That you could be in the gold like gold in
the diamond diamonds.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
So they cruise so much that they've got at the
end of the year, whatever it's points or whatever whatever
that is, extra cabinet. Yeah, that they they've got to
burn them. And so so for the last couple of
years she's gotten to do her Christmas cruise. And I
did not know that was like a thing that you
can't believe.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
You never went on a cruise with us.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
I try to talk it, no, no, no.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
But I feel like he was always there.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
All the all the cruise stories that y'all have. That's
like about five years before I got there. I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I wasn't even in the Bible in my memory, you
were with us. I don't understand how you just said that.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
Actually, I was like, like, you've always been there for me.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Well, the fact that your daughter loves cruising so much,
does it make you at all curious to go on one?

Speaker 5 (06:16):
That's why he won't go on a cruise because he
doubled down and he's like, oh, grandparents, take my daughter
on a cruise.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Oh no, No, I don't know all that. She's very again,
they're very gracious and she's very fortunate. But it doesn't
sway me at all.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
If I'm thinking two thousand, twenty twenty six, I want
to manipulate some way to send him on a free cruise.
Like if I sent you and your girl on a
free cruise in twenty twenty six, if that was one
of my.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
New Year's resolutions, would you go?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Okay? List being completely transparent, right, yea yeah. The other
huge part that we kind of joke around about it,
but I have learned in the last year that going
on a cruise doesn't really mean that you're not out
of pocket thousands of dollars.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Well, okay, But what I'm saying is, if I can
get you a free cruise and and and you don't,
I wouldn't suggest do it with a bunch of listeners
because you're not actually going to get the experience.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
You're you'll all have to get your work.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
If you went on a cruise, which is you and
your girl and it was just you go and enjoy it,
I guarantee you you'd come back cruise man.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
All right, Well, let's.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
I don't know if you're going to be cruise man.
Why say that, I don't know if angels cruise man.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I think he is cruise man. I'm concerned about fitting
in the cabins.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yeah, I'm yeah, they haven't bothered me. I think you
enjoy it. Anyway, we should revisit that we digress.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
I will say, I know today lengths with problem with
this too.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
By the way, I don't have a whole lot of
topics today because I figured today's willy nilly. We're just
going to be big, dumb fun having fun.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Ratings do matter?

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Saying that I was tokay, fine, ratings don't matter.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I have fun.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
We're going to review the year. We're gonna have fun.
We're gonna we're just that today is just just, you know,
a good day for fun. But I want to we
obviously want to catch up with Savannah. Hadn't seen her
since she went to uh Jamaica. We got to get
ready for tomorrow. That's you know, make sure we raise
this because they're really the correlation for the homeless. I
know it for us, it's like okay, yeah, we're doing
it next week. Let's do it for them. They count

(08:21):
on us really to help, you know, raise money for
because now that we've done it every year, it's now
like hey monsters, you know we expect you to raise
this amount of money. So you know we had some uh,
we have some responsibility for that.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Yeah, we gotta do that or something else.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
I've gotta tell Savannah.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Oh, and Savannah's here today.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
So as long as Daisy comes in, uh, then everybody
can open their presence? Is Angeline coming? Does anyone know?
We gotta wait on Angeline?

Speaker 3 (08:52):
You know she was here, she signed Angelique wasn't. I
literally had to record stuff for that was all the
reasons she did touch her presence.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
She knows she has a.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Pressure shresta and I said, you can't open it. That
was the okay, that was where the rule. I was
the person I was referring to when I said, oh
I know someone that opened it.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Oh right, because did she open it?

Speaker 3 (09:10):
No? No, it's still there. It's un touched.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Okay, So that's so something. I was putting it all
on you that you know you had to come in here.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
Fine, I got I got big shoulder.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I know, I know. I figured I've tried to pressure
you to come in, but I know you didn't come
in just for your present today.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
No, not just for my present. It helps, but not
just for my present.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
No, because I know tomorrow we're gonna be doing the
fundraiser and I wanted to have fun. So I called
Russ in the week and I was like, I was like, well,
then I'm gonna come on Thursday so we can have
fun and then we'll do the telethon marathon on the
other day.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Well, you're gonna come Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
But and you missed a really really upbeat Jeff houseong
on Tuesday.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Chucks, No, it's hilarious nickel buttonhole.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Yeah, good, good on you for missing that one. That
was I mean, talk about the Throes of Despair.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
I was them on Tuesday. And then I was like,
did you see.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
The text that Jeff Howl wrote me yesterday?

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yeah, you should be. I have no faith in that.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
He said.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
He said, he went home, took a nap, and then
he woke up and then he wrote a nickel buttonhole
song that was funny, one that I would like.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
He heards you. He hit the vate pen and and
his depression. He wrote another.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Song, Jeff depressed, stopped drinking.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
You know he's morose, is what it is?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Drinking again.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah, he's not depressed, he's moros.

Speaker 7 (10:25):
He was just like moros.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
That's good, that's a good word.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
He's moros.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
He's every song he's done for the past seven time
has been like a sad tom waits like.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
A like a deep like like a deeper meaning, you know,
like he's the he's the old man at the sea now.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
But they're not songs that he wrote to death. They're
nut songs he wrote. There are songs that he likes
from other artist.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
He wrote paper us. He just wrote him down good.

Speaker 7 (10:48):
I love when Jeff always would do karaoke.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Anyway, So I said, yeah, you know, we need to
raise money on Friday, so no depressing songs.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
I had a couple of people is coming tomorrow too
to sing, I know.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
I said, now, well, now, last time we invited him
for a christ Christmas thing, He's saying God is a
river and I'm sitting there going dude, and the audience
was getting getting all sad. We're trying to raise money.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
We got to be upbeat and fun.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Well that's tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
And I had some a couple of people who wanted
to come in for tomorrow and they wanted to do
original songs, and I said, no, you gotta.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
It's gotta be Christmas. We're doing Christmas stuff.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
This is upbeat, fun Christmas time.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
You can blame for that one.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
I remember he brought that girl in.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
He was trying to get he was trying to get
get up with her.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
Ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
He brought a girl, but he made up for it
with the stubborn cowgirl and Doug and Doug we forget.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, I know you're petty like that.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Pattylujah.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
All right, listen, that's my boy.

Speaker 4 (11:53):
Oh my god, I message him. I'm sorry. I messaged
him all the time.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Today's theme is basically big dumb fun. We are going
to do trivia, we will do uh, we will do
monster sports obviously, you know to get it already. We
got mo for the weekend. Uh and Russo Windeeba will
be here to tell you what kind of wines you
need for the holidays. Uh, of course we'll do King
of Denmark and all that stuff. But this is our
last live show.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
That is a regular show of what do you say
under my breath? Would you say?

Speaker 4 (12:18):
But he says you say under your bread?

Speaker 3 (12:22):
You did say something, you said he was he was
kind of chapped in the way that you kind of dismissed,
but you kind of did the hand gesture.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (12:31):
It was like we got wine D, but we got
of course we gotta go.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
We got ko D and we got you hot takes.
We got all the normal stuff.

Speaker 7 (12:37):
You guys gave more emphasis to hot takes than you did.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
The Ko D hot takes are pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
They are good, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
I want you to know that today today on the Monsters,
we're gonna do the.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
God damn King of Denmark.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Incredible comedy biddings you won't be but all you got
you gotta pee your pants when you hear this today,
so you get.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Ready what it did? This might extra draw.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Wait, wait, she doesn't know any of this.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Don't tell her.

Speaker 7 (13:08):
That's not his story.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Here, you can't tell her story.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
No, no, wait till you I'll let wait till you here.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
I wasn't gonna tell her this is not.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Wait till she's a judging these days.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Oh no, you I.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
Think it's judging if you paid your pants. I mean
I think everyone's going to judge that the same way.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
I think you're genuinely going to be shocked.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
Oh my god, I can't wait to hear that a person.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Who's going to revisit this from a person who you
probably were like, Oh, he can't do anything to shock
me anymore. I think this story is gonna be You're
gonna be like, who the hell are you?

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I don't know who knows? Where was that going with this?

Speaker 6 (13:51):
When we get back from this break, we're gonna hear
a crazy story, So make sure you stay tuned in.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Did we mention the King of Denmark his bit to that?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
All right?

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Almost cursed again name.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
Don't let me know if you are walking a tight
I need more coffee. We'll catch up with what we
did yesterday when we come back.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Don't go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
You're listening to the Monsters in the morning. Welcome back
to the Monsters morn Age on Real Radio one of

(14:37):
four point podcasting. Merry Christmas, Let's talk about that. Welcome
back I'm runs with Savannah here today. Daisy, you'll be
in a little bit later on. We got Angel and Ryan.
By the way, Angel and Ryan and I along with
Kylie Blakeley. We went to the Cure Bowl yesterday. Uh
and now listen, you know, because I live so far away, like,

(14:59):
I didn't want to drive all the way home.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Is that.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
All that?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah, we'll revisit that.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
We'll revisit that.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
He's trying to blow it all.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
We got five hours and I got no topics.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
So yeahwork, No, I knew you were coming in. It
was more that's why you want me to come on
the show exactly. Yeah, uh no, So I went.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
I went over and visited Reese over at Motorworks.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
I got to talk about something too. I haven't been
out in the bars very much, right, so have you
seen have you seen this much? Maybe it's just for
this bar, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
He said.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
There was a bunch downtown the vending machines that have
just like.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Stuff in them.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
That's a really popular thing that they're doing right now.
There's a bunch of uh independently what it is. Because
so there's a bunch of independent uh bars downtown Burtons
has one, Motorworks has one, there's a couple other ones.
And so what they put in there is basically it's
adult toys, adult gags, adult just anything kind of adult
ish bags. Obscure sucks, So they'll put a silly what

(16:04):
you're getting, Yeah, they'll put a silly name on it.
You really, you're really not sure you know what you're getting,
because it could be anything from like an adult sex
toy to some you know, sexy underwear, to any any
kind of thing like that. And they're they have them,
you know, a bunch of different places. I was looking
to get into that business. Actually it's people.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Will they start drinking, Yeah, they start drinking and they
look at the bag and like, what the hell's in there?
And you gotta buy it to find out and then
so peep other people in the bar.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
I'll go buy one and see it and it's just trash.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
It's just the silly little toys.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
The person that started it, from what he told me,
just had a bunch of uh, just random stuff and
just put them in the bag and put on a
vending machine and.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
It's took off.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
And now that's like a gimmick in downtown Orlanta, I've
never seen that before.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
I thought it was pretty funny.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
I know a guy that like his his whole gimmick
is is like when he gets to the bar, he'll
go to the vending machine. He'll buy like five or
six of these things. Yeah, and then just walk through
the bar and hand him out to.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
Everybody, and then everybody buys them from the venda Massie.
It's really funny. Anyway, they just sit around and talk
to Reee. Great talking to him. He's a great guy. Uh,
friend of ours. But so now after lunch, it's twelve
thirty and we don't have to be there really till three.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Uh, but I found out the tailgate party opened at one,
So I got there at like one, just sitting in
the fan fast the fan fast, just sitting there.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Waiting for you guys. Uh and uh and.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
You guys showed up at the exact right time, you know, uh,
for for the for the event. And there were a
lot of kids at the Cure Bowl. I was very
surprised that. Uh, I mean, well there was this was
the funny part. So there were like kid kids.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
And then even the college, the college young people, RUSS
was like those those they look super young.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
I know, the football player. Okay, that's what I want
to talk about.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
She had the two teams, you had uh Old Dominion
and it was South Florida University of South Florida right,
USF right uh? And the USF are the bulls, I guess.
And then Old Dominion I don't even know what they are.
But the Monarchs okay, and even the players. I mean, like,
I guess, you get to an age where everybody looks younger.
I don't know what it is. I mean, they looked

(18:11):
so young and really small, you know they.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
I was like, that's rude. Again. I completely misjudged the
dog in an Old Dominion because USF when they hit
the field, they looked larger than Old Dominion. But Old
Dominion got them. The Old Dominion got up with this game.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
So I watched the game with Angel and his girl
and Ryan for a while and then my guy I
got you know, I got to drive home, so I had,
you know, in sitting there, I was like, man, there's
not that many people here. It kind of looked like
a high school football game.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
I wasn't, you know.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
And then when I go home, you know, I'm getting
ready to drive home and there's a lot of traffic,
so don't everybody freak out. But I was able to
turn on my phone and watch the game as I'm driving.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
I was sitting.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
It was the time on night four, so I turned
the football game on ESPN. The difference it looked like
it looked like, oh my, okay, that's a college game.
The way they shot it, the way they shoot it,
the way the players look on TV like that. Why
is it it's so different from television than real life?
Ryan like, like, it was a complete difference from what
we saw live in the in the stands.

Speaker 5 (19:14):
Like I said, man, it's like a fat girl on Instagram.
It's all about the angles. Act looked good.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
I think I think that is it's it's the angles.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
The way they didn't show crowd shots very much.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
It was like highlighted just in the you.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Know, on the saw they feel this the stadium like,
so the first five rows, first five or six rows
on both sides, they had all the pink banners there
for a Cure Bowl stuff, right, right, So when you're
shooting on camera, you're not seeing any no fans there
because it all looks like uh, you know, uh promo
for the for the Bowl game.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
And then when they show an outward shot right the
way the people at the Camping World Stadium have painted
the seats or whatever, it kind of looks like there's
people sitting there when there weren't.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Right, Oh yeah, so it it.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
Really was like when I watched on TV, like that
looks like a normal Bowl game, but when I was
at the actual bowl game, a lot less people than
I had expected for the Cure Bawl. But like the
next Bowl game that's at the Camping World Stadium, I
think it's going to be like a bigger game.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Right. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
It's Michigan and Texas and that that's the Cheese At Bowl,
and that's going to be Both those teams have a
huge fan bases, both those teams travel well.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yeah, and I get.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
The feeling that Texas is gonna exact their revenge on
Michigan and just stomp them. And I had a.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Different feeling yesterday when we've gone to the Monster Truck Show.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
I thought I've come.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
In here and I said, oh man, our you know,
the Campi Wolf Stdium looks great. It looks fine, it's great.
I went yesterday and I thought, Okay, the Jacksonville Jags
are going.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
To play here this year.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
It does need to be furbished, you know, like it's
not that particularly great.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Take you agree or disagree?

Speaker 3 (20:55):
No, absolutely, dude.

Speaker 7 (20:59):
So so they like, we're just invited to somebody's house.
Now we're being made to them.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
No, no, no, I understand what happens for us.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
The Centred Bowl belongs all of us in Orlando. You
can have an opinion. We're do.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
So what will happen between now? What will happen between
now and then the Jags come into town? Right, They're
gonna go in there. They're gonna steam clean everything, pressure wash.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Everything they need to.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
They'll they'll freshen up the seats and everything the things
that need to be addressed there. And it's the same
stuff that happened even when I was DJing games there.
The sound system, the sound system there is even for
that game last night, not good.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
I didn't notice that.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
Yeah, the way that the sound system was coming from
the speakers across across the field from us.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
And then the PA system again for a NFL professional game,
I would hope that the goal is if the worst
stadium is the is where the Bengals and Browns play
right then, I would hope that our goal is to
be at least a step better than those.

Speaker 7 (21:55):
Javy World Stadium.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
The stadium as it is now opened in nineteen thirty six.

Speaker 7 (22:01):
I don't know if that's but it's been up in
nineteen thirty six that it.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
Had a major upgrade in let's see nineteen eighty nine.

Speaker 7 (22:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, teared down fix listen.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
I used to play football.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
When I played football at Edgewater High School, we played
at Camping World Stadium.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
That's where we played, but.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
As a city in there for hours upon hours, I
was looking at it does need a paint job before
Jacksonville JAG's gone to play here. Someone needs to get
up there in paint.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
I was so glad when UCF got its own stadium.
Yeah say that I did not like going to UCF
games at.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Camping World, Yeah yeah, yeah, But other than that, I
did enjoy it. It was fun to go to a
football gah, I've been to one in a long time.
And we sat around a really bunch of nice people.
The one guy that was behind us, though, kept trying
to rib you about UCF. The guy that was a
oh nick, Yeah, he's a nice guy, but he was
trying to get at you.

Speaker 7 (22:50):
Yeah, well, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
It would have felt weird to not wear the pink
and the white because I thought that's what we're doing.

Speaker 7 (22:56):
So I don't have a white UCF shirt, so I
didn't wear.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
So I don't know if you saw this. So the
two kids that were sitting in front of us, the
two UH band geeks that were there, they had they
were UCF students and they had apparently friends of theirs
in the different in the band for South Florida. So
they were doing all their like their funny like jokes
and stuff. It was funny watching that. But he had
his U U c F and then someone got at him.

(23:22):
So someone sitting on our row. I don't know if
you saw this. So apparently it's a disc to the
USF bulls. If you do the horns upside down, they're
trying they're trying to do the bite off of University
of Texas, Like if you do Texas horns down, or
if you do like the U, but you do the
U down, those are incredible. That's incredibly disrespectful.

Speaker 7 (23:42):
Photo.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
So when the so when the band was coming out,
and again the kids were messing with somebody that they
knew on on the other band and they were doing that.
One of the guys near us, Russ, was like, hey,
quit being disrespectful. Oh really, And I was like, what
what what are you doing? It's like usf like y'all
stole that from the University of Texas.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
We did.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, what are we doing here?

Speaker 1 (24:03):
How long did you got did you?

Speaker 2 (24:04):
I know? I guess Ryan left. I thought Ryan was
just going to get a beer. I didn't know he
left to go home.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
How long?

Speaker 7 (24:10):
Now I'm a dog alone.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
It was my wife's Christmas party, so she wasn't going
to get home till like ten o'clock at night.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Literally, like we were, Kayla and I were like literally
probably fifty yards behind you. We fought like we left
right after you did.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. Uh. Traffic wasn't well, traffic was
terrible trying to get home after I didn't get home
till probably nine, which is which is terrible.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
But man, you must be tired.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
I am a little tired.

Speaker 7 (24:34):
But I'm your hair today because he has the work lest.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
No, I got a bunch of tomics.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
I just know that it's just fun enough.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
I'm not gonna need him because I know savannahs here
and she's got a lot to tell us.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
We're gonna catch had lots to talk about all way,
tell me.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
About I know you just got back from Jamaica. Yeah,
we know.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Jamaica had the horrible hurricane and a lot of damage
was done. Did you run into a lot of.

Speaker 6 (24:55):
That or so were we were more on the east
side of Jamaica the urricane hit on the west side.
Gatorland Global donated about ten thousand, almost ten thousand dollars
in like recovery assistance and.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (25:08):
But we gave it to the Hope Zoo which is
in Kingston and then the because the Hope Zoo is
like the best zoo in Jamaica. But also they take
in all the wildlife that's being displaced from the storm, right,
so they've been helping like different different different communities and
stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
It's a real problem, isn't it. At least they've reported
it was a problem that like gators and stakes and stuff.
With all the flooding going into people's homes and everything.

Speaker 6 (25:37):
I don't think there was in yeah, exactly what you're saying,
but and also birds that got displaced and things like that.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
Animals, dogs, cats, things like that.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
And then there were there were a couple families of
zoo keepers whose families lived kind of behind the Hope
Zoo in an area of Jamaica called land Lease.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
Yeah, and I think.

Speaker 6 (25:55):
That area is pretty much uh well, it's not the
safest area in the in the part of Kingston, and
so we were able to help some of those families
get like the big water tubs. We don't have them
in the United States, but Angel has been to Puerto
Rico alive.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
I know exactly what you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (26:12):
They put a water tub on top of their house
so when the water comes out into there, it gives right, Yeah,
it's like a pump, it gives it pressure. And so
we bought a couple of those for people because they
were having to walk a mile and a half to
get water and then a mile and a half back
with the water for their families, like.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Filter so they can drink it, or just for their
yard and stuff.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Uh no, it's it goes into their homes.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
It's rain water, so it's to wait for them to
capture rain water.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
Yeah, So we were able to buy a couple of
those and help some people with some stuff like that.
So it was really wonderful and like so funny. Like
I was in this community right, which has a high
amount of crime in Kingston, and uh, and like mostly
people don't go there, even Jamaicans don't go there.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
And then there's me in there.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Right.

Speaker 6 (26:59):
So we went to these people's house to like say hey,
and you know, are you guys okay? This little kid
runs out and I'm telling you, he must have been
six years old at max. He runs out as if
he knows me, right, he runs runs, runs out of
the house and uh, and he comes up to give
me a hug and then he's and then I don't
know what clicked in his brain, but then he kind

(27:22):
of like stopped and was like, oh, no, I'm not
gonna hug her.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
And I was like, na, man, bring it in, and
like he runs up and gives me a big hug.

Speaker 6 (27:29):
This kid at like four to six years old again,
walking a mile and a half to get water, walking
a mile and a half to bring it back.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
That kid had.

Speaker 6 (27:37):
Apps and that kids muscles, we're so big and I've
never seen anything.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Like it like that.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
I just had to be like, dude, what are you
guys feeding him? Like I've never seen a child look
this Jack Diesel in.

Speaker 4 (27:48):
My whole entire life.

Speaker 6 (27:50):
Like he's only four years old. I don't know understand
how he looks like this.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Did he know you like from YouTube and stuff or
he just he were just a big blonde girl.

Speaker 6 (27:57):
They you have uh And then like cause his immediate
I was like, oh, I got to go hug this lady.
But then when he saw me, I guess how big
I am. He was kind of like, oh, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
And then I was like, not bring it in and
then he was like great.

Speaker 6 (28:09):
And there's a little girl that is the ambassador for
the Hope Zoo named Mehlia, and I've been trying to
meet her like the past three trips i've been there.
And she's so cute, so professional with everything she does
on social media. She's about ten. Her mom brought her
to the zoo to meet me and didn't tell her
because it was her birthday, so she is like super excited.

(28:29):
It was really touching, like we both cried, like I
met her and her mom and it was just really
really wonderful.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
You know. I saw one of the stories of someone
in Jamaica.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
And it was similar to what you were talking about,
you know, they had to go get water and all
that kind of stuff, But yet they still had a
cell phone and cell phone service. And I have to
ask myself, how do they afford a cell phone and
how do they.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
Pay for Well, that's their connection to the world. Like
if they don't have cell phones out there, they can't
call for help like they need that.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
The other part of it, Russ is believe it or not.
Is that again, because you're probably comparing it to what
we pay for cell phone service here, they don't pay
the same It's not the same way. I know what
a cell phone bill is, and so so we know
because we kind of talked about this a few months ago.
But the cell phone service and cell phone phones here
in America, we're probably in the top five most expensive.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Uh, we don't have to pay what we're paying. They
just know that we will pay.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Exhibit everywhere else everywhere else in the world and there
and there's it's been legislated and there's a lot in
place to protect the consumers that it can't cost over
this threshold.

Speaker 7 (29:35):
Yeah, a lot of.

Speaker 6 (29:35):
Those communities, and I think even Elon Musk helped helped
with like the people there that have iPhones and the
people there like starlink is a big thing in Jamaica too,
So like the community might have starlink, which means they
could call their families and tell their families that they're
safe or their okay, things like that when the because
the infrastructure of like the internet, like Wi Fi would

(29:56):
go down, but if they have starlink, they can still talk,
like if they water, if they need help wherever they
are now.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I know when I was in Cuba, there was only
one square one area where there was Wi Fi where
people could use their phones.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
And you have to pay and buy a little card.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
Okay, when I was there, it was free for everybody. Well,
but this was like the local folks would all hang
out there because there was free Wi Fi in this
one square right, I know.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
What you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (30:25):
Yeah, but uh but I've always had to pay, like
buy a card and then you like it's one of
it's kind of like a scratcher and you have to
put a code in and that's how you get into
the Wi Fi of Cuba.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
I think I was there early, you know, and maybe
maybe they changed it afterwards they realized we got all
these Americans coming in we could charge them.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Maybe that was it. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (30:46):
I mean the Cuban people have to pay for the
cards or they have to pay like a cell phone
bill or something like that. I'm very concerned about I'm
very concerned about things going on because I have to
go back to Cuba this year.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
I need to.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
But also there's so are you doing a lot of
trialing what he says things on me too.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
But there's also a travel band, So I don't know
how that's gonna work.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Oh there's a travel band.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Well, I mean that's what's being talked about. Okay, So
you see that camel eat out of my mouth?

Speaker 1 (31:17):
What?

Speaker 4 (31:18):
There's a kid? That kid is jazz.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
There's the words I ever thought of. What did you say?

Speaker 6 (31:22):
You see that camel eat out of my mouth?

Speaker 1 (31:24):
I did not see that. They have like, oh oh,
I did you see that?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
There was a camel that they were doing like a
Nativity scene And they walk in a camel into the
church and a camel kicks this woman like it was
on the news this morning, and and and the church
is like, man, we we feel bad. We thought it
just adds some authenticity to the camels.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Gonna do a camera camel.

Speaker 6 (31:45):
If you never saw a camel up close, a camel
is a giant. And if a camel doesn't like you,
because you got to understand, their legs can kick out
in any direction. So you could be standing on the
side and y'all are just chilling and then all of
a sudden it knock you out.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
There was ever an animal, which is bizarre. Uh, Camels
are about vibes, and if they don't vibe with you,
if they if they don't, if you roll up and
they don't vibe with you, not only will they kick you,
they'll spit on you.

Speaker 7 (32:09):
The Firs wasn't even doing nothing.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Just how petty carols are. They could just be walking
by you, like, I don't like the vibes of this.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
You know what, camel just kicked that woman.

Speaker 6 (32:22):
You're so right about camels because there was a camel
at the at the Hope Zoo and his name was Moses.
And me and Moses we vibe right. Me and Moses
were on it. Every time I would come, he would
run out. He would smell me and they put his
head up and be like, Moses loves the smell of America.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Right.

Speaker 6 (32:41):
But Moses's girlfriend is not a fan of mine. Oh
she's all snatchy and in my face every time I'm around,
and I'm terrified.

Speaker 4 (32:49):
Of her because I'm scarce. She's gonna kick me in
the head and knock me out.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
Well, that cambell kicked that woman. I guess you had
to go to the hospital.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
And now that the church like man, I guess they've
done it before where they bring cambe into the church
for the Nativity scene.

Speaker 1 (33:02):
I want to cancel that next year.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
I'm on the camel side that lady did something, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
I'm right there with you. Or maybe that lady did
something she shouldn't have done, and the camel's like, I'm
getting out here with that.

Speaker 7 (33:12):
For like crows where they just remember people.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Yes, maybe she to her.

Speaker 6 (33:18):
Maybe she took somebody to the pettings where the camel
lived and he remembered and was like, oh.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
This bitch again. Bam.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
All right, listen to our last live Friday of twenty
twenty five, and it's basically just a big, dumb fun Thursday.
Did I say Friday, it's Thursday?

Speaker 4 (33:35):
Jokes out loud instead of he.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Likes some mumble umber knee, he likes it slight of
mother neath yeah, my brand.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Well, I can't laugh if I can't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
Thank you, but I appreciate you being here and telling
him that I can't laugh.

Speaker 1 (33:48):
But I don't know when we're saying. But most of
this stuff is this mean stuff about me?

Speaker 3 (33:52):
She got that one.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Yeah, all right, a bunch of big dumb fund It
is a Thursday, I think I said Friday back, So
it's Thursday. Tomorrow is our big day for the court.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
Is he still making secret jokes?

Speaker 1 (34:04):
He mumbled something.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Why is it a mumble mouth?

Speaker 1 (34:08):
I don't mumble.

Speaker 7 (34:08):
I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Wait, can we go you your pants?

Speaker 2 (34:19):
You're listening to the marsh of the morning. All right,
So let me do trivia at seven this morning for
those of you that love it. At seven, we'll do
it at seven. We moved it around, Savannah. People don't
like change. Did you know that people do not like change?

(34:39):
But what we were doing was trying to get everybody
to give everybody a chance to win all these great
prizes and uh and uh. So we moved it around
to different times of the of the day. Turns out
some of the same people listen all day.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Long and still still win the prizes. Our last live
show in this.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
Studio, twenty twenty five, and we can reflect and talk
about all the great things you have.

Speaker 6 (35:04):
You have Gatorland tickets to give away.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
We never have gateor Lamb tickets to give away for
some reason. I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Tickets to give away to our event.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
Yeah are we Yeah? Yeah, yeah, oh okay.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
Because it's fun out there, tell me about it. Gator Claus.

Speaker 6 (35:17):
So it's a holiday hold out.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
It's Gator Claus.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
It was great. It's scary, get crap, Let's be honest.
Gator clothes is scary.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Saw our our dance video, but it is fire fire,
fire of Gator.

Speaker 4 (35:36):
Claus is singing, uh, is singing uh. Since we've been.

Speaker 6 (35:41):
Together and we were throwing down in the background and
it was so good.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Hey, the last but the last time we saw you,
the last dance video you did with Angel I mean sorry,
with Ryan and Andrew Leek.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
That was fire And did you think about how well
it is?

Speaker 6 (35:55):
It got more views than anything you guys put anything
the whole station.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
Put up book the whole year.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Let's dear, I know that some other dudes started goofing
on it. Did you see that some was goofing on you.

Speaker 7 (36:04):
That's my friend Little Shirley's Little Shirley's boy.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
He's mad funny.

Speaker 6 (36:08):
He messaged me and he was like, I don't know
what that was. And I was like, look, I can
really dance and he was like m M yep. I
know your mouth says that, but your body is saying
a whole different though.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Yeah, he's super funny. And yeah so Gator.

Speaker 6 (36:23):
Clalls, Crampus, croc Jack, Frost, you can get in a
snowball fight at Gaterland. Uh, train ride, all kinds of decorations,
best place for family fun.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
Uh, you guys got to come out there. And I
don't do anything on.

Speaker 6 (36:36):
The holiday days except for a walk around and talk
to people and like I don't have like chores and stuff.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
Well mostly this Sunday I will.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
But more than a Hey, more than a Hey, more than.

Speaker 4 (36:51):
Hey, more than a Hey.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
Holiday, come on out and uh and it's super fun.
Christmas carols, Big Isle and now Crocodile always gets up
under the Christmas tree. I know a couple of you guys,
I know Angel got a Christmas photo with Lyle under
the Christmas tree and it's just so much fun. Like,
it's so much fun on those days, and like seeing
all the kids and they're so excited to meet Gator Claus.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
Skunk Cape's out there. He's killing it all the time.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
Uh, it's really good. Me and Skunkaper are having a
big fight. He says, I talk too much. Yeah, it's
argue every time I try to like talk to him now, right.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Because like obviously he's a person, right, No.

Speaker 6 (37:35):
