Speaker 1 (00:10):
Welcome back to the Monsters of the Morning. Remember Radio
one oh four point one. Every Thursday we do MO
for the weekend when we find out what's going on
this weekend and.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
We get to talk to Mode de Witt, who is here.
You know, just call MO dot com.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
He's got the best merchandise in the business when it
comes to his promotional stuff.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Thank you for the cups man. Of course, you don't
put my face on anything. I know. You know what
I like.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
You did the Sexiest Man Sexius MO Sexiest MO for
twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
That was good, which, for the record, there's not many
mo's around.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
So yeah, I got a couple couple questions. First off, Okay,
we were just talking about the President of Mexico being
groped in public or whatever, and how many women get
groped in publics?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
You know, yeah, not publics, public in public? Yeah, specify?
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah, is that something you've ever been a personal injury attorney?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Has that ever? Does any of those cases ever cross
your path? They do?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I mean the tough thing about that is, usually, you know,
from a civil standpoint, you'd be suing them personally and
there's not insurance involved in stuff like that. Usually unless
you're involving an employer or something like that. So you know,
a lot of times it's not financially viable, but a
lot of times people want to prove a point with it.
It's more for the principle, So it can be a
(01:24):
little tricky to navigate. Obviously, it depends on the situation,
and then of course it depends on.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
The proof because what a criminal, criminal thing. It is
of course criminal as well.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, it can be a criminal battery, yeah, yeah, yeah,
or sexual battery, depending what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
And then this week I saw a story.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
I'm like, okay, when Moe comes in, I got to
ask him about this because this seems like it is
just full of problems. So before we get to the
things that are going on this week, and I want
to ask you this, I saw a story and I
don't know where it is now, so I'm just going
off my memory. But there's a gym and they were
doing a promotion, and to do this promotion, they were like, hey, listen,
for the next three months, the first client, the first
(01:59):
person that comes this, you ever, whatever, that loses one
hundred pounds is going to win a Porsche.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
And I'm like that, oh no, that.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Has to have so many problems in it.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
Uh, so they do the gimmick though that did they
do the thing like the rate old school radio thing
where they gave him like a little matchbox Porsche.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
No, no, no, they haven't. It's not done yet.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
But they had to weigh in and they al also
had to pay a certain amount to the gym, you know,
to be a part of it. But either way, like
like to get people to try to lose one hundred
pounds in three months, that's gotta be just.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
It's dangerous on his face, right, So, I mean, you know,
you would think most responsible gyms would probably say that's
probably not a healthy way to lose weight, right, And
so if you're going to do that, you know, which
I think most doctors would agree, is not a real
healthy thing to do, you better have all sorts of
waivers because you're asking for trouble.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I was gonna say, so they obviously they more than
likely have waivers. Hey, if you want to be in
this contest, you got to sign waivers. But if we
all can see that that's not healthy, does a way
for really even matter?
Speaker 3 (03:02):
It may not because that may be considered gross negligence.
So it may be that they're acting so negligently that
you can't even wave away that the right to sue
in that situation. It depends on the circumstances of what
they're actually saying and how they're promoting it, and what
they're encouraging these people to do. But you know, for
the gym, I think it's a very very dangerous scenario.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
But if you got one nut, right, and the absolute nut,
he's always wanted to Porsche, he knows he can never
get whatever, and he cuts his arm off, you know,
he goes Yeah, I mean, I mean they're crazier things
are happening these days.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
True, Like that would be unfortunate because then that'd be
difficult to drive a Porsche with one arm.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Well, because you can't shift gear. Yeah, yeah, I think
they're all automatic now.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Anyways, that's horrible as well. Yeah, I think like to
get a manual transmission, I think it's a special order.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Now it's pretty hard to get. I didn't know. Maybe
I'm wrong. I'm sure the Texans Service can tell them
if I'm wrong. But yeah, Well, when I was.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Looking at my Porsche, I was looking for the ones
with manual transmissions.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
I was Yeah, exactly, But any contest like that, like
you know, everybody's going to have some sort of a
waiver that you have to sign it.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, but I would.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Love to see the sentence or it says, hey, let's
say you cannot chop off a part of a body
limb to make weight for.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
This contest rules.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Is that something anyone's ever come to you for, Like
we need you to write up the waiver to make
sure we are covered.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah, they have.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
And you know the nice thing is, because we litigate
a lot of waivers in those situations, we kind of
know where the pitfalls are because that's really how you
learn how to attack. You know, any sort of contract,
whether it's a waiver or a prenup or whatever it
may be, is by litigating the faults in it.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
And so what you know, when someone else drafts.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
It and now you're litigating it or you're on the
other side of it, and you can kind of try
to poke holes in it or try to get around it,
that's how you learn how to make them more solid.
So it's kind of a fun little exercise, but nothing's
ever absolute. And you know, one of the things about
waivers it always has to anticipate the potential harm. So
if something outside of what was anticipated happens, typically the
(05:02):
way it's not going to apply.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Okay, And on a totally different note altogether, I'm going
to an Italian restaurant tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
For our anniversary and.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
I'm gonna I plan on getting the chicken parm just
so I can tell you if it's any good or not.
That's my plan tomorrow night for my anniversary.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
You tell me off where you're going. I'll sit see
if I've been there before.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
Okay, it's downtown winter Haven.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
And the one Italian restaurant.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Like five Stars supposed to be, and I've been there
before and I had something else, and I'm like, next
time I go, I'm gonna get the chicken farm And
let to let MO know.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
All right, if you take a picture of you with
that Italian restaurant rest and Mary Ellen in the background
as a listener, I'll send you a real radio stick.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
I'll take it. I don't care.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
I'll take bitters my wife and the neighbors. Hold on,
what's the name of the Teian I'll find out. Hey,
tell us what's going on this weekend.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
This is the biggest thing happening downtown Orlando or in
Orlando this weekend. And I'm cure if you've ever had
any interactions or any of this stuff. This is EDC
Weekend man a DC Electric Daisy Carnival comes to Orlando seventh, eighth,
and ninth. It's at tinker Field. Just incredible lineups each day.
Sunday looks to be awesome. Saturday there's a couple of
(06:17):
really good DJ sets that are going out there. We
always hear in the aftermath of this mode where whether
it's the sound ordinances or people getting too messed up
or people, you know, all these things. What are some
as like let's say, if you're a ticket holder and
you're going this, what would you recommend is one of
some of the things that they should kind of detect themselves.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Any safety concerns, Make sure you're not allergic to glow
in the dark, tak.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Take them a lot of water. Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
I mean, that's that's the biggest thing that we see
from these kind of festivals, especially DC. And they've been
sued before, I think for the one they have in
Vegas for not having proper medics and security and things
like that. Because you know, a lot of these people
are taking drugs and then no. In one case, somebody
died and their family sued, and I was trying to figure.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Out how they sued. They sued the they sued EDC.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
They sew a lot the people who put on EDC,
and I couldn't find what the result of that case
was because I was kind of interested in that because
on the one side, you have somebody taking what I'm
assuming or illegal drugs.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Right, it's not the it's not the people's fault who
are playing the music.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Right, And but on the other side of the I
wouldn't think either, right, because I mean, I mean.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
They're sort of promoting, they facilitated and encourage that behavior
at the same time.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
That's kind of the question, I mean, because there's the
other kind of bands or shows that you can go to,
you know, and like, if you find what you find
at that show, do you put it on the band
or the promoter?
Speaker 1 (07:40):
You know?
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Well, I mean, you're supposed to have at any show
a certain level of security, obviously a certain level of paramedics.
But in this situation, you know, what caused this individual's death.
Was it taking the drugs or was it the lack
of you know the amount of paramatics that should have
been there, and I don't know that the details of it,
and again I couldn't find the outcome I'd cut.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
But uh, kind of kind of interesting. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
My wife is paramedic and she worked e DC like
three or four years in a row, and she said,
my god, it's just it's just constant. I mean, just
you know, just constant, just you know, people getting sick,
not realizing it's their first time of trying something and
they're freaking out, and uh, yeah, it's it's you know,
it's so just terrible.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
I mean, while I was twelve years old or thirteen,
I went to the up and Smoke tour in Tampa
and I love very hungry. I don't know why, but
what else happened?
Speaker 1 (08:29):
We got the sas this weekend, So this week look
for the surrounding neighborhoods to be mad because the music's
too loud.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yeah, that's a story we always get.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Uh, the Uber drivers not wanting to pull the people
up because people are so messed up.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Neither glitter butt prints on the back of Uber.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Like an Uber driver, they can decide who they want
to pick up and who they don't.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Typically just like any business, you have the right to
refuse service if you want to, and they can rate
you appropriately in the app if you do that, well,
you do have the right to refuse service as long
as you're not discriminating things like that. But there have
been cases where you know, Uber drivers kick people out
in bad neighborhoods and Uber's been sued for it because
bad things happen to those people, because it's unsafe.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
It was unsafe.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
One of the people was you know, significantly are seriously
beaten and injured and ended up you know, suing suing
Uber there. The other the other thing e DC has
been sued for before is by vehicles hitting people on
the on the fairgrounds, so not having like clear roadways
and then again you have a bunch of messed up
people walking around people can't really see the proper lighting.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Is e DC at the fair grounds this year or
is it over at tinker Field? Ye?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Tinkerd this again? That was the one in Vegas. Yeah,
it's the same company. I guess they put it one
on in Orlando and one on in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
The Italian restaurant is Arabella's and it's in winter Haven
and it's supposed to be five star like amazing, amazing.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Let me know how it is. I'll let you know. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Uh, well, in Maitland, we have we already had this party.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
That's an old day.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
Hold on a second, goes okay Friday, Yeah, Friday, No,
remember the seventh. At six pm we got Maitland's get
down down Town Street Party returns with live music from
h Dana and sharing great food for kids at bounce House,
gimes and games and a nine whole mini putt golf
course and vendors.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
That's something cool the City of Mayland does where they
do that Friday night little concert fun time. I don't
know if it's every Friday or once a month, but
people love it and it's always good.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
And also it's free admission to this one.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, and you mentioned bounce House.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Now, back when I had my party, rental companies to
rent bounce houses, and there were there would be people churches.
Usually there was a couple of churches that would make
any The kids can't get in the bounce house unless
they sign a waiver. The parents sign a waiver, and
I always thought that was sort of silly. It's like, oh,
but I mean, do you think that's a smart thing.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
I mean, waivers are always a smart thing typically, but
nowadays you can usually put up signs and there's kind
of inherent risks, and usually they have not with your case,
but some level of insurance to cover cover injuries that
may occur.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
I did not know you, so I mean, hey, a
waiver always helps.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
It doesn't ever hurt exactly, but it's probably a little unnecessary.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
I got one.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
I want a class action lawsuit against this damn Facebook.
I bought the I bought these Meta sunglasses. They're expensive,
They're very expensive. I got them on a whim. I
was kind of drunk in Germany, and the main reason
I got them for is because it said like you
can do live streaming on Facebook and Instagram with them.
I'm like, that's cool, what a great feature. I could
(11:27):
use this monster events and things like that. And then
to buy them, and then a day later they just
removed the feature gone. Feature gone, and I can't I
can't really do anything.
Speaker 4 (11:37):
But I tried to take them back.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
They're like, you got to return them to the story
you bought them out, and I was like, in Germany,
so how do how do I sue Facebook.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
And just get a flight back to Germany be cheaper. No,
well let's take the book down. How much do these
glasses cost you?
Speaker 5 (11:52):
Well, because I got them in Germany they were more
expensive there, so how much I don't know it was
in euros Man?
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Are you too embarrassed and set? This? Is that what
it is? Yes?
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Good tell yes that was very from October Fest.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Real quick moment I want to do get a chance
to share that you're giving away a VIP cruise experience.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Very nice. All right, it's just call Mode dot com.

That's missed. Just call MO dot com if you're injured.
That's who you want to call our main man.
Speaker 6 (12:35):

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I like that main man, MO, I might steal it.
You got it, buddy, Thanks for coming in. Thank you appreciate.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
All right, take a little break, don't go anywhere. You're
listening to the Mansters in the morning, the smell of
fried chicken.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Welcome back to the Monsters in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
RE'MB Radio one oh four point one Rock Hazing live
on iHeartRadio. I'm Russ Rowlins along with Angel and Ryan.
Kylie Blakely coming to visit us today. We appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
And Lady James is here for this time.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Once again for Miss Monster Burlesque twenty twenty five. We're
going to be at the Abbey on December the fifth,
and we've been gathering all the.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Different contestants you have been gathered and this year it
looks good.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah, I mean it looked great last year as well,
but we've stepped it up a notch. I think a
lot of the lady saw what bbe Caliber was able
to do this year by being able to come in
and plug whatever she's doing. And you know, now I
feel like we got like our new friend with BB.
She's wonderful. She's actually she's really kind. At first, when
she first started coming in, she's a little nervous and
now she's sort of relaxed. She comes in and she
(13:46):
tells us about her tells us about her therapy trips,
and she feels more comfortable talking to us. You know,
and it's been really really good. How have you been.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
I've been great, Busy as always.
Speaker 8 (13:56):
You know, we start Halloween is really the busy start
of my freelance season.
Speaker 7 (14:01):
So I do a lot of things outside of my day.
Speaker 8 (14:03):
Job, right, and I am a professional missus clause. Okay,
so as soon as November first hits, all the red
and green come out. I mean, you got my nails
done yesterday for it. And then you know, I've got
a kid, I'm a homeowner. I have a boyfriend who's
in another state, so things are amping up for sure.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Your boy and your boyfriend saved our ass last year,
and he's doing the crown.
Speaker 8 (14:25):
Yes, there's already custom printed it. It's a three D
printed crown with your logo.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Oh that's bad.
Speaker 7 (14:29):
And then I'm going to stone it so it'll be
nice and sparkly.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
He was very nice. But like I said, he saved
us last year, and the show.
Speaker 7 (14:35):
Was on our anniversary this year.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
That's right, you told me that, so that December fifth is.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
Your three year anniversary.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Wow, yeah, that's very cool. And then you brought you
brought food. You heard us, You heard us complaining about
the health food that Ryan. I see you're over there
just eating away.
Speaker 7 (14:49):
Well, I'm a caterer.
Speaker 8 (14:50):
I work for Big City Catering, and so my job
is to feed people.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
And if there's a need, I'm going to feed.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yeah. Well, of course, yes, well Ryan needed you brought
the other one brought in the nuggets and cherry.
Speaker 7 (15:02):
There's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
That the covered strawberries, and they were delicious.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
As soon as Kylie said I'm bringing health food, I'm like, oh.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
This is not going to go. I don't know.
Speaker 7 (15:11):
I always got to plug in the healthy will take
chocolate covered strawberries absolutely.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
So yes, events coming up soon, about a month away
from Miss Monster Burless. I'm so glad that we are
doing it. We've got you know, we got the Angels
gonna DJ. Of course, Ryan and I are going to
host it. You're going to be performing.
Speaker 7 (15:31):
As well as well with you, yep, and I'll do
a number.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
And then we've got we got performances by Angelique, the
dance queen who crushed it last year. Daisy's gonna come
out with her dancing girls and do something with tequila.
Uh and for the first time, Amber Nova is going
to attempt to do I.
Speaker 7 (15:48):
Think she's going to kill it.
Speaker 8 (15:49):
I do. She's got such a great personality you can't
help for that to come across on stage.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Put the dancing part of it doesn't matter.
Speaker 7 (15:57):
It's about how you sell it, fake it till you
make it.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yeah, what do you think Angel?
Speaker 7 (16:02):
Angel killed it last year?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Angel killed it last year.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
But I'm a g.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
Well, we're all rooting for her. But if you hang
out with her for just a little bit, you.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Realize, you know who's hung out with her and seeing
her dance? Kylie Blakeley, you and you and Amber are buddies.
And listen, I love Amber to death, you know I do.
But but she only knows how to rock right.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
She doesn't know how to be.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
She does her version of mom dancing.
Speaker 8 (16:27):
Yes, in the audience that we have, mom dancing can
be hot. There will be some plenty of gentlemen in
the audience who will and ladies who will enjoy it.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
Trust like watching your kid do or reciting.
Speaker 7 (16:40):
Hey bo.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Keyler, what do you How do you think Amber will
do as dancing burlesque?
Speaker 6 (16:46):
You know, I'm pulling for Amber. She's my friend, she's
my little concert buddy. We've gone to a couple of
country concerts together. But she is a rocker. She's up
there head banging at the country concerts.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Okay, So maybe she should just lean into that instead
trying to do something like all the other girls.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
Maybe she should just do she she's already been trying Russ's.
She wants to turn it into a wrestling performance. She's
already said she wants to do sue plexus like she's
literally said, I know that she's going to turn it
into a wrestling demo.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Lady James only think she should just go rock.
Speaker 8 (17:21):
And that's the main thing, though, is you find your
niche and you lean into it. If everybody was the same,
it wouldn't be interesting. You find something that's personal for
you and that you can put your best foot forward.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
So wrestling PEBSCA is what's that thing?
Speaker 6 (17:36):
You know?
Speaker 7 (17:37):
The stranger things have happened.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
You guys have all the kinds of stuff.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
Last time they could do the girl with the rings
what like there's that very famous one where like there's
a girl and she's on a swing set and the
moon is behind her. But this time she pulls it down,
pulls down the moon and it's flat, and she dances
on it because she's a conspiracy person.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Till there.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
I'm picturing you know that scene in Bad Grandpa with
Warren's Cherry Pie. If you're listening to it, go watch that.
I want to see you do something like that.
Speaker 7 (18:10):
She she would kill it, she would kill it.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
She can.
Speaker 7 (18:13):
That's a popular song.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
I could see that. Uh, who did you bring here
with you today? Well?
Speaker 8 (18:17):
Last year we had four beautiful women competing, and this
year we had.
Speaker 7 (18:21):
Our runner up from last year come back.
Speaker 8 (18:23):
So uh, they were very very close in their points
last year, so obviously a second chance is warranted warrant.
So today we have a Miss Daddy's.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
We can play music.
Speaker 7 (18:40):
Here this morning.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
How are you doing today?
Speaker 8 (18:42):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (18:42):
I'm doing so good.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Hello, it's good to see you. I do remember last year.
You killed it last year. And I know that for
those that don't know, we don't decide who the winner
is the audience that's there. They get to text in
their votes and then that's how we decide with the
with the voting, and it was very very close last year,
right before the break.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
When we come back you.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
Were kind of talking and you were letting us know
that your other job, your real job, is your airline attendant. Right, Yes,
I am so okay, just before we get into the
burlesque thing of it, like, how are you affected right now?
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Are you affected right now with.
Speaker 9 (19:19):
Your job currently?
Speaker 10 (19:20):
Because I have this outlet, I've been a little more
flexible and being able to not fly as much because
we don't really know what's happening. We come in and
we're kind of told what's happening. And so right now
they're taking away about ten percent of flights, right, But
it's not until we show up that maybe that flight
(19:43):
is canceled and oh.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
That's a bummer. So you still have to show up
and get ready as if you were going to fly,
and it's not until you get there that you find
out your day could be shot down.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Yeah, and I were at angel So you're flying to
Boston every day.
Speaker 10 (19:58):
Well, wouldn't you think I'm hard worker? No, But to
start my day, I have to fly to Boston. So
if I don't get on that flight, or if that
flight doesn't exist, then it comes down on me. So
it's been kind of this game of Okay, do I
risk it do. I just move my stuff around. And
so luckily again I've been able to work and do
(20:20):
these gigs that kind of supplement that just so we
can kind of find our footing again and figure out
what's happening.
Speaker 9 (20:26):
Because of course, out of the ten.
Speaker 10 (20:30):
Airports that are being affected, both Orlando and Boston are
our list.
Speaker 9 (20:33):
Yeah, a list.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Hey have you ever been working as a as an
airline attendant and someone say, hey, I know you're the.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Burlest dancer I saw. Has that ever happened to you?
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yes, because I never would think that, you know, one
of the ladies that you know working in the point
or a burless dancer.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
What did you do? Would you say?
Speaker 10 (20:52):
I just kind of give them a little wink and
a little little shimmy shimmy, and then I asked them
if they want to coke? So yeah, I'm also performer
in the theme parks and I've had it happen where
I've met a family and then gone to work the
next day and I'm like in a completely different outfit.
Speaker 9 (21:07):
So I'm like, don't say anything, don't break the magic
for them. But yeah, I definitely people have So.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
When he's a worker in in in a theme Park.
Do you also do like Bebe Caliber does?
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Was she uh? In personally? Do you do? You do
that as well?
Speaker 1 (21:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (21:23):
Yeah, I actually had the opportunity to perform in a
dream role I performed. I was friends with one of
the Sanderson's sisters at Disney last year, and then I
work making magic over at Universal the Whizzing World of
Harry Potter.
Speaker 9 (21:40):
So I keep myself very busy.
Speaker 7 (21:42):
Oh but you have a new impersonation.
Speaker 9 (21:44):
Oh I do.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (21:45):
Somebody who's very popular in music nowadays. She created a
budget version of Chapel Roane. What do you call it?
Speaker 9 (21:51):
Cheaper Roan just changed the eyebrows a little bit, Give
me a wig.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
I was when when bab Caliber was in this week
she tell us that she's going on a cruise with
like sixty other performers that you know, do impersonations of, and.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
They're all bringing like, yeah, the sun. Can you imagine being.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
On a cruise ship and you got you know, fifteen
Elvis is running around And so if you were going
to do that and go on the cruise, which which
costume would you bring?
Speaker 9 (22:17):
I would love to do the vampire Chapel Row.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yeah you like it?
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Yeah, you like you like all that's right, you like spooky.
Speaker 10 (22:25):
I'm a spooky girl. Yes, underneath all this leopard prince
I forgot.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Yeah, yeah, you don't look spooky today. So last year
you had a really creepy looking she.
Speaker 7 (22:34):
Did the right hand.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, very good.
Speaker 9 (22:38):
Okay, well I'll take creepy as a compliment, thank you.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Yes, yeah, well because you lean into that, yeah, so
you should lean So going back to Ambernova, I don't
know if you met her or not, but she's a
professional wrestler, but she's really kind of how would you
describe her?
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Kylie dork dorky? There you go.
Speaker 6 (22:54):
I don't think he's got some personality.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah, but not what we call her sexy Fellas or.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Ryan, would you say sexy?
Speaker 7 (23:06):
With what she wears in the ring?
Speaker 8 (23:07):
There's plenty of boys who have Ambernova dreams.
Speaker 5 (23:10):
Okay, yeah, but she doesn't talk. If she doesn't talk,
and if you don't get to know her.
Speaker 7 (23:18):
When she talks, you get to know she's led down
the earth person. She's not funny, she is.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
So should she lean into what she knows, which.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Are just being sweet because you're chicks. He's a goofball.
She's a big, giant goofball. There's nothing rocker, saying that
she's a goofball.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah, should she lean into the rock thing or should
she try to step outside of her bubble and try
to be you know, like, you know.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Bur less sexy.
Speaker 10 (23:41):
I think I see I'm one of those jack of
all trades, masters of none. My catchphrase is your favorite
horror in the funeral parlor. And then I'll come out
on stage and it's ever.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
You're leaning into what you like.
Speaker 9 (23:56):
Yeah, you can be.
Speaker 10 (23:57):
You can be comedic if you're feeling more sexy, if
its song moves you a certain way. I think I
think I really listen to the music and it informs
me of like, this really makes me feel empowered, This
really makes me feel like I'm a clown. So I
think whatever makes her feel confident and fun, if she
(24:18):
wants to lean into the horror, I mean this is
the monsters.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah, she that would not be her thing.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
It's going to be pretty and whatever she does is
going to be very sparkly, very pretty flashy. Yeah, those
are the things that she definitely stylistically that she likes.
Speaker 8 (24:35):
Leaning into whatever makes her feel most confident is going
to be sexy. If you're trying to do something on stage.
It's not authentically you. The audience is going to clock it.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
I'm telling you it's going to be wrestling burleska. I
don't know why, y'all.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
I think you're right.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
It looks like a seizure.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Anything coming up that you want to plug?
Speaker 7 (24:52):
Yeah, this show, I mean, we're playing something all the time.

healthy little strawberry things as.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
We're wolfing down fried chicken.
Speaker 6 (27:52):
And you know what the bur last answers like the
chocolate dip strawberries romantic.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
They were nice, but they were pleasant. But that's right chicken.
Let's be honest. Welcome back News from the Headlines. I
want to get your guys opinion on this because I
after reading the story, I've gone by two different ways.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
Sounds like you. That sounds like you by the way
to do so Alex van Halen.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Alex van Halen has talked about, uh, several different times
about using AI to complete some unfinished van Halen songs,
but Eddie van Halen's son, Wolfgang, is totally against it.
Does not want and I get I don't know that
he and his uncle get along that that that wonderfully.
Speaker 4 (28:39):
They were going good russ up and up. I'll put
tell the story and you're sharing that with us now.
So I don't know the details of this particular story. Yeah,
but they were going. They were going in the right direction,
it seems like. And then Wolfgang just kind of a
cover story for Rolling Stone and he's kind of like, uh,
come out, he's lost some weight, he's talking. Yeah, he's
(29:00):
talked about some of the things that him and his
uncle don't agree upon. Because they were supposed to be
a tour in celebration of van Halen and Eddie, and
they were supposed to have all the guys that are around,
and they were gonna have some of the guitar some
of his contemporary guitar players kind of feeling, you know, obviously,
and it's all in honor of Eddie and van Halen
(29:22):
and and the like. Ultimately, at the end it was
Alex who put the k bosh on all of that.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
So yeah, well so so Alex wants to finish some
of the unreleased uff, and I guess David Lee Roth
is all about it as well, uh Wolfgang van Halen
and saying he does not believe that they complete uh
any unfinished van Halen music with a I uh. And
then now David Lee Roth has come out and said,
(29:47):
oh that f and kid like he's mad that they
won't do it.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
David's been the here's the thing, So if you go
back through all of this, David's been the one that's
probably been one of the biggest antagonists towards Wolfgang. Yeah,
and somebody's kind of a for lack of a better term,
a jerk to him.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
And we'll forgetting Halo is like, hey man, I'm thirty
four years old. Now you know I'm not a kid.
You know, I've always been his punching bag, but I'm
not a kid anymore.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
So okay, I personally, if there's some unfinished van Halen.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
So I wouldn't mind hear and what AI had to
do to, you know, to finish it up.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
What do you think, Angel, No, you would want to
hear it.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
I would, you know what I would much rather have.
I would much rather have some of the again, the
guitarsts that are considered as contemporaries, have them be in
the studio with Alex and all those guys and see
if they can organically some way come.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Up with what they think Eddie would have done where.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
This probably would have gone. I don't want a robot's
interpretation or idea scrubbing the Internet, scrubbing all these things
and then coming up with something that is robotic or
in in that vein of it. Let's get the humans
in there, and let's get the guys that Eddie looked
up to or the guys that looked up to Eddie. Sorry,
(31:00):
and and have it created that way but out. But
I mean, have Alex in there, have Wolfgang in there,
Have you know those guys Sammy and there, have Dave
and there, have those guys in there. So it's an
organic collective effort.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Are you opposed to it because it's a I or
are you opposed to it because it is it's not
something that his son Wolfgang would want. And the reason
I asked that is is because you know, like Randy
Travis could not finish on some songs that he had
so he had AI do it. And it was pretty cool.
But now and then Randy Travis still alive and he
(31:35):
can't anymore.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
This is the way that you described it right right,
It was pretty cool. That album didn't do anything well
the song did the song?
Speaker 2 (31:41):
Still?
Speaker 1 (31:42):
They still play the song. There's the first song. The
second one didn't get a lot of play there.
Speaker 4 (31:46):
But it's not like it's not gaining any traction on
streaming platforms. It's not like it hasn't done again. As
an artist. I can understand it from him as an
artist and an expression for him to get it out,
and that's his decision because he's still alive and it's
helping him do that. I have no qualm with that.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
But what you just said made sense. He's still alive,
so he can say yes or no.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Would any van Halen of one would would he have
wanted it to be finished by a right? What do
you think would you want to hear an unfinished Van
Halen music with Ai, you know, completing.
Speaker 5 (32:17):
It as someone who's never heard of van Halen's song
other than jump oh come.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
On and you had it.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
I've played a ton of van Halen. You've never you've
heard Valen. Whether you really recognize that or not. Yeah,
whether you recognize it or not. Before we had to
do the change within.
Speaker 5 (32:34):
I heard, I've heard snippets of van Halen.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
Van Halen.
Speaker 5 (32:38):
Yeah, so I have no dog in this fight for teacher.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
You never heard a hot for teacher.
Speaker 5 (32:44):
Again, I've heard these songs, but I've never heard, like
heard the whole song. I've never sat down and listened
to van Halen, So I don't I don't know, but
I'm with Angel on the the No AI thing. It's stupid.
It's a bunch of robots, dumb it should be. It's
kind of like I'm at the point where like it
feels illegal that this should even exist. It's a cop out.
It's weird. It's not actually that like, I don't mind
it uses the future. I don't mind it used as
(33:06):
a tool, like when they did the thing with the
Beatles album where they like had they change something some
stuff up. That's fine because that's actually them making the sounds.
But when it comes to like there's a reason why,
Like we're not all just listening to AI music right now,
Well we may be one day.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
I mean, don't you think we have to adapt for progress?
I mean a lot of times adapt for nothing but russ.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
But what's the okay you say, adapt for progress? What's
the progress here? When you've got it?
Speaker 1 (33:34):
We have the ability now to finish a song that
was halfway written, you see, and.
Speaker 4 (33:39):
You have all the humans that were around still available
to us, that were in the room when they were
creating this stuff. Why not lean on them because at
this point it would seem like a cop Yeah, well
that could be it, right, a huge one. The other
part of it, though, it seems like a cop out
in the sense of, hey, now we have this and
(33:59):
what I'm afraid of? It would be the same way
that you described the country song. Oh that's cool that
they did it. I thought it was cool. Yeah, yeah,
but the but the song doesn't go anywhere, right, I
don't want to hear what. I just don't want to
hear that.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
I don't know that. I didn't check, so I don't know.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
What I know. I could tell you for a fact,
it was.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
The Randy Travis though, the first thing that he did.
I know that whenever you go to Randy Travis Essentials,
it is listed as one of the essential songs now right, But.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
It wasn't on any country list for the end of
the year. It never was number one on the country
tunes when we did the ones and twos last year. Again,
And I'm not saying that to dismiss it. I'm saying,
like you just described, Oh it was a cool thing. Yeah,
I don't want Eddie van halen Ai song to be
just a cool bit and then we don't. It doesn't
gain go anywhere after that.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Yeah, Like the Prince has a bunch of unfinished songs.
Speaker 4 (34:46):
Prince well, no, not only not no, he has finished albums,
he's got completed No, he's all the stuff that there's
a I'm sure there's a section of those songs in
the vault that are not unfinished. And the people have
come out very strongly they don't want that that kind
of thing. But he's also has other unfinished There's another guy, Russ.
There's a rapper, his name is the DC. Now the
(35:06):
doc is hugely influential with West Coast hip hop he's
aligned himself with Doctor dre and and Snoop and all that,
and he had incredible first album and everything got into
a horrific wreck, crusted his vocal cords. He talks very,
very hoarse. Now he has the capability now to use
(35:28):
AI and make an album using AI because he's alive.
I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt
and give it listen because I was such a huge
fan of that first album, you know, so that would
be the circumstance where I would entertain it.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
Alex van Halen seems to be okay with doing the
AI and Wolfgang is he.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
I think it's stupid. It's effinge stupid, he says. I
don't like it. I think it's dumb, and he agrees
with you.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
He thinks, hey, some of our friends, we could finish
it and make it sound like dad, you know, instead
of letting.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
You want it.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
I think I think most fans would That's what they
would want. They don't want, you know, some robotic version
of that, you know, especially uh when it's in regards
to Eddie van Halen, who goes down as like you know,
historically one of the most influential guitar players of our lifetime.
Speaker 1 (36:15):
If not the most, Yeah for sure. All right, Well,
that that's there's your news from the headlines. We're gonna
take a little break when we come back. It's not
for the King of Denmark ride homes to eat some chicken,
you'res of the morning
